Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of insert molding, in particular to an insert molding method and device.
Background
As a method for producing a molded article having high design, there is an insert molding method. The insert molding method is completed by the steps of preforming, disposing the preformed insert in a mold for injection molding, injecting a heated resin as an injection molding material around the insert, and the like.
In the insert molding method, a mold having a cavity formed between a fixed mold and a movable mold is used, and a support pin is provided to support an insert. Then, after a molten resin is injected into the cavity at one time, the support pin is withdrawn from the cavity, thereby obtaining a resin-sealed electronic substrate as an insert molded body. However, in the prior art, because a supporting structure of the insert is required to be arranged on the mold, it is generally difficult to completely seal the insert in the resin.
Disclosure of Invention
In order to overcome the defects of the prior art, the invention aims to provide an insert molding method and device, so as to solve the problem that the insert in the prior art cannot be completely sealed in the middle of a mold cavity.
In order to solve the technical problems, the technical scheme of the invention is as follows:
a method of insert molding, the method comprising:
fixing the insert in the cavity between the fixed mold and the movable mold by a clamping structure;
injecting a molten resin into the mold cavity;
judging whether an injection molding cavity of the clamping structure is filled with molten resin or not;
when the injection molding cavity is filled with the molten resin, stopping injecting the molten resin, and sealing the pouring gate;
and withdrawing the clamping structure from the mold cavity, and simultaneously enabling the telescopic rod to extrude the molten resin so that the molten resin enters the mold cavity from the injection molding hole.
Furthermore, the clamping structure is controlled to enter and exit the die cavity through an oil pressure motor.
Further, the telescopic rod is controlled by a servo motor to extrude the molten resin.
Further, whether the molten resin is injected into the injection cavity is judged through a pressure sensor.
Further, the method further comprises: and controlling the extrusion speed of the telescopic rod according to the exit speed of the clamping structure, and keeping the exit speed of the clamping structure the same as the extrusion speed of the telescopic rod.
Further, the process of injecting the molten resin into the cavity is as follows:
aligning the through hole of the insert with the gate;
molten resin is injected into the mold cavity from the gate through the through hole.
Further, the injection molding cavity has a volume equal to the volume of the clamping structure exiting the mold cavity.
An insert molding apparatus, comprising a fixed mold and a movable mold; clamping mechanisms are arranged on the fixed die and the movable die; an injection molding cavity is arranged inside the clamping mechanism; a telescopic rod is arranged in the injection molding cavity; and an injection molding hole is also formed in the inner side wall of the clamping mechanism.
Furthermore, a groove is formed in the inner side wall of the clamping mechanism.
Further, a gate is provided at the top of the fixed mold.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following beneficial effects:
according to the invention, the embedded part is fixed through the clamping structure, when the mold cavity is filled with the molten resin, the clamping structure is withdrawn from the two ends, the space of the mold cavity is further enlarged, the telescopic rod is ensured to extrude the molten resin, the molten resin enters the mold cavity from the injection molding cavity to fill the space left by the withdrawal of the clamping structure, and the embedded part is ensured to be completely sealed in the molten resin.
