Abstract

A method for arranging icons applied to a terminal with a display screen comprises the following steps: displaying a home screen, the home screen having a first picture as wallpaper, displaying a first set of icons on the home screen; entering a wallpaper setting interface, and displaying a second picture; receiving input of a user when the second picture is continuously displayed; displaying a visual cue on the second picture in response to the user's input, the visual cue corresponding to a first region; displaying the home screen with the second picture as wallpaper, displaying a second set of icons on the home screen, the second set of icons being automatically arranged in an area outside the first area, the second set of icons including one or more icons of the first set of icons. The terminal, graphical user interface for the terminal and associated embodiments of using the terminal are described below. As one of the motion sensors, the accelerometer sensor can detect the magnitude of acceleration in each direction (generally three axes), detect the magnitude and direction of gravity when stationary, and can be used for applications (such as horizontal and vertical screen switching, related games, magnetometer attitude calibration) for recognizing the attitude of the mobile phone, and related functions (such as pedometer and tapping) for vibration recognition; as for other sensors such as a gyroscope, a barometer, a hygrometer, a thermometer, and an infrared sensor, which can be configured in the mobile phone 100, the detailed description is omitted.
Audio circuitry 160, speaker 161, and microphone 162 may provide an audio interface between a user and the mobile telephone 100. The audio circuit 160 may transmit the electrical signal converted from the received audio data to the speaker 161, and convert the electrical signal into a sound signal for output by the speaker 161; on the other hand, the microphone 162 converts the collected sound signal into an electric signal, which is received by the audio circuit 160 and converted into audio data, which is then processed by the audio data output processor 180 and then transmitted to, for example, another mobile phone via the RF circuit 110, or the audio data is output to the memory 120 for further processing.
WiFi is a short-range wireless transmission technology, and the mobile phone 100 can help the user send and receive e-mails, browse web pages, access streaming media, etc. through the WiFi module 170, which provides the user with wireless broadband internet access. Although fig. 1 shows the WiFi module 170, it is understood that it does not belong to the essential components of the mobile phone 100, and may be omitted entirely as needed.
The processor 180 is a control center of the mobile phone 100, connects various parts of the entire mobile phone using various interfaces and lines, performs various functions of the mobile phone 100 and processes data by operating or executing software programs and/or modules stored in the memory 120 and calling data stored in the memory 120, thereby monitoring the mobile phone as a whole. Alternatively, processor 180 may include one or more processing units; preferably, the processor 180 may integrate an application processor, which mainly handles operating systems, user interfaces, application programs, etc., and a modem processor, which mainly handles wireless communications. It will be appreciated that the modem processor described above may not be integrated into the processor 180.
The mobile phone 100 also includes a power supply 190 (e.g., a battery) for powering the various components, which may preferably be logically coupled to the processor 180 via a power management system that may be used to manage charging, discharging, and power consumption.
Although not shown, the mobile phone 100 may further include a camera, a bluetooth module, etc., which will not be described herein.
Fig. 2 shows a schematic diagram of software components of the mobile phone provided by the embodiment of the present application, and the mobile phone 100 further has software components which can be stored in the memory 120 and can include an operating system 121, a communication module 122, a graphic module 123, a text input module 124, a positioning system module 125 (such as a Global Positioning System (GPS)), an application program 126, and the like.
Among other things, the operating system 121, such as Android system (Android), apple system (IOS), UNIX system, Window system, etc., is used to control various software components and/or drivers that manage general system tasks (such as power management, etc.), and to facilitate communication between various hardware and software components.
The communication module 122 includes various software components and the like for managing data received through the RF circuitry 100 and/or the WiFi module 170.
The graphic module 123 includes various known software components and the like for displaying various graphics on the display unit 140, wherein the graphics include any objects that may be displayed to a user, including but not limited to text, item lists, icons (e.g., soft key icons displayed on a touch screen, application icons, etc.), digital images, videos, animations, and the like.
The text input module 124 may provide a soft keyboard through a graphics module to input text corresponding to user operations into various applications.
The location system module 125 is used to determine the location of the mobile phone and provide the location information for use by applications, such as a mapping application.
The application 126 may include, but is not limited to, at least any of the following: a phonebook module 126a, an instant messaging module 126b, a web browsing module 126c, a camera module 126d, a video playing module 126e, a social networking module 126f, a music playing module 126g, a calendar module 126h, a system setting module 126i, a picture viewing editing module 126j, an application mall module 126k, an electronic mailbox transceiver module 126l, a widget module 126n, and the like. The widget module 126k may include, among other things, a calculator widget, a weather widget, a notification widget, a calendar widget, and the like.
In combination with the processor 180, the input unit 130, the display unit 140 and the related application programs, after receiving the input signal of the user to the input unit 130, the mobile phone performs corresponding operation and processing, generates a corresponding output signal and transmits the output signal to the display unit 140, so that the mobile phone can interact with the user in a visual and operable manner. In some preferred embodiments, the input unit 130 and the display unit 140 are implemented by a touch screen.
In addition, the mobile phone may further include one or more keys, which may be physical keys or soft keys displayed through the display unit. In some embodiments, the physical keys may be input by actual pressure presses, the physical keys may include buttons for turning on/off the power of the device and locking the device, and buttons for adjusting the volume, and the soft keys may obtain input by way of the aforementioned contacts. In alternative embodiments, the mobile phone 100 may also accept voice input for activating some functions through the microphone 162, or motion input for activating some functions through the sensor 150, such as obtaining a shaking motion through a gravity sensor, etc.
Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of a mobile phone with a touch screen according to an embodiment of the present application, the mobile phone 100 has a speaker 161, a camera 132, a sensor 150, and some physical keys 210 (e.g., a volume control key, a screen lock/unlock key, etc.), the mobile phone 100 has a touch screen 200 thereon, and a user can input control commands for various touch operations of the touch screen 200, including controlling an object pointed to by contacting a corresponding area with one or more fingers 202 or a stylus. The contact may include one or more consecutive clicks, hovering over the touch screen 200 and sliding (left to right, right to left, up/or down, circling, etc.). For example, when the user holds a finger on the touch screen 200 and slides, the mobile phone 100 displays a process of translating the current page on the touch screen 200 along the sliding direction. The touch screen 200 is used to display a user interface for interaction with a user, can display the user interface in an intuitive manner, and can display the user interface for interaction with the user in an easy-to-operate manner.
Fig. 4 shows a user interface on a mobile phone according to an embodiment of the present application, where, as in fig. 4, the user interface 400 exemplarily includes, on the mobile phone 100:
a wallpaper 440;
a communications carrier indicator 401 in a status area 410; a strength indicator 402 for indicating the strength of the communication; a strength indicator 403 for indicating the strength of the wireless network; a battery status indicator 404; a time 405;
a phonebook 126a, a short message 126b, a webpage 126c and a camera 126d in the shortcut application icon area 420;
a return key 406, a main menu key 407(home key), and a task management key 408 in the soft keypad 430; (some mobile phones implement a return key, a home menu key, and a human task management key by physical keys or touch keys outside a display area, and such mobile phones may not have the soft key region 430), the soft key region may be displayed according to user input;
and
a widget 406(widget) comprising a number of widgets 126n in the widget 406;
icons for one or more applications, comprising: videos 126e, social contacts 126f, music 126g, calendars 126h, settings 126i, pictures 126j, application mall 126k, mailboxes 126l, and so on.
The state area, the shortcut application icon area, the soft key area, the widget and one or more icons displayed on the wallpaper can be directly covered on the wallpaper or displayed on the wallpaper in a new layer mode.
Based on the above user interfaces, in some embodiments, the user may perform corresponding operations through input operations (e.g., clicking, long-pressing, sliding, or other gesture operations) on the application or the soft key on the user interface displayed on the touch screen, for example, accessing the corresponding application, opening the interface corresponding to the soft key, and moving, merging, deleting an icon of the application, and the like.
In some embodiments, the user interface 400 can present icons of all available applications on one screen, where the user can directly see the icons of all applications. In some embodiments, the number of icons of the application programs is large, the icons cannot be directly displayed on one screen, the icons can be distributed in a plurality of virtual screens in a split screen mode, and a user can switch among the plurality of virtual screens through an operation action (for example, a touch action of a finger of the user on a touch screen) to view the icons of all the application programs. The main screen is one of a plurality of virtual screens, and in the present embodiment, the main screen is a display area that is viewed after logging in or unlocking when other electronic products such as a mobile phone are opened, and when other virtual screens other than the main screen are displayed on the display device of the mobile phone or when an interface of an application program is displayed, the display device displays the main screen by operating the main menu key 407. When the mobile phone has a plurality of virtual screens, the user can display one virtual screen in the display area by an operation action, and each virtual screen can be wallpaper with the same picture content, wallpaper with different content in the same picture, or wallpaper with different pictures. The main screen may be changed to any one of a plurality of virtual screens according to user settings.
Fig. 5a and 5b show a user interface with two virtual screens, points 510 and 511 for identifying the virtual screen currently displayed. As shown in fig. 5a, the virtual screen corresponding to the point 510 is displayed, the point 510 is a dot identifier filled with black, the point 511 is a dot identifier filled with black and white, the virtual screen right side corresponding to the point 510 is also not displayed, when the leftward sliding input of the user is detected, the interface of fig. 5b is displayed, and is the virtual screen corresponding to the point 511, at this time, the point 511 is a dot identifier filled with black, and the point 510 is a dot identifier filled with black and white. Fig. 5a corresponds to a home screen, and thus the display apparatus displays the user interface shown in fig. 5a by clicking the main menu key 407 when the user interface is in the state shown in fig. 5 b. Each virtual screen has a status area 410 and a shortcut application icon area 420, and if the mobile phone implements a return key, a main menu key, and a task management key through a soft key area 430, there is a soft key area in each virtual screen.

In the embodiment of the application, the mobile phone provides a function that the user selects the arrangement prohibition area, and the icons are arranged at the positions outside the arrangement prohibition area, so that the condition that important objects on the wallpaper are blocked is avoided.
In the present embodiment, the main screen is taken as an example, and the above method is applied to each arrangement of icons on a virtual screen for a mobile phone having a plurality of virtual screens.
Steps S102-S103 may be implemented by:
as shown in fig. 7a, the mobile phone provides a function of selecting a free graphic area, the finger 202 of the user slides on the touch screen, and the mobile phone displays the sliding track 703 after detecting the sliding input, so that an area 704 corresponding to the sliding track 703 is an area where the user selects to prohibit the icon arrangement. The user is detected to click the "done" option 701 to select done, and the user is detected to click the "cancel" option 702 to cancel the selection.
As shown in fig. 7b, the mobile phone provides a selection function of a rectangular area, a rectangle with an edge 7051 is displayed on the picture 740, the finger 202 can move the positions of four edges of the rectangle on the touch screen, for example, the edge 7051 is moved to the left of the edge 7052, so as to form a rectangle 705, and when the user is detected to click on the "done" option 701, an area 706 corresponding to the rectangle 705 is an area of the arrangement-prohibited icon selected by the user.
As shown in fig. 8a to 8b, in another implementation manner of selectively prohibiting the arrangement of icon areas provided in the embodiments of the present application, as shown in fig. 8a, icons 801a to 801x are overlaid on a picture 740, and the icons 801a to 801x may be icons of an actual application program or preset icons, such as uniform white icons. Icons 801a-801x are arranged on picture 740 in the size and spacing of the icons on the home screen prior to wallpaper setting. The user can click on any icon, such as icons 801m and 801 n. The mobile phone detects that the icons 801m and 801n are clicked, and can display the icons 801m and 801n in a transparent or hidden state, as shown in fig. 8b, and the icons 801m and 801n become transparent. When the user clicks the "done" option 701 to complete the selection, the positions corresponding to the icons 801m and 801n prohibit the arrangement of the icons of the application programs. The user may click on the position of the icon 801m or 801n in the state shown in fig. 8b, and the icon 801m or 801n returns to the state shown in fig. 8a as the icon 801m or 801 n.
As shown in fig. 9 a-9 b, in another embodiment of selecting the icon region prohibited from being arranged according to the embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 9a, on a picture 940, two objects are recognized by the mobile phone and are identified by rectangles 901 and 902. The mobile phone may recognize the object in the picture by using a known image recognition algorithm, such as an edge detection algorithm, and determine the position and size of the rectangle according to the recognized object. If the user agrees that the icons are prohibited from being arranged in the areas corresponding to the rectangles 901 and 902, the "done" option 701 may be clicked. Alternatively, the user may click on the rectangle 901 or 902 to take the area corresponding to the rectangle 901 or 902 as the area where the arrangement of icons is prohibited. As shown in fig. 9b, when it is detected that the user clicks the rectangle 901, the rectangle 901 changes into a rectangle with semi-transparent stripes, and when the user clicks the "done" option 701, the area corresponding to the rectangle 901 is an area where the icons are prohibited from being arranged. For rectangles 901 and 902, the user can also resize their position and size, which can be done in a manner similar to that shown in FIG. 7 b.
In an embodiment of the present application, it is considered that status information, shortcut icons, soft keys, and the like need to be displayed in the status area 410, the shortcut application icon area 420, and the soft key area 430 of the mobile phone, respectively, and therefore these areas may be excluded when the icon area prohibited from being arranged is selected, and these three areas may be excluded or some of the three areas may be excluded according to design requirements. As shown in fig. 10, the mobile phone displays a box 1001 on a picture 740, and prompts the user to select an area in which the arrangement of icons is prohibited in the box 1001, and areas other than the box 1001 are a status area 410, a shortcut icon area 420, and a soft key area 430.
In the embodiment of the present application, the areas corresponding to the areas 704, 706, 901 shown in fig. 7a, 7b and 9b and the icons 801m and 801n in fig. 8b may be directly used as the arrangement prohibition areas, or may be further adjusted. Taking the area 704 as an example, when the area 704 is taken as the arrangement prohibition area, the main screen display is as shown in fig. 11a, and all the icons and widgets 406 are arranged outside the area 704. The face of the puppy in wallpaper 740 is not occluded. The mobile phone may derive a rectangle 708 as in fig. 11b from the area 704, the rectangle 708 including the area 704 therein, i.e. the boundaries of the area 704 are within the rectangle 708, and the mobile phone takes the area corresponding to the rectangle 708 as the forbidden arrangement area. The home screen display is shown in fig. 11b, where all icons and widgets are arranged outside the area corresponding to rectangle 708, and icon 710 in fig. 11a is located at a position where the icons cannot be arranged in fig. 11 b.
In step 104, the arrangement icons may be arranged according to a preset rule, for example, the application icons are arranged at positions outside the arrangement-prohibited area from left to right and from top to bottom according to the time sequence from the earliest downloading to the latest downloading, or arranged at positions outside the arrangement-prohibited area from left to right and from top to bottom according to the sequence of the number of uses from left to bottom according to the use situation. The icons may be aligned up and down and left and right at predetermined intervals (see fig. 11a and 11 b). It can also be adjusted according to the forbidden arrangement area, as in fig. 11c, icons 711,712,713 are not aligned with other icons, thus adding icons 711 and 713 compared to fig. 11a, so that more icons can be placed on this screen.
The arrangement icons can also be arranged according to the positions of the user moving the icons, namely, the user manually adjusts the positions of the icons. If it is detected that the user drags the icon into the arrangement prohibition area, a prompt is displayed on the display device, as shown in fig. 12, if it is detected that the user's finger 202 drags the icon 710 into the arrangement prohibition area 704, a prompt 711 of "placement of the icon is prohibited here" is displayed, and if the user's finger 202 is released, the icon 710 returns to the original position (as shown in fig. 11a), optionally, the prompt may not be performed.
FIG. 13 is a flow diagram of an example process for setting wallpaper.
In step S201, the mobile phone displays a wallpaper setting interface.
A general mobile phone provides a wallpaper setting function in a setting application or an option of setting a picture as wallpaper in a menu item when browsing pictures in a gallery. The embodiment takes setting a wallpaper setting function in an application as an example.
Local wallpaper is displayed in the wallpaper setting interface, and as shown in fig. 14a, 4 thumbnails representing 4 pictures are displayed. Local wallpaper, i.e. a picture taken by the system itself, or a picture taken by the user may be used in the wallpaper setting. When it is detected that the user clicks on "album" in FIG. 14a, the mobile phone displays an album interface for the user to select a picture in the album.
In step S202, the mobile phone detects a user selection of a thumbnail and displays a picture corresponding to the thumbnail selected by the user in response to the user selection.
Displaying the picture corresponding to the thumbnail selected by the user may be displayed in a full screen manner, as shown in fig. 14 b. If the user is detected to click on "√" 1402, then tile 1440 is taken as wallpaper; if it is detected that the user clicks "x" 1401, the state of fig. 14a is returned. When it is detected that the user clicks on "blurring" 1406, the picture 1440 is subjected to blurring processing, such as blurring. If the user selection of "disable" 1407 is detected, then figure 14c is displayed.
In step S203, the mobile phone detects that the user selects the "disable" option, and displays tool options of the selected area.
As shown in fig. 14c, menu 1411 is a "free graphic" option, menu 1412 is a "rectangular" option, and menu 1413 is an "icon preview" option.
In step S204, the mobile phone detects an input of a user selection area.
According to the selection of the menu 1411,1412,1413 by the user, it can be realized by steps S204a, S204b, S204c, respectively.
In step S204a, when it is detected that the user clicks the menu 1411, the mobile phone detects a sliding track of the finger or the stylus of the user on the touch screen, or a moving track of the user on the screen through the mouse, which may specifically refer to fig. 7a and the corresponding description, and is not described here again.
In step S204b, when it is detected that the user clicks the menu 1412, the mobile phone displays a rectangle on the picture 1440, and detects the adjustment of the position and size of the rectangle by the user, which may specifically refer to fig. 7b and the corresponding description, which are not described herein again.
In step S204c, when it is detected that the user clicks the menu 1413, the mobile phone displays an analog icon array on the picture 1440, as shown in fig. 14d, the analog icon array covers all areas of the home screen where icons can be placed, the icon array includes a plurality of selectable icons, and the size and the distance between the selectable icons are the size and the distance currently set by the system. The icon is a preset icon or an icon of a corresponding application program. User selection of an icon, such as icon 801s, is detected.
Detecting the user clicking "x" 702 returns to fig. 14 b.
In response to the user' S input of the selection area, the mobile phone displays a visual cue corresponding to the arrangement prohibition area S205.
Corresponding to steps S204a and S204b, a visual cue is displayed, where the visual cue is generated according to the user input track or a graph adjusted by the user, and the visual cue corresponds to the arrangement prohibition region, and the arrangement prohibition region may be formed based on the region selected by the user in the manner shown in fig. 7a and 7b, which is not described herein again.
Corresponding to step S204c, as shown in fig. 14e, a visual cue is displayed, such as the icon 801S is changed to a transparent icon, and the position corresponding to 801S is the arrangement prohibition area.
In step S206, it is detected that the user clicks "check" 701, the area selection is ended, and the process returns to fig. 14b, or menu options "x" 1401 and "check" 1402 are provided in the interface of fig. 14e, it is detected that the user clicks "check" 1402, and the wallpaper setting interface 14a is displayed.
In step S207, the mobile phone detects that the user clicks the home menu key 407, and displays a home screen in which icons on the home screen are arranged outside the arrangement prohibition area before changing the wallpaper, with the picture 1440 as the wallpaper. The main screen before wallpaper replacement is shown in fig. 14f, and the main screen after wallpaper replacement is shown in fig. 14 g.
In an actual product, some changes may be made as required to implement the above embodiment, for example, in S203, after detecting that the user selects the prohibited cloth 1407, a plurality of area selection modes are not provided, and the image of fig. 14d is directly displayed. Such as by detecting a user click 1402 and displaying the home screen directly.
The mobile phone displays icons in a split screen mode, namely icons of application programs are distributed in a plurality of virtual screens, if 8 icons of a main screen are arranged before wallpaper is changed, after the wallpaper is changed, only 6 icons can be placed on the main screen, then 2 extra icons can be placed in other screens, if the icons are not placed in other screens, an extra icon is placed on a newly added screen, or 2 extra icons and one icon of the 6 icons are combined in one folder icon to be displayed by the folder icon.
In fig. 15a, icons 1501 and 1512 are arranged in the main screen, and after wallpaper is changed, as shown in fig. 15b, icons 1501 and 1510 and folder icons 1513 are arranged in the main screen, and icons 1511 and 1512 are placed in the folder icon 1513.
In the present embodiment, the main screen is taken as an example, and the above method is applied to each arrangement of icons on a virtual screen for a mobile phone having a plurality of virtual screens. The method is also suitable for the application program which can change the background picture.
Fig. 16 shows a flowchart of another method provided by the embodiments of the present application.

Unlike the above-described embodiment, in response to an input of a user selecting an area, a visual cue is displayed, the visual cue corresponding to an area where arrangement of icons is permitted, and the icons are arranged in the area where arrangement is permitted when the home screen is displayed. In the embodiment of the method, a mode for selecting an area by a user, a visual prompt, an arrangement order of icons, and the like are provided, and reference may be made to the above embodiment.
The embodiment of the application also provides a method for arranging icons, wherein the mobile phone displays a picture, when an instruction of changing the wallpaper by a user is received, the mobile phone identifies the patterns in the picture, and after the mobile phone returns to the main screen, the icons of the main screen are arranged at positions other than the identified patterns.
As shown in fig. 17, the embodiment of the present application further provides an apparatus for icon arrangement, wherein the apparatus includes a picture display module 1701, an input module 1702, an area setting module 1703 and a screen display module 1704. Wherein the screen display module 1704 is configured to display a home screen, the home screen having a first picture as wallpaper, the home screen displaying a first set of icons thereon; the picture display module 1701 is used for displaying a second picture; an input module 1702 for receiving user input; the region setting module 1703 is configured to display a visual cue on the second picture according to the input of the user, where the visual cue corresponds to the first region; the screen display module 1704 is further configured to display the home screen after receiving the indication to wallpaper the second picture, the home screen displaying a second set of icons on the home screen with the second picture as wallpaper, the second set of icons being automatically arranged in an area outside the first area, the second set of icons including one or more icons of the first set of icons. .
In some embodiments, the input module 1702 detects a sliding input by a user; the region setting module 1703 displays a visual cue according to the trajectory of the slide input.
In some embodiments, the picture display module 1701 also displays an adjustable size and position graphic on the second picture; the input module 1702 detects a user adjustment to the size and position of the graphic; the region setting module 1703 displays the adjusted graphics as a visual cue.
In some embodiments, the picture display module 1701 displays a selectable third set of icons on the second picture, the third set of icons being arranged on the second picture at an icon size and spacing of the first set of icons; the input module 1702 detects a user selection of an icon in the third set of icons; the region setting module 1703 displays the change of state of the icon selected by the user as a visual cue.
In some embodiments, the picture display module 1701 is further configured to prompt the user for input on the second picture in a second area, the second area being an area other than the status area and the shortcut icon area when the second picture is wallpaper.
In some embodiments, the apparatus further comprises an icon detection module to: detecting that a user moves a first icon of the second icons; the prompting module is used for prompting a user that the first icon cannot be placed in the first area when the first icon is detected to move to the first area.
The device and the process of realizing the arrangement of the home screen icons by the modules of the device refer to the steps corresponding to some embodiments of the method, and are not described again.
In the above embodiments, the implementation may be wholly or partially realized by software, hardware, firmware, or any combination thereof. When implemented in software, may be implemented in whole or in part in the form of a computer program product. The computer program product includes one or more computer instructions. When loaded and executed on a computer, cause the processes or functions described in accordance with the embodiments of the application to occur, in whole or in part. The computer instructions may be stored in a computer readable storage medium or transmitted from one computer readable storage medium to another, for example, from one website site, computer, server, or data center to another website site, computer, server, or data center via wired (e.g., coaxial cable, fiber optic, Digital Subscriber Line (DSL)) or wireless (e.g., infrared, wireless, microwave, etc.). The computer-readable storage medium can be any available medium that can be accessed by a computer or a data storage device, such as a server, a data center, etc., that incorporates one or more of the available media. Claims (27)

  1. A method for arranging icons is applied to a terminal with a display screen, wherein the method comprises the following steps:
    displaying a home screen, the home screen having a first picture as wallpaper, displaying a first set of icons on the home screen;
    entering into a wallpaper setting interface of the wallpaper setting,
    the second picture is displayed and the second picture,
    while the second picture is continuously displayed, receiving user input,
    displaying a visual cue on the second picture in response to the user's input, the visual cue corresponding to a first region;
    displaying the home screen with the second picture as wallpaper, displaying a second set of icons on the home screen, the second set of icons being automatically arranged in an area outside the first area, the second set of icons including one or more icons of the first set of icons.
  2. The method of claim 1, wherein the receiving a user input is receiving a user swipe input,
    the displaying of the visual cue on the second picture is displaying a trajectory of the sliding input on the second picture.
  3. The method of claim 1, wherein after said displaying the second picture and before said receiving the user input, the method further comprises: displaying a graphic of adjustable size and position on the second picture;
    the input of the receiving user is the adjustment of the size and the position of the graph by the receiving user;
    the displaying of the visual cue on the second picture is displaying of the adjusted graphic on the second picture.
  4. The method of claim 1, wherein after said displaying the second picture and before said receiving the user input, the method further comprises: displaying a third group of icons on the second picture, wherein the third group of icons are arranged on the second picture according to the icon size and the interval of the first group of icons, and the third group of icons are displayed in a first mode;
    the receiving user input is receiving user selection of one or more icons in the third set of icons;
    the displaying of the visual cue on the second picture is displaying the selected icon in a second manner, the second manner being different from the first manner; or the displaying a visual cue on the second picture is not displaying the selected icon.
  5. The method of any of claims 1-4, wherein after displaying the second picture and before the receiving the user input, further comprising:
    and prompting a user to input in a second area, wherein the second area is an area except for a state area and a shortcut icon area when the second picture is used as wallpaper.
  6. The method of any of claims 1-5, wherein the automatic arrangement of the second set of icons in the area outside of the first area is such that the second set of icons are arranged in the area outside of the first area with download time or number of uses.
  7. The method of any of claims 1-6, wherein the second set of icons is less in number than the first set of icons,
    one icon in the second group of icons is a folder icon, and the first group of icons comprises icons in the folder icon and icons in the second group of icons except the folder icon.
  8. The method of any of claims 1-7, wherein after the displaying a second set of icons on the home screen, the second set of icons being automatically arranged in an area outside the first area, the method further comprises:
    detecting that a user moves a first icon of the second icons;
    and when the first icon is detected to move to the first area, prompting a user that the first icon cannot be placed in the first area.
  9. A terminal, comprising:
    a display unit for displaying a user interface;
    an input unit for receiving a user input;
    a memory for storing a computer program;
    the processor is used for running the computer program and executing the following processes:
    displaying a home screen, the home screen having a first picture as wallpaper, displaying a first set of icons on the home screen;
    entering into a wallpaper setting interface of the wallpaper setting,
    the second picture is displayed and the second picture,
    while the second picture is continuously displayed, receiving user input,
    displaying a visual cue on the second picture in response to the user's input, the visual cue corresponding to a first region;
    displaying the home screen with the second picture as wallpaper, displaying a second set of icons on the home screen, the second set of icons being automatically arranged in an area outside the first area, the second set of icons including one or more icons of the first set of icons.
  10. The terminal of claim 9, wherein the receiving of the user input is receiving a sliding input of the user,
    the displaying of the visual cue on the second picture is displaying a trajectory of the sliding input on the second picture.
  11. The terminal of claim 9, wherein the processor is further configured to perform, after the displaying the second picture and before the receiving the user input: displaying a graphic of adjustable size and position on the second picture;
    the input of the receiving user is the adjustment of the size and the position of the graph by the receiving user;
    the displaying of the visual cue on the second picture is displaying of the adjusted graphic on the second picture.
  12. The terminal of claim 9, wherein the processor is further configured to perform, after the displaying the second picture and before the receiving the user input: displaying a third group of icons on the second picture, wherein the third group of icons are arranged on the second picture according to the icon size and the interval of the first group of icons, and the third group of icons are displayed in a first mode;
    the receiving user input is receiving user selection of one or more icons in the third set of icons;
    the displaying of the visual cue on the second picture is: displaying the selected icon in a second manner, the second manner being different from the first manner; or the displaying a visual cue on the second picture is not displaying the selected icon.
  13. The terminal of any of claims 9-12, wherein the processor is further configured to, after the displaying the second picture and before the receiving the user input, perform:
    and prompting a user to input in a second area, wherein the second area is an area except for a state area and a shortcut icon area when the second picture is used as wallpaper.
  14. A terminal according to any of claims 9-13, wherein the automatic arrangement of the second group of icons in the area outside the first area is such that the second group of icons is arranged in the area outside the first area with download time or number of uses.
  15. The terminal of any of claims 9-14, wherein the number of the second set of icons is less than the number of the first set of icons,
    one icon in the second group of icons is a folder icon, and the first group of icons comprises icons in the folder icon and icons in the second group of icons except the folder icon.
  16. The terminal of any of claims 9-15, wherein, after the displaying a second set of icons on the home screen, the second set of icons being automatically arranged in an area outside the first area, the processor is further configured to perform:
    detecting that a user moves a first icon of the second icons;
    and when the first icon is detected to move to the first area, prompting a user that the first icon cannot be placed in the first area.
  17. An apparatus for icon arrangement, comprising:
    the screen display module is used for displaying a main screen with a first picture as wallpaper, displaying a first group of icons on the main screen,
    the picture display module is used for displaying a second picture;
    the input module is used for receiving user input;
    the region setting module is used for displaying a visual prompt on the second picture according to the input of the user, wherein the visual prompt corresponds to the first region;
    the screen display module is further configured to display the home screen with the second picture as wallpaper, and display a second set of icons on the home screen, the second set of icons being automatically arranged in an area outside the first area, the second set of icons including one or more icons of the first set of icons.
  18. The apparatus of claim 17, wherein the input module is to receive a sliding input by a user,
    the area setting module is used for displaying the track of the sliding input on the second picture.
  19. The apparatus of claim 17, wherein the picture display module is further configured to display an adjustable size and position graphic on the second picture;
    the input module is used for receiving the adjustment of the size and the position of the graph by a user;
    the region setting module is used for displaying the adjusted graph on the second picture.
  20. The apparatus of claim 17, wherein the picture display module is further configured to display a third set of icons on the second picture, the third set of icons being arranged on the second picture at icon sizes and spacings of the first set of icons, the third set of icons being displayed in the first manner;
    the input module is configured to receive a user selection of one or more icons of the third set of icons;
    the area setting module is used for displaying the selected icon in a second mode, wherein the second mode is different from the first mode; or the displaying a visual cue on the second picture is not displaying the selected icon.
  21. The apparatus according to any of claims 17-20, wherein the picture display module is further configured to prompt a user to enter in a second area on the second picture, the second area being an area outside of a status area and a shortcut icon area when the second picture is wallpaper.
  22. The apparatus of any of claims 17-21, wherein the automatic arrangement of the second set of icons in the area outside of the first area is such that the second set of icons are arranged in the area outside of the first area with download times or number of uses.
  23. The apparatus of any of claims 17-22, wherein the second set of icons is less numerous than the first set of icons,
    one icon in the second group of icons is a folder icon, and the first group of icons comprises icons in the folder icon and icons in the second group of icons except the folder icon.
  24. The apparatus of any one of claims 17-23, wherein the apparatus further comprises:
    the icon detection module is used for: detecting that a user moves a first icon of the second icons;
    the prompting module is used for prompting a user that the first icon cannot be placed in the first area when the first icon is detected to move to the first area.
  25. A graphical user interface on a terminal having a display screen, wherein the graphical user interface comprises:
    displaying a main screen, wherein the main screen uses a first picture as wallpaper, and displays a first group of icons on the first picture;
    the second picture is displayed and the second picture,
    displaying a visual cue on the second picture in response to the user's input, the visual cue corresponding to a first region;
    displaying the home screen with the second picture as wallpaper, displaying a second set of icons on the home screen, the second set of icons being automatically arranged in an area outside the first area, the second set of icons including one or more icons of the first set of icons.
  26. A computer-readable storage medium comprising instructions that, when executed on a computer, cause the computer to perform the method of any one of claims 1-8.
  27. A computer program product comprising instructions which, when run on a computer, cause the computer to perform the method of any one of claims 1 to 8.
