Referring to fig. 1, an embodiment of the present invention provides an icon display method, including:
step 101, obtaining preview picture content in a shooting preview interface.
In this step, the shooting preview interface may be a preview interface when a camera of the electronic device shoots a picture or a video, or a preview interface when the electronic device is connected with other video or image acquisition devices.
And 102, when the preview picture content comprises a target object, displaying a target icon in the shooting preview interface, wherein the target icon is associated with the target object or a target feature of the target object.
In this step, if the target object exists in the shooting preview interface, the target object may be a pre-stored object, for example, a picture of the target object is stored in a database of the target object in the electronic device.
The target object is also an object which can comprise pre-stored object characteristics, and the object characteristics can be characteristics such as object type and object color; taking fig. 7 as an example, when the object feature includes a physical type, for example, if the object feature stored in advance in the electronic device includes an alarm clock, and an object of the alarm clock type or an alarm clock S1 appears in the shooting preview interface, it is determined that the object is a target object, and an icon a1 of an alarm clock application is displayed; or when an object (CD player) S2 of the music player type appears on the shooting preview interface, determining that the CD player S2 is the target object, and displaying an icon a2 of the music playing application, where when the object characteristics include object colors, for example, when the object characteristics stored in advance by the electronic device include an object with a red color, the shooting preview interface appears a red object, determining that the object is the target object.
It is understood that the target object mentioned in the embodiment of the present invention may be an object entity, and may also be a planar material, such as a photograph of the object.
After the target object is identified, a target icon associated with the target object is displayed on the shooting preview interface, wherein the icon may be an icon of an application program or other icons in the electronic device.
Specifically, if the target object is an object pre-stored in the electronic device, the icon is an icon with which an association relationship is pre-established with the target object; for example, if an alarm clock is stored as a target object in advance by the electronic device, an association relationship between the alarm clock and at least one icon needs to be established during storage, and thus when the alarm clock appears on the shooting preview interface, the icon for establishing the association relationship is displayed on the shooting preview interface.
If the target object comprises an object feature stored in the electronic equipment in advance, the icon is an icon establishing an association relationship with the object feature; for example, if an association relationship is established in advance between object features of an alarm clock and an icon of an alarm clock application program in the electronic device, when the object features of a shooting preview interface include a target object when the alarm clock occurs, for example, a picture shot by the shooting preview interface includes the alarm clock or a watch associated with the object features of the alarm clock, the icon of the alarm clock application program is displayed in the shooting preview interface.
Thus, for the icon which needs to be hidden by the user, the icon can be hidden by establishing an association relation with the target object or the prestored object characteristics in advance; if the hidden icon is used for using the icon, the target object corresponding to the hidden icon is shot through a camera of the electronic equipment, and the operation is simple and convenient. Based on the pre-established association relationship, the icons are hidden and displayed after being hidden, and the privacy of the user is protected.
In the embodiment of the invention, the preview picture content in the shooting preview interface is acquired, the target icon is displayed in the shooting preview interface under the condition that the preview picture content comprises the target object, and the hiding and the displaying after hiding of the icon are realized based on the pre-established association relation, so that the privacy of a user is protected, and the safety of icon display is improved; meanwhile, the display space of the display desktop is saved, and the messy display desktop caused by a large number of icons is avoided.
