Description

Cleaning system
Technical Field
The invention relates to a cleaning system having a bucket and a cleaning device comprising a mop head, wherein the mop head has a support body and a cleaning rim fixed on the support body, wherein the support body is connected to a rod on its side facing away from the cleaning rim, and a washing device arranged in the bucket for washing the cleaning rim, said washing device having a basket which can be set in an upward and downward movement by means of a first actuating device; and a centrifugal separation device arranged in the tub for centrifugally spin-drying the cleaning edging, the centrifugal separation device comprising a basket which is placeable in a rotational movement by means of a second handling device; and a centering mandrel arranged for centering of the cleaning device in the basket; wherein the support body is essentially disk-shaped and has a peripheral boundary and a maximum extent d1 between two mutually opposite peripheral regions, wherein the basket is rotationally symmetrical and has a maximum first inner clear width d2 and a first ratio d2: d1 ≧ 1.5.
Background
Such a cleaning system is known from WO2016083281a 1. The cleaning system comprises a watering device for the cleaning appliance and a rotatable dewatering basket, wherein the dewatering device has a fresh water container which can be filled with fresh water and which is fluidically connected to the dewatering basket via a fresh water line. The fresh water container is formed in a ring shape and surrounds the dewatering basket on the outer circumferential side. The fresh water container has an upper side and a lower side, wherein the upper side has a filling opening for fresh water and the lower side has a connection for a fresh water line. The dewatering basket has a fresh water dome which is fluidly connected with the fresh water line guide and curves forward into the dewatering basket. The fresh water dome has a base and a circumferential wall, wherein the base is designed in a fluid-tight manner and the circumferential wall has recesses which can be traversed substantially radially outward by the fresh water during a specific application of the dewatering device. Furthermore, the fresh-water line comprises a flow-through valve which can be arranged in the flow direction between the fresh-water container and the fresh-water dome. Depending on whether the cleaning device is to be cleaned with fresh water or dried, the flow-through valve can be actuated correspondingly. This operation is carried out in such a way that the cleaning device is attached with its cleaning rim to the top of the fresh water dome. The flow through valve can be brought into an open position by applying pressure axially to the dewatering basket. When the dewatering basket is unloaded, the flow-through valve can be brought into the closed position by a spring force.
Further cleaning systems are generally known, wherein the cleaning system comprises, in addition to the tub, a cleaning device having a mop head, wherein the mop head has a support body and a cleaning rim which is fastened to the support body, wherein the mop head is connected to a handle on its side facing away from the cleaning rim. The previously known cleaning system additionally has a wringing device with a wringing basket of funnel-shaped design.
The wringer device can be detached without damage and clipped onto the upper edge of the bucket in a form-fitting manner. The mop head can be loaded from above into the wringing basket and then pressed into the basket by means of the rod. Here, the cleaning liquid is pressed out of the cleaning rim.
When the mop head is pressed into the wringing basket, the mop head reduces its outer diameter by the hinged web in proportion to the pressure applied to the mop head by the user via the shaft.
Thereby additionally assisting the pressing out of the cleaning liquid from the cleaning rim.
The operation of the previously known cleaning systems is less comfortable, since a significant force is required, so that the cleaning rim can be wrung out sufficiently strongly, in particular so that sensitive surfaces can be cleaned subsequently with only slightly wet cleaning rims.
Cleaning systems are also known which comprise a centrifugal separation device arranged in a tub for a cleaning rim of a centrifugal drying cleaning apparatus. The centrifugal separation device has a basket which can be set in a rotational movement, for example by actuating a foot pedal.
The mop head of the cleaning device has a support body, the diameter of which corresponds substantially to the inner clear width of the basket and therefore covers the opening of the basket virtually completely. The cleaning rim is arranged in an axial direction of the basket in a compressed manner between the support body and the bottom of the basket.
Furthermore, cleaning systems are known in which a centering spindle is provided in the tub, onto which a mop head for a spin-drying cleaning rim can be slipped directly. In order to place the mop head in rotational motion, a foot pedal can be provided as an operating device or a lever that functions in the manner of a drilling machine. Such cleaning systems do not have a basket.
For centrifugal separation of the cleaning edging, the mop head is set in a rotating motion by means of a manipulator. By centrifugal force, the cleaning rim extends in radial direction away from the support body and the rod towards the delimiting wall of the tub.
As long as the cleaning rim as a whole has a radial extension which is smaller than the diameter of the tub in this region, the centrifugal spinning of the cleaning rim functions sufficiently well.
For an effective and rapid cleaning of the surface to be cleaned, however, a relatively long cleaning edge is advantageous, so that as large a surface as possible can be cleaned in a small number of steps.
For an effective and rapid centrifugal spinning of the cleaning rim, it is necessary that the cleaning rim does not contact the delimiting wall of the tub surrounding the centering spindle during its rotation around the centering spindle.
This contact of the delimiting walls of the tub results in the rotation of the mop head being undesirably braked, a high force being required for maintaining the rotation and the centrifugal spinning of the cleaning rim therefore acting only insufficiently.
In order to avoid the aforementioned disadvantages, the tub may have a very large diameter, which is dimensioned such that the long cleaning edging does not contact the tub also during the spin drying. However, such kegs have undesirably large dimensions and are practically inoperable by hand on account of their large volume.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the invention is to further develop a cleaning system of the previously known type in such a way that it has very good use properties despite its compact dimensions, in particular in compact tubs and compact baskets, the long cleaning rim of the cleaning appliance can first be thoroughly washed and then spin-dried well and the cleaning appliance can be cleaned quickly and efficiently during its intended use owing to the relatively long cleaning rim having a large wiping area and thus also large surfaces.
This object is achieved according to the invention by a cleaning system having the features of the invention.
To solve this object, a cleaning system is provided, which has: a bucket and a cleaning device comprising a mop head, wherein the mop head has a support body and a cleaning rim fastened to the support body, wherein the support body is connected to a rod on its side facing away from the cleaning rim; and a washing device arranged in the tub for washing the cleaning border; having a basket which can be set in upward and downward movement by means of a first operating device; and a centrifugal separation device arranged in the tub for centrifugal spinning of the cleaning rim, the centrifugal separation device having a basket which can be set in a rotational motion by means of a second handling device; and a centering mandrel arranged for centering of the cleaning device in the basket; wherein the supporting body is essentially disk-shaped and has a peripheral boundary and a maximum extent d1 between two mutually opposite peripheral regions, wherein the basket is rotationally symmetrical and comprises a maximum first inner clear width d2 and a first ratio d2: d1> 1.5.
It is advantageous here that the cleaning system has good use properties and that the cleaning rim of the cleaning device in the cleaning system according to the invention can be both thoroughly washed and subsequently spin-dried effectively and comfortably.
To implement the function, the following is implemented:
for washing the cleaning edging, the cleaning device is inserted with its mop head into the basket of the washing apparatus. The basket is lowered in the tub as far as possible and more precisely into the cleaning liquid received in the tub.
In order to be able to wash the cleaning rim, it is necessary that the cleaning rim is sufficiently wetted by the cleaning liquid during the washing process and has good mobility relative to one another and can float freely in the cleaning liquid, if possible.
It is not intended to guide the cleaning edging between the support body and the basket in a manner pressing them against one another. By virtue of the now no longer present or at least strongly limited mobility relative to one another, the cleaning edging can no longer be thoroughly washed.
For this reason, it is advantageous if the ratio d2: d 1.gtoreq.1.5. This ratio ensures that an annular space remains in each case in the radial direction between the outer periphery of the support body and the periphery of the basket, which annular space is open upward. During the washing of the cleaning rims, they can move relatively freely relative to one another and the upwardly open annular space prevents the cleaning rims from being pressed against one another and thus not being washed sufficiently thoroughly.
Following the washing of the cleaning rim in the washing device, the basket located deep in the tub is set in an upward movement by the first actuating device in such a way that the basket is located above the water level in the tub. The same basket, which now was previously an integral part of the washing apparatus, forms an integral part of the centrifugal separation apparatus.
The mop head together with the previously washed cleaning rim is now set in a rotational movement together with the basket for spin-drying by the second manipulating device. The cleaning rim is also stored in the basket for spin-drying when it has, in its entirety, a maximum radial extension greater than the dimensions of the tub and may thus not contact the delimiting wall of the tub.
With a relatively low force consumption, the basket can be set in a rapid rotational movement by the second actuating device, so that the cleaning rim is spun dry efficiently, i.e. very largely in a short time.
By means of the first embodiment according to the invention, a long cleaning rim can also be washed well first and then centrifuged dry efficiently in a compact tub and a compact basket.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the first ratio can be set to 1.5 to 2.5. It is advantageous here that the annular space described above and required for good use properties during washing is always obtained. If the first ratio is in this case considerably greater than 2.5, the cleaning apparatus can no longer be thoroughly washed in an acceptable time on the one hand due to its very long cleaning rim.
On the other hand, it is no longer good to operate the cleaning device for wiping the surface to be cleaned. The cleaning device is inconvenient to use and heavy in such a situation.
The cleaning edge projecting radially from the support body, as a function of production, has a maximum radial extent d3, the second ratio d3: d2> 1.
Further preferably, the second ratio is 1.25 to 1.75.
It is clear from such a ratio that the length of the cleaning rim may be larger than the diameter of the basket. In the centrifugal spin-drying of the cleaning rim, the cleaning rim is held in the basket and it is avoided that the cleaning rim contacts the delimiting wall of the tub during the centrifugal spin-drying and the rotational movement is thereby braked.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the tub can surround the basket at a radial distance and, viewed on the rotational axis of the basket, has a second inner clear width d4 and a third ratio d3: d4> 1.
It is further preferred that the third ratio is 1.25 to 1.75.
The second and third ratios are substantially the same. This is provided in particular if the basket has a first inner clear width d2 which is as large as possible, in order to be able to accommodate also a large number of long cleaning rims without problems. The first inner clear width d2 is greatest when it actually corresponds to the second inner clear width d4 of the bucket.
If the third ratio is significantly greater than 1.75, the operation of the cleaning device is less satisfactory as explained earlier due to the now very long cleaning edging.
The support body and the basket can define an annular space which is formed in a substantially circular ring shape, wherein the annular space has a radial width W and wherein the fourth ratio W: d3 ≧ 0.25. The fourth ratio is particularly preferably 0.33 to 0.67. By such a ratio it is ensured that the cleaning rims are always sufficiently free and movable relative to each other when being washed in the washing apparatus. The cleaning rim is least significantly impeded in its mobility by the upwardly open annular space of the support body. When the cleaning rims have the greatest volume by receiving the cleaning liquid at the most, they are also not undesirably strongly pressed against one another, but can be deflected upwards as required by the annular space.
The centering spindle is preferably arranged in the rotational axis of the basket, wherein the centering spindle and the basket are connected to one another in a non-destructive, releasable and force-and/or form-locking manner.
The basket can be connected to the centering spindle, for example, by a snap-on connection. This latching connection ensures that the basket can be adjusted in height by the first actuating device by means of the centering spindle by moving it upwards and downwards in the tub.
The first actuating device can be formed by a lever comprising at least one hinge, wherein the centering spindle is arranged on one side of the hinge and the first actuating pedal is arranged on the other side of the hinge. The operating pedal may be configured as a foot pedal. In this way, it is possible without problems for the user of the cleaning system to hold the cleaning device on the shaft with both hands and to operate the operating pedal with the foot during the washing and the subsequent spin-drying.
The basket may be disposed highest in the tub and completely above a substantially average water level in the tub when the first manipulating device is manipulated. The basket is placed in a centrifugation position within the tub by manipulating the first manipulating means. In order to be able to centrifuge the cleaning device as quickly and efficiently as possible, it is expedient if the basket is arranged completely outside the cleaning liquid in the tub for the centrifugal spin drying of the cleaning rim.
The basket may be disposed lowermost in the tub and at least partially below a substantially average water level in the tub when the first manipulating device is not manipulated. Further preferably, the basket may be disposed in the tub completely below a substantially average water level in the tub when the first manipulating means is not manipulated. It is advantageous here that the mop head and thereby also the cleaning rim are completely immersed in the cleaning liquid during washing. The washing of the cleaning edging therefore takes place particularly quickly and thoroughly.
The second actuating device can be formed by a second actuating pedal and has a transmission for converting a translational movement of the second actuating pedal into a rotational movement of the basket.
In view of the simple and inexpensive design of the cleaning system, in particular in view of the low component count of the cleaning system, the first actuating device and the second actuating device can be combined in a common actuating pedal. The operation of the cleaning system is thereby also facilitated for the user.
The second actuating device can, for example, be of a non-carrying nature, so that the basket with the mop head arranged therein is driven once, at least for a short time, in rotation even when the actuating pedal is not actuated.
The tub may have an inner height that is maximally fillable with cleaning liquid, which substantially corresponds to two times the height of a substantially average water level in the tub and substantially two times the height of the basket. Such a dimensional ratio has proven to be advantageous in particular because one and the same cleaning system can be used for washing the cleaning rim on the one hand and for washing the cleaning rim in the cleaning liquid before the centrifugal spin drying on the other hand. The cleaning edging is ideally completely immersed in the cleaning liquid during washing. During the centrifugation, the cleaning edge to be centrifuged is ideally no longer in contact with the cleaning liquid in the tub.
Drawings
Embodiments of the cleaning system according to the invention are explained further below with the aid of fig. 1 to 3.
Figures 1 to 3 are each shown in a schematic view,
fig. 1 shows a tub comprising a washing device and a centrifugal separation device, wherein the washing device is in operation in fig. 1;
FIG. 2 shows the basket of FIG. 1 as a part;
fig. 3 shows the cleaning system of fig. 1, wherein the centrifugal separation device is in operation in fig. 3.
Detailed Description
The same cleaning system is shown in fig. 1 and 3 in different operating states.
In fig. 1, a washing device 8 is shown in operation for washing the cleaning edge 5, in contrast to fig. 3, a centrifugal separation device 12 is shown for washing the cleaning edge 5 prior to centrifugal drying.
The cleaning system has a tub 1, which in the embodiment shown here is made of a polymer material. Furthermore, the cleaning system has a cleaning device 2 in the form of a rimmed mop, wherein the cleaning device 2 has a mop head 3. The mop head 3 itself has a support 4 and a cleaning edging 5 secured to the support 4. On its side 6 facing away from the cleaning edge 5, the support body 4 is connected to a lever 7, wherein the lever 7 is connected to the support body 4 in this example by a joint of a universal joint.
In the tub 1, a washing device 8 and a centrifugal separation device 12 are provided.
The washing device 8 is provided for washing the cleaning edging 5.
The centrifugal separation device 12 is arranged opposite thereto for centrifugally drying the cleaning edge 5.
A decisive component of both the washing device 8 and the centrifugal separation device 12 is a common basket 11 which can be placed in the upward and downward movement 10 as a component of the washing device 8 by means of the first actuating device 9 and in the rotational movement 14 as a component of the centrifugal separation device 12 by means of the second actuating device 13.
The two actuating devices 9, 13 can be combined, for example, in one structural unit or mounted separately from one another.
In the embodiment shown here, a centering spindle 15 is provided for centering not only the cleaning appliance 2 in the basket 11 but also the basket 11 in the tub 1.
To implement the function, the following is implemented:
for washing the cleaning edging 5, the cleaning device 2 is inserted with its mop head 3 into the basket 11 of the washing apparatus 8. The basket 11 is lowered in the tub 1 as far as possible and, more precisely, completely into the cleaning liquid 28 in the tub 1.
In order to be able to wash the cleaning rims 5 thoroughly, it is necessary that the cleaning rims have good mobility relative to one another during the washing process and can float freely in the cleaning liquid 28, as a result of the possibility.
The first ratio d2: d1 is not less than 1.5.
By means of the first described ratio, it is ensured in each case that an annular space 21 remains in the radial direction between the outer periphery of the supporting body 4 and the periphery of the basket 11, said annular space being open upward. During the washing of the cleaning rims 5, they can therefore be moved particularly well relatively freely relative to one another, and the annular space 21 which is open upwards prevents the cleaning rims 5 from being pressed against one another, interfering with one another in terms of their relative movability and thus being unable to be washed effectively.
The ratios are then decisive in combination with one another for the fact that one and the same cleaning system can be used very well for washing the cleaning rim 5 on the one hand and for spin-drying the cleaning rim 5 on the other hand.
In the following, it is always considered that the cleaning rims 5 to be washed can be relatively unaffected and freely moved relative to each other in the washing device 8.
The previously washed cleaning edging 5 should be spun dry in the centrifugal separation device 12 as quickly and well as possible.
In the exemplary embodiment shown here, the basket 11 is formed by a circular base and by a circular outer casing connected to the base. The basket 11 is of a uniform material, is made of a polymer material and is water permeable.
d1 denotes the diameter of the supporting body 4, d2 denotes the diameter of the basket 11, and d3 denotes the diameter of the cleaning rim 5 projecting radially from the supporting body 4, wherein the radial extension is measured as a whole, i.e. from one free end of the cleaning fibers 5 through the supporting body 4 to the diametrically opposite free end of the cleaning fibers 5. d4 denotes the diameter of the tub 1 in the region of the basket 11, the tub 1 being of substantially oval design in the exemplary embodiment shown here.
W denotes the radial width of the annular space 21, which is delimited in the radial direction internally by the support body 4 and in the radial direction externally by the housing of the basket 11.
In the embodiment shown here, the first ratio is 1.5 to 2.5, the second ratio is 1.25 to 1.75, and the third ratio is the same. The fourth ratio is here in the embodiment shown about 0.5.
In particular in the case of centrifugal spinning of the cleaning rim 5 in the centrifugal separation device 12, it is particularly advantageous that the cleaning rim 5 does not touch the delimiting wall of the tub by the cleaning rim 5 being arranged in the basket 11.
In fig. 1, the basket 11 is shown when the first manipulating device 9 is not manipulated, wherein the basket 11 and the mop head 3 arranged in the basket 11 are arranged lowermost and completely below the mean water level 25 in the tub 1.
The cleaning edging is largely free to float within the cleaning liquid 28 and is thus well washed.
In fig. 3, the first manipulating means 9 is manipulated and the basket 11 and the mop head 3 are disposed in the tub 1 highest and completely above the mean water level 25.
The entire cleaning system has a simple and low-component construction and is therefore simple and inexpensive to produce, has a relatively low weight for many functionalities and is capable of good operation.
In fig. 2, the basket 11 of fig. 1 and 3 is shown as a part.
The basket 11 is an integral part of not only the washing device 8 but also the centre of the centrifugal separation device 12. Reference numeral 20 denotes the axis of rotation and reference numeral 30 denotes the height of the basket 11. The mop head 3 is arranged into use along the axis of rotation 20 during the intended use of the cleaning system.
