Description

Cat litter inducer containing plant components
Technical Field
The invention relates to a cat litter inducer containing plant components.
Background
At present, the domestic pet market is rapidly developed, more and more cat-keeping people are available, and cat litter is one of necessities in the process of cat keeping. Cats are small carnivores, which are not domesticated completely for a shorter time than dogs, and naturally have a habit of using cat litter, which is used in a field environment to hide the taste of excreta and prevent the cat litter from being discovered and ingested by large animals. The cat litter is used for raising cats at home, so that the odor of excrement can be well shielded, and the air environment of pet raising home is improved.
For a new cat-raising person, the cat can adapt to a new environment quickly and learn to use the cat litter, so that the trouble of cat raising can be reduced. For cats with special periods, such as: in estrus, after operation, old people and the like, people often defecate randomly at any place in the home, and people who feed cats can also be worried.
At present, no relevant cat litter inducer products exist in China. The product of selling in the market at present is cat driving-away agent, and after the random defecation appears in the cat, adopt some sprays to produce the unpleasant smell of cat, make the cat not arrange the defecation in somewhere like this, can lead to, the cat hides and arranges the defecation in very hidden place, makes the people who raises the cat clear up more inconveniently, in the long run, can lead to the relation between people and the cat of raising the cat to worsen, increases the risk that the cat was abandoned.
The life habit and the defecation rule of the cat are observed, and it is speculated that certain plants with special odor can enable the cat to feel safe, so that the cat can defecate in a relaxed state under the environment, and the cat is willing to plane, dig, bury and the like, so that the cat can be better treated. At present, a small amount of similar products exist abroad, but chemical preparations and pheromone hormones are taken as main materials, and the existing plant cat litter inducer can only be used for bentonite cat litter and has unstable effect, so that the problems can not be solved basically.
Disclosure of Invention
Aiming at the defects in the prior art, the invention provides the cat litter inducer which has stable and lasting effect and can be suitable for various cat litters such as wooden cat litters, bentonite cat litters and the like. The cat litter inducer can be directly added into common commercially available cat litter for use; can also be used as a component in the formula of the cat litter and added into the raw material of the cat litter to produce a finished product of the cat litter.
The specific technical scheme is as follows:
a cat litter inducer containing plant components is characterized by comprising alfalfa, peanut shells, folium artemisiae argyi and liquorice.
Preferably, the components comprise the following components in parts by weight: 30-60 parts of alfalfa, 10-20 parts of peanut shells, 15-30 parts of folium artemisiae argyi and 15-20 parts of liquorice. The above weight parts are the weight of the dried materials, and the moisture content of each material after drying is below 10 wt%.
Preferably, the particle size of the cat litter inducer is 3mm or less. The particle size of the product has an effect on its use as well as mixing and dispersion in the litter.
Preferably, the preparation method of the cat litter inducer is to crush the dried raw materials and mix the crushed raw materials in proportion.
Preferably, the cat litter inducer is prepared by mixing the dried raw materials in proportion and then crushing the mixture.
The drying can be drying in the sun or drying.
More preferably, the pulverization is carried out by a hammer mill, and the pore diameter is preferably 3 mm.
Preferably, the usage amount of the cat litter inducer in the cat litter is 1-2 wt% of the total mass of the cat litter except the cat litter inducer.
The cat litter inducer can be directly added into common commercially available cat litter for use; can also be used as a component in the formula of the cat litter and added into the raw material of the cat litter to produce a finished cat litter product.
An application of the cat litter inducer of the invention in cat litter can be applied to bentonite cat litter or wood cat litter.
Preferably, the method can be applied to apple wood cat litter.
The cat litter inducer is not only suitable for bentonite cat litter, but also suitable for various wooden cat litters. Natural wood has inherent characteristic smell, rich taste and different characteristic smell of different kinds of wood. The wooden cat litter prepared from wood materials such as camphor wood and pine wood is commonly used in the field and has the function of masking peculiar smell, but because the smell has irritation, the dependence of pet cats on the wooden cat litter is poor, and the wooden cat litter is generally refused to be used in special periods such as the oestrus period of cats; the wooden cat litter with non-irritating odor such as apple wood can improve the rejection of pet cats to cat litter to a certain extent, but the problem cannot be solved completely. The application of the existing cat litter inducer products is generally limited to bentonite cat litter and has poor use effect in wooden cat litter, and the reason is presumed that the odor of the cat litter inducer is interfered by the characteristic odor of strong wood, and the interference mechanism is not clear. The formula of the invention is suitable for various wooden cat litters, has stable induction effect on pet cats, and solves the technical problems.
The invention has the following beneficial effects:
the cat litter inducer prepared by the plant formula improves the dependence of the pet cat on the cat litter and solves the problem that the pet cat refuses to use the cat litter in a special period. The cat litter inducer can be directly added into common commercially available cat litter for use; can also be used as a component in the formula of the cat litter and added into the raw material of the cat litter to produce a finished product of the cat litter. The material of the invention has wide source, low price, easy acquisition and easy processing, and can be put into production in large scale. The invention can be simultaneously suitable for bentonite cat litter and wood cat litter, and solves the problem that the existing inducer is ineffective in wood cat litter.

Detailed Description
The principles and features of this invention are described below in conjunction with examples, which are set forth to illustrate, but are not to be construed to limit the scope of the invention.
Example 1
The cat litter inducer with plant components comprises, by weight, 60 parts of alfalfa, 10 parts of peanut shells, 15 parts of folium artemisiae argyi and 15 parts of liquorice. Drying the materials until the water content is below 10 wt%, pulverizing with a 3mm aperture hammer mill, and mixing uniformly according to the above proportion.
When the cat litter is used by directly adding the cat litter into commercially available bentonite cat litter in a proportion of 1 wt% based on the mass of the cat litter to which the inducer is not added, the number of times that the cat enters the cat litter (i.e., the number of times of urination) is increased by about 30%, and the increase in the urine volume of the cat litter (i.e., the consumption amount of the cat litter) is increased by about 30% as compared with the bentonite cat litter to which the component is not added.
Example 2
The cat litter inducer with plant components comprises 50 parts of alfalfa, 15 parts of peanut shells, 20 parts of folium artemisiae argyi and 15 parts of liquorice in parts by weight. Drying the materials until the water content is below 10 wt%, uniformly mixing according to the proportion, and crushing by using a hammer crusher with a 3mm aperture. Added to the apple wood litter in a proportion of 2 wt% of the total mass of the dry materials except for the inducer, co-granulated and crushed to a conventional litter particle size.
Compared with the apple-wood cat litter without the component, the number of times that cats enter the cat litter (i.e., the number of urination times) is increased by about 20%, and the increase of the cat urine amount (i.e., the cat litter consumption amount) is increased by about 20%. After addition of this substance, cats prefer to use cat litter.
Example 3
The cat litter inducer with plant components comprises, by weight, 40 parts of alfalfa, 20 parts of peanut shells, 20 parts of folium artemisiae argyi and 20 parts of liquorice. Drying the materials until the water content is below 10 wt%, pulverizing with a 3mm aperture hammer mill, and mixing uniformly according to the above proportion.
Example 4
The cat litter inducer with plant components comprises, by weight, 30 parts of alfalfa, 20 parts of peanut shells, 30 parts of folium artemisiae argyi and 20 parts of liquorice. Drying the materials until the water content is below 10 wt%, pulverizing with a 3mm aperture hammer mill, and mixing uniformly according to the above proportion.
Example 5
The cat litter inducer with plant components comprises 50 parts of alfalfa, 15 parts of peanut shells, 20 parts of folium artemisiae argyi and 15 parts of liquorice in parts by weight. Drying the materials until the water content is below 10 wt%, pulverizing with a 3mm aperture hammer mill, and mixing uniformly according to the above proportion. Adding the dried materials except the inducer into the apple wood cat litter raw material according to the proportion of 2 wt% of the total mass of the dried materials, granulating together, and crushing into the conventional cat litter particle size.
The preparation method of the apple wood cat litter refers to patent CN 106342701A.
Experiment of
Comparative experiments prove the effect of the cat litter inducer of the invention in cat litter with different components. 4 experimental groups are designed, each group adopts 12 cats and 12 cat litter boxes, and each group is provided with 6 inducer groups and 6 control groups. The age of the cat is 2-5 years, the species is random, and the weight of the selected female cat or the male cat and the female cat after sterilization is 5-7 kg. The age of each group of cats was randomly distributed. The cat litter boxes of each experimental group are sequentially placed in a room at intervals, each cat has an independent cat nest, a climbing frame and the like, and can contact any cat litter box. The cats are raised indoors and fed with the same cat food without limiting the drinking water of the cats. Recording the amount of the urine mass shoveled out of each cat litter basin every day, weighing the corresponding weight, subsequently supplementing the corresponding amount of cat litter (the inducer group also needs to supplement the corresponding amount of inducer), continuously performing the experiment for 15 days, summarizing related data, and averaging every group every day.
The litter box placement for each experimental group is shown in fig. 1. In fig. 1, the litter boxes have the same shape, the thickness of the added litter is the same, but the litter in two adjacent boxes is different, one of the boxes is the litter with the added litter inducer, and the other box is the litter without the added litter inducer. For example, the cat litter with the cat litter inducer added to the pots No. 1 and No. 3, and the cat litter without the cat litter inducer added to the pots No. 2 and No. 4. Each experimental group was placed in three groups as above, and placed in the same room.
The preparation method of the apple wood cat litter described in the experiment refers to patent CN 106342701A. The results of the experiments are shown in Table 1, and the grouping information is as follows.
Group 1 uses commercial ordinary bentonite cat litter as experimental object
Inducer group 1: adding the cat litter inducer obtained in example 3 into bentonite cat litter in an amount of 1 wt% based on the cat litter without the inducer, and mixing uniformly;
control group 1: untreated bentonite cat litter.
Group 2 uses king kitty brand finished product wooden cat litter as experimental object
Inducer group 2: adding the cat litter inducer obtained in the example 4 into king kitty brand finished wood cat litter in an amount of 1 wt% based on the cat litter without the inducer, and uniformly mixing;
control group 2: untreated king kitty brand finished wood cat litter.
Group 3 apple wood cat litter comprising the cat litter inducer of the invention as an experimental subject
Inducer group 3: the litter obtained in example 5;
control group 3: apple wood litter was prepared by the same procedure as in example 5, except that the litter inducer was not included.
Group 4 apple tree cat litter using single alfalfa as inducer as experimental subject
Inducer group 4: drying herba Medicaginis, pulverizing to particle diameter of below 3mm, adding apple wood cat litter (the preparation method is the same as control group 3) in an amount of 1 wt% of cat litter without inducer;
control group 4: untreated apple wood cat litter (prepared as control 3).
TABLE 1 Cat litter inducer Effect comparison Table
Figure BDA0002350389060000061
As can be seen from Table 1, the litter inducer of the invention can effectively increase the use rate of bentonite litter and wood litter by pet cats and improve the toileting behavior of pet cats. The odor of the alfalfa has a certain attraction effect on cats, and the alfalfa has a good induction effect when being used in bentonite cat litter; however, the above experiments prove that the use effect of the wood cat litter is poor, and the obvious induction effect cannot be achieved.
The above description is only for the purpose of illustrating the preferred embodiments of the present invention and is not to be construed as limiting the invention, and any modifications, equivalents, improvements and the like that fall within the spirit and principle of the present invention are intended to be included therein.
