Abstract
The invention discloses a forming die for forming a circular porous glass blank, which mainly comprises an upper die, a middle die and a lower die. The upper die part consists of an upper die and an upper die base plate, the upper die is arranged on the upper die base plate, and the upper die base plate is fixed on a die frame of the press machine through screws. The middle mold part consists of a female mold and a female mold gland, the female mold is arranged on the female mold gland, and the female mold gland is fixed on a mold frame of the press machine by screws. The lower die part consists of a lower punch, a lower die bottom plate, a core rod fixing plate, a core rod bottom plate and a connecting rod, wherein the lower punch is arranged on the lower die bottom plate, and the lower die bottom plate is fixed on a die frame of the press machine by using screws; the core rod is arranged on a core rod fixing plate, the core rod fixing plate is fixed on a core rod bottom plate through screws, one end of a connecting rod is connected to the core rod bottom plate through threads, and the other end of the connecting rod is fixed on a die carrier of the press machine through threads. The die set has simple structure and convenient installation, and can be used on various die-frame type presses.

Background
With the rapid development of the glass-metal sealing technology in the field of aerospace connectors, the demand of circular porous glass blanks is increasing day by day, and in order to meet the production and use requirements of the circular porous glass blanks for the aerospace connectors, the invention designs a mold for molding the circular porous glass blanks. In addition, in the prior art, a plurality of molds for molding the circular porous glass blank adopt a one-way pressing mode, the molded circular porous glass blank is easy to have the problem of uneven density distribution along the height direction, and the mold designed by the invention adopts a two-way pressing mode, so that the problem of uneven density distribution of the molded circular porous glass blank is solved, and the phenomenon that the molded circular porous glass blank shrinks inconsistently in the glue discharging and vitrifying process is fundamentally avoided.

The lower die part consists of a lower punch 5, a lower die bottom plate 6, a core rod 7, a core rod fixing plate 8, a core rod bottom plate 9 and a connecting rod 10, wherein the lower punch 5 is installed on the lower die bottom plate 6, and the lower die bottom plate 6 is fixed on a die frame of the press machine by using screws; the mandrel 7 is mounted on a mandrel fixing plate 8, the mandrel fixing plate 8 is fixed on a mandrel base plate 9 by means of screws, one end of a connecting rod 10 is connected to the mandrel base plate 9 by means of threads, and the other end of the connecting rod 10 is fixed on a die carrier of the press by means of threads. In the process of forming the round porous glass blank, the lower punch 5 and the female die 3 can be fixed, and the upper punch 2 moves downwards to finish one-way pressing; the female die 3 is still, and the upper punch 2 and the lower punch 5 move relatively at the same time to complete bidirectional pressing; the lower punch 5 can be still fixed, and the upper punch 2 and the female die 3 simultaneously move downwards to complete bidirectional pressing. After the round porous glass blank is formed, the upper punch 2 firstly exits from the female die 3, and the female die 3 is driven by the die frame of the press machine to move downwards to pull out the round porous glass blank, so that the demoulding is finished.
