judging whether the map information conforms to the map information of the existing version through the block chain protocol processing module, and editing and converting the map information and the map information of the existing version into block chain map information of an updated version conforming to a block chain protocol if the map information does not conform to the map information of the existing version; and

and transmitting the updated version of the blockchain map information to the blockchain network through the network interface for the map client connected to other nodes on the blockchain network to use.

2. The blockchain-based map updating method according to claim 1, wherein the map client is a smart phone or a portable navigation device.
