Abstract

Detailed Description
For a better understanding of the objects, structure and function of the invention, the acetabular cup installer of the invention is described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 1-3 show a configuration of an acetabular cup installer 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention, including a lever 1 and an operation tip assembly 2 detachably connected to the lever 1, the operation tip assembly 2 including a tip housing 21 detachably connected to the lever 1, and a movable rod 22 detachably connected to the tip housing 21 and located inside the tip housing 21, wherein one end of the movable rod 22 is configured to elastically abut against an end of the lever 1, and the other end is configured to extend to the outside of the tip housing 21 without external force and to retract to the inside of the tip housing 21 with external force.

It should be noted that the operating rod 1 and the head housing 21 may be connected by the fixing member 3 (preferably, a positioning pin) in the embodiment shown in fig. 2, or may be screwed by forming internal and external threads on the positioning protrusion 11 or on the inner wall of the head housing 21.
As shown in fig. 4 and 6, the end of the operating lever 1 connected to the tip case 21 may further include an anti-rotation protrusion 12 formed on the outer circumferential wall of the positioning protrusion 11, and the end of the tip case 21 connected to the operating lever 1 may be formed with an anti-rotation groove 212 for avoiding the anti-rotation protrusion 12. In a preferred embodiment shown in fig. 4, 5 and 7, the head housing 21 may have a guide groove 213 formed on an inner circumferential wall thereof, and the movable lever 22 may have a guide projection 223 formed on an outer circumferential wall thereof to be engaged with the guide groove 213. An acetabulum outer cup installer is characterized by comprising an operating rod and an operating end head assembly detachably connected with the operating rod, wherein the operating end head assembly comprises an end head shell detachably connected with the operating rod and a movable rod which is positioned in the end head shell and detachably connected with the end head shell, one end of the movable rod is configured to be elastically abutted against the end part of the operating rod, and the other end of the movable rod is configured to extend out of the end head shell without external force and retract into the end head shell with external force.
2. The acetabular cup installer as claimed in claim 1, wherein one of the end of the lever connected to the tip shell and the end of the tip shell connected to the lever is formed with a positioning protrusion, and the other is fitted and fixed to an outer peripheral wall of the positioning protrusion.
3. The acetabular cup installer as claimed in claim 2, wherein the lever has a positioning protrusion formed at an end thereof connected to the tip housing, and an end of the tip housing connected to the lever is fitted and fixed to an outer circumferential wall of the positioning protrusion.

The acetabular cup installer as claimed in claim 3, wherein the positioning protrusion defines a first radial through hole and the tip shell defines a second radial through hole, the end shell defining an end of the end shell coupled to the lever, the acetabular cup installer further comprising a fastener configured to pass through the first and second radial through holes to secure the lever to the tip shell.

The acetabular cup installer of claim 3 or 4, wherein the end of the lever coupled to the tip shell further comprises an anti-rotation protrusion formed on the outer peripheral wall of the positioning protrusion, and the end of the tip shell coupled to the lever is formed with an anti-rotation groove for avoiding the anti-rotation protrusion.
6. The acetabular cup installer of any of claims 1-4, wherein one of the inner peripheral wall of the tip shell and the outer peripheral wall of the movable stem has a guide slot formed thereon and the other has a guide projection formed thereon that mates with the guide slot.
7. The acetabular cup installer of claim 4, wherein the tip shell has a guide groove formed on an inner peripheral wall thereof and the movable rod has a guide projection formed on an outer peripheral wall thereof for engaging with the guide groove.
8. The acetabular cup installer of claim 7, wherein the tip housing comprises a first housing coupled to the lever and a second housing coupled coaxially to the first housing, the first housing having an outer diameter dimension that is greater than an outer diameter dimension of the second housing, the movable lever comprising a first lever segment and a second lever segment coupled coaxially to the first lever segment, the first lever segment having an outer diameter dimension that is greater than an outer diameter dimension of the second lever segment, the guide slot being formed on an inner peripheral wall of the first housing, the guide projection being formed on an outer peripheral wall of the first lever segment, the second housing having an inner diameter dimension that is the same as an outer diameter dimension of the second lever segment.
9. The acetabular cup installer of claim 8, wherein the outer peripheral wall of the first shell further comprises a bar channel formed therein.
10. The acetabular cup installer as claimed in claim 8, wherein the length of the fixture is less than or equal to the outer diameter of the tip shell and the length of the fixture is greater than the outer diameter of the positioning protrusion, the acetabular cup installer further comprising a sleeve that fits over the outer peripheral wall of the first shell of the tip shell.
