Detailed Description
Hereinafter, example embodiments according to the present application will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. It should be understood that the described embodiments are only some embodiments of the present application and not all embodiments of the present application, and that the present application is not limited by the example embodiments described herein.
Summary of the application
As described above, the common bilingual layout methods include top-bottom layout, left-right layout, and full-page alternate layout.
The upper and lower typesetting mode refers to that a section of text in the language A is followed by a section of text in the language B on a single page, and the A/B languages are typeset up and down in a staggered manner. This approach allows for a mix of two languages that, while cross-referenced, are not fluent in reading.
The left-right typesetting means that a page is divided into left and right parts, the left half part is text in the language A, and the right half part is text in the language B. This approach can be cross-referenced, but the content of the comparison is far and not easily located, and the content of the single page is too little. In addition, for the current user, the mobile phone and the like are often used to the vertical screen rather than the horizontal screen, so that the left and right typesetting is not consistent with the use habit of the user.
The whole page alternate typesetting means that the single number pages are the text of the language A and the even number pages are the text of the language B, and alternate display is performed. This approach, while ensuring single page content enrichment, is not conducive to multi-language comparisons.
In view of the above technical problem, the basic idea of the present application is to simultaneously display bilingual contents in divided regions on a display page in a slidable second language display region in response to a sliding operation of a user on the basis of a full page layout.
Specifically, the application provides a display control method, a display control device, a terminal device and an electronic device, which firstly display a first content in a first language on a display page, then receive a first sliding input of a user, and in response to the first sliding input of the user, display a second content in a second language on a first area of the display page, wherein the second content corresponds to a first part of the first content in the first area, and finally display a second part of the first content on a second area outside the first area on the display page. Therefore, the user can compare the bilingual contents in the first area and the second area through sliding operation, and convenience of bilingual comparison is improved while the single page content is ensured to be full.
Here, those skilled in the art can understand that the display control method of the present application can be applied to reading-type applications in various electronic devices. The user's slide input is not limited to a touch slide input by the user on a mobile terminal having a touch screen, and may also include a gesture-like hover slide operation, for example, a hover gesture operation for a large-screen television. Further, the slide input by the user may be a slide input operation by other input devices such as a keyboard, a mouse, a trackball, and the like.
Having described the general principles of the present application, various non-limiting embodiments of the present application will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Exemplary method
Fig. 1 illustrates a flowchart of a display control method according to an embodiment of the present application.
As shown in fig. 1, a display control method according to an embodiment of the present application includes: s110, displaying first content of a first language on a display page; s120, receiving a first sliding input of a user; s130, responding to a first sliding input of a user, displaying second content of a second language in a first area of the display page, wherein the second content corresponds to a first part of the first content in the first area; and S140, displaying a second portion of the first content in a second area on the display page other than the first area.
Fig. 2 illustrates a schematic diagram of a first display example of a display control method according to the present application. As shown in fig. 2, in the initial state, only the first content in the first language, i.e., a content, is displayed on the display page. Subsequently, after receiving a first slide input operation S of a user, in response to the first slide input operation S, second content B1 in a second language is displayed in a first area of the display page, wherein B1 corresponds to first part a1 content of the first speech previously displayed in the first area. Meanwhile, a second part A2 content in the first language is displayed in a second area of the display page other than the first area.
Of course, those skilled in the art will appreciate that the content B1 does not necessarily correspond exactly to the content a1 based on differences in chinese and english typesetting, word count, etc., that is, the content B1 is not necessarily a complete translation of the content a1 from the first language to the second language, and may be more or less than the complete corresponding translation.
In addition, in another example, the second part a2 content is not limited to correspond exactly to what the first content a was displayed in the second area before. That is, the second part a2 content may change for a specific case with respect to the previously displayed a content after the user's slide input operation. For example, to further facilitate user cross-referencing bilingual content within a single page, the a2 content may correspond to content B1.
Pictorially, in one example, with the sliding operation, the user sees the B1 content displaying the second language, while the originally displayed a content is obscured by the B1 content, leaving the a2 content uncovered. In yet another example, with a sliding operation, the user sees the B1 content displaying the second language while the originally displayed a content is pushed by the B1 content, so that the content originally displayed in the area obscured by the B1 content is moved to the area not obscured by the B1 content, displayed as a2 content.
Fig. 3 illustrates a schematic diagram of a second display example of the display control method according to the present application. As shown in fig. 3, as the slide input operation S by the user continues, the area of the region displaying the content in the second language on the display page increases, while the area of the region displaying the content in the first language decreases. Also, similar to the previous description with respect to fig. 2, the content B2 corresponds to the third partial content A3 in the region of the previous first language, while the fourth partial content a4 in the first language is displayed in the remaining region.
That is, in the display control method according to the embodiment of the present application, further comprising: detecting whether the first sliding input meets a preset condition; in response to the first sliding input meeting a predetermined condition, displaying third content in the second language in a third region of the display page, the third content corresponding to a third portion of the first content within the third region, and the area of the third region being greater than the area of the first region; and displaying a fourth part of the first content in a fourth area outside the third area on the display page.
Here, as can be understood by those skilled in the art, as shown in fig. 2 and 3, as the area of the region where the content of the second language is displayed increases by the sliding input operation S of the user, the displayed content B2 is more than the previously displayed content B1, and thus, the third content may contain the entire content of the second content.
Also, in the display control method according to the embodiment of the present application, the predetermined condition is at least one of: the input time of the first sliding input is greater than a time threshold; a speed of the first sliding input is greater than a speed threshold; and the sliding distance of the first sliding input is greater than a distance threshold.
In essence, the first sliding input of the user is a continuous operation, and in the embodiment of the present application, the content of the second language, which the user wants to display a large area, may be determined by judging various parameters such as time, speed and distance of the continuous operation.
Also, although the above-described processes are illustrated as discrete processes in fig. 2 and 3, those skilled in the art will appreciate that the display process is actually a continuous process. That is, as the first sliding input by the user progresses, for example, the user continues to slide from the upper portion to the lower portion of the page, the display of the content in the second language exhibits a gradual expansion effect.
In addition, in the display control method according to the embodiment of the present application, after the first input operation by the user is ended, for example, when the finger of the user performing the slide input on the touch screen leaves the touch screen, the display state before the finger of the user leaves the touch screen may be maintained, and the initial state before the slide input operation by the user may also be restored.
That is, in the display control method according to the embodiment of the present application, further comprising: detecting whether the first sliding input is terminated; and in response to termination of the first swipe input, maintaining display of the first content and the second content or the third content on the display page. Thus, even if the user stops the slide input operation, the display of the bilingual content can be maintained on the screen, thereby improving the user's convenience.
Furthermore, in the display control method according to the embodiment of the present application, further comprising: detecting whether the first sliding input is terminated; and resuming display of the first content on the display page in response to termination of the first swipe input. In this way, when the user stops the slide input operation, the displayed content on the display page may be restored to the first content in the first language initially displayed, thereby facilitating the user to continue reading the first content or to perform other operations such as marking, copying, and the like, in some cases.
Fig. 4 illustrates a schematic diagram of a third display example of the display control method according to the present application. As shown in FIG. 4, in one example, a page turn operation is automatically implemented when the display of the content in the second language extends over the entire display page area. Of course, it can be understood by those skilled in the art that, in the embodiment of the present application, it may also be determined whether the first sliding input operation of the user continues after the B content of the second language is displayed on the whole display page. For example, if it is detected that the user's top-down sliding operation continues after the B content fills the display page, a page turning operation is performed, for example, the a' content is displayed, as shown in fig. 4. Therefore, the display control method can realize convenient page turning operation.
Therefore, in the display control method according to the embodiment of the present application, the method further includes: detecting whether the third area overlaps with the display page; and displaying fourth content in the first language on the display page at least in response to the third region overlapping the display page, the fourth content corresponding to a next page of content of the first content.
That is, in fact, in the display page, in addition to the portion displaying the first content in the first language, there is a blank portion around the first content, for example, a footer portion well known to those skilled in the art. In this section, the first content is not actually displayed, but remains blank. Therefore, in the display control method according to the embodiment of the present application, detecting whether the third area overlaps with the display page includes detecting that the third area has completely included a portion displaying the first content and extended into, for example, the footer portion. In this case, the display control method according to the embodiment of the present application is substantially configured to display all the content of the first content corresponding to the second language, for example, an english translation of a chinese portion displayed in a page, when the third region completely overlaps with the portion of the display page in which the first content is displayed, and to perform a page-turning operation when the third region further extends to a blank portion outside the first content and overlaps with the display page based on the first slide input.
Further, in the display control method according to the embodiment of the present application, the display area of the content in the second language may be narrowed down according to a different slide input operation by the user, for example, a second slide input in an opposite direction to the first slide input.
Fig. 5 illustrates a schematic diagram of a fourth display example of the display control method according to the present application. As shown in fig. 5, as a second slide input different from the first slide input, for example, a second slide input T from bottom to top is received, fifth content B3 is displayed in a fifth area of the display page, and the fifth content B3 corresponds to a fifth portion a5 of the first content, and a sixth portion a6 of the first content is displayed in a sixth area outside the fifth area of the display page.
That is, in the display control method according to the embodiment of the present application, further comprising: receiving a second slide input different from the first slide input; displaying fifth content in a fifth region of the display page in response to the second slide input, the fifth content corresponding to a fifth portion of the first content within the fifth region, and the area of the fifth region being smaller than the area of the third region; and displaying a sixth portion of the first content in a sixth area on the display page outside of the fifth area.
Intuitively speaking, the display control method according to the embodiment of the present application may allow a user to control the presentation of the first content in the first language and the second content in the second language to be compared through a sliding operation, for example, a sliding operation up and down on the display screen, thereby improving the user experience during the comparative reading of the bilingual content.
Therefore, when applied to a terminal device such as a mobile phone, since the size of a screen is generally rectangular, the direction of the slide input operation may be set to coincide with the length direction of the screen, i.e., the display page, for convenience of use.
Of course, it can be understood by those skilled in the art that in the display control method according to the embodiment of the present application, the direction of the first slide input operation may be various directions, and may also be a width direction, a diagonal direction, and the like, in addition to the length direction of the display page. Moreover, the presentation of the content in the second language may be in a left-right direction, a diagonal direction, or the like. Further, it is not limited that the presentation direction of the content in the second language coincides with the operation direction of the slide input.
Fig. 6 illustrates a schematic diagram of an application example of a display control method according to the present application. As shown in fig. 6, the content of the first page a language is presented first, and then the B language presentation content is presented as the finger slides. And then, as the finger continues to slide, more B language display contents are presented until the content of the next page A language is turned over after the finger slides to the bottom.
