Detailed Description
The following features and embodiments of the present invention will be described in sufficient detail to enable those skilled in the art to readily understand and practice the technical means employed to solve the technical problems of the present invention, and to achieve the effects of the present invention.
The invention can use the fonts installed in the operating system to identify the characters displayed in the target range, thereby monitoring the information displayed in the target range.
The system operation of the present invention will be described with reference to fig. 1, which is a system architecture diagram of the present invention using installed font recognition screen text. As shown in fig. 1, the system of the present invention includes a region selection module 110, an image capturing module 120, an attribute determination module 150, a text recognition module 170, and an image processing module 130 and a prompting module 160 that may be added.
The region selection module 110 is responsible for selecting a target range (not shown) from a display (not shown). The area selection module 110 may provide a mode of directly inputting coordinates in the display screen to select the target area, may provide a mode of clicking and dragging in the display screen to select the target area in the display screen, or may provide a double-click in the display screen and use an area enclosing the double-clicked position as the target area, but the invention is not limited thereto, and any mode of providing a user to select the monitoring area in the display screen may be used in the invention. The region selection module 110 may define range identification data for the selected target range after selecting the target range, wherein the range identification data may be generated by any number of words, letters, numbers, and symbols arranged arbitrarily, and generally, the range identification data is not repeated, that is, one range identification data may represent one target range.
In some embodiments, the area selection module 110 may also select a monitoring area (not shown) from the display screen, and analyze the selected monitoring area to determine one or more monitoring targets from the monitoring area. The area selection module 110 may select one monitoring target from all the determined monitoring targets, so that the range covered by the monitoring target selected by the area selection module 110 in the display screen is the target range.
The area selection module 110 may determine the monitoring target according to the color blocks and/or the lines of the monitoring area in the display screen, for example, determine different color blocks in the monitoring area as different monitoring targets, determine the portions separated by the lines in the monitoring area as different monitoring targets, determine the portions with different line thicknesses in the monitoring area as different detecting targets, etc., but the manner in which the area selection module 110 determines the monitoring target in the monitoring area is not limited to the above, for example, the area selection module 110 may determine the monitoring target in the monitoring area according to the control component or other objects in the monitoring area.
The image capturing module 120 captures an image covered by the target range selected by the region selecting module 110 from the display screen. The image captured by the image capturing module 120 is referred to as a target image in the present invention.
The image capturing module 120 may capture a target image from the image according to the position data of the target range after capturing the image including the whole display image; the image capturing module 120 may also directly capture the target image from the display screen according to the position data of the target range. The position data in the present invention may represent the position of the target range in the display screen, for example, the coordinates of the upper left corner and the lower right corner of the target range, and the coordinates of the upper left corner of the target range, the width and the height of the target range, and the like, but the present invention is not limited thereto.
The image processing module 130 can determine the foreground color and the background color of the target image captured by the image capturing module 120, and remove (remove) the background of the target image captured by the image capturing module 120 according to the determination result, so as to emphasize the lines in the target image, and further reduce the possibility of erroneous determination by the attribute determining module 13.
The attribute determining module 150 is responsible for comparing the fonts in the operating system with the target images captured by the image capturing module 120 to determine the font attributes of the text displayed in the target range selected by the region selecting module 110. The font attributes determined by the attribute determination module 150 include, but are not limited to, font, size, bold, italic, bottom line, strikethrough, etc. In this case, since the operating system must display the text in the monitored area using the installed fonts, and when the font properties of the same text displayed by the operating system are the same, the style and the feature displayed in the display screen are fixed, the property determination module 150 may determine the font properties of the text displayed in the target range by different sizes of the fonts in the font library 102 installed in the operating system.
The attribute determination module 150 may first compare the target image with one or more common fonts to determine the font attributes of the text in the target range. The common fonts according to the present invention may be defined by an operating system, a specific external application, or the attribute determining module 150, which is not particularly limited. For example, the attribute determining module 150 may accumulate the number of times of the determined fonts each time the font attribute is determined, and may define a font whose accumulated number reaches the threshold value as a common font, or may define a plurality of fonts whose accumulated number is greater as a common font.
In some embodiments, the common fonts may also be fonts used by the characters in different target ranges in the same display screen judged by the attribute judging module 150, for example, if the display screen includes two target ranges, the attribute judging module 150 may preferably use the judged fonts of the characters in the first target range to compare with the target image captured according to the second target range after completing the judgment of the fonts of the characters in the first target range, and if the comparison result indicates that the characters included in the target image captured according to the second target range are the same as the fonts used by the characters in the first target range, the characters in the second target range are the same as the characters in the first target range; if the characters in the second target range are different from the characters in the first target range according to the characters in the second target range, the attribute determining module 150 may continuously compare the characters in the second target range with the characters in the first target range, so as to determine the character type attribute of the characters in the target range.
The attribute determining module 150 may determine the font attribute of the text in the target range selected by the region selecting module 110 by using all other fonts in the font library 102 installed in the operating system when the font attribute of the text in the target range cannot be determined by the common fonts. Similar to the conventional fonts, the attribute determining module 150 can compare each font in the font library 102 with the target image captured by the image capturing module 120 one by one to determine the font attribute of the text in the target range.
In some embodiments, the attribute determining module 150 may also extract templates or features of the input text from all fonts in the font library 102, and use the extracted templates or features to compare with the target image, so as to increase the comparison speed.
The prompt module 160 may display the foreground color and the background color judged by the image processing module 130 and provide a confirmation, and the prompt module 160 may display the font property judged by the property judging module 150 and provide a confirmation. In general, the prompt module 160 may pop up a dialog box or a dialog window to display information such as foreground color and background color, or font properties; the prompting module 160 may also display the text represented by the target image 321 in the dialog box or the dialog window by using the determined font property, so as to provide a confirmation of whether the font property is correct, but the invention is not limited thereto.
The prompting module 160 may pop up a dialog box or a dialog window for displaying the target image when the attribute determining module 150 cannot determine the font attribute of the text in the target range according to the common font, and provide all or part of the text represented by the target image input in the displayed dialog box or dialog window, that is, provide the complete text or part of the text in the input target range.
The text recognition module 170 is responsible for recognizing the text in the target range selected by the region selection module 110 according to the font property determined by the property determination module 150. In more detail, the text recognition module 170 can perform text recognition on the target image according to the font attribute determined by the attribute determination module 150. Generally, the text recognition module 170 can perform text recognition on the target image captured by the image capturing module 120, and can also capture the target image by itself, which is not particularly limited in the present invention.
In some embodiments, the text recognition module 170 may record the correspondence between the target range selected by the region selection module 110 and the font attribute determined by the attribute determination module 150, for example, record the coordinates of the upper left corner of the target range and the corresponding font attribute, or record the identification data of the target range and the corresponding font attribute, but the invention is not limited thereto.
The word recognition module 170 may also recognize the words in each target range by using the corresponding font attribute according to the corresponding relationship between the font attribute and the target range. The text recognition module 170 can recognize the text in the target range at fixed time intervals or at predetermined time intervals, but the invention is not limited thereto.
Next, an embodiment of the operation system and method of the present invention is described, and please refer to fig. 2A, which is a flowchart illustrating a method for recognizing screen text using installed fonts. In this embodiment, it is assumed that the present invention is applied to a system for monitoring a display screen.
First, the region selection module 110 may select a target range (step 220). In this embodiment, it is assumed that the area selection module 110 may provide that the user selects a target range in the display screen 300 as shown in fig. 3A using a mouse, for example, the user may select one cell (cell) in the real-time status monitoring table of the window 310 displayed in the foreground as the target range 413 by clicking and dragging in the display screen 300 through the area selection module 110; the user may also operate the mouse to double-click at any position in the target range 413, so that the region selection module 110 may obtain the double-clicked position and determine a region enclosing the double-clicked position after detecting that the double-clicked event is generated, so as to select the target range 413.
After the region selection module 110 selects the target range 413, the image capturing module 120 may capture a target image covered by the target range 413 (step 230).
It should be noted that, in the present invention, the region selection module 110 may directly select the target range in the current display screen, and then the image capturing module 120 captures the target image on the display screen according to the position data of the target range selected by the region selection module 110; alternatively, after the image capturing module 120 captures a frame image of the current display frame, the region selecting module 110 may select a target range from the frame images captured by the image capturing module 120, and the image capturing module 120 captures a target image from the frame images according to the position data of the target range selected by the region selecting module 110.
After the image capturing module 120 captures the target image (step 230), the attribute determining module 150 may compare the font in the operating system with the target image captured by the image capturing module 120 to determine the font attribute of the text in the target range selected by the region selecting module 110 (step 250). In this embodiment, it is assumed that the attribute determining module 150 can compare the common fonts such as Arial, time New Roman, new plain text, standard script and the like with the target image to determine the font attribute of the text in the target range 413 (step 251), and if the attribute determining module 150 can determine the font attribute of the text in the target range 413 from the common fonts, the word identifying module 170 can start executing.
If the attribute determining module 150 cannot determine the font attribute of the text in the target range 413 from the common fonts, the attribute determining module 150 may determine the font attribute of the text in the target range 413 by using all fonts already installed in the font library 102 of the operating system, so as to complete the determination of the font attribute of the text in the target range 413.
After the attribute determining module 150 determines the font attribute of the text in the target range 413 selected by the region selecting module 110 (step 250), the text identifying module 170 may identify the text in the target range 413 according to the font attribute determined by the attribute determining module 150 (step 260). In this embodiment, it is assumed that the text recognition module 170 can record the corresponding relationship between the target range 413 selected by the region selection module 110 and the font attribute determined by the attribute determination module 150, that is, record the range identification data of the target range 413 and the corresponding font attribute as one data, and then the text recognition module 170 can recognize the text in the target range 413 according to the corresponding font attribute.
In practice, after the character recognition module 170 recognizes the characters in the target range 413 according to the font property determined by the property determination module 150 (step 260), it may determine whether to end the monitoring (step 270). If so, the invention ends execution, otherwise, the text recognition module 170 may recognize the text in the target range 413 according to the recorded font property corresponding to the target range 413 after a period of time (step 270) until the monitoring is judged to be ended.
Thus, by the invention, the characters in the target range can be accurately identified without the need of additional maintenance of templates or features as in the conventional character identification software.
In the above embodiment, if the image processing module 130 is included, after the image capturing module 120 captures the target image, the image processing module 130 can analyze the target image to determine the foreground color and the background color in the target image, and can remove the target image from the background according to the determined foreground color and background color (step 240), so that the attribute determining module 150 can obtain a more accurate comparison result and accurately determine the font attribute of the text in the target range when comparing the target image with the fonts installed in the font library 102 of the operating system.
In addition, in the above embodiment, if the prompting module 160 is included, as shown in the flow of fig. 2B, after the attribute determining module 150 compares the common font with the target image captured by the image capturing module 120 (or the image processing module 130 is completed to remove the back) to determine the font attribute of the text within the target range 413 selected by the region selecting module 110 (step 251), the prompting module 160 may display a window or dialog box 320 as shown in fig. 3B to display the font attribute determined by the attribute determining module 150 (step 253), and provide the user with a confirmation whether the font attribute determined by the attribute determining module 150 is correct (step 255), that is, provide the user with a confirmation whether the font attribute determined by the attribute determining module 150 is correct according to whether the text displayed by the comparison result field 323 is the same as the text represented by the target image 321. If the user confirms that the two characters are different, the attribute determining module 150 is indicated to determine that the input device such as a mouse is incorrect, the user can click the key 324 indicating that the input device is incorrect, and if the user confirms that the two characters are identical, the attribute determining module 150 is indicated to determine that the input device is correct, the user can click the key 325 indicating that the input device is incorrect.
If the user clicks the button 324 indicating the error determined by the attribute determining module 150, the attribute determining module 150 may compare all fonts in the font library 102 installed in the operating system with the target image 321 to determine the font attributes of the characters in the target range 413 (step 259), and if the user clicks the button 325 indicating the correct determined by the attribute determining module 150, the character identifying module 170 may begin to identify the characters in the target range 413 according to the font attributes determined by the attribute determining module 150.
Before the attribute determining module 150 compares all fonts in the font library 102 installed in the operating system with the target image 321 to determine the font attributes of the characters in the target range 413 (step 259), the prompting module 160 may display a window or dialog box 330 as shown in fig. 3C to provide all or part of the contents of the characters represented by the target image 321 input by the user, that is, to provide all or part of the characters in the target range 413 input by the user (step 257), so that when the attribute determining module 150 determines the font attributes of the characters in the target range 413 again, the template or feature of the input characters may be extracted from all fonts installed in the font library 102, and the extracted sample or feature may be used to compare with the target image 321, so as to speed up determining the font attributes of the characters in the target range 413.
In addition, in the above embodiment, before the area selection module 110 selects the target range (step 220), the area selection module 110 may provide a monitoring area selected by the user, and analyze the monitoring area selected by the user to determine one or more monitoring targets. As shown in fig. 4, the area selection module 110 may provide a real-time status monitoring table of the user selection window 310 as the monitoring area 400, and then the area selection module 110 may determine the monitoring targets in the monitoring area 400, that is, the target ranges 411-414, 421-422, etc., according to the lines and color patches in the monitoring area 400, and select one target range one by one, and repeat the above steps 220-270 to identify the characters in each target range.
If the target range 413 is the first target range selected by the region selection module 110, after the region selection module 110 selects another target range (step 220), the attribute determination module 150 may preferably use the fonts used by the text of the target range 413 to compare with the target image when comparing the fonts in the font library 102 installed in the operating system with the target image captured by the image capture module 120 (step 250). If the template or feature of the font used by the text of the target range 413 matches the text represented by the target image, the attribute determination module 150 may determine that the text of the other target range selected by the region selection module 110 also uses the same font, and if the template or feature of the font used by the text of the target range 413 matches the text represented by the target image, the attribute determination module 150 may determine the font attribute of the text of the other target range selected by the region selection module 110 using steps 251 to 259, so that the text recognition module 170 may recognize the text in the target region according to the font attribute determined by the attribute determination module 150 (step 260).
In summary, the difference between the present invention and the prior art is that the present invention has the technical means of judging the font attribute of the text displayed in the target range according to the font in the operating system, and identifying the text in the target range according to the judged font attribute, so that the technical means can solve the problem that the optical character identification in the prior art needs to be selected and removed in terms of maintenance complexity and identification accuracy, and further achieve the technical efficacy of obtaining the text identification result with high accuracy by simple maintenance with high efficiency.
Furthermore, the method for recognizing the picture characters by using the installed fonts can be realized in hardware, software or a combination of the hardware and the software, and can also be realized in a centralized way in a computer system or a scattered way that different components are scattered in a plurality of interconnected computer systems.
While the embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the description is not intended to limit the scope of the invention. Any person skilled in the art to which the present invention pertains will appreciate that it is within the scope of the invention to make some changes in form and detail of the implementation of the invention without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention disclosed herein. The scope of the invention is to be defined only by the appended claims.
