Description

Exchangeably mounted accumulator
Technical Field
The invention relates to an exchangeably mounted battery for an electric household appliance, having a first and a second end side, a top side and a bottom side and two side faces, wherein preferably a plurality of electrical line contacts are provided on the first end side.
Background
An exchangeable battery is known, for example, from DE 10 2012 1080 a 652.
Disclosure of Invention
With regard to the known storage batteries, a more advantageous operability, in particular a more advantageous fixability in the domestic appliance, is desired. The object of the invention is to provide a replaceable battery for an electric household appliance, which is advantageously operable, in particular can be advantageously installed in the electric household appliance and removed again.
This object is achieved firstly and substantially in the subject matter according to the invention in that a locking cam which can be pressed in against the spring force is provided which projects from at least one side.
On the one hand, it is thus achieved that the battery can be mounted in a simple manner, wherein the locking cam can be displaced in a smooth manner, in particular elastically without any special actuation of the locking cam. On the other hand, a secure, in particular form-locking, retention of the battery in the household appliance can be achieved. With regard to possible removal, the action on the locking cam can be provided for retraction (or so-called pullback).
Drawings
Reference is also made to the following embodiments of the examples for additional details. Here:
fig. 1 shows a general view of an electric vacuum cleaner operated by means of an accumulator;
figure 2 shows a representation of the vacuum cleaner according to figure 1 with the sole plate removed and the batteries removed;
fig. 3 shows an enlarged single view of the accumulator as seen from the end side provided with the handle;
fig. 4 shows a view of the battery installed in the receptacle in the locked position, with the open end side;
fig. 5 shows the illustration according to fig. 4, however with the handle in the upwardly pivoted position and the locking cam in the respective unlocking position.
Detailed Description
A design of an accumulator 2 for operating an electric motor-operated domestic appliance, here in the form of a vacuum cleaner 1, is shown and described, see fig. 1.
As can also be seen from fig. 2, the battery 2 is preferably accommodated in the household appliance during operation, in this case in the receptacle 3 of the vacuum cleaner 1. This accommodation is secured by a locking cam 4 on the battery 2.
In further detail, the battery 2 has a top side 5, a bottom side 6, a first side 7, a second side 8, and a first end side 9 and a second end side 10.
The locking cam 4, which can be pressed in against the spring force, projects on at least one first side 7 and one second side 8. In the exemplary embodiment and preferably, one locking cam 4 on each of the two opposite first and second flanks 7, 8 projects in opposite directions beyond the respective first and second flank 7, 8.
The locking cam 4, or in this embodiment both locking cams 4, can be retracted on the accumulator by means of an active member, which in this embodiment and at the same time is preferably a handle 11. As a result, the locking cam 4 is moved in the direction of the interior of the battery, preferably to such an extent that the region of the locking cam 4 no longer projects beyond the respective first side 7, second side 8.
The mentioned handle 11 is pivotably arranged in the second end side 10. A line contact, not shown separately, is preferably arranged in the first end side 9.
As can be seen with reference to fig. 4 and 5, the handle 11 has a pulling section (or pulling section) 12 or in this embodiment two pulling sections 12. By means of the pull section 12, the locking cam 4 or the locking cams 4 are moved relative to the first side 7 and the second side 8, respectively, from the protruding position according to fig. 4 into the retracted position according to fig. 5.
In this exemplary embodiment and preferably, the handle 11 is designed in one piece with the pulling section 12. Preferably, the retraction of the locking cams 4, that is to say in the opposite direction in this embodiment, that is to say in the manner of a movement toward one another, can be effected by the pulling section 12 by rotating the pulling elements 12 about the longitudinal axis a of the pulling elements 12 in each case.
In this embodiment, the rotation is effected by pivoting the handle 11, i.e. from the position according to fig. 4 to the position according to fig. 5. This enables particularly simple operability. The user need only grasp the handle 11 and, if necessary, even only with the fingers. The pivoting of the handle 11 takes place under a certain force and at the same time the battery 2 can be unlocked without further manipulation by retracting the locking cam 4 in the position of the battery 2 locked in the receptacle.
In a further detail, a cam 13 is formed on the pulling portion 12, which cam 13 interacts with at least a first inclined surface 14, which is preferably arranged inside the battery 2 and is fixed relative to the housing. The first inclined surface 14 may extend, in a front view according to fig. 4 or 5, in which a longitudinal central axis extending from the second end side 10 to the first end side 9 is point-shaped, at an acute angle to the longitudinal axis a of the respective pulling section 12. However, this oblique course can also be realized with the same functionality in an oblique plane which, in the mentioned plan view, in which the longitudinal axis is linear, extends again at an acute angle to the longitudinal axis a of the respective pulling section 12.
Furthermore, a corresponding intermediate position can also be obtained, viewed in the peripheral direction of the respective traction segment 12. The first inclined surface 14 does not necessarily have to extend linearly in the respective views, but it may also extend curvedly according to a spiral surface.
That is to say, by rotating the pulling portion 12, a movement away from the respective first side 7, second side 8 and towards the opposite second side 8, first side 7 is achieved, at the same time as the presetting of the first inclined surface 14. The cam 13 and the first inclined surface 14 can also be a link guide (kulissenff ü hrung) which, depending on the inclination position, leads to a movement of the respective pulling section in the direction of its longitudinal axis a.
In this embodiment and preferablyThe handle 11 may be a continuous, at least partially resilient, and similarly curved part
Figure GDA0003786226620000031
The extension of (a). It may be a hard plastic part or it may also be a metal part.
As can be seen from a comparison of fig. 4 and 5, pivoting of the handle 11 results on the one hand in a rotation of the respective pulling portion 12 and thus preferably also of the integrally formed locking cam 4 and on the other hand in a retraction of the locking cam 4 with respect to the respective first side 7 and second side 8.
Since the mentioned traction segments 12 are moved toward one another during the pivoting of the handle 11, an elastic pretension is obtained in the first bow leg (B ü gelschenkeln) 16, the second bow leg 17, which transitions into a bow crosspiece (B ü gelsteg) 18, which preferably serves as a control element, in the described one-piece construction, in particular. If necessary, a certain bending and thus an additional elastic pretension in the bow 18 is also obtained. This elastic pretension, when the handle 11 is released, can automatically bring about a pivoting back of the handle 11 and thus also a projection of the locking cam 4, again using the described link guide.
As can be seen and preferably, the above-mentioned cam 13 is in this exemplary embodiment immediately provided by a first bow leg 16, a second bow leg 17, which respectively interacts with a first inclined surface 14 fixed relative to the housing.
The design described also makes it possible to mount the battery in the receptacle without the need for a pivoting handle, since the locking cam 4 can also be moved by external co-compression due to the displaceability of the traction portion according to its respective longitudinal axis a. The movability from the outside is also supported by the mentioned second inclined surface 15 if necessary. It is thus also possible to secure the battery in the household appliance, for example in the vacuum cleaner, without the handle having to be pivoted or actively actuated. On the contrary, on the basis of the second inclined surface 15 already described, it can be ensured that the removal of the accumulator from the appliance (for example, preferably also) can only be achieved by pivoting the handle. At that time, the rear side of the second inclined surface 15 can (only) act in the pull-out direction of the battery 2, which can be designed such that the locking cam 4, which interacts with the receptacle in the housing, cannot be brought into the retracted position without a direct action on the locking cam 4 by the user (in the exemplary embodiment by pivoting the handle 11).
