Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a wireless local area network technology, in particular to a method and a system for synchronizing addresses of a wireless access point and a wireless controller in a cascading scene.
Background
The WLAN (wireless local area network) provides a wireless connection service of the local area network, the AP (wireless access point) is a wireless access device in the wireless local area network and is responsible for accessing the terminal and providing wireless services, and the AC (wireless controller) is a wireless control device and is responsible for managing all APs in the network and configuring and managing functions such as wireless services of the APs.
In a traditional networking environment, an AC is deployed at a cloud or a management center, an AP is deployed in a wireless access scene, the AP is accessed into the same local area network environment through a switch, and then is accessed into an upper end network through gateway equipment, so that the AP is clustered deployed and managed by the AC. For the AP, the access AC may be implemented in a static manner or in a dynamic manner: the static method refers to connection by an AC address configured in an AP, and the dynamic method refers to connection by discovering an AC address by DHCP, DNS, broadcast, multicast, or the like. When a network is actually deployed, in consideration of deployment efficiency, an AP generally adopts zero configuration to perform online and discovers an AC address from network deployment in a dynamic manner to perform connection.
In a conventional deployment environment of each AP cluster network, a switch and a gateway device need to be configured. For small network environments such as banking outlets, the number of APs deployed at each outlet is usually only a few, and if a traditional network deployment manner is adopted, gateway devices must be deployed, which increases the cost. Therefore, for this type of scenario, a new cascade method is adopted to perform network deployment, and no gateway device is deployed any more, that is, one AP is used as a gateway AP and works in a routing mode to provide gateway and wireless access functions, and other APs in the deployment environment are used as extended APs and work in a bridge mode to connect with the LAN side of the gateway AP to form a local area network to provide wireless access functions, as shown in fig. 1.
In a new cascade networking environment, the gateway AP can still acquire the AC address in a dynamic manner and bring it online, but since the extended AP is deployed in the LAN on the LAN side of the gateway AP, the AC address cannot be acquired in a dynamic manner and brought online. Therefore, the extended AP can only be brought online by statically configuring the AC address, which increases labor cost and reduces deployment efficiency.

Detailed Description
The invention provides a method and a system for synchronizing addresses of a wireless Access Point (AP) and a wireless controller (AC) in a cascading networking scene, and solves the problems that in the cascading scene, an extended AP cannot acquire the address of the AC in a dynamic mode and is on-line, so that the labor cost is increased, and the deployment efficiency is low.
Example (b):
in this embodiment, for example, a cascading manner is adopted for network deployment in a bank outlet, multiple APs are adopted for deployment, and no gateway device is deployed, but one of the APs is used as a gateway AP, and operates in a routing mode to provide a gateway and a wireless access function; and other APs are used as extension APs, work in a bridge mode, are connected with the LAN side of the gateway AP to form a local area network and provide a wireless access function.
The extended AP is used for establishing connection with the gateway AP, registering local information to the gateway AP, and adopting the address to carry out online after acquiring the AC address synchronized with the gateway AP;
and the gateway AP is used for managing the on-line state of each expansion AP registered to the gateway AP, and synchronizing the AC address to the expansion AP in the off-line state after the AC address is found and the AC address is successfully on-line.
In a specific implementation, the structure of the extended AP is shown in fig. 2, and includes: the system comprises a registration module, an address acquisition module and an online module;
the registration module is used for establishing connection with the gateway AP according to the notification message and registering local information to the gateway AP after receiving the notification message of the gateway AP;
the address acquisition module is used for acquiring an AC address synchronized with the gateway AP;
and the online module is used for performing online according to the AC address and feeding an online result message back to the gateway AP.
The structure of the gateway AP is shown in fig. 3, and includes: the system comprises a notification module, a state management module and an address synchronization module;
the notification module is used for periodically notifying the local area network where the gateway AP is positioned of a message which is used as the gateway AP by the local area network; the local area network where the gateway AP is located is the network on the LAN side where the gateway AP is located;
the state management module is used for managing the online state of each expansion AP registered to the gateway AP;
and the address synchronization module is used for periodically synchronizing the AC address to the extended AP in the non-online state after the AC address is found and the AC address is successfully online.
In addition, after the extended AP establishes connection with the gateway AP, in order to keep long connection between the extended AP and the gateway AP, a first keep-alive module is also arranged in the gateway AP, and a second keep-alive module is also arranged in the extended AP; the first keep-alive module and the second keep-alive module periodically maintain the connection through keep-alive messages. It should be noted that, the connection keep-alive between the extended AP and the gateway AP may have two implementation schemes:
firstly, keep-alive information is sent to an extended AP by a gateway AP, and the extended AP responds to the keep-alive information; and secondly, the keep-alive information is sent to the gateway AP by the extended AP, and the gateway AP responds to the keep-alive information.
Fig. 4 shows an interaction flow between the extended AP and the gateway AP, which specifically includes:
1. the gateway AP sends an announcement message to the extended AP:
after the gateway AP is started, the gateway AP periodically a (for example, 10 seconds) sends a gateway information notification message to the LAN side network in a multicast or broadcast manner, and notifies the LAN side network of the gateway information of the local gateway; so as to ensure that the extended AP in the LAN side network establishes connection with the gateway AP as soon as possible.
2. The extended AP establishes connection with the gateway AP:
the extended AP receives the gateway information notification message, if the gateway AP is judged not to be registered, the gateway AP information is recorded, and the connection is established with the gateway AP in a unicast mode; if the gateway AP is registered, no processing is performed.
3. The extended AP registers local information with the gateway AP:
after establishing connection with the gateway AP, the extended AP sends local information registration information to the gateway AP through the established connection channel; in addition, after the unicast connection is established between the extended AP and the gateway AP, the extended AP and the gateway AP synchronously enter a keep-alive stage, and both sides send keep-alive messages through a periodic B (for example, 5 seconds) to ensure the normal network connection.
4. The gateway AP manages the state of the extended AP through the list:
after receiving the local information registration message of the extended AP, the gateway AP adds the extended AP into an extended AP information list, and initializes the state of the extended AP information to be offline.
5. The gateway AP synchronizes AC address information to the extended AP:
when the gateway AP is successfully on-line with the AC, the gateway AP periodically C (for example, 3 seconds) checks the states of all the extended AP information in the extended AP information list, and when the state of the extended AP information is "not on-line", the gateway AP sends an AC address synchronization message to the extended AP whose state is "not on-line" through the established unicast connection channel, and sets the state to "on-line".
6. The extended AP adopts the received AC address information to be on-line and feeds back the on-line result:
and the extended AP receives the AC address synchronization message, uses the AC address to perform an online process, and sends an AC online result message to the gateway AP after the online process is finished.
7. The gateway AP updates the state of the extended AP according to the online result:
the gateway AP receives the AC online result message of the extended AP, and if the online is successful, the state of the extended AP information is updated to be 'online'; and if the on-line fails, updating the state of the extended AP information to be 'not on-line'.
