When the gas water heater operates, waste flue gas generated by combustion is collected by the gas collecting hood, the blades in the first channel are turned over under the wind pressure generated by the operation of the forced draft fan in the water heater, a smoke exhaust channel is formed between the adjacent blades, and the flue gas enters the chimney through the smoke exhaust channel; meanwhile, the valve plate in the second channel moves upwards along the guide shaft under the wind pressure generated by the strong exhaust fan to expose the smoke outlet, and the smoke enters the chimney from the smoke outlet at the same time to be normally exhausted.

When outdoor wind is blown, when the wind pressure sensor detects that the pressure in the smoke collecting hood is abnormal, the unsmooth exhaust is indicated; the signal is fed back to the control system, the control system controls the motor to operate, the driving base drives the blades and the barrel sleeve to rotate together, and the driving base helps to drive smoke to be smoothly discharged outwards, so that the normal work of the water heater is guaranteed.
When the gas water heater stops running, the blades in the first channel restore to the horizontal position, and the cap in the second channel falls to the initial position to prevent outside wind from flowing back into the chamber through the smoke pipe.

Claims (13)

1. A chimney anti-downdraft structure comprises a fan (2) arranged at the inlet of a chimney (1); the fan is characterized in that the fan (2) comprises a motor (22), at least two blades (23) and a base (24); wherein:
the motor (22) is in driving connection with the base (24), and the blades (23) are sequentially arranged along the periphery of the base (24) and can rotate relative to the base (24);
when no external force acts on each blade, the edges of the adjacent blades (23) are butted or partially overlapped under the action of self gravity to form a baffle plate with a surface capable of stopping the chimney (1).
