The present invention relates to a curl testing apparatus, and more particularly, to a curl testing apparatus for testing a double-sided curl configuration of a flexible display.
Background
The flexible display screen has the advantages of thinness, low energy consumption, high durability and the like, and is widely used as electronic screens such as mobile phone screens, computer display screens, full-color television screens and the like. Because the electrical performance and reliability requirements of the flexible display screen body in the curled state are different from those of the horizontal state, when the flexible display screen is subjected to the aging test of the reliability test machine, the flexible display screen body in the horizontal state needs to be tested, and the flexible display screen body in the curled state needs to be tested.
The crimping testing device of prior art is that the one end and the crimping motor of flexible display screen are connected during the test, and the other end and the row's of inserting terminal of lighting the tool of flexible display screen are connected, because the row's of inserting terminal of lighting the tool can't curl. Detailed Description
The terms "first," "second," and the like, as used herein, do not denote any order or importance, nor do they denote any order or importance, but rather are used to distinguish one element from another.
In an embodiment of the present invention, a curling testing apparatus 1 is disclosed, please refer to fig. 1-5, for testing a double-side curling shape of a flexible display 3 with a flexible circuit board 2, wherein one side of the flexible circuit board 2 is electrically connected to one side of the flexible display 3, the curling testing apparatus 1 includes a platform 4, a first curling mechanism 5 and a second curling mechanism 6, wherein:
referring to fig. 1 and 5, the platform 4 has a plane 401, the platform 4 of the present invention is mainly used for supporting the first curling mechanism 5 and the second curling mechanism 6, the platform 3 may be a rectangular box structure, or a supporting structure composed of a horizontal plate and a plurality of supporting rods disposed below the horizontal plate, but not limited thereto, and those skilled in the art may select other suitable platform 4 structures according to actual testing situations.
Referring to fig. 1 and 5, a first curling mechanism 5 is disposed on a plane 401, the first curling mechanism 5 includes a curling unit 501 and a circular probe holder 502, the circular probe holder 502 is connected to the curling unit 501, the circular probe holder 502 holds the other side of the circuit flexible board 2, the circuit flexible board 2 of the prior art is usually plugged into a socket terminal of a lighting fixture, and the socket terminal of the lighting fixture cannot be curled, so that the flexible display 3 of the side cannot be curled.
In a preferred embodiment, referring to fig. 2 and 3, the circular probe holder 502 is a cylindrical structure, and has an opening 5021 for holding the flexible circuit board 2 in the axial direction, a plurality of probes 5022 are disposed in the opening 5021, and the flexible circuit board 2 is connected to the circular probe holder 502 by inserting the plurality of probes 5022, but the structure of the circular probe holder 502 is not limited thereto, and those skilled in the art can select other suitable structures of the circular probe holder 502 according to the teachings of the present invention. The curling unit 501 curls the flexible display 3 forward or backward by curling the circular probe holder 502 forward or backward.
In a preferred embodiment, referring to fig. 1, the curling unit 501 further comprises a first forward and reverse curling servo motor 5011, and there is no special requirement for the selection of the first forward and reverse curling servo motor 5011 in the present invention, and the selection is performed according to the conventional selection in the art. The first forward/reverse rotation curling servo motor 5011 is connected to the circular probe holder 502, and the first forward/reverse rotation curling servo motor 5011 curls the flexible display 3 by driving the circular probe holder 502 to rotate forward or backward, but the curling unit 501 is not limited thereto, and those skilled in the art can select other suitable curling units 501 according to the teachings of the present invention.
In a preferred embodiment, please refer to fig. 1 and 5, the curl testing apparatus 1 further includes a first traverse mechanism 7, the first traverse mechanism 7 is disposed on the plane 401, the first traverse mechanism 7 is connected to the first curl mechanism 5, and the first traverse mechanism 7 is configured to drive the first curl mechanism 5 to reciprocate along the horizontal direction relative to the plane 401. The first transverse moving mechanism 7 is mainly used for driving the first curling mechanism 5 to reciprocate in the horizontal direction, and the structure of the first transverse moving mechanism 7 has no special requirement, and can be selected according to the conventional selection in the field, such as a motor and a ball screw mechanism.
Referring to fig. 1 and 5, the second curling mechanism 6 is disposed on the plane 401, the second curling mechanism 6 is connected to the other side of the flexible display 3, and the second curling mechanism 6 is used for curling the flexible display 3 in a forward direction or a reverse direction. The second curling mechanism 6 disclosed in this embodiment further includes a circular holder 601 and a second forward and reverse rotation curling servo motor 602, the circular holder 601 holds the flexible display screen 3, the second forward and reverse rotation curling servo motor 602 is connected to the circular holder 601, and the second forward and reverse rotation curling servo motor 602 curls the flexible display screen 3 by driving the circular holder 601 to rotate forward or reverse, but the structure of the second curling mechanism 6 is not limited thereto, and those skilled in the art can select other suitable curling mechanisms according to the teachings of the present invention.
In a preferred embodiment, please refer to fig. 1 and 5, the curl testing apparatus 1 further includes a second traverse mechanism 8, the second traverse mechanism 8 is connected to the second curling mechanism 6, and the second traverse mechanism 8 is configured to drive the second curling mechanism 6 to reciprocate along the horizontal direction relative to the plane 401. The second traverse mechanism 8 in the present invention is mainly used for driving the second curling mechanism 6 to reciprocate horizontally, and there is no special requirement for the structure of the second traverse mechanism 8, and it is only required to refer to the conventional selection in the field, such as a motor and a ball screw mechanism.
When the flexible display screen 3 is tested by the curling testing device 1, when the first curling mechanism 5 curls the flexible display screen 3 in the forward direction and the second curling mechanism 6 curls the flexible display screen 3 in the forward direction, the bending test of two sides of the flexible display screen 3 in the forward curling state can be realized, please refer to fig. 5; when the first curling mechanism 5 curls the flexible display screen 3 in the forward direction and the second curling mechanism 6 curls the flexible display screen 3 in the reverse direction, the bending test of the two sides of the flexible display screen 3 in the forward and reverse curling states can be realized; when the first curling mechanism 5 reversely curls the flexible display screen 3 and the second curling mechanism 6 reversely curls the flexible display screen 3, the bending test of the two sides of the flexible display screen 3 in a reverse curling state can be realized; when the first curling mechanism 5 curls the flexible display screen 3 reversely, and the second curling mechanism 6 curls the flexible display screen 3 forwardly, the bending test of the flexible display screen 3 in a state that two sides are curled reversely and forwardly can be realized.
In a preferred embodiment, referring to fig. 2, the curl test apparatus 1 further includes a lighting fixture module 9, the lighting fixture module 9 is connected to the circuit flexible board 2 through the circular probe holder 502, and the lighting fixture module 9 lights the flexible display screen 3 through the circular probe holder 502 and the circuit flexible board 2. In another preferred embodiment, the lighting fixture module 9 further includes a signal line 901 and a signal controller 902, one end of the signal line 901 passes through the side surface of the first circular holder and is connected to the circuit soft board 2 through a plurality of probes 5022, the signal controller 902 is connected to the other end of the signal line 901, the signal controller 902 turns on a signal to the flexible display 3 through the signal line 901 and the circuit soft board 2 to light the flexible display 3, so as to test the flexible display 3, and the signal may be an image or an animation, but not limited thereto. In a possible design, please refer to fig. 1 and 5, the curl testing apparatus 1 further includes a control unit 10, the control unit 10 is electrically connected to the first curling mechanism 5 and the second curling mechanism 6, the control unit 10 is configured to control the first curling mechanism 5 and the second curling mechanism 6 to curl forward or backward, and a circuit for controlling the first curling mechanism 5 and the second curling mechanism 6 by the control unit 10 is not a protection scope of the present application and therefore is not described herein again.

Claims (9)

1. A curl testing device for testing a double-sided curl configuration of a flexible display screen having a flexible circuit board, one side of the flexible circuit board being connected to one side of the flexible display screen, the curl testing device comprising:
a platform having a plane;
the first curling mechanism is arranged on the plane and comprises a curling unit and a circular probe holder, the circular probe holder is connected with the curling unit, the circular probe holder is connected with the other side of the circuit soft board, and the curling unit curls the flexible display screen forwards or backwards by curling the circular probe holder forwards or backwards; and
the second curling mechanism is arranged on the plane and connected with the other side of the flexible display screen, and the second curling mechanism is used for curling the flexible display screen in a forward direction or a reverse direction;
wherein when the first curling mechanism curls the flexible display screen in the forward direction, the second curling mechanism can curl the flexible display screen in the forward direction or curl the flexible display screen in the reverse direction; when the first curling mechanism curls the flexible display screen reversely, the second curling mechanism can curl the flexible display screen forwardly or curl the flexible display screen reversely.
2. The curl test apparatus of claim 1, wherein the circular probe holder has a cylindrical configuration and is axially provided with an opening for holding the flexible circuit board, the opening having a plurality of probes therein, the flexible circuit board being connected to the circular probe holder by inserting the plurality of probes.
3. The curl test device of claim 1, wherein the curl unit further comprises:
