Based on the above description, the following specific examples are proposed.
First embodiment
A first embodiment of the present invention describes a data service charging method, which can be applied to the above described data service charging device.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart of a data service charging method according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 2, the flowchart may include:
step 201: obtaining a plurality of IMSIs associated with one SIM card and the IMSI currently using the data service in the plurality of IMSIs.
In practical application, the data service charging apparatus may obtain, from the user equipment, a plurality of IMSIs associated with one SIM card and an IMSI currently using a data service among the plurality of IMSIs through interaction with the user equipment; in a specific implementation manner, the user equipment may send, to the data service charging apparatus, a plurality of IMSIs associated with one SIM card and an IMSI currently using a data service among the plurality of IMSIs in a self-service manner such as USSD, SMS, WEB, and the like.
Step 202: receiving a first charging request aiming at the data service of the SIM card from gateway equipment;
in practical applications, an operator allocates a specific IMSI number segment to a SIM card used by a one-card multi-number user, and a gateway device may send a charging request to a corresponding OCS according to an IMSI number segment corresponding to the charging request, that is, when IMSI number segments corresponding to different charging requests are different, different charging requests may be sent to different OCS; for a user of the one-card-multi-number service, the gateway device may send a charging request for its data service to the data service charging apparatus.
The data service charging device is deployed between the gateway equipment and the OCS, and can monitor and forward a charging request sent by the gateway equipment to the OCS in real time.
Step 203: and when determining that the IMSI used for charging carried in the first charging request is different from the IMSI currently using the data service in the IMSIs, modifying the IMSI used for charging carried in the first charging request into the IMSI currently using the data service in the IMSIs, and sending the modified first charging request to an online charging system OCS.
Specifically, when a first charging request sent by the gateway device is received, it is determined whether the IMSI used for charging carried in the first charging request is the same as the IMSI currently using the data service in the IMSIs, if so, the first charging request may be directly forwarded to the OCS, if not, the IMSI used for charging carried in the first charging request is modified into the IMSI currently using the data service in the IMSIs, and the modified first charging request is sent to the OCS.
In a specific example, the IMSI used for charging carried in the first charging request is a primary number in the multiple IMSIs associated with the above one SIM card; the first charging request may be carried in an online charging message-credit control INITIAL request (CCR-INITIAL, CCR-I) message and sent to the data service charging device, and when receiving the CCR-INITIAL message, the data service device may compare an IMSI used for charging carried in the first charging request with an IMSI currently using a data service in the IMSIs, and if the two IMSIs are not consistent, it indicates that the IMSI currently using the data service in the IMSIs is not a main number in the IMSIs, at this time, the data service charging device may modify the IMSI used for charging carried in the first charging request to an IMSI currently using the data service in the IMSIs, and carry the modified first charging request in the CCR-INITIAL message and forward the modified IMSI to the OCS; if the two numbers are not consistent, the data service charging device will not modify the charging number (Subscription-ID AVP) of the data service in the process of forwarding the CCR-INITIAL message to the OCS. Further, the data service charging apparatus records the IMSI currently using the data service among the IMSIs in its session (session), and compares and modifies the charging number in a subsequent online charging message sent by a subsequent gateway device for the session.
Here, after receiving the modified first charging request, the OCS may find a corresponding account according to the IMSI used for charging carried in the modified first charging request, and control the data service used by the user according to the balance corresponding to the found account.
When the one-card multi-number service relates to the data service, the main number associated with the SIM card is usually used as a fixed number for charging the data service, however, in an actual application scenario, there is a need to change the charging number of the data service according to the actual situation; at the charging side, in each IMSI associated with the SIM card, the main number and the auxiliary number correspond to different accounts, and when a user uses different numbers to surf the internet, different accounts can be used for charging; in one example, the primary number of the one-card-multi-number user is a private number of the one-card-multi-number user, the bound auxiliary number is a work number allocated by a company, and the user wants to use the bound auxiliary number as a charging number of the data service during work hours; hopefully using the main number as the charging number of the data service in the rest time; in another example, in a multinational one-card-multinumber service scenario provided by a multinational operator, a primary number and an auxiliary number of a subscriber belong to different countries, and when the subscriber roams internationally, it is desirable to use the auxiliary number belonging to a roaming place as a charging number for a data service, so that the charging can be performed at a rate of the roaming place.
For the requirement of changing the charging number of the data service according to the actual situation, in the embodiment of the invention, the IMSI of the currently used data service is the charging number of the data service, and when the requirement of changing the charging number of the data service exists, the IMSI of the currently used data service, which is acquired in advance, is the charging number of the changed data service; therefore, in the data service charging device, the charging number of the data service in the charging request can be modified according to the charging number of the modified data service, and the OCS can charge according to the modified charging number of the data service after receiving the charging request, so that the requirement of modifying the charging number of the data service can be met.
In addition, when the charging number of the data service is required to be changed, the user can select the charging number of the data service according to actual needs; after receiving the charging number of the data service selected by the user, the user equipment can send the charging number of the data service selected by the user to the data service charging device, and further, based on the data service charging method of the embodiment of the invention, the charging can be carried out aiming at the charging number of the data service selected by the user; that is, after the user dynamically selects the charging number of the data service, the subsequent data service charging process can be implemented for the charging number selected by the user; the data service charging can be respectively carried out aiming at different accounts corresponding to different IMSIs of the one-card multi-number user.
Further, when the user equipment needs to update the charging number of the data service, an update request for the IMSI currently using the data service in the multiple IMSIs may be sent to the data service charging apparatus in the recorded self-service manner, where the update request carries a target IMSI, and the target IMSI is a data service charging number set by the user; in specific implementation, the user may input the target IMSI into the user equipment in a human-computer interaction manner, for example, the user equipment may be provided with an independent peripheral device to provide a human-computer interaction function.
Here, the data service apparatus provides logic for updating the data service billing number; specifically, after receiving an update request for an IMSI currently using a data service in the IMSIs, which is sent by the user equipment, the data service charging apparatus may update the IMSI currently using the data service in the IMSIs to the target IMSI according to the target IMSI carried in the update request; specifically, after receiving the update request, the data service device updates, when determining that the target IMSI carried in the update request is one IMSI of the IMSIs, an IMSI currently using the data service in the IMSIs to the target IMSI.
It can be seen that, in the process of using the data service by the user, if the charging number of the data service changes, the data service charging apparatus may receive the updated charging number (target IMSI) of the data service.
Further, the data service charging apparatus may send, to the gateway device, first indication information after receiving an update request for an IMSI currently using a data service among the IMSIs, where the update request is sent by the user equipment, and the first indication information is used to indicate the gateway device to release a data connection corresponding to the IMSI currently using the data service among the IMSIs; in an example, after receiving the update request, the data service charging apparatus may actively issue an online charging request to the gateway device, where the online charging request is used to instruct the gateway device to release the data connection corresponding to the data service currently used by the user.
When receiving the first indication information, the gateway device may release the data connection corresponding to the IMSI currently using the data service in the IMSIs, and report the data service usage amount corresponding to the original data connection to the data service charging apparatus, where the original data connection is: the data connection is released according to the first indication information; in practical implementation, the gateway device may send a second charging request to the data service charging apparatus, where the second charging request is used to request to charge the data service usage corresponding to the original data connection.
The data service charging device may forward the second charging request to the OCS when receiving the second charging request, and the OCS may charge the data service corresponding to the original data connection according to the second charging request and deduct a corresponding balance from an account of the charging number of the data service before updating.
After determining that the original Data connection is disconnected, the user equipment may send a request for establishing Packet Data Protocol (PDP) connection according to the updated charging number of the Data service, and has requested to establish a corresponding Data connection.
When receiving a PDP connection request, the gateway device may send a third charging request to the data service charging apparatus, where the third charging request carries authentication request information for establishing a new data connection, where the new data connection is: and connecting data corresponding to the target IMSI.
The data service charging device receives a third charging request from the gateway equipment, and modifies the IMSI used for charging carried in the third charging request into: the target IMSI, and sends the modified third charging request to the OCS, so that the OCS can perform authentication and rating according to the third charging request. The updated charging number for the data service (target IMSI) will be used for charging subsequently for new data connections.
In practical applications, the first embodiment of the present invention may be implemented by a processor in a data service Device, and the processor may be at least one of an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC), a DSP, a Digital Signal Processing Device (DSPD), a Programmable Logic Device (PLD), an FPGA, a CPU, a controller, a microcontroller, and a microprocessor. It is to be understood that the electronic device for implementing the above-mentioned processor function may be other electronic devices, and the embodiments of the present invention are not particularly limited.
