Referring to fig. 2, an embodiment of the present invention provides an application recommendation method applied to an electronic device, which may include steps 201 to 202 described below.
Step 201, acquiring N target program icons pushed by a first application program.
Wherein N is a positive integer.
Optionally, the N target program icons may be obtained from an application market, may be application program icons of the same type as the first application program, or may be other application program icons related to the first application program. For example, if the first application is a diet type application, the same application icon as the first application type may be obtained; other application icons related to the first application, such as an application icon of a trip class, an application icon of a photography class, and the like, may also be obtained, where the application of the trip class is related to the first application and the application of the photography class is related to the first application.
Step 202, displaying M first identifiers in an icon display area of the first application icon, where one first identifier is used to indicate at least one target program icon.
Wherein N and M are positive integers, and M is less than or equal to N.
Optionally, M first identifiers are displayed in an icon display area of the first application icon. The icon display area is an area where the icon of the first application icon is located.
Optionally, after the original display content in the icon display area is removed, the M first identifiers are displayed in the icon display area, that is, the first application icon is not displayed in the icon display area of the first application icon, and only the M first identifiers are displayed in the icon display area of the first application icon. Or, a window may be superimposed on the first application icon, and the window covers the first application icon, and the M first identifiers are displayed in the window. After the transparency of original display content in the icon display area is changed, a window is overlaid on the first application program icon, and M first marks are displayed in the window. Of course, the present invention is not limited to the above-listed cases, and may be determined according to practical situations, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited thereto.
Optionally, a first identifier is used to indicate a target program icon pushed by at least one first application program. A first indicator may be used to indicate one program icon, or may be used to indicate two, three or more program icons, and other indication manners are also included in the scope of the present invention.
The application program recommendation method of the embodiment of the invention acquires N target program icons pushed by a first application program, and then displays M first marks in an icon display area of the first application program icon, wherein one first mark is used for indicating at least one target program icon. Therefore, the scheme can more intuitively display the relevant recommendation information of the application program, so that the user can conveniently and quickly find the designated program.
Optionally, the obtaining N target program icons pushed by the first application in step 201 may specifically include:

Alternatively, the application information may be the usage of at least one application already installed by the electronic device acquired by the user, including but not limited to collecting the frequency of usage of the application by the user, the time period of usage, or other applications in use while using the application.
Step 2012, pushing the target program icon according to the obtained application program information. The application program recommendation method provided by the embodiment of the invention can be used for pushing the related application program icons according to the information of the installed application programs.
Optionally, different algorithms may be used for pushing the target program icon according to the obtained application program information.
Specifically, the user has a high frequency of using a certain application program, and can push an application program icon related to a topic to the application program; the user may push an application icon with a high download volume to an application program, and may also push other application icons and the like to the application program, where the application icon is installed by a person who installs the application.
Illustratively, the user starts a related recommendation function of the application program a, the electronic device obtains a use condition of the application program a used by the user, and when the use frequency exceeds a set threshold, an algorithm is automatically called to obtain the pushed N target program icons. It should be noted that the threshold may be a default, or may be set by a user, and may be used 10 times in a week, may be used 50 times in a month, or may be used 20 times in 10 days, and of course, the value of the threshold is not limited thereto, and may be determined specifically according to actual situations, and all of them are included in the protection scope of the present invention.
Optionally, step 2012 may be preceded by receiving a user touch input to the first application, including but not limited to a click touch input, a double click touch input, a swipe touch input, a long press touch input, etc. to the first application icon.
For example, the electronic device receives an input of a user to the first application program, and when the type of the first application program is a music video type, icons of application programs of other music video types can be pushed to the user.
Alternatively, the user may be reminded to process applications that are used less frequently by changing the color of their icons and push the more popular icons of the target programs.
Optionally, the displaying M first identifiers in the icon display area of the first application icon includes:
under the condition that the icon display area comprises M sub-areas, displaying one first mark in each sub-area;
or, sequentially displaying each first identifier in the M first identifiers according to a preset time interval.
Optionally, the area size of the M sub-regions may be a fixed numerical value, or may be set according to the number of pushed target program icons. The values of the area of the M sub-regions may be the same or different, and may be specifically set according to actual conditions, which is not limited in this embodiment of the present invention. It should be noted that the positional relationship of the M sub-regions may be determined according to actual situations, for example, when the value of M is 2, the positions of the two sub-regions may be one above the other, or one left and one right, and other positions are included in the protection scope of the present invention.
