Description

Household appliance with a hand-operated input device
Technical Field
The invention relates to a household appliance comprising a hand-operated input device, by means of which, for example, operating parameters of the household appliance can be input.
Background
A household appliance, for example a household refrigerator, a dishwasher or a washing machine, comprises a hand-operated input device, by means of which operating parameters can be output for the operation of the respective household appliance. In the case of a domestic refrigeration device, the operating parameter is, for example, the nominal temperature of the domestic refrigeration device, a specific cleaning program is entered in the case of a dishwasher, and a specific washing program is entered in the case of a washing machine.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to provide a household appliance having an improved input device.
The object of the invention is achieved by a household appliance having a hand-operated input device, which comprises a projection device, which is provided for projecting a plurality of input regions onto a projection surface, and a sensor device, which is provided for detecting the approach of an object to an input region projected onto the projection surface or the contact of the object with the input region in order to detect an input into the input device corresponding to the respective input region.
The household appliance according to the invention is, for example, a household refrigerator, a dishwasher, a washing machine or an oven.
The household appliance comprises in particular an electronic control device which is provided for controlling a proper operation of the household appliance. The input device is in particular connected to the electronic control device in order to input, in particular to input, the operating parameters to the electronic control device. In the case of a domestic refrigeration device, the operating parameter is, for example, the nominal temperature of the domestic refrigeration device, a specific cleaning program is entered in the case of a dishwasher, and a specific washing program is entered in the case of a washing machine.
The input device of the household appliance according to the invention comprises a projection device which, during operation of the household appliance, is capable of projecting an input region onto a projection surface. Preferably, the household appliance comprises a projection surface. The plane of projection is preferably flat. The projected input area comprises in particular information content, for example in the form of letters, signs, symbols and/or images.
The input device further comprises a sensor device. The sensor device is provided for detecting the approach of an object to an input region projected onto the projection surface or the contact of the object with the input region in order to detect an input into the input device corresponding to the respective input region. If, for example, a finger of the operator approaches one of the input regions as an object or touches it, the sensor device recognizes this. The input device thus recognizes that the input field is "activated", i.e. that an input to the input device corresponding to the input field is activated in order to transmit the information to the electronic control unit, for example.
In order to enable an input, for example, according to a menu, according to one embodiment of the household appliance according to the invention the information content is associated with a current input or a current state of the input device, and/or the projection device is provided for changing the information content of the projected input regions on the basis of an input corresponding to one of the input regions. This makes it possible in particular to change the projected information content on the basis of an input, so that an input according to or controlled by a menu is made by means of the input device. The "layout" of the input regions is thereby changed, in particular on the basis of the input, in order to achieve, in particular, a projection of the information content of the input regions according to a menu.
The sensor device preferably comprises a proximity sensor, in particular an infrared proximity sensor.
In an embodiment of the household appliance according to the invention, the sensor device comprises a touch button. The touch keys or touch sensors are in particular sensor keys which effect a change of an electronic or non-electronic parameter under pressure, for example by means of a finger as object. Touch keys are known per se to the person skilled in the art and are for example capacitive touch keys.
The touch keys are arranged in particular in the region of the projection surface, for example below the projection surface. The touch keys are provided for recognizing contact of an object with an input area projected onto the projection surface in order to recognize an input into the input device corresponding to the respective input area.
Since the input region is realized by means of the projection device, it is provided or can be provided for changing the "layout" of the touch keys on the basis of the input, which is to say that in particular the information content of the input region can be projected, in particular in accordance with a menu, with the current input or current state of the input device. The input area thus has in particular a corresponding meaning or function depending on the state or the current input.
According to a preferred variant of the household appliance according to the invention, the sensor device of the household appliance is therefore provided for adapting the arrangement of the touch keys to the currently displayed information content, in order to be able to control and/or set the household appliance, in particular, in accordance with the displayed information content.
The input device may comprise a housing in which the projection device and the sensor device are fixed to the housing.
The household appliance according to the invention may have an interior chamber; providing a door panel for opening and closing the interior chamber, the door panel having an inner side facing the interior chamber and an outer side facing away from the interior chamber; and a handle recess disposed in an outer side of the door panel. The handle groove includes a handle that constitutes a side recess with respect to an outer side of the door panel. The input device is preferably arranged at least partially in the handle, in particular integrated into the handle.
If the domestic appliance according to the invention is a domestic refrigeration appliance, the domestic refrigeration appliance comprises in particular an insulated body with an inner container which delimits an interior chamber. The interior space is a coolable interior space which can be closed by means of door panels and can be cooled by means of a refrigerating device for cooling the coolable interior space. The domestic appliance according to the invention, which is designed as a domestic refrigerator, comprises in particular an electronic control device which is provided to control the refrigerator in such a way that the cooled interior has at least approximately the desired temperature. The nominal temperature can be set by means of an input device.
The domestic refrigeration appliance according to the invention can be, for example, a domestic refrigeration appliance. In this case, the coolable inner chamber is cooled to a temperature of more than 0 ℃. The domestic refrigeration appliance according to the invention can also be a domestic freezer. In this case, the coolable inner chamber is cooled to a temperature of less than 0 ℃. However, the domestic refrigeration appliance according to the invention can also be a combined freezer and refrigerator appliance. The domestic refrigerator according to the invention can have exactly one coolable interior space, but also a plurality of coolable interior spaces, which can also be closed and opened in each case by means of a door leaf.
The handle groove comprises in particular a recess which only partially overlaps the handle and which comprises an outwardly directed surface. The surface is preferably flat. The surface preferably forms a projection surface, so that the projection device can project the input region onto a preferably flat surface of the recess. Thereby, the projection means projects the input area into the grip recess. Since the projection means and the sensor means are at least partially arranged or integrated in the handle, they can be arranged relatively close to the specific projection surface.
Since the input region is only projected into the grip recess when the projection device is switched on, the input region is not visible to the operator in the switched-off state of the projection device. This makes it possible to realize an input device which is not visible to the operator in the closed state.
If a cover device is used for the recess, an input device can additionally be realized, which can be combined in different materials.
The housing preferably at least partially constitutes the portion of the handle forming the undercut. The projection device and the sensor device can thus be fitted into a domestic appliance in a relatively simple manner. The projection means and the sensor means can thus be assembled into one module or assembly.
The door leaf comprises a pocket in the region of the handle, which pocket is in particular designed as a rear part and in which a housing with a projection device and a sensor device fixed therein is fixed.
The household appliance according to the invention can thus be assembled in that the housing with the projection device and the sensor device fixed in the housing is pushed into the pocket and the cover device is fixed in the handle recess in order to cover the recess, wherein the outwardly oriented surface of the cover device constitutes the projection surface. The housing with the projection device and the sensor device fixed in the housing can be fixed in the pocket, for example, by means of a latching device.
The side of the housing facing the outside of the door panel may comprise an opening. The projection device and the sensor device can be guided into the housing for assembly through the opening. The opening of the housing is preferably closed with a housing cover.
The housing comprises in particular a first housing region forming the undercut and a second housing region arranged next to the first housing region and inside the door leaf. The second housing area preferably has a greater depth than the first housing area. The first housing region in particular corresponds to the handle or even forms the handle.
The projection device is preferably configured as a slide projector. The slide projector comprises in particular: light sources, such as LEDs; a collimating lens proximate the light source, the collimating lens converting light generated by the light source into a parallel beam of radiation; a slide next to the collimating lens, the radiation beam being capable of passing through the slide; and a projection lens positioned proximate the slide for producing a projection beam from the beam passing through the slide. The projection beam is arranged to impinge on a projection surface in order to project the input area onto the projection surface. The slide includes images of the input area. The collimating lens thereby focuses the light of the light source and directs it towards the projection lens. The structure ensures a relatively high depth definition of the slide projector at a relatively low manufacturing cost. The projection axis corresponds to a parallel beam or a projection beam, which is oriented parallel to the parallel beam.
Preferably, the light source, the slide and the collimator lens are arranged within the second housing region, i.e. in a partial region of the housing arranged within the door leaf. The projection lens is preferably arranged inside the first housing region, i.e. in a partial region corresponding to the undercut or the handle. This embodiment of the slide projector can thus be arranged at least partially in the handle in a relatively space-saving manner.
The slide projector may comprise a deflection mirror next to the projection lens, which deflects the projection beam in the direction of the projection surface. The deflection mirror is preferably likewise fixed in the first housing region of the housing.
Preferably, the spacing between the collimator lens, the slide and the projection lens is selected such that the collimator lens and the slide are located in a wide section of the module, i.e. in the second housing region of the housing and thus not inside the relatively narrow handle.
The deflection mirror, which is optionally present, is preferably arranged as far forward as possible in order to keep the projection angle onto the projection surface as large as possible.
According to one embodiment of the household appliance according to the invention, the slide projector comprises a plurality of sub-slides arranged side by side, which sub-slides each comprise a collimating lens, a slide next to the respective collimating lens and a projection lens next to the respective slide, and which sub-slides each project one of the input areas onto the projection surface.
According to an embodiment of the household appliance according to the invention, the household appliance is assembled differently. If the input device comprises a housing, in particular the projection device and the sensor device are assembled into a module or assembly. The module itself can then be fitted in the rear part of the door panel. The rear part can be integrated into the handle, for example as part of the handle, or can be mounted as a separate part on the handle on the outside or on the inside of a door panel, in particular in the form of an outer door panel.
The module is then pushed into the rear part, for example, and optionally latched. The cover device for the recess is then inserted into the handle structure and thus forms a relatively flat transition to the module and in particular covers the gap which may occur during assembly between the module and the rear part. The covering means may be made of different materials, for example wood, ceramic, glass or metal. There is no influence on operability because the operation or input process of the detection module itself is realized and a touch sensing device disposed behind the cover device is not required.
The structure of the input device can preferably be optimized in terms of injection molding technology and in terms of simple assembly while observing relatively small tolerances. The individual components are preferably inserted into a housing, which is made in particular of plastic. Structurally preferred contours are provided on all components to ensure that the components are assembled correctly (Poka-Yoke, error and error proofing technique). A housing cover, which is placed after the internal components are assembled, secures all the components in their position.
