Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of household intelligent multimedia, in particular to a household multimedia resource sharing method and system based on UPnP.
Background
The UPnP is called "Universal Plug and Play" and is an extension of pnp (device Plug and Play), and can discover and control various network devices and provide corresponding services. UPnP is not just a simple extension to plug and play, but it supports "0 configuration" and wireless networks, and can automatically discover devices provided by other vendors. Under the UPnP protocol, a device can dynamically join a network, obtain an IP address, broadcast its capabilities, and learn about the capabilities of other devices. UPnP protocols can be used by a wide variety of devices, including smart devices, wireless devices. The UPnP uses standard TCP/IP and Internet protocols, so that the UPnP can be well used in the existing network, the standard protocols can make the UPnP profit from various existing experiences and knowledge, various information islands are broken, and the UPnP can cross various physical layers, be wired or wireless, so that the mutual cooperation between devices becomes a basic characteristic. UPnP uses various existing standard protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPU, SSDP, GENA. The use of these standardized protocols ensures interoperability between the various devices. In summary, UPnP is built on top of various protocols, rather than APIs, which enables its application on a variety of different platforms. Meanwhile, the network equipment is built on various existing standards, has great flexibility and can well meet the requirements of various network equipment at present and in the future.
