Detailed Description
So that the manner in which the features and aspects of the embodiments of the present invention can be understood in detail, a more particular description of the embodiments of the invention, briefly summarized above, may be had by reference to the embodiments, some of which are illustrated in the appended drawings. In the following description of the technology, for purposes of explanation, numerous details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the disclosed embodiments. However, one or more embodiments may be practiced without these details. In other instances, well-known structures and devices may be shown in simplified form in order to simplify the drawing.
A consumable chip according to an embodiment of the present invention is described below with reference to fig. 1 and 2.
Fig. 1 is a block diagram of a consumable chip according to one embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 1, the consumable chip 100 includes a printed circuit board 10, a first chip 1 and a second chip 2, both the first chip 1 and the second chip 2 are disposed on the printed circuit board 10, and the first chip 1 includes a communication terminal connected to an imaging device 200; the first chip 1 stores first consumable information; the second chip 2 stores second consumable information; when it is determined that the consumables are exhausted according to the first consumable information, second consumable information is triggered to be fed back to the image forming apparatus 200 in place of the first consumable information. The first chip 1 stores first consumable information including at least a first serial number. The second chip 2 stores second consumable information including at least a second serial number.
The first consumable information may further include a usage amount and/or a remaining amount, etc. When the consumable chip works normally, the first chip 1 realizes communication with the imaging device 200, and can provide the first consumable information to the imaging device 200, in the embodiment of the present invention, when the consumable stored in the first chip 1 is exhausted, the first chip 1 triggers the second chip 2 to perform data interaction with the imaging device 200, and communicates the second consumable information of the second chip 2 with the imaging device 200, such as a printer, a copier, and the like, so that the second stored information includes the second serial number as recorded information to be transmitted to the imaging device 200, thereby avoiding that the imaging device 200 directly reads the first serial number of the first chip 1, but records the serial number of the second chip 2, that is, the serial number of the first chip 1 cannot be memorized. When the usage amount and/or the remaining amount of the first chip 1 are/is restored to the initial value, when the first chip 1 is used together with the second chip 2 again, the imaging device 200 considers that the first chip 1 is not used, and therefore the second chip 2 with different second serial numbers can be recycled only by the serial number of the first chip 1 in a limited set, and therefore the production cost of consumable chips is reduced. The first chip refers to a chip having a first serial number, and the first serial number is not a serial number recorded by the imaging apparatus. The number of the first serial numbers may be less than the number of the first chips 1. The first sequence number may also be only one. That is, there may be a plurality of first chips 1 having the same first serial number. The second chip 2 refers to a chip that can issue a second serial number to the imaging device 200 for recording, and each second chip usually has a unique second serial number.
Further, in the embodiment where the first chip 1 may be a compatible chip and the second chip 2 may be an original chip, since the original chip is a recycled old chip, the remaining amount of consumables recorded in the chip is zero, and when the imaging apparatus 200 requests recording of a serial number of a compatible chip, the imaging apparatus 200 is "spoofed" by using the original chip serial number as the serial number of the compatible chip, so that the imaging apparatus 200 records the original chip serial number as the compatible chip serial number, and it is considered that the compatible chip has been used, and the serial number of the actual compatible chip thereof is recorded. Therefore, the compatible chip can be combined with other original chips and then continuously used by the imaging device 200, so that the compatible chip only needs a limited serial number, and the development cost of consumable chips is reduced. And, the second chip 2, for example, a discarded original chip can be utilized reasonably, and the pollution of the second chip 2 to the environment can be reduced. The second serial number is a self serial number of the original chip, and the number of the second serial number is equal to that of the original chip. The first serial number may also be the serial number of the original chip. As a preferable scheme, in this embodiment, the first serial number is different from the second serial number. The first serial number and the second serial number are both serial numbers that can be recognized as legitimate by the image forming apparatus 200. When the consumables of the first chip 1 are judged to be exhausted according to the first consumable information, only the second consumable information is recorded by the imaging device 200, namely the imaging device 200 only records the second serial number, and the serial number of the first chip 1 cannot be recorded, so that the first chip 1 can still be used with the second chip 2 again, the imaging device 200 still considers that the first chip 1 is unused, and the second chip 2, such as a waste original chip, can be repeatedly utilized, therefore, the recycling of the second chip can be realized only by the serial number of the first chip with a limited set, the utilization rate of the waste original chip is improved, and the cost and time for obtaining the usable serial number are reduced.
In an embodiment, the first chip 1 further includes a connection terminal connected to the second chip 2, and before determining that the consumable of the first chip 1 is exhausted according to the first consumable information, the second chip 2 is in a sleep state to avoid transmitting the consumable information of the second chip 2 to the imaging device 200, so that the imaging device 200 mistakenly considers that the consumable is exhausted, and normal use of the first chip 1 is affected. When the consumable of the first chip 1 is judged to be exhausted according to the first consumable information, the second consumable information is sent to the first chip 1 through the connecting end, the first chip 1 sends the received second consumable information to the imaging device 200 through the communication end, and the second consumable information is recorded instead of the first consumable information, namely the imaging device 200 records the serial number of the second chip 2.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 2, the first chip 1 communicates with the imaging device 200 through an Inter-Integrated Circuit (IIC) bus, and the first chip 1 communicates with the second chip 2 through another IIC bus, wherein the IIC bus includes a data line SDA and a clock line SCL. The first chip 1 can firstly judge whether the consumable is exhausted or is about to be exhausted after being powered on, if so, the imaging device 200 sends a request instruction for acquiring the serial number of the first chip 1 to the first chip 1, at the moment, the first chip 1 serves as a transfer chip and sends the request instruction of the imaging device 200 to the second chip 2, the second chip 2 transmits the serial number of the chip to the imaging device 200 through the first chip 1 according to the request instruction, so that the serial number of the second chip 2 is recorded by the imaging device 200, the imaging device 200 is prevented from recording the serial number of the first chip 1, the first chip 1 is considered as an unused chip by the imaging device 200, the first chip 1 can be used with the second chip 2 at the same time again, and the second chip 2, such as a waste original chip, can be reused.
In other embodiments, as shown in fig. 3, the consumable chip 100 further includes a switch group 3, one end of the switch group 3 is connected to the second chip 2, the other end of the switch group 3 is adapted to be connected to the imaging device 200, for example, to the data line SDA and the clock line SCL of the IIC bus of the imaging device 200, respectively, and the control terminal of the switch group 3 is connected to the other end of the first chip 1. When determining that the consumables of the first chip 1 are exhausted according to the first consumable information, the first chip 1 only performs the control of opening or closing the switch group 3, the second chip 2 replaces the first chip 1 to communicate with the imaging device 200, and the second chip 2 sends the second consumable information to the imaging device 200.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 3, both ends of the switch group 3 are respectively connected to the second chip 2 and the imaging device 200, when the switch group 3 is closed, the second chip 2 and the imaging device 200 can communicate, and when it is determined that the consumables of the first chip 1 are exhausted according to the first consumable information, the first chip 1 does not respond to the consumable information request of the imaging device 200, and only performs the opening or closing of the control switch group 3. After the first chip 1 is powered on, it is first determined whether consumables are exhausted or are about to be exhausted, if so, the imaging device 200 sends a request instruction for acquiring a serial number of the first chip 1 to the first chip 1, at this time, the first chip 1 does not respond to the request instruction of the imaging device 200, and the switch group 3 is controlled to be closed, so that the second chip 2 can communicate with the imaging device 200, the second chip 2 transmits second consumable information including the serial number thereof to the imaging cup 200, so that the serial number of the second chip 2 is recorded by the imaging device 200, the imaging device 200 is prevented from recording the serial number of the first chip 1, so that the imaging device 200 does not record the serial number of the first chip 1, the first chip 1 is considered as an unused chip by the imaging device 200, and can still be used together with the second chip 2 again, and the second chip 2 can be reused.
Further, in the embodiment, the first chip 1 may determine whether the consumable is exhausted according to any one of the following: for example, when the stored number of consumed sheets is larger than a preset number, it is determined that the consumable is exhausted; or when the stored printed coverage rate is greater than the preset coverage rate, determining that the consumable material is exhausted; or when the accumulated rotation number of the transmission gear of the consumable box consumed consumables is larger than the rotation number threshold, determining that the consumables are exhausted; alternatively, when the remaining amount of consumable supplies stored is smaller than the remaining amount threshold, it is determined that the consumable supplies are exhausted or the like. Specifically, by which way to determine whether the consumable material is exhausted, a specific setting may be made when manufacturing the chip to select the most appropriate determination way according to the chip parameters.
In summary, in the consumable chip 100 of the embodiment of the present invention, by providing the first chip 1 and the second chip 2, for example, the compatible chip and the recovered original chip, the first chip 1 serves as a relay chip, when the consumable is exhausted, the serial number of the recovered original chip is transmitted to the imaging device as the serial number of the compatible chip, or when the imaging device requests to obtain the serial number of the compatible chip, the switch group 3 is controlled to enable the original chip to communicate with the imaging device 200, and the serial number of the recovered original chip is sent to the imaging device 200, so that the imaging device 200 is prevented from directly reading the serial number of the compatible chip, that is, the first chip 1, in both ways, the compatible chip can meet the requirement of the imaging device 200 for identifying the uniqueness of the serial number by using the limited set of first serial number, time cost and production cost for largely copying the sequence of the compatible chip are reduced, meanwhile, the used original chip can be fully utilized by being recovered, and pollution of the original chip to the environment is reduced, so that the recovered original chip can be reused, and the reuse rate of the recovered original chip is improved.
Based on the consumable chip of the above embodiment, a consumable cartridge according to an embodiment of the second aspect of the present invention is described below with reference to the drawings.
As shown in fig. 4, the consumable cartridge 1000 according to the embodiment of the present invention includes the cartridge body 300 and the consumable chip 100 according to the above embodiment, and the structure and operation of the consumable chip 100 can refer to the description of the above embodiment.
According to the consumable part box 1000 of the embodiment of the invention, by applying the consumable part chip 100 of the above embodiment, the recycling of the recovered chip can be realized, the chip production time can be saved, the production cost can be reduced, and the utilization rate of the recovered waste chip can be improved.
Referring to the drawings, a method for acquiring a serial number of a consumable chip according to an embodiment of the present invention is described below, and the method is applied to the consumable chip according to the above embodiment, as shown in fig. 5, the method according to the embodiment of the present invention at least includes steps S1 and S2, and each step is specifically described below.
S1, judging whether the consumable is exhausted according to first consumable information stored in a first chip.
And the first consumable information at least comprises a first serial number of the first chip, if so, the step S2 is carried out, otherwise, the step S1 is continued.
And S2, triggering second consumable information stored in the second chip to replace the first consumable information and feeding the first consumable information back to the imaging equipment, wherein the second consumable information at least comprises a second serial number of the second chip.
Specifically, when the first chip judges that the current consumable is about to be exhausted or is exhausted according to the recorded consumable information, the imaging device sends a request instruction for acquiring the sequence number of the first chip to the first chip, at the moment, the first chip triggers the second chip to output the second consumable information including the second sequence number of the second chip, and the second chip sequence number is sent to the imaging device, so that the imaging device records the sequence number of the second chip, and does not record the sequence number of the first chip. Therefore, the first serial number of the first chip cannot be memorized by the imaging equipment, the first chip can still be used together with the second chip again, and the imaging equipment can consider that the first chip is not used, so that the second chip can be repeatedly used, the utilization rate of the second chip is improved, only the limited set of the first serial number is needed, and the development cost of the consumable chip is reduced.
According to the method for acquiring the serial number of the consumable chip, when the consumable is exhausted, the serial number of the second chip is used as the recorded serial number and is transmitted to the imaging equipment, the situation that the imaging equipment directly reads the serial number of the first chip is avoided, the imaging equipment considers that the first chip is not used completely and can be used together with the second chip again, only the first serial number is needed, the time cost and the production cost for developing the consumable chip are reduced, the second chip such as a waste original chip can be reasonably utilized, and the repeated utilization rate of the second chip is improved.
In some embodiments, the second serial number is a serial number carried by the original chip, and the number of the second serial numbers is equal to that of the original chips. The first serial number may also be the serial number of the original chip. As a preferable scheme, in this embodiment, the first serial number is different from the second serial number. The first serial number and the second serial number are both serial numbers which can be identified as legal by the imaging equipment. When the consumable of the first chip is judged to be exhausted according to the first consumable information, only the second consumable information is recorded by the imaging device, namely the imaging device only records the second serial number, and the serial number of the first chip cannot be recorded, so that the first chip can still be used with the second chip again, the imaging device still considers that the first chip is unused, and the second chip, such as a waste original chip, can be repeatedly utilized.
In an embodiment, before the first consumable information determines that the consumable is exhausted, the second chip is in a dormant state; when the consumable is judged to be exhausted according to the first consumable information, the second consumable information is sent to the first chip through the connecting end of the first chip and the second chip, the first chip sends the second consumable information received by the first chip to the imaging equipment through the communication end, and the second consumable information replaces the first consumable information to be recorded.
Specifically, when the first chip judges that the consumable supply is about to be exhausted or is exhausted according to the consumable supply information, the imaging device sends a request instruction for acquiring the serial number of the first chip to the first chip, and the first chip does not respond after reading the instruction and sends the instruction to the second chip. After the second chip receives the imaging device request instruction transmitted by the first chip, the serial number of the second chip is returned to the first chip according to the request instruction, the first chip receives the serial number and then transmits the serial number back to the imaging device, the serial number of the consumable chip is recorded by the imaging device, the imaging device cannot record the serial number of the first chip, the first chip can be used together with the second chip again, the requirement of the imaging device on the uniqueness of the serial number can be met, the cost and the time for obtaining the serial number can be reduced, and the utilization rate of the second chip is improved.
In some embodiments, when it is determined that the consumable is exhausted according to the first consumable information, the first chip performs only control of a switch group connecting the second chip and the imaging device to be opened or closed so that the second chip communicates with the imaging device instead of the first chip, and the second chip transmits the second consumable information to the imaging device.
Further, whether the consumable is exhausted may be determined according to any one of, for example, when the number of stored consumed sheets is greater than a preset number, it is determined that the consumable is exhausted; or when the stored printed coverage rate is greater than the preset coverage rate, determining that the consumable material is exhausted; or when the accumulated rotation number of the transmission gear of the consumable box consumed consumables is larger than the rotation number threshold, determining that the consumables are exhausted; or when the stored consumable material residual quantity is less than the residual quantity threshold value, determining that the consumable material is exhausted. Specifically, by determining whether the consumable material is exhausted or not, the manufacturer can make specific settings when manufacturing the chip to select the most appropriate determination method according to the chip parameters.
In summary, according to the method for obtaining the serial number of the consumable chip in the embodiment of the present invention, the first chip is used as the transfer chip, when the consumable is determined to be exhausted according to the first consumable chip, the serial number of the second chip is transmitted to the imaging device to be recorded, or when the imaging device requests the chip serial number, the imaging device does not respond to the request, the second chip communicates with the imaging device by controlling the switch group, and the serial number of the second chip is transmitted to the imaging device.
