Abstract

The invention provides a method, a device and a mobile terminal for acquiring network capability through an IMS registration process. The terminal carries the self-supported capability of the terminal when initiating IMS registration, and the terminal subscribes a registration event to the network through the subscription message after the registration is successful, so that the network informs the registration state of the terminal and whether the capability network supported by the terminal supports or not through the registration event notification message, and which IMS services are opened by the current user, thereby the terminal does not need extra resources to acquire the configuration of the network terminal and the related capability and the opening condition of the IMS services, and the direct use of the terminal across areas and networks is realized.

Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of mobile communication technologies, and in particular, to a method, an apparatus, and a mobile terminal for obtaining network capability through an IMS registration procedure.
Background
With the development of 4G network deployment and the gradual commercial trend of 5G networks, application services based on IMS (intelligent core network Subsystem, system for performing media services over IP) will be more and more abundant. Because the support capability of the networks of various countries and regions to the IMS service is different, when the terminal supporting the IMS is used in different networks of various regions around the world, the capability of the current network needs to be known, so that whether the terminal can use some IMS services in the current network is determined, and meanwhile, although some IMS services are supported by the terminal, because the IMS services need to be paid and the user is not opened, when the user cannot use the IMS services, the user cannot timely know whether the network does not support or the user does not open the IMS services.
Currently, if a terminal supporting IMS needs to be used in a certain area, the configuration and related capabilities of a network side need to be obtained from a local network operator in advance, and then related settings are performed in the terminal in advance according to the obtained configuration and related capabilities of the network side. However, this method requires communication with the network operator in advance, which is not favorable for the direct use of the terminal under the network in each country and region. In addition, the terminal can also know the capability of the network terminal by sending an OPTIONS request to the network. However, this method requires an additional request message and the network server side needs to support handling the OPTIONS request; meanwhile, the method can only obtain the support capability of each service of the network server end and cannot know whether the user opens the service.
In summary, the existing method for acquiring network capability by an IMS terminal needs to consume additional resources to acquire the configuration and related capability of the network terminal, and is not favorable for direct use of the terminal across areas and networks. In addition, the current method can not directly know the conditions of the service opening and the service non-opening of the user terminal.
Disclosure of Invention
The method, the device and the mobile terminal for acquiring the network capability through the IMS registration process enable the terminal to acquire the configuration and the related capability of the network end and the opening condition of the IMS service without additional resources, so that the cross-area and cross-network direct use of the terminal is realized.
In a first aspect, the present invention provides a method for obtaining network capability through an IMS registration procedure, which is applied to a terminal supporting IMS, and the method includes:
sending an IMS registration request message carrying terminal support capability to a network terminal;
receiving a feedback message of successful terminal IMS registration sent by the network terminal;
sending a request message for subscribing a registration event to the network terminal;
receiving a feedback message sent by the network terminal that the terminal registration event is subscribed successfully;
receiving a first registration event notification message which is sent by the network end and carries the network support capability and the IMS service opened by the user;
and analyzing the first registration event notification message to acquire the network support capability and the IMS service opened by the user.
Optionally, when the service server of the network end is abnormal, causing the network end not to support the corresponding IMS service, or when the network end prohibits the user from using the corresponding IMS service due to user arrearage, receiving a second registration event notification message sent by the network end, which carries the fact that the service server of the network end is abnormal, causing the network end not to support the corresponding IMS service, or causing the network end to prohibit the user from using the corresponding IMS service due to user arrearage.

5) The network sends a notification message (NOTIFY) of the registration event to the terminal, wherein the XML message body carries information of the network support capability and which IMS services the user has already provided. in the example, in the XML message body of NOTIFY, the catalogue element contains all the capabilities of the terminal carried by the Contact header field in the REGISTER message body of the user. Wherein each capability element contains detailed information of one capability; if the name element attribute is video, the video call capability is represented, if the network element attribute is true, the network support is represented, and if the name element attribute is false, the network support is represented; the attribute of the user element is true, which indicates that the user has opened the function, and if the attribute is false, which indicates that the user has not opened the function. The terminal can obtain the capability network side supporting condition supported by the terminal and the IMS opening condition of the user by analyzing the XML message body, namely, which IMS services are opened by the user. The above XML message body is only an example and the patent includes but is not limited to this example.
6) After receiving the NOTIFY of the registration event, the terminal parses the XML message body to obtain the support condition of the capability network supported by the terminal and the opened IMS service condition of the user, and replies a 200OK response of the NOTIFY at the same time.
In addition, subsequently, if some service servers on the network side are abnormal, so that the network side does not support the corresponding IMS service, or some IMS service network sides are prohibited from being used by the user due to reasons such as arrearages and the like, the network side can also NOTIFY the terminal in real time through NOTIFY.
And when the user needs to initiate the IMS service, the terminal can display the current network support capability and whether the prompt message corresponding to the IMS service can be initiated according to the acquired network support capability and the IMS service which is opened by the user.
An embodiment of the present invention further provides a device for acquiring network capability through an IMS registration procedure, where the device is disposed in a terminal supporting an IMS, and as shown in fig. 3, the device includes:
a sending module, configured to send an IMS registration request message carrying terminal support capability to a network, and send a registration event subscription request message to the network;
a receiving module, configured to receive a feedback message that a terminal IMS registration is successful, which is sent by the network end, receive a feedback message that a terminal registration event subscription is successful, which is sent by the network end, and receive a first registration event notification message, which is sent by the network end and carries a network support capability and an IMS service that a user has opened;
and the analysis module is used for analyzing the first registration event notification message to acquire the network support capability and the IMS service opened by the user.
