The invention also relates to a drawer.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a panel bracket for fixing a front panel to a side frame of a drawer according to the preamble of claim 1, and a drawer.
Background
A generic panel carrier is known, for example, from DE 102010060720 a 1. Such panel brackets are used to adjustably secure the front panel to the side frames of the drawer. Due to unavoidable tolerances in production, adjustments to the front panel are often required.
For the adjustment of the front panel, the above-mentioned prior art height-adjusting eccentric is used, as well as a lateral-adjusting screw, which can be adjusted with a screwdriver.
Since the adjustment of the front panel is also performed by non-experts, damage or destruction of the mechanism may occur due to over-tightening of the side adjustment screw or the height adjustment eccentric.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to further develop a panel holder and drawer of the generic type to prevent such damage due to excessive twisting.
This object is solved by a panel bracket for fixing a front panel to a side frame having the features of claim 1 and a drawer having the features of claim 10.
The panel bracket for fixing a front panel to a side frame of a drawer according to the present invention has: a bracket portion which can be fixed to the front panel; and a one-part or multi-part base part which can be mounted on the side frame and which surrounds the carrier part and has two side wings which are at least partially aligned parallel to one another; and a first adjusting element for adjusting the front panel.
The first adjusting element is designed as an adjusting pin which is frictionally surrounded by a helical spring, wherein the adjusting pin advantageously extends through the passage opening in the base part and a threaded hole in the carrier part, wherein the helical spring engages with a thread of the threaded hole in the carrier part.
The use of an adjustment pin together with a helical spring surrounding the pin makes it easy to adjust the front panel. By means of the adjusting element designed in this way, damage due to over-tightening of the adjusting element is effectively prevented, since when the end position is reached, the helical spring slides on the adjusting pin, i.e. it disengages the frictional connection on the adjusting pin, so that a safe, non-destructive over-tightening protection is achieved.
It is also advantageous if, when the adjusting element is actuated in opposite rotational directions, the helical spring respectively co-rotates in engagement with the adjusting pin and, when the end position is reached, the helical spring respectively slides on the adjusting pin.
Advantageous embodiment variants of the invention are the subject matter of the dependent claims.
According to an advantageous embodiment variant, the first adjusting element is designed as a lateral adjusting element for adjusting the front panel in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the regions of the side wings aligned parallel with respect to each other.
In this case, the carrier part can be moved by means of the first adjusting element in a coupling region between the flanks of the base part, which is surrounded by the base part.
According to another embodiment variant, the adjusting pin extends through a passage opening in the side wing of the base part, which makes the panel holder easy to assemble.
According to another embodiment variant, the adjusting pin has a multi-part design, in particular a two-part design, which makes it easier for the helical spring to slide onto the adjusting pin.
According to another embodiment variant, the adjusting pin has: a first pin portion including a flange and a first pin portion of a neck member extending from the flange; and a second pin portion comprising a flange and a neck member extending from said flange of said second pin portion, wherein free ends of the neck members are pressed into each other, which enables an easy and cost-effective manufacture of the adjustment pin.
According to a preferred embodiment variant, the free ends of the helical springs rest under pretension against the mutually facing inner sides of the flanges. This makes it easy to adjust the spring pretension by adjusting the length of the helical spring.
According to another embodiment variant, at least one ramp or step is formed on the mutually facing inner sides of the flanges, on which at least one ramp or step the free end of the helical spring can be supported up to a predetermined torque. Such a ramp or step generates a noise or a slight vibration when the helical spring is rotated beyond the respective end position by the rotation pin portion during adjustment, thereby providing the user with an audible or sometimes even tactile feedback that the end position has been reached.
For easy handling of the first adjustment element, a tool holder, for example in the form of a cross groove, is preferably provided on the outer sides of the flanges remote from one another.
The drawer according to the present invention is characterized by the above-described panel bracket with which the front panel of the drawer is fixed to the side frame.

Detailed Description
In the description of the following figures, terms such as top, bottom, left, right, front, rear, etc. refer only to exemplary representations and locations of panel brackets, drawers, front panels, adjustment elements, bracket portions, base portions, etc. selected in the figures. These terms should not be construed in a limiting manner, i.e., these references may vary for different operating positions or mirror-symmetrical designs, etc.
In fig. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a piece of furniture having a plurality of drawers 2 that can be pulled out from a furniture body, each of the drawers 2 having a drawer bottom and side frames 4 and a front panel 3 fixed to the side frames 4.
The panel bracket 5 shown in fig. 2 is used to fix the front panel 3 to the side frame 4 of the corresponding drawer 2. Two such panel brackets 5 are arranged on each of the side frames 4 according to the size or height of the front panel.
In the embodiment variant shown here, each of the side frames 4 has a frame adapter 42, which frame adapter 42 is accommodated in the frame bushing 41 and attached thereto. The frame adapter 42 is used to mount the panel bracket(s) 5 as shown in fig. 2.
Fig. 3 to 8 show details of a specific embodiment variant of the panel holder 5.
As shown in fig. 3 to 5, the panel bracket 5 has a bracket portion 7 that can be attached to the front panel 3 and a base portion 6 that can be mounted on the side frame 4. The base part 6 has two side wings 61, 62 which are at least partially parallel to each other.
A central web 66 connects the two flanks 61, 62 at their ends close to the bracket portion 7. In the embodiment example, the bracket portion 7 is surrounded by the base portion 6 in the mounted state in a U-shape. The base part may also be composed of a plurality of parts, for example of two parts, and be formed by plates which are connected to one another by connecting elements.
In the region of the ends of the flanks 61, 62 remote from the central web 66, these flanks are connected to one another by pins 10, which pins 10 are clamped behind as abutments by locking hooks (not shown) of a locking unit of the frame adapter 42.
As shown in fig. 3 to 5, 7 and 8 below, the panel bracket 5 also has a first adjustment member 8 for adjusting the front panel 3.
The first adjustment element 8 has an adjustment pin surrounded by a helical spring 83, which extends through the passage opening 63 in the base part 6 and the threaded hole 73 in the holder part 7.
The coil spring 83 engages with the thread 74 of the threaded hole 73 of the holder portion 7, as shown in fig. 7 and 8.
The first adjusting element 8, which is designed as a lateral adjusting element, serves to displace the carrier part 7 in a coupling region 72 of the carrier part 7 between the side wings 61, 62 of the base part 6, which coupling region 72 is surrounded by the base part 6. In this case, the passage openings 63 of the base part 6 are provided in both flanks 61, 62, as can be seen, for example, in fig. 4 and 5.
As shown in fig. 4 and 5, the adjusting pin is preferably designed in several parts, in particular in two parts.
Adjustment pin has a first pin portion 81 including a flange 811 and a neck 812 extending therefrom and a second pin portion 82 including a flange 821 and a neck 822 extending therefrom. The free ends of the neck members 812, 822 are preferably pressed into one another.
The neck part 812 is preferably in the form of a cylindrical sleeve, while the neck part 822 is preferably correspondingly designed as a pin which can be inserted into the sleeve-like neck part 812 of the first pin portion 81.
The neck part 812 of the first dowel part 81 is surrounded in the mounted state by a helical spring 83, the free end of which helical spring 83 rests under pretension on the facing inner sides of the flanges 811, 821. This means that by rotating the first adjustment member 8, the helical spring 83 is also rotated due to friction. The rotational movement of the helical spring 83 which engages the thread 74 in the threaded hole 73 of the bracket portion 7 causes the bracket portion 7 to be axially biased into the neck part 812 of the first pin portion 81, thereby laterally biasing the front panel 3. The base portion 6 is arranged on the frame adapter 42 without too much lateral clearance.
As shown in fig. 3 to 5, the bracket portion 7 has two head parts 71 separated from each other by a coupling region 72. The corresponding receiving holes 75 are for receiving screws or bolts for fixing the bracket portion 7 to the inside of the front panel 3 of the drawer 2. The width of the head part 71 in the lateral adjustment direction is greater than the width of the coupling region 72. The lower side of the upper head 71 or the upper side of the lower head 71 preferably additionally serves as a guide surface for the base part 6.
In the particular embodiment variant shown in fig. 6, at least one ramp 813, 823 or step is formed on the mutually facing inner sides of the flanges 811, 821, on which at least one ramp 813, 823 or step the free end of the helical spring 83 can be supported up to a predetermined torque.
By means of such a slope or step, it is possible to detect, by tactile sensation or by noise, when adjusting the front panel 3 by turning the first adjusting element 8, an over-tightening of the helical spring 83 after reaching the end position of the bracket portion 7 between the flanks 61, 62 of the base portion 6, the helical spring 83 sliding at the respective flange 811, 821 of the first adjusting element 8 as a result of a further turning movement of the first adjusting element 8 after reaching the end position.
By rotating the first adjustment element 8 in the opposite direction, a subsequent adjustment of the front panel 3 in the opposite direction of displacement can be carried out equally easily. The helical spring 83 is again turned by the adjusting pin and, after reaching the corresponding end position, is disengaged from the ramp or step in the same way.
In an alternative embodiment variant without such a ramp or step, the adjustment pin continues to rotate without further rotation of the helical spring 83, in which case its free end slides along the inside of the respective flange 811, 821.
For easy rotational actuation of the adjusting pin, the tool holders 815, 825 are preferably designed in the form of cross slots on the outer sides of the flanges 811, 821 remote from one another.
As shown in particular in fig. 6, the flanges 811, 821 are preferably formed on their inner side with a radially tapering shoulder 824, on which shoulder 824 a ramp 813, 823 or a step is also formed, and the circumference of the shoulder 824 which is placed on the inner circumference of the passage opening 63 of the base part 6 constitutes an axial guide for the first adjusting element 8.
In addition to the first adjusting element 8, which first adjusting element 8 is designed in the embodiment variant shown here as a lateral adjusting element for adjusting the front panel 3 in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the regions of the flanks 61, 62 aligned parallel to one another, it is also conceivable to provide a second adjusting element 9 for adjusting the front panel 3 in a further adjustment direction.
The second adjusting element 9 shown in fig. 3 to 5 is designed here as an adjusting eccentric for adjusting the front panel 3 in a direction parallel to the longitudinal extension of the carrier part 7.
In addition to the use of such a first adjusting element 8 for lateral adjustment of the front panel 3, it is also conceivable to use such an adjusting pin surrounded by a helical spring for height adjustment or tilt adjustment.
