The invention provides a transverse pressure rod type radiant heat starting spray head which comprises a body and a splash plate, wherein the body is tubular and is provided with external threads, the body and the splash plate are connected through a spray head frame, a sealing seat is arranged at the water outlet end of the body, and a starting assembly for starting the spray head is arranged on the body. According to the transverse pressure bar type radiant heat starting spray head, the temperature sensing element is arranged on the outermost side of the spray head, so that the temperature sensing element can absorb radiant heat without being blocked, the temperature sensing element can absorb convection heat and can also directly receive radiant heat emitted by a burning object, and the spray head can be quickly started.

Background
Traditional closed sprinkler head relies on absorbing convection heat, makes the temperature sensing element heat up, and when reaching the uniform temperature, the temperature sensing element action, the shower nozzle starts the water spray and puts out a fire. However, because the temperature sensing element of the traditional closed sprinkler head is installed in the sprinkler head frame and is blocked by the splash plate, the temperature sensing element cannot receive the radiant heat emitted by a burning object and can only absorb the convection heat when smoke flows through the sprinkler head. When the nozzle is installed at a position far away from the top plate or not installed on a path along which smoke flows, the temperature sensing element of the nozzle cannot absorb heat, so that the nozzle cannot be started. The temperature sensing element 7 comprises two metal sheets which are mutually lapped, the lapped parts are welded by fusible solder (the solder is 74-degree alloy solder purchased by Shanghai chart novel welding materials Co., Ltd.), and the two metal sheets are respectively provided with a first through hole 71. The two ends of each fixing hook 8 are respectively a connecting end and a fixing end, the connecting end is fixed with the body 1, and the fixing end extends between the body 1 and the splash pan and is positioned on the outer side of the edge of the splash pan 2 in the horizontal direction; the middle part of the transverse pressure rod 5 is arranged on the sealing seat, and two ends of the transverse pressure rod respectively extend to the lower part of the fixed end of the fixed hook.

Preferably, in this embodiment, the free end of the lower bent portion 43 is provided with a short top sheet 44 forming an acute angle with the lower bent portion, and the short top sheet 44 extends below the fixed end.
The fixed end of the fixed hook 8 is provided with a second through hole (not shown in the figure), the second through hole is internally provided with an adjusting screw 6, and the bottom of the adjusting screw 6 penetrates through the second through hole to abut against the short top plate 44.
In this embodiment, it is preferable that the stability of the entire head is improved, that the surfaces of both ends of the lateral pressing rod 5 are provided with grooves, and that the bottom ends of the lower bent portions abut against the grooves.
The pressure plate of the oblique pressure rod upwards supports against the adjusting screw 6 on the corresponding fixed hook, the lower bending part 43 of the oblique pressure rod 4 contacted with the fixed hook 8 downwards supports against the groove of the transverse pressure rod 5, so that the transverse pressure rod 5 generates a downward acting force, the transverse pressure rod 5 supports against the sealing seat, and the sealing seat 3 bears against the water outlet to play a role in sealing. After the nozzle is assembled, if the pressure generated by the transverse compression rod 5 to the seal seat 3 is small, and water leakage is possibly caused, the pressure of the adjusting screw 6 to the inclined compression rod 4 can be increased through the adjustment of the adjusting screw 6, the pressure to the transverse compression rod 5 can be increased through the inclined compression rod 4, and therefore the acting force to the seal seat 3 can be increased.
The metal sheet is made of a copper sheet, but other metal materials may be used.
Specifically, the fixing hook 8 is a C-shaped flat rod member, the transverse pressing rod 6 is a substantially straight flat rod member, and grooves are formed at two ends of the flat rod member. The working principle of the invention is as follows:
when a fire disaster happens, the temperature sensing element arranged on the outermost side of the top of the spray head is heated under the action of radiant heat, when the temperature is raised to a certain temperature, the solder between the metal sheets is melted, the two metal sheets are separated, the upper parts of the 2 inclined pressing rods 4 are not restrained, the upper parts of the 2 inclined pressing rods 4 move towards the direction far away from each other, the lower parts of the inclined pressing rods 4 are separated from the adjusting screws 6, and the acting force of the inclined pressing rods 4 on the transverse pressing rods 5 disappears. Therefore, the pressure of the transverse compression rod 5 on the sealing seat 3 disappears, and finally, the sealing seat 3 is pushed open by water pressure to extinguish fire.
