Abstract

The application relates to a frameless display device and a display method. The frameless display device comprises a display cover plate, a light-emitting element, an image acquisition element and a controller. The display cover includes a display area for displaying and a non-display area. The light-emitting element and the image acquisition element are respectively arranged on two sides of the display cover plate. The light-emitting element emits display content and display background to be projected in the display area. The image acquisition element is used for acquiring image information of a display cover plate at least comprising a display area. The controller is electrically connected with the light emitting element and the image capturing element respectively. The controller judges the difference between the display background and the non-display area in the display area and dynamically adjusts the background of the display area to ensure that the background part is consistent with the non-display area of the display cover plate, and the adjustment is dynamic and closed-loop and can be adjusted along with the change of the environment to ensure the consistency of the effect.

Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to the field of optoelectronic display, and more particularly, to a frameless display device and a display method.
Background
Today, various ultra-large screen displays are increasingly in demand. With the continuous development of LED technology, LED display screens are widely used in indoor and outdoor advertising, traffic, sports, exhibition, performance, and meeting places. In modern life, the LED display screen is also gradually applied to the fields of smart homes, automobiles, interior decoration, and the like. In order to embody the scientific and technical sense and the design sense of unity, a special display effect is often required to be designed, namely, the display is hidden under the appearance surface, when no display content is required, the complete appearance is kept, the display area cannot be seen, when the display is required, only the required content is displayed, and a fixed display area is not required like a common display.
Currently, there are two display modes capable of implementing the above functions. One is a mirror surface appearance, which, by being combined with a mirror surface display, can achieve the goal of displaying only the content to be displayed without seeing the entire display area. However, this solution is limited to the mirror display effect, and it is difficult to achieve satisfactory effect for surfaces of other colors or materials. The other is a customized LED module, which is hidden under the semi-transparent appearance, the bright part of the LED can be observed through the semi-transparent appearance, and the other areas keep the original appearance. However, this scheme can only realize fixed display contents, and cannot flexibly change the display contents.
Disclosure of Invention
Based on the above, the application provides a frameless display device and a display method, so as to realize frameless display effects on various surfaces and under different environments.
A frameless display device, comprising:
a display cover plate having a display area and a non-display area;
the light-emitting element is arranged on one side of the display cover plate and used for emitting display content and display background to be projected to the display area;
the image acquisition element is arranged on the other side of the display cover plate and is used for acquiring the image information of the display cover plate at least comprising the display area; and
and the controller is respectively electrically connected with the light-emitting element and the image acquisition element and is used for dynamically adjusting the display content and the display background according to the image information so as to ensure that the display background is hidden visually and the display content is displayed.
In one embodiment, the light emitting device is any one of a thin film transistor liquid crystal display, a light emitting diode dot matrix display, an organic light emitting diode display, a micro light emitting diode display, a plasma display, or other dot matrix display.
In one embodiment, the light emitting element is fixedly disposed on one side of the display cover plate, and the light emitting element emits display content and a display background to be projected on the display area.

Referring to fig. 1, an embodiment of the present application provides a frameless display device 100. The frameless display device 100 comprises a display cover 10, a light emitting element 20, an image capturing element 30 and a controller 40.
The display cover 10 has a display area 101 and a non-display area 102. The light emitting element 20 is disposed on one side of the display cover 10. The light emitting element 20 emits display content and display background to the display area 101. The image capturing element 30 is disposed on the other side of the display cover 10. The image capturing element 30 is used to capture image information of the display cover 10 at least including the display area 101. The controller 40 is electrically connected to the light emitting element 20 and the image capturing element 30, respectively. The controller 40 is configured to dynamically adjust the display content and the display background according to the image information to ensure that the display background is hidden visually and the display content is displayed.
The material of the display cover 10 is not particularly limited as long as the content to be displayed can be clearly displayed through the display area 101. In an alternative embodiment, the material of the display cover plate 10 may be a translucent material. In an alternative embodiment, the display area 101 is a translucent area. The non-display area 102 is not limited. When the material of the display cover plate 10 is a translucent material, both the display area 101 and the non-display area 102 are translucent areas. When the material of the display cover plate 10 is a transparent material, a layer of translucent film may be covered at the position of the display area 101, and the non-display area 102 is a transparent area.
The structure of the light emitting element 20 is not particularly limited. As long as the display content with the display background can be emitted. As long as the image obtaining element 30 can obtain the image information of the entire area of the display cover 10, or at least can obtain the image information of a partial area of the display cover 10 including the display area 101. In an alternative embodiment, the image capture element 30 is a wide-angle camera. When the image capturing element 30 is a wide-angle camera, the wide-angle camera may be directly integrated at any position of the non-display area 102 of the display cover 10. For example, the wide-angle camera may be obliquely placed in a raised manner at the upper edge of the display cover 10, so that the viewing angle of the wide-angle camera covers at least the display area 101 and a narrow circle of non-display area 102 surrounding the outer edge of the display area 101. The wide-angle camera is directly integrated at any position of the non-display area 102 of the display cover plate 10, and the position of the image capturing element 30 does not need to be additionally arranged, so that the volume of the whole frameless display device 100 is reduced, and the installation is convenient.
The structure and the position relationship of the controller 40 are not particularly limited, as long as the controller 40 can dynamically adjust the display content and the display background according to the image information to ensure that the display background is hidden visually and the display content is displayed. In an alternative embodiment, the controller 40 is a microprocessor integrated with the image acquisition assembly 30. In an alternative embodiment, the controller 40 may also be a separately provided processor.
In this embodiment, the frameless display device 100 includes a display cover 10, a light emitting device 20, an image capturing device 30 and a controller 40. The display cover 10 includes a display area 101 for display and a non-display area 102. The light emitting element 20 and the image capturing element 30 are respectively disposed on both sides of the display cover 10. The light emitting element 20 emits display content and display background projected in the display area 101. The image capturing element 30 is used to capture image information of the display cover 10 at least including the display area 101. The controller 40 is electrically connected to the light emitting element 20 and the image capturing element 30, respectively. The controller 40 determines the difference between the display background in the display area 10 and the non-display area 102, and dynamically adjusts the background of the display area to ensure the display effect of the background part is consistent with the display effect of the non-display area 102 of the display cover 10, and the adjustment is dynamic and closed loop, and can be adjusted along with the change of the environment to ensure the consistency of the effect.
In one alternative embodiment, the light emitting element 20 is fixedly disposed on one side of the display cover 10. Optionally, the light emitting element 20 is directly opposite to the display area 101.
The light emitting element 20 and the display cover 10 may be mounted on the back surface of the display cover 10 by an adhesive. The display content and the display background emitted by the light emitting element 20 will be presented to the viewer through the display area 101. At this time, the image capturing element 30 may be disposed right opposite to the front surface of the display cover 10 with a certain interval between the image capturing element 30 and the display cover 10. When the image capturing element 30 is spaced apart from the display cover 10, the image capturing element 30 may be a general camera or a wide-angle camera. In an alternative embodiment, the image capturing element 30 may be fixedly disposed on the front surface of the display cover 10. When the image capturing element 30 is fixedly disposed on the front surface of the display cover 10, the image capturing element 30 is directly integrated on any position of the non-display area 102 of the display cover 10. Since the image capturing element 30 needs to capture image information of the display panel 10, the image capturing element 30 may be a wide-angle camera or other image capturing element with a larger viewing angle.
Referring to fig. 2, in one embodiment, the light emitting device 20 is a projector. Since the projector needs to be at a distance from the projection screen, in an alternative embodiment, the projector is spaced from the display cover 10. The projector emits display content and display background to the display area 101. At this time, the image capturing element 30 may be disposed right opposite to the front surface of the display cover 10 with a certain interval between the image capturing element 30 and the display cover 10. When the image capturing element 30 is spaced apart from the display cover 10, the image capturing element 30 may be a general camera or a wide-angle camera. The viewing angle of the image capturing element 30 covers at least the display area 101 and a portion of the non-display area 102 connected to the outer edge of the display area 101. That is, the viewing angle of the image capturing element 30 covers at least the display area 101 and a narrow circle of non-display area 102 surrounding the outer edge of the display area 101.
Referring to fig. 3, in an alternative embodiment, the image capturing element 30 may also be fixedly disposed on the front surface of the display cover 10. When the image capturing element 30 is fixedly disposed on the front surface of the display cover 10, the image capturing element 30 may be a wide-angle camera or other image capturing element with a larger viewing angle, since the image capturing element 30 needs to capture the image information of the display panel 10. The viewing angle of the image capturing element 30 covers at least the display area 101 and a portion of the non-display area 102 connected to the outer edge of the display area 101. That is, the viewing angle of the image capturing element 30 covers at least the display area 101 and a narrow circle of non-display area 102 surrounding the outer edge of the display area 101.
Please refer to fig. 4, which is a diagram illustrating a display effect of a conventional display device on a display panel according to the present application. As can be seen from fig. 4, since the display background in the display area 101 is visually different from the appearance in the non-display area 102, there is a very obvious boundary trace, which is visually perceived by the viewer as a frame.
Please refer to fig. 5, which is a diagram illustrating a display effect of the frameless display device 100 according to the present application on a display panel. As can be seen from fig. 5, by adjusting the color and brightness of the display background of the display area 101 so that the display background and the non-display area 102 are integrated, there is no visual difference between the display background in the display area 101 and the appearance in the non-display area 102, and therefore, only the display content can be visually seen, and thus, the existence of the entire display area cannot be seen.
Referring to fig. 6, an embodiment of the present application provides a borderless display method. The borderless display method comprises the following steps:
s10, image information of the display cover 10 including at least the display area 101 is acquired by the image acquisition element 30. In step S10, the display cover 10 has a display area 101 and a non-display area 102. The image capturing element 30 is disposed on the front surface of the display cover 10. The image information may include an image within the display area 101 and an image of a part or all of the non-display area 102.
S20, the controller 40 obtains the image information, and dynamically adjusts the display content and the display background emitted by the light emitting device 20 according to the image information and the current light environment, so as to ensure that the display background is hidden visually and the display content is displayed.
