Description

Service control method, network device and storage medium
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of network communications technologies, and in particular, to a service control method, a network device, and a storage medium.
Background
Mobile communication has undergone a leap-type development from voice to data services, deeply changing people's life style, and greatly promoting rapid social and economic development. Mobile internet and internet of things are the main driving forces for future mobile communication development. In a typical mobile communication System, when a UE (User Equipment) accesses a System network, a CP (Control Plane) gateway of the System, an UP (User Plane) gateway, a BS (Billing System) and other devices are required to provide network services for the UE. The CP may be a network device such as a control plane of an SMF (Session Management Function ) under a 5G architecture or a PGW (PDN Gateway User Plane, packet data network gateway) under a 4G architecture.
The 3GPP standard defines a system architecture for separating the CP network element from the UP network element, and the separation of the CP network element and the UP network element is called CU separation for short. Under the 4G system architecture with CU separation, the original PGW is split into PGW-C and PGW-U, and the original SGW is split into SGW-C (PDN Gateway Control Plane packet data network gateway control plane) and SGW-U (PDN Gateway User Plane, packet data network gateway user plane). Under the CU separated 5G system architecture, SMF (Session Management Function ) and AMF (Access and Mobility Management Function, access and mobility management function) are CP and UPF (User Plan Function, user plane function) are UP.
The CP provides mobility management and session management functions for the UE, and ensures reliability of the data service. When the network equipment is abnormal, or the user defaults and other anomalies occur, the CP terminates the service of the user's data service, and interrupts the user's data service requirement for a period of time, during which the user can recharge, or perform network maintenance, and when the network equipment is changed into a normal state, or after the user recharge, the user uses the data service, and the CP controls the UP network equipment to timely recover the user's normal data service operation. However, during interruption of the data service, the user is forced to be disconnected, at this time, the user may frequently try to retry connection to the network, and repeat operations of attaching the initiating user to the BS, authenticating the BS, and the like, stress the network device, and easily cause message signaling storm caused by the BS and the CP system.

Detailed Description
In order to make the technical problems, technical schemes and beneficial effects to be solved more clear and obvious, the invention is further described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments. It should be understood that the particular embodiments described herein are illustrative only and are not limiting upon the invention.
As shown in fig. 1, the related art system of the present invention includes a UE, an UP gateway, a CP gateway, a BS, wherein:
and the BS is responsible for authentication and cost management of the user and transmits the state information or user quota information of the user to the CP system.
And the CP system is responsible for initiating the flows of authentication, quota application and the like of the user in the process of attaching the user or carrying out the service. And the processing strategy of the service message of the user terminal is also decided according to the instruction of the BS.
The UP system is responsible for receiving user message policies and also responsible for collecting user charging information when executing the policies of the CP gateway, setting a timer and discarding or releasing user messages.
As shown in fig. 2, the core of the embodiment of the present invention is that, by cooperation of the CP gateway and the UP gateway, the CP gateway issues parameters of the NPT timer of the CU separation protocol to the UP gateway, the NPT timer is added to the UP gateway, and during the period of validating the NPT timer, the user message is discarded or the user message is redirected according to the relevant policy. When the service of the user is interrupted, the normal use process of the service is recovered as follows:
after the service is interrupted, the CP gateway sends NPT information to the UP gateway through an interface separated from the CU gateway, the UP gateway sets the timer and related policy, and refuses the user message forwarding or redirects the message (such as redirecting to a recharging center of the operator) during the period that the timer is validated. It should be noted that the NPT timer duration may be issued by the BS or may be generated by CP gateway configuration.
And after the NPT timer is overtime, the UP gateway sets the message of the user to be forwarded, discarded or cached according to the overtime strategy of the NPT timer. The UP gateway judges whether a service starting trigger exists, if so, the service starting event is reported to the CP gateway, the CP gateway initiates a charging request message to the BS, and the general BS starts the flow.
Based on the above architecture, the following embodiments of the present invention are presented.
Example 1
As shown in fig. 3, a service control method provided by an embodiment of the present invention applies a CP gateway, where the method includes:
s301, sending a charging request message to the BS.
Specifically, when the UE successfully accesses the system, is in the process of data service or starts to use data service, the CP gateway sends a charging request message to the BS, where the charging request message may be a new service start message, a user traffic threshold arrival message, a user location update message, and so on.
S302, receiving a charging response message of the BS, wherein the charging response message carries a first message execution policy, and the first message execution policy comprises NPT and related policy information, or service interruption reasons, or UE quota.
Specifically, after receiving the charging request message, the BS checks whether there is permission to perform service, and returns to the first message to execute the policy according to the check result. If the user does not recharge or the BS network fails, the first message execution strategy comprises NPT and related strategy information or service interruption reasons, and the CP gateway is informed to prohibit the user from using the service. If the user has been recharged or the BS network fault is eliminated, the BS returns a successful structural code and the quota of the user, and informs the CP gateway to enable the user to continue using the service.
The service interruption may be interruption caused by arrearage of the user, or failure caused by network failure of the BS, or too high performance of the BS, which requires to terminate the service of some users. In these cases, the BS may instruct the CP gateway to interrupt the data traffic usage of the UE within the specified NPT. Accordingly, the condition for recovering the user service can be user recharging, network abnormality elimination or performance pressure elimination of the BS.
The related policies include NPT timer policies, NPT timer timeout policies, and/or traffic start triggers.
An NPT timer policy for setting rules for discarding or redirecting user messages during the NPT timer validation period;
and the NPT timer timeout strategy is used for releasing, reporting new service events, redirecting user messages or caching rules of the user messages after the NPT timer is set to timeout. Such as: the UP triggers the session message to report to the CP gateway, the CP gateway sends CCR to apply new quota, and the message passes the strategy during waiting for BS authentication.
And the service start trigger is used for triggering the service start event to report.
As a preferred way, the CP gateway sends the NPT and related policy information to the UP gateway via interfaces separate from the control plane and user plane CUs.
S303, a session modification request message is sent to the UP gateway, wherein the session modification request message carries a second message execution strategy; the second message execution policy includes NPT and related policy information, or UE quota.
Specifically, the CP gateway sends a second message execution policy to the UP gateway according to the first message execution policy issued by the BS, and notifies the UP gateway to process the user message according to the relevant policy.
In some embodiments, when the service is interrupted and the first message execution policy does not include NPT information, the CP gateway generates NPT and related policy information according to the cause of the service interruption.
Example two
As shown in fig. 4, a service control method provided by an embodiment of the present invention applies an UP gateway, where the method includes:
s401, receiving a session modification request message sent by the CP gateway, and acquiring a second message execution policy, wherein the second message execution policy comprises NPT and related policy information or UE quota.
Specifically, the NPT-related policies include an NPT timer policy, an NPT timer timeout policy, and/or a service start trigger.
An NPT timer policy for setting rules for discarding or redirecting user messages during the NPT timer validation period;
and the NPT timer timeout strategy is used for releasing, reporting new service events, redirecting user messages or caching rules of the user messages after the NPT timer is set to timeout. Such as: the UP triggers the session message to report to the CP gateway, the CP gateway sends CCR to apply new quota, and the message passes the strategy during waiting for BS authentication.
S402, when the service is interrupted, setting an NPT timer according to the NPT information, and discarding or redirecting the user message according to the related strategy during the period that the NPT timer is effective.
S403, when the NPT timer is overtime, the user message is processed according to the relevant strategy.
Example III
As shown in fig. 5, a service control method provided by an embodiment of the present invention is applied to a BS, and the method includes:
s501, after receiving a charging request message sent by a CP gateway, checking the use authority of the UE.
In particular, the charging request message may be a new service start message, a user traffic threshold arrival message, a user location update message, etc. After receiving the charging request message, the BS checks whether there is authority to conduct service, including authentication and fee checking.
S502, generating a first message execution strategy according to a verification result of the UE use permission, wherein the UE quota, or NPT and related strategy information, or service interruption reasons.
Specifically, the BS generates a first message execution policy according to the checking result, and if the user does not recharge or the BS network fails, the first message execution policy includes NPT and related policy information, or service interruption reason, and notifies the CP gateway to prohibit the user from using the service. Wherein the relevant policy information comprises an NPT timer timeout policy, and/or a service start trigger.
An NPT timer policy for setting rules for discarding or redirecting user messages during the NPT timer validation period;
and the NPT timer timeout strategy is used for releasing, reporting new service events, redirecting user messages or caching rules of the user messages after the NPT timer is set to timeout. Such as: the UP triggers the session message to report to the CP gateway, the CP gateway sends CCR to apply new quota, and the message passes the strategy during waiting for BS authentication.
