Abstract
The invention provides a high-strength low-flash polyphenylene sulfide composite material, which comprises 20-90 wt% of linear polyphenylene sulfide, 2-20 wt% of cross-linked polyphenylene sulfide, 10-50 wt% of glass fiber, 0.5-3 wt% of flash inhibitor, 2-6 wt% of nucleating agent, 0.1-2 wt% of release agent and 0.3-5 wt% of processing aid.

The technical field is as follows:

Background art:
polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) has many unique properties due to its molecular structural specificity, which are mainly reflected in: excellent thermal stability, chemical stability, dimensional stability, corrosion resistance, excellent physical and mechanical properties of electrical property, good adhesive property, excellent flame retardance, good electrical property and capability of blending modification. The method has wide application in automobile manufacturing, electronics and electrics, chemical industry, instrument and aerospace industry and the like.
However, due to the existence of a large number of benzene rings on the PPS main chain, the rigidity of the material is increased, so that the unmodified polyphenylene sulfide material has larger brittleness and poorer mechanical properties, and the application of the material is greatly limited. The mechanical properties of polyphenylene sulfide can be improved by modifying it with glass fibers or inorganic mineral fillers.
The easy formation of flash during injection molding is a problem in the processing of polyphenylene sulfide, and it is good in fluidity, and occurs when molten polyphenylene sulfide polymer flows into a mold or into fine gaps or gaps between parts of the mold during injection molding. After the molded part is removed from the mold, the part must be trimmed or otherwise cleaned to remove flash from the part. This process is time consuming and laborious and therefore adversely affects the forming process, and often the appearance of the part. Therefore, a method is desired to reduce the tendency of the polyphenylene sulfide composite to flash during injection molding.
Chinese patent CN107189438A discloses an antibacterial low-warpage low-flash PPS composite material and a preparation method thereof, wherein an amorphous resin polyphenylene oxide material is introduced into the composite material, so that the flowability of the material is reduced, and the possibility of flash generation is reduced. The method has the defects of material compatibility, difficult processing and the like.
Chinese patent No. 102481714a discloses a method for producing an injection-molded article by injection-molding a polyphenylene sulfide resin composition at a mold temperature of 100 ℃ or lower using a mold having a heat-insulating layer of polyimide resin. The amount of burrs generated during the production of a molded article can be suppressed, and a molded article having high crystallinity can be obtained. The present invention has certain limitations.

the invention aims to provide a polyphenylene sulfide composite material with high strength, low flash and quick crystallinity by modifying a polyphenylene sulfide material aiming at the defects in the prior art.
The technical scheme adopted by the invention is as follows: a polyphenylene sulfide composite material with high strength and low flash is prepared from the following components in percentage by weight:
20-90% of linear polyphenylene sulfide;
2-20% of cross-linked polyphenylene sulfide;
10-50% of glass fiber;
0.5-3% of a flash inhibitor;
1-5% of a nucleating agent;
0.2-2% of a release agent;
0.3-5% of processing aid.
Further, the melt flow rate of the linear polyphenylene sulfide resin is 200-500g/10min, and the test conditions are 316 ℃ and 5 kg.
Further, the melt flow rate of the crosslinking type polyphenylene sulfide resin is 10-100g/10min, and the test conditions are 316 ℃ and 5 kg. The crosslinked polyphenylene sulfide can be obtained by crosslinking linear polyphenylene sulfide resin at 200-280 ℃ for 0.1-2 hours in the presence of oxygen.
Furthermore, the glass fiber is chopped alkali-free glass fiber, and the diameter of each monofilament is 7-15 um. The surface of the glass fiber may be treated with a coupling agent.
Further, the flying inhibitor is maleimide.
Further, the release agent is polyethylene wax, the acidity value of the release agent is 70-100 mgKOH/g, and the dropping point is 60-90 ℃.

The method for preparing the polyphenylene sulfide composite material having high strength and low flash according to the present invention is not particularly limited, and the rapidly-crystallized polyphenylene sulfide composite material of the present invention can be prepared by kneading with a kneading machine such as an extruder (single-screw or twin-screw extruder), a hot roll, a kneader, a mixer, etc., among which, from the viewpoint of production efficiency, it is preferable to prepare a blend with a single-screw or twin-screw extruder, and the extrusion temperature is usually 280-. The order in which the individual components of the invention are mixed is generally not critical and can be determined by one of ordinary skill in the art.
The invention has the following beneficial effects: the polyphenylene sulfide composite material with high strength and low flash provided by the invention has the advantages of good mechanical property, small flash property, short molding period and the like, and can be widely applied to parts of automobiles, electronic and electric appliances, machinery and the like.

The compounds prepared in the examples were injection molded in standard sizes into test bars, and the physical properties in the examples were respectively tested according to the International Standard (ISO).
Evaluation of flash length:
the flash was formed at the end of the sample piece by injection molding using a 80X10X4mm sample piece, the length of the flash was compared with a digital magnifier, the flash length of 5 samples was measured, and the average flash length was taken as the flash length.
And (3) testing the crystallization temperature:
the crystallization temperature of the polyphenylene sulfide composite material is tested by Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), and a sample is firstly heated to 310 ℃, kept at the constant temperature for 3 minutes and then cooled to 50 ℃ at the speed of 10 ℃/min.
The invention is verified by the following examples:
linear polyphenylene sulfide (PPS): GACO5 melt flow rate of 370g/10min, Chongqing poly lion new material;
crosslinking type polyphenylene sulfide: the melt flow rate is 50g/10 min;
maleimide: is sold on the market;
glass fiber ECS309A, production of international composite new material for Chongqing;
nucleating agent 1: the talcum powder and dibutyl adipate are mixed according to the weight ratio of 2: 1 in proportion;
nucleating agent 2: boron nitride and dibutyl adipate were mixed according to a ratio of 2: 1 in proportion;
releasing agent: polyethylene wax Licolub CE 2;
coupling agent: KH 560.
