Abstract

本发明提供一种显示面板、显示装置及其驱动方法。本发明通过在显示面板的出光层下设置反光层,当显示面板处于强光时,出光层不工作,利用反光层反射自然光实现全彩显示,当显示面板处于弱光或黑暗时,出光层工作,同时反光层反射出光层发出的光,以降低出光层的工作强度而实现全彩显示,从而提高OLED的使用寿命及视觉效果。

Description

显示面板、显示装置及其驱动方法
技术领域
本发明属于显示技术领域,尤其涉及一种显示面板、显示装置及其驱动方法。
背景技术
近年,柔性有机发光二极管(Organic Light-Emitting Diode,OLED)屏幕因其具有自发光不需背光源、对比度高、厚度薄、响应速度快、视角宽、轻薄可折叠、使用温度范围广、构造及制程较简单等优异之特性,而发展迅速、市场规模不断扩大,被认为是下一代的平面显示器新兴应用技术。
OLED在性能上拥有得天独厚的优势,用在显示屏幕上可以提供更加完美的视觉体验。但是作为自发光屏幕,屏幕是由无数个红绿蓝子像素点组成的,在室外强光环境下,为了提高对比度,屏幕需提高亮度,屏幕在这种长时间高亮情况下使用,子像素的性能会不同程度地下降,由此造成显示不均现象,并影响显示屏的使用寿命,从而限制了OLED的普及。
因此,如何进一步降低OLED屏幕使用功耗的同时,提高OLED的使用寿命以及视觉效果,成了研究的重点。
发明内容
本发明实施例提供一种显示面板、显示装置及其驱动方法,通过在显示面板的出光层下设置反光层,当显示面板处于强光时,出光层不工作,利用反光层反射自然光实现全彩显示,当显示面板处于弱光或黑暗时,出光层工作,同时反光层反射出光层发出的光,以降低出光层的工作强度而实现全彩显示,从而提高OLED的使用寿命以及视觉效果。
根据本发明的第一方面,本发明提供一种显示面板,其包括:一阵列单元,包括一检测模块,所述检测模块用于检测外界自然光的光强;以及一出光单元,设于所述阵列单元上,所述出光单元包括出光层和反光层,其中所述反光层设于所述出光层下,其中所述出光层用于当外界自然光的光强大于一第一阈值时,呈关闭状态,当外界自然光的光强小于一第二阈值时,呈开启状态。
进一步地,所述显示面板还包括一封装单元,设于所述出光单元上。
进一步地,所述阵列单元还包括薄膜晶体管驱动模块,所述薄膜晶体管驱动模块用于控制所述出光层发出自发光以发光量大小,同时用于控制所述反光层反射光及反光量大小。
进一步地,所述出光层的材料包括芴类、咔唑类及噻吩类中的至少一种。
进一步地,所述反光层的材料包括金属薄膜、镀金属的聚酯薄膜及反光高分子聚合物中的至少一种。
进一步地,所述反光层的反射率大于80%。
进一步地,所述出光层包括红色出光层、绿色出光层以及蓝色出光层。
进一步地,所述反光层包括红色反光层、绿色反光层以及蓝色反光层。
根据本发明的第二方面,本发明提供一种显示装置,其包括任一如上述的显示面板。
根据本发明的第三方面,本发明提供一种上述显示装置的驱动方法,其包括:当检测到外界自然光的光强大于第一阈值时,出光层处于关闭状态,薄膜晶体管驱动电路控制反光层反射所述外界自然光;以及当检测到外界自然光的光强小于第二阈值时,所述出光层处于开启状态,所述薄膜晶体管驱动电路控制所述出光层自发光,同时所述薄膜晶体管驱动电路控制所述反光层反射所述自发光。
本发明实施例通过在显示面板的出光层下设置反光层,当显示面板处于强光时,出光层不工作,利用反光层反射自然光实现全彩显示,当显示面板处于弱光或黑暗时,出光层工作,同时反光层反射出光层发出的光,以降低出光层的工作强度而实现全彩显示,从而提高OLED的使用寿命以及视觉效果。

参阅图1,本发明实施例提供一种显示面板1,其包括阵列单元11、出光单元12、出光层121、红色出光层1211、绿色出光层1212、蓝色出光层1213、反光层122、红色反光层1221、绿色反光层1222、蓝色反光层1223以及封装单元13。
结合图2,阵列单元11包括检测模块111以及薄膜晶体管驱动电路112。检测模块111用于检测外界自然光的光强。薄膜晶体管驱动模块112用于控制出光层121发出自发光以发光量大小,同时用于控制反光层122反射光及反光量大小。
出光单元12设于阵列单元11上。出光单元12包括出光层121和反光层122,其中反光层122设于出光层121下,其中出光层121用于当外界自然光的光强大于一第一阈值时,呈关闭状态,当外界自然光的光强小于一第二阈值时,呈开启状态。如此设计,通过减少出光层121的工作时间,可以延缓其性能下降,从而延长显示面板的使用寿命。
出光层121包括红色出光层1211、绿色出光层1212以及蓝色出光层1213。其中,出光层121的材料包括但不限于芴类、咔唑类及噻吩类。
反光层122包括红色反光层1221、绿色反光层1222以及蓝色反光层1223。其中,反光层122的材料包括但不限于金属薄膜、镀金属的聚酯薄膜及反光高分子聚合物,且出光层的反射率大于80%,甚至可高达90%。
结合图3所示,反光层122当外界自然光的光强大于一第一阈值时,反射外界自然光实现全彩显示,解决显示面板亮度低以及对比度差的问题,从而提高显示面板在强光下的视觉效果。
结合图4所示,当外界自然光的光强小于一第二阈值时,反射出光层121发出的自发光,以降低出光层121的工作强度,如此可以达到低功耗效果的同时,实现全彩显示。
参阅图5,本发明实施例提供一种显示装置2,包括如上所述的显示面板1。所述显示装置2可以为:手机、平板电脑、电视机、显示器、笔记本电脑、数码相框、导航仪等任何具有显示功能的产品或部件。
参阅图6,本发明实施例提供一种显示装置的驱动方法,包括以下步骤。
步骤S10,当检测到外界自然光的光强大于第一阈值时,出光层处于关闭状态,薄膜晶体管驱动电路控制反光层反射所述外界自然光。
在本实施例中,在强光情况下,使出光层不工作,减少其使用时间延长显示面板使用寿命,同时利用反光层发射外界自然光实现全彩显示,以解决显示面板亮度低以及对比度差的问题,并且提高面板在强光下的视觉效果。
步骤S20,当检测到外界自然光的光强小于第二阈值时,所述出光层处于开启状态,所述薄膜晶体管驱动电路控制所述出光层自发光,同时所述薄膜晶体管驱动电路控制所述反光层反射所述自发光。
在本实施例中,在弱光或黑暗情况下,出光层工作,同时反光层反射出光层发出的光,以降低出光层的工作强度,进而达到低功耗的同时,实现全彩显示。
本发明通过在显示面板的出光层下设置反光层,当显示面板处于强光时,出光层不工作,利用反光层反射自然光实现全彩显示,当显示面板处于弱光或黑暗时,出光层工作,同时反光层反射出光层发出的光,以降低出光层的工作强度而实现全彩显示,从而提高OLED的使用寿命以及视觉效果。

Claims (10)

1.一种显示面板,其特征在于,包括:
一阵列单元,包括一检测模块,所述检测模块用于检测外界自然光的光强;以及
一出光单元,设于所述阵列单元上,所述出光单元包括出光层和反光层,其中所述反光层设于所述出光层下,其中所述出光层用于当外界自然光的光强大于一第一阈值时,呈关闭状态,当外界自然光的光强小于一第二阈值时,呈开启状态。
2.根据权利要求1所述的显示面板,其特征在于,还包括:一封装单元,设于所述出光单元上。
3.根据权利要求1所述的显示面板,其特征在于,所述阵列单元还包括薄膜晶体管驱动模块,所述薄膜晶体管驱动模块用于控制所述出光层发出自发光以发光量大小,同时用于控制所述反光层反射光及反光量大小。
4.根据权利要求1所述的显示面板,其特征在于,所述出光层的材料包括芴类、咔唑类及噻吩类中的至少一种。
5.根据权利要求1所述的显示面板,其特征在于,所述反光层的材料包括金属薄膜、镀金属的聚酯薄膜及反光高分子聚合物中的至少一种。
6.根据权利要求1所述的显示面板,其特征在于,所述反光层的反射率大于80%。
7.根据权利要求1所述的显示面板,其特征在于,所述出光层包括红色出光层、绿色出光层以及蓝色出光层。
8.根据权利要求1所述的显示面板,其特征在于,所述反光层包括红色反光层、绿色反光层以及蓝色反光层。
9.一种显示装置,其特征在于,包括如权利要求1至8任一所述的显示面板。
10.一种如权利要求9所述的显示装置的驱动方法,其特征在于,包括:
当检测到外界自然光的光强大于第一阈值时,出光层处于关闭状态,薄膜晶体管驱动电路控制反光层反射所述外界自然光;以及
当检测到外界自然光的光强小于第二阈值时,所述出光层处于开启状态,所述薄膜晶体管驱动电路控制所述出光层自发光,同时所述薄膜晶体管驱动电路控制所述反光层反射所述自发光。
