An embodiment of the present application provides a display panel, as shown in fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic view of a display panel provided in an embodiment of the present application. The display panel 001 includes a plurality of organic light emitting units 01, wherein each organic light emitting unit 01 includes a first electrode 10, a second electrode 20, a pixel defining layer 30, and an organic light emitting layer 40. The first electrode 10 is disposed opposite to the second electrode 20, and the pixel defining layer 30 and the organic light emitting layer 40 are disposed between the first electrode 10 and the second electrode 20. Specifically, a hole transport layer and a hole injection layer, an electron transport layer and an electron injection layer are further included between the first electrode 10 and the second electrode 20, and the hole transport layer and the hole injection layer are illustrated by a layer of structure 60 and are located between the pixel defining layer 30 and the organic light emitting layer 40; the electron transport layer and the electron injection layer are illustrated as a layer structure 50, located between the cathode 20 and the organic light emitting layer 40. More specifically, the organic light emitting unit 01 further includes a switching transistor 80, and the switching transistor 80 is electrically connected to the first electrode 10, and the first electrode 10 may be an anode or a cathode. The organic light-emitting layer 40, the hole transport layer and hole injection layer 60, and the electron transport layer and electron injection layer 50 may be referred to as light-emitting layers.
Further, the organic light emitting layer 40 includes a first portion 42 and a second portion 41, wherein the first portion 42 is connected to the second portion 41 and the second portion 41 surrounds the first portion 42. The first portion 42 and the second portion 41 are formed by dividing the organic light emitting layer 40 by regions, and both portions belong to different portions of the same organic light emitting layer 40.
Furthermore, the pixel defining layer 30 includes an opening 31, the opening 31 is used for connecting the light emitting layer and the first electrode 10, and then, the area of the opening 31 of the pixel defining layer 30 is a light emitting area of the organic light emitting unit 01.
Wherein the projection of the first portion 42 of the organic light emitting layer 40 on the pixel defining layer 30 coincides with the opening 31 of the pixel defining layer 30. Since the organic light emitting layer 40 further includes the second portion 41 surrounding the first portion 42, and the projection of the first portion 42 on the pixel defining layer 30 coincides with the opening 31, the second portion 41 of the organic light emitting layer 40 is located at the periphery of the opening 31 of the pixel defining layer 30. Referring to fig. 2, fig. 3, fig. 4 and fig. 5, fig. 2 is a schematic view of a display panel provided in another embodiment of the present application, fig. 3 is a schematic view of a display panel provided in yet another embodiment of the present application, fig. 4 is a top view of a display panel provided in an embodiment of the present application, and fig. 5 is a top view of a display panel provided in yet another embodiment of the present application. It should be noted that fig. 2, 3, 4, and 5 only show some structures closely related to the point of the invention in order to clearly describe the point of the invention of the present application. Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view of fig. 4 along a first direction X, and fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view of fig. 5 along the first direction X. Note that, the dotted line frame in the organic light emitting layer 40 in fig. 4 and 5 is both the boundary between the first portion 42 and the first portion 41 in the organic light emitting layer 40 and the position where the projection of the opening 31 in the pixel defining layer 30 on the organic light emitting layer 40 is located.
As shown in fig. 2, 3, 4 and 5, the second portion 41 of the organic light emitting layer 40 includes a first sub-portion 411 and a second sub-portion 412. The first sub-portion 411 and the second sub-portion 412 are respectively located on two opposite sides of the first portion 42, and the first sub-portion 411 and the second sub-portion 412 are arranged along the first direction X. The display panel 001 further includes a gate line 02, and the extending direction of the gate line 02 is parallel to the first direction X.
For example, with a dotted line in the organic light emitting layer 40 as a boundary, the first sub-section 411 is a portion of the second portion 41 located on the left side of the first portion 42 in fig. 2 to 5, and the second sub-section 412 is a portion of the second portion 41 located on the right side of the first portion 42 in fig. 2 to 5.
Further, the width of the first sub-portion 411 is d1, and the width of the second sub-portion 412 is d2, wherein d1 and d2 satisfy: d1 is more than 0 mu m and less than or equal to 20 mu m, and d2 is more than 0 mu m and less than or equal to 20 mu m. When the width of the first subsection 411 and the width of the second subsection 412 satisfy the width range, on one hand, the problem of color shortage of the organic light emitting unit 01 along the first direction X can be ensured; on the other hand, it can be ensured that when the organic light emitting layer 40 is shifted in the first direction X relative to the opening 31 of the pixel defining layer 30, the second portion 41 of the organic light emitting layer 40 of one organic light emitting unit 01 is not shifted to the position of the adjacent organic light emitting unit 01, thereby avoiding the problem of color mixing.
As shown in fig. 2 and 4, the width of the first sub-portion 411 in the second portion 41 is equal to the width of the second sub-portion 412, i.e., d1 is d 2.
As shown in fig. 3 and 5, the width of the first sub-portion 411 and the width of the second sub-portion 412 in the second portion 41 may also be unequal, i.e. d1 ≠ d 2. For example, as shown in fig. 3 and 5, the width of the first sub-portion 411 is smaller than the width of the second sub-portion 412, and of course, the width of the first sub-portion 411 may be larger than the width of the second sub-portion 412.
With reference to fig. 2-5, the organic light emitting layer 40 of any of the organic light emitting units 01 includes a first inner edge 41a and a first outer edge 41b, as shown in fig. 4 and 5, the extending directions of the first inner edge 41a and the first outer edge 41b are both perpendicular to a first direction X, i.e., the extending directions of the first inner edge 41a and the first outer edge 41b are both parallel to a second direction Y, wherein the second direction Y is perpendicular to the first direction X. Also, the first inner edge 41a is an edge of the first portion 42 close to the second portion 41, and the first outer edge 41b is an edge of the second portion 41 far from the first portion 42. That is, the first inner edge 41a is an edge perpendicular to the first direction X among inner edges of the second portion 41, and the first outer edge 41b is an edge perpendicular to the first direction X among outer edges of the second portion 41.
Further, in any two organic light emitting units 01 adjacently arranged in the first direction X, a minimum distance between the first inner edge 41a in the organic light emitting layer 40 of one organic light emitting unit 01 and the first outer edge 41b in the organic light emitting layer 40 of the other organic light emitting unit 01 is d 3. Wherein d3 satisfies: d3-d1 are more than 0 mu m and less than or equal to 10 mu m, and d3-d2 are more than 0 mu m and less than or equal to 10 mu m.
Specifically, with continued reference to fig. 4 and 5, in the two organic light emitting units 01 arranged along the first direction X, a distance d3 is formed between a first inner edge 41a on the right side of the second portion 41 of the organic light emitting layer 40 of the left organic light emitting unit 01 and a first outer edge 41b on the left side of the second portion 41 of the organic light emitting layer 40 of the right organic light emitting unit 01. When 0 μm < d3-d2 is not less than 10 μm, that is, the width of the gap between the organic light emitting layer 40 of the left organic light emitting unit 01 and the organic light emitting layer 40 of the right organic light emitting unit 01 is greater than 0 μm and not more than 10 μm, so that no overlap between adjacent organic light emitting layers 40 arranged along the first direction X can be ensured to avoid color mixing, and the gap width is not more than 10 μm can ensure that the density of the organic light emitting units 01 of the display panel 001 meets the requirement.
Specifically, with continued reference to fig. 4 and 5, in the two organic light emitting units 01 arranged along the first direction X, a distance d3 is formed between a left first inner edge 41a of the second portion 41 of the organic light emitting layer 40 of the organic light emitting unit 01 on the right and a right first outer edge 41b of the second portion 41 of the organic light emitting layer 40 of the organic light emitting unit 01 on the left. When 0 μm < d3-d1 is not less than 10 μm, that is, the width of the gap between the organic light emitting layer 40 of the organic light emitting unit 01 on the right side and the organic light emitting layer 40 of the organic light emitting unit 01 on the left side is greater than 0 μm and not more than 10 μm, so that no overlap between the adjacent organic light emitting layers 40 arranged along the first direction X can be ensured to avoid color mixing, and the gap width is not more than 10 μm to ensure that the density of the organic light emitting units 01 of the display panel 001 meets the requirement.

It should be noted that fig. 4, 5, 6, and 7 only show some structures closely related to the point of the invention in order to clearly describe the point of the invention of the present application. Fig. 6 is a cross-sectional view taken along a second direction Y in fig. 4, and fig. 7 is a cross-sectional view taken along the second direction Y in fig. 5.
As shown in fig. 4, 5, 6 and 7, the second portion 41 of the organic light emitting layer 40 further includes a third sub-portion 413 and a fourth sub-portion 414. The third sub-portion 413 and the fourth sub-portion 414 are respectively located on two opposite sides of the first portion 42, and the third sub-portion 413 and the fourth sub-portion 414 are arranged along the second direction Y. The display panel 001 further includes a gate line 02, and the second direction Y is perpendicular to the extending direction of the gate line 01.
That is, with a dotted frame in the organic light emitting layer 40 in fig. 4 and 5 as a boundary, the third sub-portion 413 is a portion of the second portion 41 located on the upper side of the first portion 42, and the fourth sub-portion 414 is a portion of the second portion 41 located on the lower side of the first portion 42; with the dotted line in the organic light emitting layer 40 in fig. 6 and 7 as a boundary, the third sub-portion 413 is a portion of the second portion 41 located on the left side of the first portion 42, and the fourth sub-portion 414 is a portion of the second portion 41 located on the right side of the first portion 42.

When the width of the third subsection 413 and the width of the fourth subsection 414 satisfy the width range, on one hand, the problem of color shortage of the organic light emitting unit 01 along the second direction Y can be ensured; on the other hand, it can be ensured that when the organic light emitting layer 40 is shifted in the second direction Y relative to the opening 31 of the pixel defining layer 30, the second portion 41 of the organic light emitting layer 40 of one organic light emitting unit 01 is not shifted to the position of the adjacent organic light emitting unit 01, thereby avoiding the problem of color mixing.
As shown in fig. 4 and 6, the width of the third sub-portion 413 in the second portion 41 is equal to the width of the fourth sub-portion 414, i.e., d4 is d 5.
As shown in fig. 5 and 7, the width of the third sub-portion 413 in the second portion 41 is not equal to the width of the fourth sub-portion 414, i.e. d4 ≠ d 5. For example, as shown in fig. 5 and 7, the width of the third sub-portion 413 is smaller than the width of the fourth sub-portion 414, but the width of the third sub-portion 413 may be larger than the width of the fourth sub-portion 414.

That is, the second inner edge 41c is an edge perpendicular to the second direction Y among inner edges of the second portion 41, and the second outer edge 41d is an edge perpendicular to the second direction Y among outer edges of the second portion 41.
Further, in two organic light emitting units 01 arbitrarily arranged adjacently along the second direction Y, a minimum distance between the second inner edge 41c in the organic light emitting layer 40 of one organic light emitting unit 01 and the second outer edge 41d in the organic light emitting layer 40 of the other organic light emitting unit 01 is d 6. Wherein d6 satisfies: d6-d4 are more than 0 mu m and less than or equal to 10 mu m, and d6-d5 are more than 0 mu m and less than or equal to 10 mu m.
Specifically, with continued reference to fig. 4 and 5, in the two organic light emitting units 01 arranged along the second direction Y, a distance d6 is formed between a second inner edge 41c at the upper side of the second portion 41 of the organic light emitting layer 40 of the lower organic light emitting unit 01 and a second outer edge 41d at the lower side of the second portion 41 of the organic light emitting layer 40 of the upper organic light emitting unit 01. When 0 μm < d6-d4 is not less than 10 μm, that is, the width of the gap between the organic light emitting layer 40 of the lower organic light emitting unit 01 and the organic light emitting layer 40 of the upper organic light emitting unit 01 is greater than 0 μm and not more than 10 μm, so that no overlap between adjacent organic light emitting layers 40 arranged along the second direction Y can be ensured to avoid color mixing, and the gap width is not more than 10 μm can ensure that the density of the organic light emitting units 01 of the display panel 001 meets the requirement.

When 0 μm < d6-d5 is not less than 10 μm, that is, the width of the gap between the organic light emitting layer 40 of the upper organic light emitting unit 01 and the organic light emitting layer 40 of the lower organic light emitting unit 01 is greater than 0 μm and not more than 10 μm, so that no overlap between adjacent organic light emitting layers 40 arranged along the second direction Y can be ensured to avoid color mixing, and the gap width is not more than 10 μm can ensure that the density of the organic light emitting units 01 of the display panel 001 meets the requirement.
