Detailed Description
The technical solutions provided in the present application will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
FIG. 1 is a scanning system suitable for use in the present application. The scanning system includes a cloud 110, a POS machine 120, and a yard scanning gun 130.
The cloud 110 is, for example, a server on which a software platform using virtualization technology is installed, and the software platform integrates a plurality of functions such as search, download, use, management, backup, and the like. Through the platform, various common software can be packaged in an independent virtualization environment, so that application software and an operating system are decoupled, and the purpose of green software use is achieved.
The POS machine 120 can accelerate the cash receiving speed and correctness, and the basic principle thereof is: the method includes creating commodity data (unit price, department, discount.) in a computer file of the POS machine, and displaying the commodity data directly in the POS machine after a barcode on the commodity is read in by an optical reading device (for example, a barcode scanning gun 130).
The code scanning gun 130 can convert the two-dimensional code or the bar code on the commodity into information that can be identified by a computer according to a preset decoding mode, so as to manage, use, store and output the information, for example, the information can be transmitted to the POS machine 120 so as to be processed by the POS machine 120.
POS 120 may communicate with cloud 110 and may also communicate with a yard scanning gun 130, as indicated by the double-headed arrow in fig. 1. The communication method may be wireless communication or wired communication. For example, POS 120 may communicate with cloud 110 via fiber optics, or via a cellular network; the POS machine 120 and the code scanning gun 130 may communicate with each other via bluetooth or via a Universal Serial Bus (USB). In addition, the code scanning gun 130 may also communicate directly with the cloud 110 (not shown in fig. 1). The present application does not limit the communication method between the devices in the scanning system.
The scanning system shown in fig. 1 is only one example of a scanning system applicable to the present application, and the scanning system applicable to the present application is not limited thereto. For example, the POS 120 may be a mobile phone or a tablet computer, and the barcode scanner 130 may be a scanner with more functions.
Typically, the bar code scanner 130 used by the user and the POS 120 are two devices that are functionally matched as configured by the manufacturer. However, in some cases, the two devices may be mismatched.
For example, when a user changes the code scanning gun, the code scanning rate and the transmission rate of the new code scanning gun are generally faster, the receiving and processing rate of the POS machine 120 cannot keep up with the transmission rate of the new code scanning gun, and if the POS machine 120 or the new code scanning gun is not set, the problem of code scanning error may occur.
For another example, when the POS machine 120 has new upgradeable firmware, the POS machine 120 and the code scanning gun 130 may not be able to achieve better use effect without upgrading the POS machine 120.
Two examples of the mismatch between the code scanning gun 130 and the POS 120 are described above. For the user, no matter the POS machine 120 is set or a new code scanning gun is set or the firmware is upgraded, certain professional knowledge needs to be provided, and in addition, some two-dimensional codes containing setting information or upgrading information can be scanned, so that the difficulty of better code scanning effect of user experience is increased.
The application provides a method for adapting a scanning device, which can enhance the operability of the scanning device and reduce the difficulty of user experience in better code scanning effect.
As shown in fig. 2, the method 200 includes:
s210, detecting the scanning equipment and acquiring the equipment information of the scanning equipment.
Such as a scanning gun 130. The executing device of the method 200 may be the POS machine 120, and after the scan gun 130 is connected to the POS machine 120, for example, when the USB plug of the scan gun 130 is plugged into the USB interface of the POS machine 120, the POS machine 120 detects the scan gun 130 and reads the device information of the scan gun 130.
The device information may be hardware information, for example, Media Access Control (MAC) layer information of the scan gun 130; the device information may also be software information, such as firmware version information of the scan gun 130. The specific content of the device information is not limited in the present application.
And S220, judging whether the equipment information is matched with preset information.
The preset information is information pre-stored in the execution device of the method 200, and may be the same type of information as the device information or different type of information from the device information.
For example, the device information and the preset information are both MAC layer information, and when the device information is the same as the preset information, the execution device may determine that the device information matches the preset information; when the device information is different from the preset information, the execution device may determine that the device information does not match the preset information.
For another example, the device information is firmware version information, the preset information is a hash value, the execution device performs hash operation on the firmware version information after acquiring the firmware version information of the scanning device to obtain a hash value, and if the hash value is the same as the preset information, the execution device may determine that the device information matches the preset information; if the hash value is different from the preset information, the execution device may determine that the device information does not match the preset information.
If the device information matches the preset information, the execution device may not send an adaptation request, and the POS machine 120 may execute a scanning operation through the code scanning gun 130; if the device information does not match the preset information, the execution device may perform the following steps.
S230, when the device information does not match with preset information, sending an adaptation request, where the adaptation request is used to request to configure the scanning device.
The execution device may send an adaptation request to the cloud 110, requesting the cloud 110 to configure the scanning device, where the execution device may directly send the adaptation request to the cloud 110, or may forward the adaptation request through the code scanning device.
The cloud 110 may send an inquiry request to the scanning device or the executing device, inquiring about the status of the scanning device, for example, obtaining MAC layer information and/or firmware version information of the scanning device. Subsequently, the cloud 110 may send configuration information to the executing device, which may include at least one of the following parameters: scanning parameters and transmission parameters of the scanning device, reception parameters and processing parameters of an associated device of the scanning device.
As an optional implementation, the adaptation request includes device information of the scanning device and/or device information of an associated device of the scanning device, so that the cloud 110 does not need to send the query request again, thereby reducing signaling overhead of the executing device and the cloud 110, and increasing a rate of adapting the scanning device.
The associated device of the scanning device may be the POS machine 120, and the POS machine 120 performs setting based on the receiving parameter and the processing parameter in the configuration information, so as to improve the matching degree between the POS machine 120 and the scanning device. The device associated with the scanning device may also be another device capable of communicating with the scanning device, which is not limited in this application.
And S240, receiving configuration information.
S250, configuring the scanning equipment according to the configuration information.
Taking the execution device as the POS machine 120 as an example, after the POS machine 120 obtains the configuration information, if the configuration information includes the receiving parameter and the processing parameter of the POS machine 120, the POS machine 120 may configure the local parameter according to the receiving parameter and the processing parameter; if the configuration information includes the scan parameters and the transmission parameters of the code scanning gun 130, the POS machine 120 may send the scan parameters and the transmission parameters to the code scanning gun 130 so that the code scanning gun 130 configures the local parameters. According to the scheme, the scanning equipment does not need to be communicated with the cloud 110, and the cost of the scanning equipment is reduced.
In the scanning system applying the method 200, since the execution device can detect the device information of the scanning device after the scanning device is powered on, and execute the step of matching the scanning device when the device information is not matched with the preset information, no user intervention is required, and therefore, the method 200 can enhance the operability of the scanning device and reduce the difficulty of user experience in better code scanning effect.
The method for adapting a scanning device provided by the present application is described in detail above from the perspective of a terminal device, and processing steps of a server (i.e., a cloud) in the method for adapting a scanning device provided by the present application will be described below.
As shown in fig. 3, the method 300 includes:
s310, receiving an adaptation request, wherein the adaptation request is used for requesting to configure the scanning device.
The execution device of the method 300 may be the cloud 110, or may be a chip in the cloud 110. The cloud 110 may receive an adaptation request from the POS machine 120 or the code scanning gun 130, which has the same meaning as the adaptation request in the method 200 and will not be described herein for brevity.
After the cloud 110 obtains the adaptation request, the following steps may be performed.
S320, according to the equipment information of the scanning equipment, determining the configuration information corresponding to the equipment information of the scanning equipment from at least one configuration information.
For example, the cloud 110 may search for configuration information corresponding to the device information of the code scanning gun 130 from a locally stored database, where the database is a set of configuration information including the code scanning gun, the set of configuration information includes at least one model and at least one piece of configuration information, and the at least one model corresponds to the at least one piece of configuration information one to one; the device information is the model of the code scanning gun 130, the cloud 110 determines target configuration information from at least one configuration information in the database according to the model of the code scanning gun 130, and the target configuration information is the configuration information of which the associated model is the same as the model of the code scanning gun 130.
Cloud 110 may also determine configuration information for POS 120 in a similar manner from a database containing configuration information for associated devices.
For example, the tester determines the configuration parameters of the code scanning gun 130 and the configuration parameters of the POS machine 120 based on the code scanning rate of the code scanning gun 130, the data transmission rate between the code scanning gun 130 and the POS machine 120, and the processing rate of the POS machine 120, and stores the two configuration parameters and the device information (e.g., device model) of the code scanning gun 130 and the POS machine 120 into the database, where the four pieces of information correspond one to form a set of information, and after the cloud 110 receives a request message including the device information of the code scanning gun 130 and/or the POS machine 120, the configuration parameters, that is, the configuration information, of the code scanning gun 130 and/or the POS machine 120 can be uniquely determined.
After the cloud 110 determines the configuration information, the following steps may be performed.
S330, sending configuration information, wherein the configuration information is used for configuring the scanning equipment.
The specific process of configuring the scanning device may refer to the related description in the method 200, and is not described herein again.
In the scanning system applying the method 300, the execution device of the method 300 can select appropriate configuration information from the database after acquiring the adaptation request without user intervention, and therefore, the method 300 can enhance the operability of the scanning device and reduce the difficulty of user experience of better code scanning effect.
