Background
With the development of liquid crystal display technology, the application field of liquid crystal displays, especially color liquid crystal displays, is also widening. Liquid crystal displays are passive light emitting elements and the display screen itself does not emit light but is illuminated by a backlight below it. The backlight source and the liquid crystal display screen are combined together to form the liquid crystal display module.
The so-called backlight (Back Light) is a Light source located behind a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), and its lighting effect will directly affect the visual effect of the liquid crystal display module (LCM). The backlight source has the characteristics of high brightness, long service life, uniform light emission and the like. The backlight source is divided into a direct type backlight source and an edge type backlight source according to the distribution position of the light source.
In the direct type backlight, a light source (an LED chip array) and a printed circuit board are disposed at the bottom of the backlight, and light is emitted from the LEDs, passes through a reflector at the bottom, and then uniformly emitted through a diffuser plate and a brightness enhancement film on the surface.
The edge-lit backlight is a backlight in which linear or point-like light sources are arranged on the side of a specially designed light guide plate. The light guide plate principle is to utilize the interference phenomenon that the distribution of the mesh points at the bottom of the light guide acrylic plate destroys light, and to uniformly convert a linear light source into a surface light source, and the light guide plate has the function of guiding the scattering direction of light, so that the light distribution is more uniform, the shadow of a reflection point cannot be seen from the front, the brightness of the panel is improved, the uniformity of the brightness of the panel is ensured, and the excellent light guide plate has great influence on backlight.
With the development of display technology and the increasing demand of user experience, people's demand for full-screen is also coming. Along with the development of comprehensive screen technique, the frame of screen is also more and more narrow, and the problem that brings along therewith is that, the clearance between the light emitting area of two adjacent LED lamps is bigger than normal, and the light that leads to clearance department between two adjacent LEDs is darker, has the uneven problem of emission light dark and dark among the whole backlight unit, seriously influences customer experience. Therefore, a new backlight module is needed to solve the above problems.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a backlight module which can solve the problem of uneven brightness of emitted light in the existing backlight module, improve the display effect and improve the experience of customers.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a backlight module, which includes: circuit board and at least two LED lamps. As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the light-emitting surface 22 is a surface of the LED lamp facing the light guide plate 3. The length of the light emitting surface 22 in the pad arrangement direction is larger than the length of the submount in the pad arrangement direction. Therefore, the distance between the light emitting surfaces 22 of the two adjacent LED lamps 2 is reduced under the condition that the positions of the LED lamps 2 on the circuit board 1 are not changed, so that the problem that the light and shade of the emitted light of the backlight module 100 are uneven is avoided, the display uniformity of the backlight module 100 is improved, and the user experience is improved.

The length of the light emitting face 22 in the pad arrangement direction is in the range of 18 to 36 mm. Preferably 22mm, 26mm or 30 mm.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the width of the light-emitting surface 22 in the present embodiment in the direction perpendicular to the pad arrangement direction is larger than the width of the base 21 in the direction perpendicular to the pad arrangement direction. In practical operation, the width of the light-emitting surface 22 in the direction perpendicular to the pad arrangement direction may also be equal to the width of the base 21 in the direction perpendicular to the pad arrangement direction, according to specific requirements.
The light guide plate 3 is disposed on one side of the LED lamp 2 away from the circuit board 1. The light guide plate 3 is generally made of acrylic plastic with high transmittance, and the surface is very smooth, so most of the internal light will be regularly reflected on the flat surface thereof, and will not be emitted to the outside of the light guide plate 3. Thereby converting the light emitted from the LED lamp 2 at the side of the light guide plate 3 into a surface light source to be incident on the optical film 6 on the light guide plate 3.
The housing 4 includes a first housing 41, a second housing 42, and a third housing 43. The first frame body 41 is arranged on the surface of one side of the circuit board 1 far away from the LED lamp 2; the second frame 42 is vertically connected to one side surface of the first frame 41; the third frame 43 is vertically connected to the other side surface of the first frame 41. The frame 4 is mainly used to protect the components of the backlight module 100, such as the circuit board 1, the LED lamp 2, and the light guide plate 3.
The reflective sheet 5 is disposed between the second frame 42 and the light guide plate 3, and is mainly used for reflecting the light exposed from the bottom of the light guide plate 3 back to the light guide plate 3, so as to improve the availability of the light.
The optical film 6 is disposed on a surface of the light guide plate 3 away from the second frame 42. Wherein the optical film 6 includes: a lower diffusion sheet, a prism sheet, and an upper diffusion sheet. The lower diffusion sheet is arranged on the surface of the light guide plate 3 far away from the second frame body 42; the prism sheet is arranged on the lower diffusion sheet; the upper diffusion sheet is arranged on the prism sheet. The lower diffusion sheet and the upper diffusion sheet can diffuse the light received by the light guide plate 3, and the prism sheet can concentrate the diffused light to emit within a certain angle, so as to achieve the purpose of improving the brightness of the display panel.
As shown in fig. 1, the backlight module 100 further includes an adhesive tape 7. The adhesive tape 7 is provided on the third frame 43 and the optical film 6. The adhesive tape 7 is mainly used to prevent the light leakage phenomenon at the gap between the third frame 43 and the optical film 6 in the backlight module 100.
