Detailed Description
Hereinafter, a remote control device and a storage medium according to an embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings.
Fig. 1 is a diagram showing an example of the overall configuration of a smartphone 30 including an embodiment. In fig. 1, a server device 40 (hereinafter, simply referred to as "server 40"), a network 50, a smartphone 30, a refrigerator 10A, a washing machine 10B, and an air conditioner 10C are shown. In this embodiment, the smartphone 30 is an example of a remote operation device. The refrigerator 10A, the washing machine 10B, and the air conditioner 10C are examples of home appliances.
The refrigerator 10A, the washing machine 10B, and the air conditioner 10C are provided in 1 home. The refrigerator 10A, the washing machine 10B, and the air conditioner 10C are home appliances that can be remotely operated by the smartphone 30. The refrigerator 10A, the washing machine 10B, and the air conditioner 10C are connected to the network 50 via a router or the like provided in a home. In the following description, any one of the refrigerator 10A, the washing machine 10B, and the air conditioner 10C will be referred to as a home appliance 10 without particular distinction among them.
The network 50 is constituted by the internet, a general telephone line, a mobile phone line, and the like. The server 40 relays communication between the smartphone 30 and the home appliance 10 in order to remotely operate the home appliance 10.
The smartphone 30 is provided with an application program (computer program) for remotely operating the home appliance 10. The user activates the application program in the smartphone 30 to remotely operate the home appliance 10. The application program communicates with the home device 10 via the network 50 and the server 40.
Fig. 2 is a diagram showing an example of the configuration of the smartphone 30. The smartphone 30 includes an application 301, for example, a display unit 302, an operation unit 303, and a communication unit 304. The application 301 includes, for example, a home appliance registration unit 305, a startup screen control unit 306, a group unit 307, and a group control unit 308. Each of the above-described units is controlled by a microcomputer including a CPU (Central Processing Unit), a ROM (Read Only Memory), a RAM (Random Access Memory), and the like, which are not shown. Further, a program (application program) of the application program 301 is stored in the ROM. Each functional unit of the application 301 is a software functional unit realized by executing an application program by a hardware processor such as a CPU. However, a part or all of the functional units may be realized by hardware such as ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit), PLD (Programmable Logic Device), FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array), or the like, or may be realized by cooperation of software and hardware.
The home device registration unit 305 registers the home device 10 to be remotely operated in the server 40. Specifically, home appliance registration unit 305 requests server 40 to associate the home appliance registered in server 40 with the account of the user in response to the instruction from the user. Upon receiving the request, the server 40 registers the received account as an account that can be remotely operated with respect to the home appliance 10. The startup-time screen control unit 306 changes the display mode of the operation screen to be initially displayed as a screen for performing remote operation after the application 301 is started, according to the number of home appliances 10 registered by the home appliance registration unit 305. The display mode and the like will be described later.
The grouping unit 307 groups the home devices 10 registered by the home device registration unit 305 according to the types of the home devices 10 or according to the operation of the user. The data representing the group is composed of information uniquely representing the group name and the home devices 10 belonging to the group, and is stored in a ROM (e.g., flash memory).
When, for example, 3 air conditioners are registered as a remote operation target of the user, the group unit 307 groups the 3 air conditioners into 1 group. When an air conditioner, a refrigerator, or a washing machine is registered as a remote operation target of the user, and when the user performs a predetermined operation on the air conditioner and the refrigerator as the grouped home appliance 10, the grouping unit 307 groups the air conditioner and the refrigerator into 1 group. For example, the user can group home appliances 10 installed in his/her room and home appliances installed in the living room, thereby collectively controlling the home appliances 10 or displaying only the home appliances 10 to be operated.
The group unit 307 may automatically perform grouping according to the type of the home appliance 10. For example, each time the home appliances 10 are registered, it is determined whether the same type of home appliances 10 are registered, and when the same type of home appliances 10 are registered, grouping is performed.
The group control unit 308 simultaneously remotely operates the home electric appliances 10 belonging to the group grouped by the group unit 307. Specifically, for example, when 3 air conditioners are grouped into 1 group, the group control unit 308 can perform remote operations such as turning on the power supply or setting the temperature simultaneously for 3 air conditioners belonging to the same group. In the case where the home appliances 10 belonging to the same group are simultaneously controlled, the control instruction is transmitted to the home appliances 10 belonging to the same group in a multicast manner. For example, when the power is turned on at the same time in response to the instruction of the user, a message instructing the power to be turned on is transmitted to the home appliances 10 in the same group in a multicast manner.
The display unit 302 displays various information on a display device such as a liquid crystal display or an organic EL display. The operation unit 303 receives a user operation to a touch panel or function keys superimposed on the display device. The communication unit 304 performs control related to wireless connection in accordance with each standard of wireless LAN or 4G (e.g., long Term Evolution (LTE)).
Fig. 3 is a diagram showing an example of a display mode of an operation screen that is first displayed on the display device as a screen for performing a remote operation after the application 301 is started. Screen 500 shows a screen displayed in the first display mode. The first display mode is a display mode in a case where there are a plurality of home appliances 10 that can be displayed as the home appliances 10 that can be remotely operated, and there are 2 or more types of the home appliances 10 that can be displayed.
The screen 500 is displayed when 1 refrigerator, 1 washing machine, and a plurality of grouped air conditioners are used as the displayable home electric appliances 10. On the screen 500, icons 501, 502, 503, and 504 are displayed. The icon 501 is an icon representing a refrigerator. Icon 502 is an icon representing a washing machine. Icon 503 is an icon showing grouped air conditioners. Icon 504 is an additional icon representing the home appliance.
"XXX-xxxx" displayed in the icon 501 and "YYY-yyyy" displayed in the icon 502 are character strings for identifying the home appliance 10, such as the form and name of the home appliance. The same applies to an icon 601 and the like described later. Further, "air conditioner" displayed on the icon 503 indicates a group name. In the following description, icons representing 1 home electric appliance 10 may be expressed as separate icons as shown in the icons 501 and 502. As shown by the icon 503, icons representing the grouped home electric appliances 10 may be displayed as group icons. An additional icon representing the home appliance 10 may be represented as a registered icon as shown by the icon 504.
When the icon 501 is touched, a remote operation screen of the refrigerator as shown in the third display mode is displayed. When the icon 502 is touched, a remote operation screen of the washing machine is also displayed. As indicated by the icon 503, the grouped home devices 10 are represented by 1 icon. Since the group icon like the icon 503 is a group icon, a character string for identifying the home appliance 10 is not displayed. When the icon 503 is touched, a plurality of icons representing the grouped air conditioners are displayed as shown in the second display mode. When the icon 504 is touched, a screen, not shown, for additionally registering the home appliance 10 is displayed.
Screen 600 represents a screen displayed in the second display mode. The second display mode is a display mode in the case where there are a plurality of home appliances that can be displayed as the home appliance 10 that can be remotely operated, and there are 1 type of home appliance 10 that can be displayed. That is, the second display mode is a display mode in the case where the home appliances 10 capable of displaying are a plurality of home appliances of the same type.
The screen 500 is displayed when the displayable home electric appliances 10 are 3 grouped air conditioners. On screen 600, icons 601, 602, 603, and operation buttons 604 are shown. The icon 601 is an icon representing 1 air conditioner belonging to the group. The icon 602 is an icon representing 1 air conditioner belonging to the group. An icon 603 is an icon representing 1 air conditioner belonging to the group. The operation button 604 is a button for simultaneously remotely operating the home electric devices 10 belonging to the group. When any of the icons 601, 602, and 603 is touched, a remote operation screen of the air conditioner corresponding to the icon is displayed.
As shown in the screen 600, in the second display mode, the group icons of the icons 503 shown in the screen 500 are not displayed, but the individual icons are displayed. In this way, since the user displays the independent icon without touching the group icon, the remote operation screen is displayed with fewer operations than in the case where the group icon is displayed, and thus the convenience of the user can be improved.
The screen 700 shows a screen displayed in the third display mode. The third display mode is a display mode in the case where 1 home appliance 10 is capable of displaying as a home appliance 10 capable of remote operation. A screen 700 shows a remote operation screen of the refrigerator. Information related to the refrigerator is displayed on the remote operation screen. In screen 700, when the user touches "refrigerator compartment", for example, a screen for remotely operating the refrigerator compartment is displayed, and remote operation can be performed on the screen.
As shown in the screen 700, in the third display mode, the remote operation screen of the home appliance 10 is displayed without displaying an independent icon such as the icon 501 shown in the screen 500. Thus, the user can display the remote operation screen of the home appliance 10 without touching the independent icon. In this way, the remote operation screen is displayed with fewer operations than in the case where the independent icon is displayed, and therefore, the convenience of the user can be improved.
The screens displayed in the first, second, and third modes shown in fig. 3 are examples of the operation screen. As shown in fig. 3, the remote operation screen is displayed with a small number of operations by changing the number of registered home appliances 10, and thus, the convenience of the user can be improved. As shown in the first, second, and third aspects, the number of home appliances 10 indicates the number of home appliances 10 or the number of types of home appliances 10.
Fig. 4 is a diagram showing another example of the screen. The screen 800 shows an initial startup screen displayed when the application 301 is initially started up after the application 301 is installed in the smartphone 30. The screen 800 is a screen for showing the summary of the application 301 to the user. The screen 900 is a home appliance non-registration screen displayed when the number of registered home appliances is 0. Since the home appliance is not registered, only the registration icon is displayed. Screen 1000 shows an authentication screen for authenticating a user, which is displayed before the operation screen is displayed. An input field for inputting a user ID of a user and an input field for inputting a password are displayed on an authentication screen. This authentication screen is displayed before the display operation screen when the authentication screen is first started and/or when the authentication screen is checked out when the application 301 is currently used. Even if the authentication screen is displayed in this manner, the screen is displayed in the first, second, and third modes depending on the number of registered home electric devices 10, so that the convenience of the user can be improved. Further, since the authentication process is preferably performed when the user logs out at the time of previous use, security can be ensured by displaying the authentication screen.
The application 301 changes the display mode of the operation screen depending on whether or not the home appliance 10 can communicate. When the home appliance 10 is not communicable, the image representing the home appliance 10 is not displayed on the operation screen, or the image representing the home appliance 10 is displayed in a different manner (for example, gray). As an example, in the screen 500 illustrated in fig. 3, a display mode in the case where the washing machine is not communicable will be described.
Fig. 5 is a diagram illustrating a display manner in a case where the washing machine is not communicable. Fig. 5 shows the screen 500 described in fig. 3 and screens 510 and 520 showing display modes in the case where the washing machine is not communicable. Screen 510 shows a display mode in which icon 502 representing the washing machine is not displayed. The screen 520 shows a display mode in which the icon 502 representing the washing machine is displayed in gray.
In the screen 510, since the icon 502 is not displayed, the icon 502 cannot be selected, and therefore the screen does not transition to the remote operation screen of the washing machine. In the screen 520, although the icon 502 is displayed in gray, the screen does not transition to the remote operation screen of the washing machine even if the icon 502 is touched. In either case, since the remote operation cannot be performed when communication is not possible, transition to the remote operation screen is not made. By doing so, it is possible to prevent wasteful transition to an inoperable remote operation screen, and thus user convenience can be improved. Further, when the icon displayed in gray is touched, the user may be notified of the fact that communication is not possible via a pop-up screen or the like.
In the case of the system in which no icon is displayed, as in the case of the screen 510, the area in which the icon is displayed is left by 1, and therefore, the area in which the icon is displayed can be effectively used. In the case where the icon is displayed in gray as in the screen 520, the user can recognize at a glance that the communication is not possible.
In addition, although the group icons are displayed when the group is formed, for example, when all but 1 of the home electric appliances 10 belonging to the group are not communicable, the group icons are not displayed, but the individual icons are displayed. In this way, the application 301 changes the display mode of the operation screen according to the status of the home electric appliances 10 belonging to the grouped group when grouped. By doing so, the user does not need to touch the group icon, but only touches the independent icon, so it is possible to improve the convenience of the user.
Next, a flow of the startup processing of the application 301 will be described. Fig. 6 is a flowchart showing the flow of the startup processing of the application 301.
After the application 301 is installed in the smartphone 30, the CPU of the smartphone 30 determines whether or not the application 301 is started for the first time (step S101). In the case where the application 301 is first started (yes in step S101), the CPU displays a first start screen (screen 800 in fig. 4) (step S103) and proceeds to step S104. If the application 301 is not started for the first time (no in step S101), the CPU determines whether or not the application is started in the log-out state (step S102). The logout state is a state of logging out and starting when the application 301 has been used last time.
If the mobile terminal is not started in the log-out state (no in step S102), the mobile terminal connects to the server 40 and determines whether or not the authentication is successful in step S105. When the mobile terminal is started in the log-out state (YES in step S102), the CPU displays an authentication screen (screen 1000 in FIG. 4) (step S104). The CPU determines whether the authentication is successful (step S105). Here, authentication is performed by, for example, sending a user ID and a password to the server 40. If the authentication is not successful (no in step S105), the process returns to step S104, and the authentication screen is displayed again. In both the case where a negative determination is made in step S102 and authentication is performed, and the case where an authentication screen is displayed in step S104 and authentication is performed, the authentication screen is displayed again when the server 40 cannot provide a service (for example, maintenance or the like). Here, it is assumed that the authentication screen is displayed again by forcibly logging out even when the user ID and the password are correct or even when the system is not started in a logged-out state. For example, "maintenance" or the like may be displayed on the authentication screen.
If the authentication is successful (yes in step S105), the CPU determines whether the registered home electric appliance 10 is 0 (step S106). If the registered home appliance 10 is 0 (yes in step S106), the CPU displays a home appliance non-registration screen (screen 900 in fig. 4) (step S107), and ends the startup processing. If the registered home electric appliance 10 is not 0 devices (no in step S106), the process proceeds to step S201 in fig. 7.
In step S201 of fig. 7, the CPU checks the communication state with the registered home appliance 10 (step S201). The CPU excludes the household electrical appliance 10 that is not communicable from the display object (step S202). This flowchart shows an example of processing based on a mode in which the household electrical appliance 10 that is not communicable is not displayed in gray but is not displayed. The CPU determines whether the home appliance 10 that can be displayed is 0 as a result of excluding the non-communicable home appliance 10 from the display target (step S203). If the displayable home appliance 10 is 0 (yes in step S203), the CPU displays a home appliance non-registration screen (screen 900 in fig. 4) (step S107), and ends the startup processing.
If the displayable home appliances 10 are not 0 devices (no in step S203), the CPU determines whether the displayable home appliances 10 are 1 device (step S204). If the number of displayable home appliances is 1 (yes in step S204), the CPU displays the home appliances in the third display mode (screen 700 in fig. 3) (step S205), and ends the startup process.
If the displayable home appliances are not 1 (yes in step S204), the CPU determines whether the displayable home appliances 10 belong to the same group (step S206). If the displayable home appliances 10 belong to the same group (yes in step S206), the CPU displays the home appliances 10 in the second display mode (screen 600 in fig. 3) (step S207), and ends the startup process. If the displayable home appliances are not belonging to the same group (no in step S206), the CPU displays the home appliances 10 in the first display mode (screen 500 in fig. 3) (step S208), and ends the startup process.
As described above, since the screen is displayed in, for example, the first display mode, the second display mode, and the third display mode according to the number of the registered home appliances 10, it is possible to improve the convenience of the user. In the present embodiment, the number of home appliances 10 or the number of types of home appliances 10 is described as an example of the number of home appliances 10. For example, if there are 1 refrigerator, 1 washing machine, and 3 air conditioners, the screen 500 is displayed. When 3 air conditioners are provided and 1 home appliance 10 is provided, the screen 600 is displayed. In addition, the display mode may be changed according to the number of home appliances 10. For example, when 1 refrigerator, 1 washing machine, and 3 air conditioners are provided, 1 icon corresponding to an air conditioner may be displayed for 1 refrigerator and 1 icon corresponding to an air conditioner, instead of the screen 500. In this case, 5 icons are displayed on 1 screen, including icons corresponding to the refrigerator and the washing machine.
In the related art, there is a technique of displaying a screen displayed at the time of the previous use at the time of startup. In this case, the user may not know how to transition from the screen to another screen (e.g., a menu screen). According to this embodiment, since the screen is displayed in any one of the first display method, the second display method, and the third display method, the remote operation screen can be easily displayed for any one of the registered home appliances, and thus, the convenience of the user can be improved. The mode of display on the screen by the startup-time screen control unit 306 is not limited to 3 of the first display mode, the second display mode, and the third display mode. The mode displayed on the screen by the startup-time screen control unit 306 may be any 2 display modes of the first display mode, the second display mode, and the third display mode. The display mode of the screen by the startup screen control unit 306 may be 4 or more display modes.
In this embodiment, an example in which the remote operation device is applied to a smartphone is described, but the remote operation device may be a tablet terminal or a terminal capable of network connection such as a PC (Personal Computer). Further, the smartphone 30 remotely controls the home appliance 10 via the server 40, but may be remotely controlled only via an in-home LAN without via the server 40, or may be remotely controlled by a peer-to-peer network connection. The home appliance 10 may be a microwave oven, a rice cooker, a vacuum cleaner, or the like.
According to the remote operation device of the above-described embodiment, user convenience can be improved.
Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the embodiments are presented by way of example only and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention. The above embodiments can be implemented in various other ways, and various omissions, substitutions, and changes can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention. The above-described embodiments and modifications thereof are included in the scope and gist of the invention, and are also included in the invention described in the claims and the equivalent scope thereof.
The program (application program, that is, the computer program) may be stored in a storage medium (for example, a computer-readable storage medium) other than the information processing apparatus (for example, the smartphone 30), and may be read from the storage medium to the information processing apparatus or downloaded from the storage medium to the information processing apparatus to be executed by the information processing apparatus (computer). The "storage medium" broadly means a device capable of storing a computer program, and may be a portable storage medium such as an optical Disk, a USB (Universal Serial Bus) storage device, or various Memory cards, or may be a fixed electronic device (such as a server device or other electronic devices) including a Memory device such as an HDD (Hard Disk Drive), a flash Memory, or a ROM (Read Only Memory).
Hereinafter, some remote operation devices and programs are described.
