In the prior art, the flexible display panel 20 can be smoothly attached to the flat surface portion 100 and the arc surface portion, however, when the flexible display panel is attached to the sub-arc corner portion 300, since the connection surface between the sub-arc corner portion 300 and the flat surface portion 100 is a curved surface and the connection surface between the sub-arc corner portion 300 and the adjacent sub-arc surface portion 200 is also a curved surface, the sub-arc corner portion 300 has a structure in which a plurality of surfaces are curved surfaces, and the flexible display panel 20 cannot be completely unfolded and attached to the flat surface when attached to the area, so that wrinkles may occur at the sub-arc corner portion 300, and the attachment is not smooth enough. The cover plate of the invention can be formed by adopting a hot pressing mode, firstly, the middle area of a large plate is taken as a plane part 100, and then, the hot pressing treatment is carried out on a plurality of edges of the large plate, so that the edges are bent towards one side surface of the plane part 100 to form an arc-shaped arc surface part and an arc corner part.
In one embodiment, the protrusion 400 is integrally formed with the sub-arc corner 300. The cover plate 10 may be formed by forming the protrusion 400 on the large plate at a position corresponding to the position where the sub-arc corner 300 is subsequently formed, and then performing a hot pressing process on the large plate. Alternatively, the cover plate 10 may be formed by hot pressing a large plate, and the protrusion 400 may be formed at a position corresponding to the sub-arc 300. The protrusion 400 can be formed in different ways according to different manufacturing processes and different processing requirements of the cover plates.
In one embodiment, the protrusion 400 is formed separately from the sub-arc corner 300. After the cover plate 10 is manufactured, the size and the shape of the required protrusion 400 are calculated according to the parameters of the flexible display panel 20 to be subsequently attached, the specific specification and the size are determined through simulation, then the protrusion 400 is manufactured separately, the protrusion 400 and the flexible display panel 20 are fixed together, and then the flexible display panel 20 is attached. Since the protrusions 400 and the sub-arc corners 300 are formed independently, when the same cover plate corresponds to different types of flexible display panels 20, the sizes and shapes of the protrusions 400 are different, so that different protrusions 400 can be selected to be fixed at corresponding positions of the sub-arc corners 300 according to different flexible display panels 20. Therefore, the existing cover plate manufacturing equipment does not need to be changed, and only the corresponding bulge 400 needs to be additionally manufactured and then fixed. The independently formed protrusion 400 and the cover plate may be made of the same or different materials, and may be fixed to the sub-arc corner 300 of the cover plate by means of bonding, welding, or the like.
As shown in b of fig. 3, the convex surface 401 of the protrusion 400 may be a circular arc or a wave, the convex surface area of the protrusion 400 is increased relative to the area of the sub-arc corner 300, and the flexible display panel 20 is attached to the convex surface 401 of the protrusion 400, so that the area of the flexible display panel 20 which is larger than the area of the sub-arc corner 300 is supported by the convex surface 401 of the protrusion 400, and thus no wrinkle is generated. In an embodiment, the protrusion 400 is formed in only one of the sub-arc corner portions 300, and any one of the sub-arc corner portions 300 may be selected to be formed. When the flexible display panel 20 is attached to the cover plate 10, other portions are attached first, and finally, a portion corresponding to the sub-arc corner 300 where the protrusion 400 is formed is attached, so that the original wrinkles of other portions are transferred thereto, and after the flexible display panel 20 is attached to the protrusion 400, the flexible display panel 20 does not generate wrinkles.

The sub-arc corner 300 is connected to a corner of the planar portion 100, that is, to two arc edges forming the corner, and is further connected to two adjacent sub-arc portions 200 at two sides of the corner, so that the two adjacent sub-arc portions 200 are connected. The plurality of sub-arc portions 300 connects the plurality of sub-arc portions 200 to each other.
The planar portion 100, the arc portion and the arc corner portion are connected to form an accommodating cavity. Within the receiving cavity, at least one of the sub-arc corners 300 has a protrusion formed therein.
In the prior art, after the cover plate is manufactured, the cover plate is attached to the flexible display panel 20, in order to realize multi-surface curved display of the flexible display panel 20, the flexible display panel 20 is attached to the plane portion 100, and is also attached to the plurality of sub-arc surface portions 200 and the plurality of sub-arc corner portions 300, and the portion on the plane portion 100 and the portions on the arc surface portions and the arc corner portions need to be displayed after the attachment.
When the flexible display panel 20 is attached to the flat surface portion 100 and the arc surface portion, the flexible display panel can be smoothly attached to the flat surface portion 100, however, when the flexible display panel is attached to the sub-arc corner portion 300, since the connection surface between the sub-arc corner portion 300 and the flat surface portion 100 is a curved surface and the connection surface between the sub-arc corner portion 300 and the adjacent sub-arc surface portion 200 is also a curved surface, the sub-arc corner portion 300 has a structure in which three surfaces are curved surfaces, and the flexible display panel 20 cannot be completely unfolded and attached to the flat surface when attached to the area, so that wrinkles may occur at the sub-. When the display is needed subsequently, the display effect in the area is not good, and the real multi-surface display is difficult to realize.
With the cover plate of the present invention, since the protrusion 400 is formed at the sub-arc corner 300, which is equivalent to increase the contact area of the sub-arc corner 300, when the subsequent flexible display panel 20 is attached to the sub-arc corner 300, the portion of the flexible display panel 20 that will originally wrinkle will be attached to the protrusion 400, so that the whole flexible display panel 20 presents a smooth attachment state, no wrinkle will be generated, the display effect of the flexible display panel 20 is improved, and real multi-surface display is achieved.
In one embodiment, the protrusion 400 is integrally formed with the sub-arc corner 300. The protrusions 400 may be formed on the large plate at positions corresponding to the positions where the sub-arc corners 300 are subsequently formed, and then the large plate may be subjected to a hot pressing process to form the cover plate. Alternatively, the cover plate may be formed by hot pressing the large plate, and the protrusion 400 may be formed at a position corresponding to the sub-arc 300. The protrusion 400 can be formed in different ways according to different manufacturing processes and different processing requirements of the cover plates.
In one embodiment, the protrusion 400 is formed separately from the sub-arc corner 300. After the cover plate is manufactured, the size and the shape of the needed bulge 400 are calculated according to the parameters of the flexible display panel 20 to be attached subsequently, the specific specification and the size are determined through simulation, the bulge 400 is manufactured separately, then the bulge 400 and the flexible display panel 20 are fixed together, and then the flexible display panel 20 is attached. Since the protrusions 400 and the sub-arc corners 300 are formed independently, when the same cover plate corresponds to different types of flexible display panels 20, the sizes and shapes of the protrusions 400 are different, so that different protrusions 400 can be selected to be fixed at corresponding positions of the sub-arc corners 300 according to different flexible display panels 20. Therefore, the existing cover plate manufacturing equipment does not need to be changed, and only the corresponding bulge 400 needs to be additionally manufactured and then fixed. The independently formed protrusion 400 and the cover plate may be made of the same or different materials, and may be fixed to the sub-arc corner 300 of the cover plate by means of bonding, welding, or the like.
The convex surface 401 of the protrusion 400 may be arc-shaped or wave-shaped, the area of the convex surface 401 of the protrusion 400 is increased relative to the area of the sub-arc corner 300, and the flexible display panel 20 is attached to the convex surface 401 of the protrusion 400, so that the area of the flexible display panel 20 which is larger than the area of the sub-arc corner 300 is supported by the convex surface 401 of the protrusion 400, and thus no wrinkle is generated. Of course, the convex surface 401 of the protrusion 400 may have other regular or irregular shapes, which can be determined according to the simulation result.
In one embodiment, the number of projections 400 in the sub-arc corner 300 formed with projections is one or more. When the number of the protrusions 400 is one, the convex surface may be an arc shape or a wave shape, and when the number of the protrusions 400 is plural, the convex surface may be an arc shape, and the plurality of protrusions 400 may be arranged in a row, or may be distributed in an array in the sub-arc corner 300. The larger the number of the protrusions 400, the larger the contact area is, the smaller the tendency of generating wrinkles is, but it should be noted that the number of the protrusions 400 is not too large, so as to prevent the contact area from being too large, and the phenomenon that the area of the flexible display panel 20 is not enough to be attached exists in a partial region between the flexible display panel 20 and the cover plate. Therefore, when the number of the protrusions 400 is plural, the size, shape, position, number, etc. of the protrusions 400 need to be set reasonably according to the parameters of the flexible display panel 20 to be attached. The protrusions 400 may be equal in size or unequal in size, may be arranged at equal intervals, or may be arranged at unequal intervals.
In the cover plate of the present invention, the protrusion 400 is formed in at least one of the sub-arc corners 300, and there are various ways of disposing the protrusion 400.
In an embodiment, the protrusion 400 is formed in only one of the sub-arc corner portions 300, and any one of the sub-arc corner portions 300 may be selected to be formed. When the flexible display panel 20 is attached to the cover plate, other portions are attached first, and finally, a portion corresponding to the sub-arc corner 300 where the protrusion 400 is formed is attached, so that the original wrinkles of other portions are transferred to the portion, and after the flexible display panel 20 is attached to the protrusion 400, the flexible display panel 20 does not generate wrinkles.
In one embodiment, there are two sub-arc corners 300 having the protrusions 400 formed therein, and in this case, the protrusions 400 are disposed in two ways.
In one embodiment, the protrusions 400 are formed on the oppositely disposed sub-arc corners 300. As shown in fig. 1, the sub-arc corners 300 are respectively located at a plurality of positions, namely, the upper left, the lower left, the upper right and the lower right, and the upper left and the upper right are oppositely disposed, so that, taking the example of forming the protrusions 400 in the sub-arc corners 300, when the flexible display panel 20 is attached, the lower left portion, the upper right portion and the middle portion of the flexible display panel 20 are attached, and finally the upper left portion and the lower right portion are attached, so that the original wrinkles of the lower left portion and the upper right portion can be transferred to the upper left portion and the lower right portion, and after the flexible display panel 20 is attached to the protrusions 400, the flexible display panel 20 does not generate wrinkles. Similarly, in the case where the protrusions 400 are formed in the upper right and lower left sub-arc corner portions 300, the flexible display panel 20 can be similarly formed without wrinkles in the same principle.
In one embodiment, the protrusions 400 are formed on adjacently disposed sub-arc corners 300. As shown in fig. 1, taking the forming of the protrusion 400 in the upper left and lower left sub-arc corners 300 as an example, when the flexible display panel 20 is attached, the upper right portion, the lower right portion and the middle portion of the flexible display panel 20 are attached, and finally the upper left portion and the lower left portion are attached, so that the original wrinkles of the upper right portion and the lower right portion can be transferred to the upper left portion and the lower left portion, and after the flexible display panel 20 is attached to the protrusion 400, the wrinkles are not generated in the flexible display panel 20. Similarly, in the case of forming the protrusions 400 in the upper right and lower right sub-arc corner portions 300, the flexible display panel 20 may be similarly formed without wrinkles in the same principle.
In one embodiment, there are three sub-arc corners 300 having protrusions 400 formed therein. At this time, the portion of the flexible display panel 20 corresponding to the flat portion 100, the arc portion, and the sub-arc corner 300 where the protrusion 400 is not formed may be attached to the cover plate, and then the other three portions may be attached, so that the original wrinkles of the portion where the protrusion 400 is disposed may be transferred to the other three portions, and after the portion is attached to the protrusion 400, the flexible display panel 20 may not generate wrinkles.
In one embodiment, a plurality of sub-arc corners 300 each have a protrusion 400 formed therein. During the attaching process, the portion of the flexible display panel 20 corresponding to the planar portion 100 and the portion corresponding to the arc surface portion are attached to the cover plate, and then the portions corresponding to the plurality of sub-arc corners 300 are attached, so that the originally generated wrinkles at the plurality of sub-arc corners 300 are offset from the protrusions 400, and finally no wrinkles are generated in the flexible display panel 20.
According to the invention, the bulge is formed on at least one sub-arc corner, when the flexible display panel 20 is attached to the cover plate, the contact area between the sub-arc corner and the flexible display panel 20 is increased, so that the flexible display panel 20 can be attached to the bulge, the phenomenon that the flexible display panel 20 is folded at multiple corners is improved, and the attaching effect is better.
The invention provides a cover plate and a display device, wherein the cover plate comprises a plane part, an arc surface part and an arc corner part, and the plane part comprises a plurality of edges and a plurality of corners connected with the edges; the cambered surface part comprises a plurality of sub-cambered surface parts which are respectively connected with a plurality of edges of the plane part and are bent into cambered surfaces towards the surface of one side of the plane part; the arc corner part comprises a plurality of sub-arc corner parts, the sub-arc corner parts are connected with one corner of the plane part and two adjacent sub-arc surface parts corresponding to the corners, and the plane part, the arc surface parts and the arc corner parts enclose an accommodating cavity; wherein at least one of the plurality of sub-arc corners is formed with a protrusion within the receiving cavity. Through forming the protrusion at least one sub-arc corner, when the following flexible display panel 20 is attached to the cover plate, because the contact area between the sub-arc corner and the flexible display panel 20 is increased, the flexible display panel 20 can be attached to the protrusion, the phenomenon that the flexible display panel 20 generates wrinkles at multiple angles is improved, and the attaching effect is better.

Claims (10)

1. A cover plate, characterized in that the cover plate comprises:
a planar portion including a plurality of sides and a plurality of corners connected to the plurality of sides;
the arc surface part comprises a plurality of sub-arc surface parts, the sub-arc surface parts are respectively connected with a plurality of edges of the plane part, and the sub-arc surface parts are bent into arc surfaces towards one side surface of the plane part;
the arc corner part comprises a plurality of sub-arc corner parts, the sub-arc corner part is connected with one corner of the plane part and two adjacent sub-arc surface parts corresponding to the corner, and the plane part, the arc surface parts and the arc corner parts enclose an accommodating cavity;
wherein at least one of the plurality of sub-arc corners has a protrusion formed within the receiving cavity.
2. The decking of claim 1, wherein the projections are integrally formed with the sub-arcuate corners.
3. The decking of claim 1, wherein the projections are formed separately from the sub-arcuate corners.
4. The decking of claim 3, wherein the projections are of the same material as the decking.
5. The decking of claim 1, wherein the convex surfaces of the projections are arcuate or wavy.
6. The decking of claim 1, wherein the projections are one or more in number in the sub-arc corners formed with the projections.
7. The decking of claim 6, wherein the projections are of equal size.
8. The decking of claim 1, wherein the projections are formed on oppositely disposed sub-arcuate corners.
9. The decking of claim 1, wherein the projections are formed on adjacently disposed sub-arcuate corners.
10. A display device, comprising:
the cover plate comprises a flat surface part, an arc surface part and an arc corner part, wherein the flat surface part comprises a plurality of edges and a plurality of corners connected with the edges, the arc surface part comprises a plurality of sub-arc surface parts, the sub-arc surface parts are respectively connected with the edges of the flat surface part and are bent into an arc surface towards one side surface of the flat surface part, the arc corner part comprises a plurality of sub-arc corner parts, the sub-arc corner parts are connected with one corner of the flat surface part and two adjacent sub-arc surface parts corresponding to the corners, and the flat surface part, the arc surface part and the arc corner parts enclose a containing cavity, wherein at least one of the sub-arc corner parts is provided with a bulge in the containing cavity;
the flexible display panel sets up hold the intracavity, and with plane portion the arc face portion with the laminating of arc corner portion.
