Further, the motor 5 is fixedly connected with the housing 1, an output shaft of the motor 5 is in driving connection with the left end of the plunger 6 through a cam or a hinge rod, and the motor 5 can drive the plunger 6 to slide along the axial direction when rotating, so that the plunger 6 can block the left part and the right part of the cavity 13, or the left part and the right part of the cavity 13 can be allowed to be communicated.
Since the means for driving the plunger 6 to slide back and forth in the axial direction by the motor 5 is well known to those skilled in the art, it will not be described herein in detail.
With continued reference to fig. 4, in order to prevent wash water in the left portion of the cavity 13 from overflowing the annular gap between the plunger 6 and the housing 1 (the position where the plunger 6 is slidably coupled to the housing 1 in fig. 4), the left end of the bellows 7 in fig. 4 is sealingly coupled to the left end wall of the left portion of the cavity 13, and the right end of the bellows 7 in fig. 4 is sealingly coupled to the right end of the plunger 6.
The operation principle and the cleaning operation of the drain pump of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to fig. 3 to 5.
When the washing machine needs to drain water, the motor 5 drives the plunger 6 to slide leftwards, and the left and right parts of the cavity 13 are communicated accordingly. The washing water in the water inlet passage 111 sequentially passes through the first U-shaped port 32 and the second U-shaped port 42 and then enters the gaps between the plurality of convex structures 31. After passing through the plurality of protrusion structures 31, the washing water flows from the right portion of the cavity 13 to the left portion of the cavity 13 in the axial direction of the filter member 3, and finally flows to the outside through the water outlet passage 121.
Wherein, when the washing water flows through the plurality of protrusion structures 31, the plurality of protrusion structures 31 intercept the thread scraps 8 in the washing water, thereby achieving the purpose of filtering the washing water.
When the washing machine finishes draining, the motor 5 drives the plunger 6 to slide rightwards, and the left part and the right part of the cavity 13 are accordingly separated.
When the drain valve needs to be cleaned, the user manually unscrews the cover body 2 out of the mounting hole, and thus takes the filter member 3 and the cleaning member 4 out of the housing 1. Then, the user separates the cleaning member 4 from the filter member 3 by operating the handle 43. With the separation of the cleaning member 4 from the filter member 3, the thread scraps 8 on the convex structure 31 are scraped off by the cleaning member 4. After the cleaning member 4 is separated from the filtering member 3, the user can clean the thread scraps 8 on the cleaning member 4 only by reversing the cleaning member 4.
Therefore, the drain valve can quickly and conveniently clean the thread scraps 8 in the drain valve through the arrangement of the cleaning piece 4, and is convenient for the operation of a user. And the invention also avoids the situation that the cleaning piece 4 falls into the cavity 13 when the filter member 3 is taken out by making the attaching direction of the cleaning piece 4 and the filter member 3 vertical to the direction of taking out the shell 1.
Furthermore, although not shown, in another possible embodiment of the invention, the end of the filter element 3 remote from the cover 2 may be provided in a closed configuration, i.e. an end cap may be provided on the end of the filter element 3 remote from the cover 2, as required by a person skilled in the art. A plurality of protrusion structures 31 are then provided on the end cap while a plurality of filtering holes for allowing the washing water to pass therethrough are provided on the end cap. Accordingly, the cleaning member 4 is provided in a structure matching the shape of the end cap so that the cleaning member 4 is attached to the inside of the end cap.
So far, the technical solutions of the present invention have been described in connection with the preferred embodiments shown in the drawings, but it is easily understood by those skilled in the art that the scope of the present invention is obviously not limited to these specific embodiments. Equivalent changes or substitutions of related technical features can be made by those skilled in the art without departing from the principle of the invention, and the technical scheme after the changes or substitutions can fall into the protection scope of the invention.
