Detailed Description
The principles and spirit of the present invention will be described with reference to a number of exemplary embodiments. It is understood that these embodiments are given only to enable those skilled in the art to better understand and to implement the present invention, and do not limit the scope of the present invention in any way. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the invention to those skilled in the art.
The technical solution of the present invention is further elaborated below with reference to the drawings and the specific embodiments.
Fig. 1 is a first flowchart illustrating an implementation of an intelligent paging method according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 1, the intelligent paging method according to the embodiment of the present invention includes: operation 101, when the UE needs to be paged, acquiring the recorded activity track information of the UE; operation 102, determining a target paging area list according to the active track information of the UE; operation 103, initiate paging according to the target paging area list.
In operation 101, when a network (e.g., a core network) needs to page a UE, activity trace information of the UE recorded by the network is obtained first. The activity track information of the UE includes the number of times of activity of the UE in each tracking area and corresponding time stamps, which are respectively recorded as UE _ Occur and UE _ Tm.
In operation 102-103, the network side predicts the UE activity according to the recorded UE activity track information, so as to determine a target paging area list, that is, select the optimal N tracking areas; further, UE paging is initiated to the selected optimal N tracking areas. The value of N is a positive integer, and is usually determined by a local policy.
According to the intelligent paging method, the intelligent paging equipment and the computer readable storage medium, when UE (user equipment) needs to be paged, firstly, the recorded activity track information of the UE is obtained, wherein the activity track information of the UE comprises the activity times of the UE in each tracking area and corresponding timestamps; then, determining a target paging area list according to the activity track information of the UE; and further initiating paging according to the target paging area list. Therefore, the invention predicts the tracking area of the UE through the activity track information of the UE, can carry out intelligent and efficient paging, can effectively reduce the paging load of an access side, saves network resources and improves the paging accuracy.
Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram illustrating a second implementation flow of the intelligent paging method according to the embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 2, the intelligent paging method according to the embodiment of the present invention includes: operation 201, when the UE needs to be paged, acquiring the recorded activity track information of the UE; operation 202, calculating weights of the tracking areas according to the activity track information of the UE; operation 203, selecting the first N tracking areas with the highest weight values to form a target paging area list; and operation 204, initiating paging according to the target paging area list.
The specific implementation process of operations 201 and 204 is similar to the specific implementation process of operations 101 and 103 in the embodiment shown in fig. 1, and is not described here again.
In operation 202, a weight (denoted as TA _ Capacity) of each tracking area TA may be calculated according to activity trace information including the number of times of activity of the UE in each tracking area TA (denoted as UE _ Occur) and a corresponding timestamp (denoted as UE _ Tm), where TA _ Capacity is full (UE _ Occur, UE _ Tm). Here, the specific calculation formula func (UE _ Occur, UE _ Tm) may be specifically set according to the history paging data.
In operation 203, after the weight of each tracking area TA is obtained through calculation, N tracking areas TAs with the highest weight value (i.e., optimal) are further selected to form a target paging area list (i.e., a TALIST) for paging, where the value of N is a positive integer and is usually determined by a local policy.
Therefore, the embodiment of the invention predicts the tracking areas where the UE is located in a mode of calculating the weight of each tracking area according to the activity track information of the UE, so that the first N tracking areas with the highest weight values are selected for paging, the intelligent and efficient paging can be realized on the basis of effectively reducing the paging load of an access side and saving network resources, and the paging accuracy is improved.
Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram illustrating a third implementation flow of the intelligent paging method according to the embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 3, the intelligent paging method according to the embodiment of the present invention includes: operation 301, when the UE sends a signaling to the network side, recording and updating the activity track information of the UE; operation 302, when the UE needs to be paged, acquiring updated active track information of the UE; operation 303, calculating weights of the tracking areas according to the activity track information of the UE; operation 304, selecting the first N tracking areas with the highest weight value to form a target paging area list; operation 305 initiates paging according to the target paging area list.
In operation 301, first, after the UE registers for the first time, the network side allocates a registration area (i.e., a taist) to the UE, and initializes a UE activity count (UE _ Occur) and a residence time stamp (UE _ Tm) in the TA where the UE is located, for example, 8:30, the core network receives the UE request, and the location is TA _1, that is, the activity trace information of the UE is recorded as TA _1, UE _ Occur is 1, and UE _ Tm is 8: 30.
Specifically, the operation 301 of recording and updating the activity track information of the UE includes: adding one to the activity times of the tracking area where the UE is located; updating the resident timestamps of the current tracking area of the UE and the latest resident tracking area of the UE; the tracking area where the UE resides recently comprises tracking areas where the UE is respectively located for M times before, and the value of M is a positive integer.
For example, when the UE sends signaling to the core network, that is, when the current UE is active, the core network adds 1 to the UE activity number of the TA where the UE is located, and updates the dwell timestamps of the current TA and the latest TA of the UE. If the 9:00 core network receives the UE request, the location is TA _2, that is, the activity trace information of the updated UE is TA _1, UE _ Occur is 1, and UE _ Tm is 8: 30; TA _2, UE _ Occur ═ 1, UE _ Tm ═ 9: 00; then, the 9:30 core network receives the UE request, and the location is TA _3, that is, the activity trace information of the updated UE is TA _1, UE _ Occur is 1, and UE _ Tm is 8: 30; TA _2, UE _ Occur ═ 1, UE _ Tm ═ 9: 00; TA _3, UE _ Occur ═ 1, UE _ Tm ═ 9: 30; further, the 9:45 core network receives the UE request, and the UE request is located at TA _1, that is, the activity trace information of the updated UE is TA _1, UE _ Occur ═ 2, and UE _ Tm ═ 9: 45; TA _2, UE _ Occur ═ 1, UE _ Tm ═ 9: 00; TA _3, UE _ Occur ═ 1, and UE _ Tm ═ 9: 30.
In operation 302, when the UE needs to be paged, the updated active trace information of the UE is acquired. For example: updating the activity track information of the UE to be TA _1, UE _ Occur to be 2, and UE _ Tm to be 9: 45; TA _2, UE _ Occur ═ 1, UE _ Tm ═ 9: 00; TA _3, UE _ Occur ═ 1, and UE _ Tm ═ 9: 30.
In operations 303 to 305, when the network side needs to page the UE, calculating a weight TA _ Capacity of each TA as a function (UE _ Occur, UE _ Tm) according to the number of UE activities and the residence timestamp, and selecting an optimal N TAs to form a TALIST for paging, where N is determined by a local policy; after the weights of the tracking areas TAs are obtained through calculation, N tracking areas TAs with the highest (i.e., optimal) weight values are further selected to form a target paging area list (i.e., a talest) for paging, wherein the value of N is a positive integer, and the value of N is usually determined by a local policy. For example, if the network side 10:00 needs to page the UE, the tracking area TA _1 with the highest weight value is selected for paging.
Therefore, the invention predicts the TA range of the UE by continuously recording the activity condition of the UE, thereby improving the paging accuracy.
Similarly, based on the above-mentioned smart paging method, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a computer-readable storage medium, where a program is stored, and when the program is executed by a processor, the processor is caused to perform at least the following operation steps: operation 101, when the UE needs to be paged, acquiring the recorded activity track information of the UE; operation 102, determining a target paging area list according to the active track information of the UE; operation 103, initiate paging according to the target paging area list.
Further, based on the intelligent paging method described above, an embodiment of the present invention further provides an intelligent paging device, as shown in fig. 4, where the device 40 includes: an obtaining module 401, configured to obtain recorded activity track information of the UE when the UE needs to be paged, where the activity track information of the UE includes activity times of the UE in each tracking area and a corresponding timestamp; a determining module 402, configured to determine a target paging area list according to the active track information of the UE; a paging module 403, configured to initiate paging according to the target paging area list.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, the determining module 402 is specifically configured to calculate weights of the tracking areas according to activity track information of the UE; and selecting the first N tracking areas with the highest weight values to form a target paging area list, wherein the value of N is a positive integer.
