Detailed Description
To further explain the technical means and effects of the present invention adopted to achieve the intended purpose, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and preferred embodiments.
As shown in fig. 1, during the interaction process of the data communication network, the set-top box (digital video converter box) has at least two address communication processes in different environments, including:
step S101, the set-top box manages the address distribution process, namely after the set-top box is powered on for the first time, the set-top box carries manufacturer initialization information to send a DHCP Discover message to a broadband access router (DHCP Relay Server), the broadband access router judges that the set-top box is in an initial state according to the information content carried by the DHCP Discover message and sends the DHCP Discover message to a management Server (DHCP Server # 1); the management Server (DHCP Server #1) issues an address of a communication set-top box, an address of a version machine, and a TFTP (simple File Transfer Protocol) address of a relevant configuration Server, notifies the set-top box to download, and the set-top box acquires a management communication address IP # 1.
And S102, after the set-top box downloads the new version and the service data, restarting the set-top box. The set-top box restarting operation needs to send a DHCP Release message to the broadband access router, and informs the broadband access router and the management server to Release the management communication address IP #1 resource.
Step S103, a service address distribution process of the set-top box, namely, the set-top box sends a DHCPdiscover message carrying user service information to a broadband access router, and the broadband access router judges that the set-top box finishes data initialization and acquires a service communication address of the request according to information content carried by the DHCP Discover; the broadband access router sends data to a service management Server (DHCP Server # 2); a service management Server (DHCP Server #2) issues a service communication address, and a set-top box acquires the service communication address IP # 2; the set-top box completes the distribution of the service communication address and starts to carry out normal service inter-access.
As shown in fig. 2, the process of the set-top box (digital video converter box) interacting in the data communication network, which occurs in the process of switching the management communication address and the service communication address in two different environments, includes:
step S201, the set-top box manages the address distribution process, namely after the set-top box is powered on for the first time, the set-top box carries the initialization information of the manufacturer to send a DHCP Discover message to a broadband access router (DHCP Relay Relay Server), the broadband access router judges that the set-top box is in an initial state according to the information content carried by the DHCP Discover message, and sends the DHCP Discover message to a management Server (DHCP Server # 1); the management Server (DHCP Server #1) issues an address of a communication set-top box, an address of a version machine, and a TFTP (simple File Transfer Protocol) address of a relevant configuration Server, notifies the set-top box to download, and the set-top box acquires a management communication address IP # 1.
Step S202, before the set-top box equipment restarts and loads new data, the set-top box equipment needs to send a DHCP Release message to inform the broadband access router and the management server to Release the session management resources occupied in the step S201; due to the reasons of set-top box implementation or link stability, the situation that the DHCP Release message is not sent, the content is sent incorrectly or is lost in the sending process can occur, so that the broadband access router and the management server do not receive the session management resource Release request as soon as possible, and the session management resources are continuously occupied.
Step S203, the set-top box equipment sends a DHCP Discover message after restarting to request a service communication address, after the broadband access router receives the DHCP Discover message, the communication connection between the set-top box and the management server still exists, and the data message is delivered to the management server to carry out address reapplication; after receiving the request message, the management server finds that the management communication address IP #1 distributed to the set top box is still normally used, replies by using the management communication address IP #1, and distributes the set top box to the management communication address IP # 1; the current acquired address of the set-top box is IP #1, the IP #1 is a management communication address used by a management network, the management address IP #1 cannot be identified in a service communication network, and the phenomenon of hang-up of the set-top box occurs. At this time, the set-top box can allocate a normal address only when the DHCP protocol on the broadband access router and the management server is aged, and the problem of hang-up cannot be solved when the set-top box is restarted.
As shown in fig. 3, a set top box (digital video converter box) is hung up during fast online process and during two times of switching between management communication address and service communication address in different environments, which includes:
step S301, the set-top box manages the address allocation process, namely after the set-top box is powered on for the first time, the set-top box carries manufacturer initialization information to send a DHCP Discover message to a broadband access router (DHCP Relay Server), the broadband access router judges that the set-top box is in an initial state according to the information content carried by the DHCP Discover message, and sends the DHCP Discover message to a management Server (DHCP Server # 1); the management Server (DHCP Server #1) issues an address of a communication set-top box, an address of a version machine, and a TFTP (simple File Transfer Protocol) address of a relevant configuration Server, notifies the set-top box to download, and the set-top box acquires a management communication address IP # 1.
Step S302, before the set-top box is restarted and loads new data, a DHCP Release message needs to be sent to inform the broadband access router and the management server to Release the session management resources occupied in the step S301; due to the factors of set-top box realization or link stability, situations that a DHCP Release message is not sent, the content is sent wrongly or is lost in the sending process can occur, so that the broadband access router and the management server do not receive the session management resource Release request as required, and the session management resources are continuously occupied.
And step S303, after the set top box is restarted, the set top box enters a rapid on-line process. The quick online is a quick dialing mode defined by a DHCP protocol, a DHCP Discover message is not sent in the quick online process, a DHCP Request message is directly sent, the message is sent in a broadcasting mode, after the broadband access router receives the DHCP Request message, the communication connection between the set top box and the management server still exists, and the DHCP Request message can be delivered to the management server; after receiving the DHCP Request message, the management server finds that the management communication address IP #1 distributed to the set-top box is still normally used, the management server replies by using the management communication address IP #1, and the set-top box distributes the management communication address IP # 1.
The current acquired address of the set top box is a management communication address IP #1, the management communication address IP #1 is a management network use address, the management communication address IP #1 cannot be identified in a service communication network, and the phenomenon of hang-up of the set top box occurs in the rapid online process; at this time, the set-top box can allocate a normal address only when the DHCP protocol on the broadband access router and the management server is aged, and the problem of hang-up cannot be solved when the set-top box is restarted.
The set top box management method provided by the embodiment of the invention is applied to a data communication network, is used for avoiding the defect that the set top box is hung up in the process of switching the management communication address and the service communication address, improves the stability of the set top box, and is used for solving the problem that the set top box is hung up in the process of switching the management communication address and the service communication address in the prior art. The technology upgrading of the set top box equipment of the current network is not needed, and the unified technology rectification requirement of the current set top box supplier and the server provider equipment is not needed.
A first embodiment of the present invention provides a set top box management method, as shown in fig. 4, including the following specific steps:
step S401, when receiving the DHCP message sent by the set-top box, judging whether the session management resource of the set-top box exists or not based on the DHCP message.
In this embodiment, the type of the DHCP message is not specifically limited, and may be a DHCP Discover message or a DHCP Request message.
Optionally, the manner of determining whether the session management resource of the set top box already exists based on the DHCP message includes, but is not limited to:
and judging whether the session management resource of the set top box exists or not based on the MAC (Media Access Control) address of the set top box carried by the DHCP message.
Step S402, under the condition of judging that the conversation management resources exist, detecting whether the set-top box has business change or not based on the DHCP message.
In this embodiment, the method for detecting whether the set-top box has a service change based on the DHCP message is not specifically limited, and whether the set-top box has a service change may be detected based on information carried in one or more setting fields in the DHCP message.
Step S403, under the condition that the set-top box is detected to have business change, releasing the session management resource, and sending a DHCP Release message to the management server, so that the management server can Release the management communication address distributed in the management server by the set-top box based on the DHCP Release message.
By releasing session management resources and sending a DHCP Release message to the management server, the management server releases the management communication address allocated by the set top box in the management server based on the DHCP Release message, so that the defect that the set top box is hung up in the process of switching the management communication address and the service communication address is avoided, and the defect that the set top box can allocate a normal address only when the set top box is hung up in the process of switching the management communication address and the service communication address and the condition that the set top box needs to wait for the aging of a DHCP protocol on a broadband access router and the management server is avoided.
The set top box management method provided by the first embodiment of the invention can effectively avoid the defect that the set top box is hung up in the process of switching the management communication address and the service communication address, effectively improves the stability of the set top box and improves the user experience of the set top box.
A second embodiment of the present invention provides a set top box management method, as shown in fig. 5, including the following specific steps:
step S501, when a DHCP Discover message sent by a set-top box is received, detecting whether an MAC address carried by the DHCPdiscover message is stored; if the stored MAC address is detected, judging that the session management resource of the set top box exists; otherwise, judging that the session management resource of the set top box does not exist.
In this embodiment, when the MAC address of the stored set-top box is detected, it indicates that the MAC address of the set-top box is used, so that it can be determined that the session management resource of the set-top box is occupied; otherwise, the session management resource of the set top box can be judged to be unoccupied.
Step S502, under the condition that the session management resource of the set-top box is judged to exist, detecting whether a Vendor class identifier and/or a Host name carried by the DHCP Discover message exist in the description information of the session management resource; if the fact that the Vendor class identifier and/or the Host name carried by the DHCPdiscover message exists in the description information of the session management resource is detected, the set top box is not changed in service; otherwise, the set-top box has changed services.
Optionally, the Vendor class identifier carried in the DHCP Discover message is a Vendor class identifier carried in an option60 field in the DHCP Discover message; the Host name carried by the DHCP Discover message is the Host name carried by the option12 field in the DHCP Discover message.
Optionally, the method for detecting whether a Vendor class identifier and/or a Host name carried in the DHCP Discover message exists in the description information of the session management resource includes, but is not limited to:
and detecting whether the Host name carried by the Vendor class identifier and/or option12 field carried by the option60 field in the DHCP Discover message is consistent with the Vendor class identifier and/or Host name of the set-top box in the description information of the session management resource.
Optionally, the description information of the session management resource is a session management resource list.
Step S503, when detecting that the set-top box has changed service, releasing the session management resource, and sending a DHCP Release message to the management server, so that the management server releases the management communication address allocated in the management server by the set-top box based on the DHCP Release message.
By releasing session management resources and sending a DHCP Release message to the management server, the management server releases a management communication address allocated by the set-top box in the management server based on the DHCP Release message to wait for the set-top box to resend the DHCP Discover message, so that the defect that the set-top box is hung up in the process of switching the management communication address and the service communication address is avoided, and the defect that the set-top box can allocate a normal address only when the set-top box is hung up in the process of switching the management communication address and the service communication address and the condition that the set-top box needs to wait for the DHCP protocol on the broadband access router and the management server to age is avoided.
The set top box management method of the second embodiment of the invention can effectively avoid the defect that the set top box is hung up in the process of switching the management communication address and the service communication address, effectively improve the stability of the set top box and improve the user experience of the set top box.
A third embodiment of the present invention provides a set top box management method, as shown in fig. 6, including the following specific steps:
step S601, when receiving a DHCP Request message sent by a set-top box, detecting whether an MAC address carried by the DHCPrequest message is stored; if the stored MAC address is detected, judging that the session management resource of the set top box exists; otherwise, judging that the session management resource of the set top box does not exist.
In this embodiment, when the MAC address of the stored set-top box is detected, it indicates that the MAC address of the set-top box is used, so that it can be determined that the session management resource of the set-top box is occupied; otherwise, the session management resource of the set top box can be judged to be unoccupied.
Step S602, detecting whether the DHCP Request message carries IP (Internet Protocol) address information and Server identity (Server identification information) of the set-top box when determining that the session management resource of the set-top box already exists; if the DHCP Request message carries the IP address information and the Server identification, the set-top box has no service change; otherwise the set-top box has changed services.
Optionally, the IP address information carried by the DHCP Request message is the IP address information carried by the ciaddr field in the DHCP Request message; the Server identity carried by the DHCP Request message is the Server identity carried by the option54 field in the DHCP Request message.
Optionally, step S602 specifically includes:
under the condition that the session management resources of the set top box already exist, detecting IP address information carried by a ciaddr field and Server identification carried by an option54 field in a DHCP Request message; if neither ciaddr field nor option54 in the DHCP Request message is 0, the set-top box has no service change; if the ciaddr field and option54 in the DHCP Request message are both 0, the set-top box has changed services.
Step S603, when detecting that the service change has occurred in the set-top box, releasing the session management resource, and sending a DHCP Release message to the management server, so that the management server releases the management communication address allocated in the management server by the set-top box based on the DHCP Release message.
Step S604, sending DHCP NAK message to the set-top box for the set-top box to retransmit DHCP Request message based on DHCP NAK message.
The set-top box is used for retransmitting the DHCPRequest message based on the DHCP NAK message by sending the DHCP NAK message to the set-top box, so that the set-top box can effectively and quickly acquire a service communication address to normally perform interactive access.
The set top box management method in the third embodiment of the invention can effectively avoid the defect that the set top box is hung up in the process of switching the management communication address and the service communication address, effectively improve the stability of the set top box and improve the user experience of the set top box.
A fourth embodiment of the present invention is based on the above embodiments, and an application example of the present invention is described with reference to fig. 7 by taking a set-top box management method as an example.
Step S701, a broadband access router (DHCP Relay server) receives a DHCP protocol message sent by a set-top box, Client Mac Address (Client MAC Address) in the DHCP message is used for session retrieval, if Client Mac Address information used by the set-top box is not retrieved, the broadband access router is considered to have no session of the set-top box, and step S702 is executed; if the Client Mac Address information used by the set-top box is detected, the device is considered to have the session of the set-top box, and step S707 is executed.
Step S702, the broadband access router performs session management resource allocation, generates a session management resource table with the Client Mac Address as a main index, and executes step S703.
Step S703, the broadband access router data processing unit extracts the characteristic data of the DHCP message, extracts the initialization data information or the service information including the user name and domain name, analyzes the access requirement of the set-top box, stores the extracted information, and executes step S704.
Step S704, the DHCP protocol module of the broadband access router forwards the DHCP message to the corresponding DHCP Server Server according to the analysis result of the data processing unit, so as to realize accurate data delivery, and step S705 is executed.
Step S705, after receiving the DHCP message forwarded by the device, the DHCP Server performs normal DHCP protocol interaction to allocate a correct IP address to the set-top box, and the relay device DHCP protocol module completes a normal DHCP protocol interaction process to forward the allocated management communication address to the set-top box, and further performs step S706.
Step S706, the set-top box acquires the correct IP address to carry out communication access, and the process is ended.
Step S707, if the broadband access router has a session management resource table corresponding to the set-top box, the set-top box is considered to have initiated an address request and obtain a response of the DHCP Server. If the received DHCP message is a DHCPDiscover message, step S708 is executed, and if the received DHCP message is not a DHCP Discover message, step S714 is executed.
Step S708, the broadband access router data processing unit performs data feature extraction on the DHCP Discover packet, and extracts Option60(Vendor class identifier) and set-top box Option12(Host name, domain name information) information carried in the data packet. Step S709 is executed.
Step S709, comparing whether the Option12(Host name, domain name information) information extracted from the DHCP Discover data message is consistent with the Option12(Host name, domain name information) information stored in the session management resource table, if not, executing step S711; if so, step S710 is performed.
Step S710, comparing whether the Option60(Vendor class identifier) information extracted from the DHCP Discover data message is consistent with the Option60(Vendor class identifier) information stored in the session management resource table, if not, executing step S711; if so, go to step S724.
Step S711, if the Option60(Vendor class identifier) information or the Option12(Host name, domain name information) information in the DHCP Discover is inconsistent with the corresponding information stored in the session management resource table, it is determined that the set-top box has a service change, and the set-top box starts to request a new communication address. The broadband access router, as a DHCP Relay server, releases the stored session management resources and executes step S712.
Step S712, the broadband access router, as a DHCP Relay Server, sends a DHCP Release message to the DHCPServer Server to which the address was originally allocated, releases the management communication address allocated on the DHCP Server, and executes step S713.
Step S713, the broadband access router does not perform any processing and response on the DHCP Discover message received this time, further waits for the set-top box to retransmit the DHCP Discover message, and executes the content check of step S701 after the DHCP protocol message is retransmitted.
Step S714, if the broadband access router has the session management resource table corresponding to the set-top box, but the received DHCP message is not a DHCP Discover message, further determination is needed to determine whether the received message is a DHCPRequest message. If the data message is a DHCP Request message, executing step S715; if the data message is not a DHCPRequest message, step S724 is executed.
Step S715, the broadband access router data processing unit performs data feature extraction on the DHCP Request packet, extracts a ciaddr (IP address information) field and an option54(server identity) field carried in the data packet, and executes step S716.
Step S716, judge whether ciaddr field in DHCP Request message is 0, if 0 think the set-top box has not already distributed IP address information, carry out step S717; if not 0, go to step S722.
Step S717, determining whether an option54(server identity information) field in the DHCP Request message is 0, if so, determining that the set-top box has not been allocated a corresponding server identity, and executing step S718; if not 0, go to step S722.
Step S718, if the contents of the ciaddr (IP address information) field and the option54(server identification information) field in the DHCP Request are both 0, it is determined that the set-top box device has changed services, and a new communication address starts to be requested. The broadband access router, as a DHCP Relay server, releases the stored session management resources and executes step S719.
Step S719, the broadband access router, as a DHCP Relay Server, sends a DHCP Release message to the DHCPServer Server to which the address was originally allocated, releases the management communication address allocated on the DHCP Server, and performs step S720.
Step S720, the broadband access router is used as a DHCP Relay server, replies a DHCP Nak message to the set-top box, requires the set-top box to initiate a DHCP Request message again, requests a service address, and executes step S721.
Step S721, the broadband access router does not perform any processing and response on the DHCP Request message received this time, further waits for the set-top box to retransmit the DHCP Request message, and executes the content check of step S701 on the retransmitted DHCP protocol message.
Step S722, judging whether the DHCP Request message is a renewal message of the set top box, if so, entering a normal renewal message processing flow, and executing step S723; if not, go to step S724.
Step S723, if the DHCP Request message is a lease renewing message of the set-top box, the broadband access router, as a relay Server, needs to send a lease renewing message to the DHCP Server, and the device performs normal DHCP lease renewing message interaction.
Step S724, discards the DHCP message that does not meet the protocol specification.
