Detailed Description

As shown in fig. 2, after the swing rod cylinder 3 extends out of the swing rod, the turntable 4 is driven to rotate clockwise by a set angle, so that the left connecting rod 15 and the right connecting rod 18 rotate clockwise at the same time, the hinge point of the left connecting rod 15 and the right connecting rod 18 on the turntable 4 moves to the position above the hinge point of the swing rod 14 on the turntable 4, and in the process of moving, the lower ends of the left clamping arm 16 and the right clamping arm 19 are automatically lifted, so that the left clamping plate 17 and the right clamping plate 20 on the upper end faces of the left clamping arm 16 and the right clamping arm 19 are pressed downwards at the same time, and the steering shaft 8 is clamped at. When the steering shaft 8 needs to be loosened, the swing rod cylinder 3 retracts the swing rod, and the left clamping arm assembly 5 and the right clamping arm assembly 6 move in opposite directions.
In order to make the clamping stroke of the left clamping arm assembly 5 and the right clamping arm assembly 6 more accurate and avoid the situation that the left clamping arm assembly 5 and the right clamping arm assembly 6 are damaged by overlarge stress or damage to the steering shaft due to overlarge thrust output by the swing rod cylinder 3, the lower ends of the left clamping arm 16 and the right clamping arm 19 are both provided with a limiting groove 21, the hinged parts of the upper ends of the left connecting rod 15 or the right connecting rod 18 are respectively positioned in the limiting grooves 21 and can move in the limiting grooves 21, and when the steering shaft 8 is clamped by the left clamping plate 17 and the right clamping plate 20, the upper ends of the left connecting rod 15 or the right connecting rod 18 just abut against the side wall of the limiting groove 21 to limit further rotation of the left clamping.
The limiting groove 21 comprises a space avoiding part 22 and a limiting part 23, the space avoiding part 22 is located on the oblique upper side of the limiting part 23, the space avoiding part 22 is recessed inwards relative to the limiting part 23, and the space avoiding part 22 provides a rotating space for the left connecting rod 15 or the right connecting rod 18 and does not interfere with the rotation of the left connecting rod 15 and the right connecting rod 18.
The surface of the left clamping plate 17 and the right clamping plate 20 is fixed with a buffer rubber layer 24, the buffer rubber layer 24 is provided with a plurality of rubber protrusions, and the rubber protrusions can increase the surface roughness of the buffer rubber layer 24, so that the friction force between the surface of the steering shaft 8 and the left clamping plate 17 or the right clamping plate 20 is increased, the steering shaft 8 is further effectively pressed, and the flexible rubber protrusions cannot crush the steering shaft 8.
The working process of the tool is as follows: in an initial state, the left clamping arm assembly 5 and the right clamping arm assembly 6 are opened, the steering shaft 8 is placed in the positioning groove 7, the swing rod cylinder 3 is started, the turntable 4 is pushed to rotate clockwise by an angle, the left clamping arm assembly 5 and the right clamping arm assembly 6 move correspondingly, the left clamping plate 17 and the right clamping plate 20 press the steering shaft 8 simultaneously, the steering shaft 8 is fixed, and steering parts such as a universal joint or a steering wheel are mounted at the end part of the steering shaft 8. After the installation is finished, the swing rod cylinder 3 resets to enable the left clamping arm assembly 5 and the right clamping arm assembly 6 to be restored to an open state, and the installed steering gear assembly is taken down.

An auxiliary tool for mounting a steering shaft of a passenger car is characterized by comprising a base, a positioning seat, a swing rod cylinder, a turntable, a left clamping arm assembly and a right clamping arm assembly, wherein the positioning seat is mounted on the base and can support the steering shaft; the turntable is vertically hinged to the side wall of the positioning seat, the swing rod of the swing rod cylinder, the left clamping arm assembly and the right clamping arm assembly are respectively hinged to the turntable, the hinged point of the left clamping arm assembly and the hinged point of the right clamping arm assembly on the turntable are respectively located on two sides of the hinged point of the swing rod cylinder on the turntable, the upper ends of the left clamping arm assembly and the right clamping arm assembly are respectively hinged to the top of the positioning seat, and the swing rod cylinder can drive the turntable to rotate so that the upper ends of the left clamping arm assembly and the right clamping arm assembly simultaneously press the steering shaft.
