Abstract
The invention relates to a current transformer with a novel structure and a manufacturing method thereof, and the current transformer comprises a shell, a magnetic ring, a primary side winding, a secondary side winding, a potting material and a fixing adhesive, wherein the shell is an annular body with a hollow cylinder arranged at the center position inside and a square shell outside, a through hole is arranged in one side wall of the upper end surface of the shell, the hollow cylinder is connected with the through hole through a long circular groove on the top end surface of the shell, three protruding pins are arranged at the bottom end of the shell, the secondary side winding is uniformly wound on the magnetic ring and horizontally arranged in the annular body inside the shell, the start and tail ends of the secondary side winding are respectively connected on the two pins on the shell, the primary side winding is inserted into the hollow cylinder and the through hole from the top end of the shell. The effect is small, easy operation, simple to operate satisfy the ann rule requirement, utilizes the novel structure of shell to keep apart primary side winding and secondary side winding to carry out the embedment to the secondary side winding, guaranteed that two windings are withstand voltage and creepage distance between.

Background
The current transformer is composed of a closed iron core and a winding according to the principle of electromagnetic induction. The primary side winding of the transformer has few turns and is connected in series in a circuit of current to be measured, so that the transformer usually has all current of the circuit flowing through, and the secondary side winding has more turns and is connected in series in a measuring instrument and a protection circuit. The switching power supply needs to meet the requirements of safety regulations, so that the primary side and the secondary side of a current transformer in the switching power supply need to meet certain creepage distance and higher voltage withstanding requirements, and the conventional structure is difficult to meet the requirements of larger creepage distance and higher voltage withstanding.

The novel structure of the shell is utilized to isolate the primary side winding from the secondary side winding, the secondary side winding is encapsulated, the encapsulation material increases the insulation of the primary side winding and the secondary side winding, the creepage distance between the primary side winding and the secondary side winding is ensured, the voltage resistance of the primary side winding and the secondary side winding is enhanced, and the novel structure is convenient to install, small in size and easy to meet safety requirements.

Example one
Taking a current transformer D12.7-49 as an example, a primary side winding 3 is a phi 1.2mm tinned copper wire, a secondary side winding 4 is a phi 0.2 polyurethane enameled wire, firstly, the phi 0.2 polyurethane enameled wire is uniformly wound on a magnetic ring 2 for 100 circles to serve as the secondary side winding 4, then, the starting end and the tail end of the secondary side winding are subjected to tin ironing treatment, after the treatment, the tin ironing and circle number testing is carried out, the secondary side winding is horizontally arranged in an annular body in a shell 1, the starting end and the tail end of the secondary side winding 4 are connected to two different pins 1-4 of the shell 1, the annular body of the shell 1 is encapsulated and solidified by an encapsulating material 5, after the encapsulation and solidification, the phi 1.2mm tinned copper wire of the primary side winding 3 is inserted into a hollow cylinder 1-1 and a through hole 1-2 reserved on the shell 1 and extends out of the through hole, is fixed in a groove 1-3 by fixing glue 6 and dried, and (4) carrying out processes of tin ironing twice, labeling, rechecking and the like, and finally carrying out factory inspection, and inspecting the performance and the appearance, wherein the product is qualified when the requirements are met.
