Abstract
本申请提供了一种切换过程中确定核心网类型的方法、终端设备、接入网设备和核心网设备,可以在小区切换的过程中,目标接入网设备通过终端设备上报优选核心网类型信息确定目标小区的核心网类型,或者,目标接入网设备通过与核心网设备之间的信息交互确定目标小区的核心网类型,从而,保证了小区切换的顺利进行,提高了用户体验。该方法包括:在终端设备从源小区切换至目标小区的过程中,该终端设备向源接入网设备发送针对该目标小区的优选核心网类型信息,其中,该优选核心网类型信息为确定该目标小区的核心网类型的参考信息。
