Description

Chemical reagent extrusion auxiliary tool and method for extruding chemical reagent
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a chemical agent extrusion assisting tool, and also relates to a method of extruding a chemical agent using the chemical agent extrusion assisting tool, a kneader for producing a chemical agent, and a container for forming a chemical agent using the chemical agent extrusion assisting tool.
Background
A spray gun type sprayer for an aqueous paste-like dental material (Japanese patent application laid-open (KOKAI) No.725578/PCT International publication No. WO95/00078) is called an instrument for extruding a chemical agent WHIC through an injection needle or catheter. H is so viscous that the user encounters difficulty in squeezing with his/her fingers. A lance-type injector for resin-based bone cements such as polymethylmethacrylate (PCT International application publication No. WO 94/169511) has also been developed. Further, there has been proposed an ejector which is combined with a compressor such as calcium phosphate-based cement (Japanese patent application laid-open (KOKAI) No.5-317333), which is a highly viscous sludge-like kneaded substance requiring a particularly high pressure. And (4) extrusion molding. However, these ejectors, particularly those associated with compressors, are complex and large in size and are therefore not easy to use. Since the syringes that extrude the bone cement during surgery must be sterilized, they are preferably disposable. The ejector in the above publication is disadvantageous in terms of cost and size. Furthermore, the gun-type injectors conventionally used for extruding dental materials and resin-based bone cements have relatively large diameter outlets and are therefore not suitable for fine extrusion applications, such as topical filling or chemical agent applications.

Detailed Description
The chemical agent extrusion assisting tool includes a cylindrical tool body 5. The tubular container 8 is accommodated in a cylindrical space formed in a central portion of the tool body 5 and is slidable on an inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical space. A recess is formed around an upper end edge of an inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical space. The recess is adapted to prevent the tubular container 8 from slipping out of the cylindrical space. The recess is in a form corresponding to the shape of the flange of the tubular container 8 and prevents the tubular container 8 from rotating with the pusher when the pusher is rotated. An annular cylindrical space 6 surrounding the cylindrical space is open at the upper end surface of the cylinder; i.e. on the end surface of the cylindrical body, into which the tubular container 8 is inserted. An annular cylindrical space 6 extends longitudinally within the cylindrical body to a predetermined depth. So that the piston can be inserted sufficiently into the tubular container 8 to ensure that the chemical agent is completely expelled therefrom. The pusher comprises a handle portion 1 and a tubular body 3. The handle portion 1 and the tubular body 3 may be formed separately and then fixedly secured together by suitable means, for example, by adhesive screw engagement or bonding. However, from the viewpoint of strength, the handle portion 1 and the tubular body 3 are integrally formed. The circumferential surface 2 of the tubular body 3 is in threaded engagement with a circumferential surface 7 of a cylindrical body defining a cylindrical space 6 of the tool body 2. In the case of the depth of the cylindrical space 6, the length of the tubular body 3 is preferably determined so that the piston 5 can be inserted sufficiently into the tubular container 4 to ensure the complete squeezing of the chemical agent. The circumferential surface of the cylindrical body defining the annular cylindrical space 6 of the tool body 5 is in threaded engagement with the circumferential surface of the tubular body 3. Rotation of the handle portion 1 causes the tubular body 3 to enter a cylindrical space 6 formed in the cylindrical body. Further, the piston 4 pressed by the handle portion 1 is inserted into the tubular container 8, thereby extruding the chemical agent. Either one of the two circumferential surfaces of the cylinder defines an annular cylindrical space 6 and the respective inner or outer circumferential surface of the tubular body 3 is threaded. Tapering the pitch of the thread reduces the force required to depress the piston 4. Thickening the pitch increases the pressing speed. Therefore, it is preferably in the range of 1 to 20 mm, particularly preferably in the range of 3 to 10 mm, depending on the viscosity of the chemical agent contained in the tubular container 8. First, a mixed powder of calcium phosphate and a kneading liquid is placed in a mortar. The resulting mixture was kneaded with a pestle. The kneaded cement was loaded into a syringe barrel. The syringe barrel used was a commercially available syringe having a capacity of 10 ml. The injection needle used was a commercially available disposable injection needle (18G). Next, the syringe barrel is accommodated in a cylindrical space formed in the tool body. The flange portion of the syringe barrel is placed in a recess formed around the upper end edge of the inner circumferential surface of the tool body 5, thereby preventing the syringe barrel from slipping out of the tool body. Subsequently, an 18G luer lock needle was attached to the outlet portion of the syringe barrel. Then, the tubular body 6 of the thruster is mounted in an annular cylindrical space 6 formed in the tool body by screwing. The handle portion is rotated to advance the tubular body into the annular cylindrical space, thereby pressing the piston 4 into the syringe barrel by the handle portion, thereby extracting the kneaded cement through the injection needle. The use of the chemical agent extrusion assisting tool described above enables the user to extrude kneaded cement very easily. In addition, the kneaded cement was completely extruded without any residue in the syringe barrel.
