Abstract
A composite pillow and a preparation method thereof are provided, wherein the composite pillow comprises a pillow core and a gel coating layer. The pillow core is made of polyurethane sponge, and the gel coating layer is made of gel and comprises an upper cover. The upper cover comprises a cover body and a cover edge. The cover edge and the cover body are integrally formed, the cover edge comprises four edges, and two adjacent edges are integrally formed. The cover body and the cover edge in the upper cover of the composite pillow can be integrally formed, and the cover edge can also be integrally formed. And no matter any two sides of the four sides are in fillet transition or right-angle transition, the cover edge can be integrally formed without leaving any trace, so that the gel layer can be coated on one side or two sides of the whole pillow, the whole gel layer is smooth and flat, the appearance of people is attractive, and the use experience of users is improved. The invention also provides a preparation method of the composite pillow.

The gel coating layer 11 comprises an upper cover 12 along the sleeping pressure direction of the pillow core 10, the upper cover 12 comprises a cover body 14, and a cover edge 15 arranged on the periphery of the cover body 14. The lid rim 15 is integrally formed with the lid body 14. Since the cover edge 15 includes four sides for a general pillow, any two adjacent sides of the four sides are also integrally formed therebetween. According to different pillow forms, there are a round pillow and a right-angle pillow, so when the pillow is a round pillow, the cover edge 11 further includes four transition arcs disposed between any two sides of the four sides, and the transition arcs are integrally formed with the adjacent sides.
The invention also provides a preparation method of the composite pillow, which comprises the following steps:
STEP1 providing a gel sheet comprising a hard layer and a soft layer;
STEP2 providing a mold for molding the pillow core and including an upper mold and a lower mold, flatly placing the gel sheet into the lower mold, facing the soft layer to the material injection surface of the pillow polyurethane material, and pouring the pillow polyurethane material on the soft layer surface of the gel;
STEP3, closing the upper die and the lower die, foaming and curing for 5-10 minutes to form the composite pillow;
in order to make the pillow core more breathable, the gel sheet can be provided with a plurality of through holes arranged at intervals.
The manufacturing method of the composite pillow also comprises the preparation method of the gel sheet, namely, a mould with proper specification is selected, a layer of centrifugal paper is laid under the mould, the soft layer gel material is poured on the centrifugal paper, after the reaction and the curing are carried out for 1-5 minutes, the hard layer gel material is poured on the soft layer gel, and the curing is carried out for 1-5 minutes.
Compared with the prior art, the composite pillow provided by the invention has the advantages that the side surface of the pillow can be provided with the gel coating layer 11 through the preparation method of the composite pillow, the upper cover 12 of the gel coating layer 11 can be made of the cover body 14 and the cover edge 15, the upper cover 12 can be integrally formed, and the cover edge 15 can be integrally formed. 6. A composite pillow as defined in claim 1, wherein: the lid edge further includes four transition arcs disposed between any two of the four edges, the transition arcs being integrally formed with adjacent edges.
7. A preparation method of a composite pillow comprises the following steps:
providing a gel sheet comprising a hard layer and a soft layer;
providing a mould which is used for forming the pillow core and comprises an upper mould and a lower mould, flatly placing the gel sheet into the lower mould of the mould, enabling the soft layer to face the material injection surface of the pillow polyurethane material, and pouring the pillow polyurethane material on the soft gel layer surface;
closing the upper die and the lower die, foaming and curing for 5-10 minutes to form the composite pillow as claimed in any one of claims 1-6.
8. The method for preparing a composite pillow according to claim 7, wherein the method comprises the following steps: the gel sheet is seamlessly attached to the pillow, and the gel sheet is provided with a plurality of through holes arranged at intervals.
