Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, like numbers in different drawings represent the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The embodiments described in the following exemplary embodiments do not represent all embodiments consistent with the present invention. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the invention, as detailed in the appended claims.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a method of printing a file, which is applied to a mobile terminal, according to an exemplary embodiment, and includes the following steps, as shown in fig. 1:
step S101, obtaining a printing instruction aiming at a target file, wherein the target file comprises: office files;
and step S102, directly printing the target file according to the printing instruction.
The Office file is a file created by Office software, and is generally an editable document file. A document comprising at least the following suffixes: α doc,. xls,. ppt,. mdb,. vsdx, etc. Here, the printing operation is executed by the operating system of the mobile terminal such as a mobile phone or a tablet computer, and the printing operation is directly completed without downloading and calling a third-party plug-in or an application program in advance.
For files of other formats or types, such as PDF (Portable Document Format) files or picture files, the printing operation may also be performed directly by using the operating system of the mobile terminal.
By the method, when the file needs to be printed, the requirement for printing the target file can be met only by one-time printing instruction without downloading and installing a third-party plug-in or application program in advance or manually switching and operating different application programs back and forth. Therefore, the technical scheme reduces the complexity of operation, saves the storage space and the operation resource of the mobile terminal, and effectively improves the user experience.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 2, in step S102, the directly printing the target file according to the printing instruction includes:
step S201, converting the format of the target file into a target format according to the printing instruction;
and step S202, printing the target file in the target format.
Since the mobile terminal may have a format requirement for the printed file, the file that does not meet the format requirement may not be printed. For example, a mobile terminal may only be able to print files in PDF or picture format, but not in office document format. Therefore, after the target file is determined, whether the target file meets the printing format requirement is detected, and if the target file meets the requirement, namely the format of the target file is the target format, the target file can be directly printed. And if the format of the target file does not meet the requirement, namely the format of the target file is not the target format, directly converting the format of the target file into the target format, and then printing the target file converted into the target format.
For example, the mobile terminal can only print a file in an image format, and when a file in a text format may not be printed, file formats other than the image format are all files that do not meet format requirements, and conversion of the file formats is required.
The conversion of the file format here can be directly realized by using any existing functional component with file format conversion.
The function of converting the file format is directly integrated in the system printing service, when the printing is needed, the files in various formats can be printed only by simple operation, and the format conversion can be directly completed before the printing without manually switching to other application programs or calling a third-party plug-in.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 3, the method further comprises:
s301, acquiring an operation instruction for opening a system toolbar;
step S302, displaying the system toolbar containing a printing icon of system printing service according to the operation instruction;
in step S101, the acquiring a print instruction for a target file includes:
step S303, acquiring a printing instruction acting on the printing icon based on the target file;
in step S102, the directly printing the target file according to the printing instruction includes:
step S304, starting the system printing service according to the printing instruction;
and step S305, printing the target file through the started system printing service. The system printing service may be a system-level printing tool that enables cross-application use, printing of documents, pages, images, or the like provided by any application. And when a printing instruction for triggering the system printing service is received, starting the system printing service and determining the file needing to be printed currently. Before acquiring a printing instruction to start a system printing service, a file to be printed currently, that is, the target file, may be determined. For example, a file selected in the process of file processing before the system printing service is started may be determined as a target file, or a file currently being displayed on the screen of the mobile terminal may be determined as a target file.
Further, if the target file is not determined before the print instruction is received, the target file may be determined by receiving an instruction for the user to select the file based on the prompt information after the print instruction is received to start the system print service.
FIG. 4 is a schematic diagram of a display page of a system toolbar illustrating an exemplary embodiment in which a service icon 110 for a system print service may be displayed in the system toolbar 100, as shown in FIG. 4. The figure illustratively provides a system toolbar style, and when a target file 120 is selected, the system toolbar 100 provides directions to which the target file 120 may be sent, including to a printer, to a screen-casting device for screen casting, to another device, to another application, and so on. When the user needs to send the file to the printer for printing, the user clicks the service icon 110 in the system toolbar 100, that is, a print instruction for printing the current target file can be determined to be triggered, and at this time, the target file can be directly printed. It should be noted that the system toolbar 100 shown in the drawings is only an exemplary illustration, and the disclosed embodiments are not limited to this type of system toolbar.
The operation instruction for opening the system toolbar may be a preset operation directly on the mobile terminal, for example, a sliding operation in a direction below the screen, or a sliding operation in a direction above the screen; or a multi-click operation, a long-press operation, etc. of a HOME button (HOME key), which is not limited in this disclosure. And when the mobile terminal receives the operation instruction of the preset operation, displaying the system toolbar, wherein the service icons contained in the toolbar are displayed by the display screen.
The operation instruction may also be a start instruction for performing functions such as sharing, and forwarding when processing the target file. For example, when processing a target file. Clicking a sharing file, displaying the system toolbar, and providing a sharable target in the system toolbar, wherein the method comprises the following steps: the system comprises a printer, a screen projection device or other devices, and various third-party devices or third-party application programs capable of sharing files, such as a mailbox, a blog, a microblog or a short message.
Through above-mentioned system toolbar, can conveniently provide the instrument of printing the file for the user, when the user need print, only need click the service icon, just can start system printing service, the simple operation can effectively promote user experience.
In some embodiments, the method further comprises:
and displaying progress information for a format conversion progress when converting the format of the target file into the target format.
When the file is printed by the method provided in the above embodiment, if the format of the target file does not meet the format requirement of printing, the format of the target file needs to be converted into the target format. Since the conversion process may take a while, a format conversion progress may be displayed upon receiving a start-up of the system print service to prompt the user that conversion of the file format is currently being performed, and the user may be prompted for a progress of the file conversion.
In some embodiments, the displaying the progress information for the format conversion progress includes:
displaying a format conversion progress bar including a first portion filled with a first color and a second portion filled with a second color; the length ratio of the first part to the conversion progress bar is equal to the format conversion completion percentage of the target file;
and/or the presence of a gas in the gas,
and displaying the format conversion completion percentage of the target file.
Fig. 5A and 5B are schematic diagrams of display pages showing a file format conversion progress according to an exemplary embodiment, and as shown in fig. 5A, when a print instruction to start a system print service is received, a target file is format-converted. Meanwhile, the information related to the file format conversion progress, including information such as the percentage of completion of format conversion, may be displayed through the pop-up floating window 200 or on another page. As shown in fig. 5B, a prompt message for format conversion is displayed in the floating window 200, and at the same time, a progress bar 210 for format conversion is displayed.
Thus, the format conversion of the file currently in progress can be clearly shown, and the user is prompted about the conversion progress. In addition, while the progress information is displayed, other operation controls can be displayed, such as: canceling the conversion, interrupting the conversion and the like, so that a user can conveniently perform other operations when needed.
In some embodiments, the method further comprises:
storing the target file in the target format in a temporary storage space;
and when a printing instruction for printing the target file is detected again, printing the target file of the target format stored in the temporary storage space.
When the target file does not meet the printing requirement, the system printing service performs format conversion on the target file to generate the target file in the target format, so that the target file can be saved in a temporary storage space to be used as a standby file for facilitating subsequent repeated printing. When it is detected that the target file needs to be printed again, the target file in the target format stored in the temporary storage space can be directly read and printed.
Through the steps, the file which needs to be repeatedly printed can be saved, and the saved file with the target format can be printed. Therefore, the format of the file is required to be converted only during the first printing, and the format conversion is not required during the subsequent printing, so that the printing time is saved, and the printing efficiency is improved.
In some embodiments, the method further comprises:
and after the printing is finished or the storage time of the target file in the target format in the temporary storage space reaches the preset time, discarding the target file in the temporary storage space.
Since in the above embodiment, the target file in the target format saved in the temporary storage space may no longer have a printing requirement after a certain period of time, the target file is only used as the temporarily saved file. Therefore, the temporary storage space can be cleaned regularly, namely, the cleaning of the storage space is realized by discarding the data of the temporary files stored in the temporary storage space, so as to reduce the storage burden of the memory.
In some embodiments, said directly printing said target file comprises:
displaying a print settings page, the print settings page comprising: a printing parameter configuration area and a printing effect preview area;
detecting a printing configuration instruction acting on a printing parameter configuration area, and determining a target printing parameter of a printing target file;
and printing the target file according to the target printing parameters.
Fig. 6 is a schematic diagram illustrating a print setting page according to an exemplary embodiment, and as shown in fig. 6, when format conversion is completed, the print setting page 300 may be automatically jumped to display, and a target print parameter that can be set is included in the print parameter configuration area 310, for example: print color, paper size, paper orientation, number of prints, and the like; it can also contain the connection matching setting with the printer; the print preview effect may also be displayed in the print effect preview area 320. Of course, a default parameter may be preset for each settable item, and if a print configuration instruction operated by a user is not received, printing is performed based on the default parameter. For example, the default paper is a paper of a4 model, the default number of print copies is 1, and so on.
Because the printing parameter configuration area and the printing effect preview area can be positioned on the same printing setting page, the printing effect which can be achieved by the printing parameters of the current parameter configuration area can be displayed in the printing effect preview area of the printing setting page. And if the printing parameters of the parameter configuration area are changed based on the printing configuration instruction, displaying the printing effect which can be achieved by the changed printing parameters in the printing effect preview area.
Therefore, through the printing setting page, the diversified printing requirements of the user can be selected, the file meeting the requirements is finally printed, meanwhile, through the printing preview area, the printing effect corresponding to the current target printing parameters can be displayed, the user is reminded, and waste caused by reprinting due to the fact that the target printing parameters are not in accordance with the requirements is reduced.
Embodiments of the present disclosure also provide the following examples:
android (operating system name) is an open source code mobile operating system based on Linux (operating system name) kernel, which can be used for touch screen mobile devices such as smart phones and tablet computers and other portable devices. Before android4.4kit Kat (version name), a third party print tool needs to be downloaded by a user to print a document, image, or other content. And extracting the document from another application, and transmitting the document to the printing tool by using a shared menu of the Android.
Google in 2013 introduced Android4.4Kit Kat, which has an API (Application Programming Interface) for managing printers and native Android print platforms, issued an Android printframe, a pull-down menu from which a user can select printers and pages, and a print manager for transmitting a print request of an Application to an available printer service.
In 2017, Mopria (mobile printing alliance) began to work with google, launching a new default print service for the android system. The former is a wireless printing alliance established by manufacturers of printer devices such as hewlett packard and canon. Print services support printing such as duplex printing, Wi-Fi Direct printing, positioning, and paper sizing. However, in terms of the types of files supporting printing, only the files in the picture and PDF formats are supported, and the files in the office file formats such as doc,. xls,. ppt are not supported for printing.
In some embodiments, when the file in the office file format is printed, the file format may be first converted into a format convenient for printing, such as a PDF format, by a plug-in. That is, the user needs to use a third-party plug-in or other application to complete format conversion, and then send the converted PDF file to the printing service for printing. However, this method requires switching different applications or plug-ins during use, is complicated to operate, and requires installing a third-party plug-in or application for file format conversion.
Therefore, in order to improve the file printing efficiency and simplify the operation, the embodiment of the present disclosure integrates the function of converting the file in the office file format into the file format convenient for printing, such as PDF, into the system printing service program. The user is no longer required to switch the application or call a third party plug-in when printing the file. In the printing process, a file in the office file format is directly converted and printed.
As shown in fig. 4, a service icon 110 of a print service is displayed in the system toolbar 100, and when a touch instruction acting on the service icon 110 of the print service is received, it is detected whether the format of the target file is an office file format (for example, a file with a suffix name such as:. doc,. xls,. ppt). If the format of the target file is the office file format, a popup is popped up directly at the front end of the system, as shown in fig. 5A and 5B. The popup window 200 displays a format conversion progress for prompting a user that format conversion is currently performed on a target file, and simultaneously performs format conversion on a file in a system background. After the file conversion is completed, the converted file is printed through the printing service, as shown in fig. 6, a target printing parameter related to printing can be set, a printing effect is previewed, and finally printing is completed.
Therefore, the function of file format conversion is integrated and packaged in the printing service of the system, the process of printing files in the traditional printing service is simplified, the files can be printed only by simple operation, the file format conversion is not required to be carried out by switching application programs or calling third-party plug-ins, and the use experience of users is effectively improved.
