Detailed Description
To further illustrate the technical means and effects of the present invention adopted to achieve the predetermined purpose, the following detailed description of the embodiments, structures, features and effects of the adapting device and the display device according to the present invention will be made with reference to the accompanying drawings and the preferred embodiments.
The foregoing and other technical and scientific aspects, features and advantages of the present invention will be apparent from the following detailed description of preferred embodiments, which is to be read in connection with the accompanying drawings. While the present invention has been described in connection with the preferred embodiments, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiments, but is intended to cover various modifications, equivalent arrangements, and specific embodiments thereof.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of an adapting device according to an embodiment of the present invention, and for convenience of description, only the parts related to the embodiment of the present invention are shown. As shown in fig. 1, the adapting device 10 includes an identification module 101 and a control module 102, wherein the identification module 101 is configured to obtain LED color temperature block classification information of the backlight assembly, the control module 102 is connected to the identification module 101 and the timing controller, and the control module 102 outputs a corresponding control signal to the Timing Controller (TCON) according to the LED color temperature block classification information obtained by the identification module 101, so that the timing controller performs color compensation and correction by retrieving and locking corresponding RGB gain values, and simultaneously outputs a feedback signal to a Microcontroller (MCU) to set a circuit output to the LED light string.
The LED color temperature block classification information of the backlight assembly is recorded on the backlight assembly, the identification module 101 sends the LED color temperature block classification information to the control module 102 after obtaining the LED color temperature block classification information, the control module 102 further outputs corresponding digital signals to be fed back to the time schedule controller for identification, the time schedule controller calls RGB gain values stored in corresponding registers according to the digital signals and locks the RGB gain values, wherein the adjustment of the RGB gain values refers to adjusting the gain values of RGB components through an ACC color adjustment technology to carry out chromaticity consistency adjustment, in addition, the time schedule controller simultaneously outputs feedback signals to the microcontroller while carrying out the chromaticity consistency adjustment, and the current output to the LED lamp string is adjusted to carry out the brightness consistency adjustment.
Specifically, in the present embodiment, G, J, H, K, P, N types of LED color temperature blocks exist, and corresponding to the above six types, in the prior art, the same set of ACC codes, that is, RGB gain values are used for color compensation and correction, which causes very large color difference of optical measurement and inconsistent chromaticity specifications, in the present embodiment, a set of RGB gain values is separately set for the six types of LED color temperature blocks, specifically, in an embodiment, for the G type LED color temperature block, the gain values of RGB three components are respectively 88%, 87% and 100%, for the J type LED color temperature block, the gain values of RGB three components are respectively 90%, 91% and 100%, for the H type LED color temperature block, the gain values of RGB three components are respectively 91%, 92% and 100%, and for the K type LED color temperature block, the gain values of RGB three components are respectively 91%, 93% and 100%, and the gain values of the RGB three components are 91%, 99% and 100% for the P-type LED color temperature blocks, and 93%, 100% and 100% for the N-type LED color temperature blocks, respectively. However, adjusting the RGB gain values to solve the problem of the uniformity of the chromaticity specification results in a larger difference of the brightness specification of the display device, so the current output to the LED string is further adjusted to adjust the brightness uniformity.
In one embodiment, the identification module 101 is a code scanning module, the LED color temperature block classification information of the backlight assembly is recorded in a bar code and/or a two-dimensional code on the backlight assembly, and the code scanning module acquires the LED color temperature block classification information by identifying the bar code and/or the two-dimensional code on the backlight assembly.
In an embodiment, the identification module 101 further includes an illumination unit, which automatically illuminates when the ambient brightness is detected to be less than the preset value, so that the identification module 101 performs code scanning identification.
The adapting device 10 provided by the embodiment of the invention outputs corresponding control signals to the time sequence controller according to the classification information of the LED color temperature blocks, so that the time sequence controller performs color compensation correction by calling and locking corresponding RGB gain values, and sets the current output to the LED lamp string by outputting feedback signals to the microcontroller, thereby realizing the one-to-one correspondence of the LED color temperature blocks and the RGB gain values, meeting the requirement of color specification consistency, and simultaneously optimizing the brightness specification consistency of products, and the adapting device 10 provided by the invention can also enable the backlight assembly and the time sequence controller (namely a time sequence controller board) to be produced according to a normal mode.
Referring to fig. 1 and fig. 2 in combination, fig. 2 shows a structure of a display device 11 according to an embodiment of the invention. As shown in fig. 2, the display device 11 includes a backlight assembly (not shown), a Timing Controller (TCON)110 including a plurality of registers 111, each register 111 storing a different RGB gain value; an LED driver 130; a Micro Controller Unit (MCU)120 connected to the timing controller 110 and the LED driver 130, for setting a current output to the LED string according to a feedback signal output from the timing controller 110; the timing controller 110 is connected to the adapting device 10, and is configured to call and lock corresponding RGB gain values for color compensation and correction according to control signals generated by the adapting device 10 by recognizing LED color temperature block classification information of the backlight assembly, and output feedback signals to the microcontroller 120 for current setting.
The timing controller 110 is connected to the adapting device 10, and is configured to tune and lock corresponding RGB gain values for color compensation correction according to control signals generated by the adapting device 10 by recognizing LED color temperature block classification information of the backlight assembly, as shown in fig. 2, after tuning and locking the corresponding RGB gain values, the timing controller 110 provides the corresponding RGB gain values to the data processing unit for color temperature correction, so as to make the color specifications of the liquid crystal display device consistent. However, when the RGB gain values are adjusted to solve the chromaticity specification consistency, the brightness specification difference of the display device is larger, and therefore, in the embodiment, the current output to the LED string is further adjusted by outputting the corresponding feedback signal through the timing controller 110, so as to adjust the brightness consistency.
In one embodiment, the backlight assembly is provided with an identification code, wherein the content of the identification code corresponds to the classification information of the corresponding LED color temperature blocks.
In one embodiment, the identification code provided on the backlight assembly is a bar code and/or a two-dimensional code.
Specifically, the classification information of the LED color temperature blocks is recorded in the bar code and/or the two-dimensional code, and after the backlight assembly passes through the assembling station, the classification information corresponds to Run card information, and then the adapting device 10 scans the Run card to identify the LED color temperature blocks and outputs corresponding digital signals to the timing controller.

Specifically, when receiving the control signal sent by the adapting device 10, the timing controller 110 outputs a feedback signal to the microcontroller 120 when adjusting and locking the corresponding RGB gain values in the register 110, changes the setting of an IDAC (current digital-to-analog converter) in the microcontroller 120, and changes the maximum current output to the LED light string, that is, at this time, an analog reference voltage is generated by the digital-to-analog converter, and the reference voltage changes the maximum current output to the LED light string by the LED driver, thereby adjusting the brightness consistency.
In one embodiment, the feedback signal output by the timing controller 110 is a pwm signal, and the microcontroller 120 adjusts the duty ratio of the pwm signal output to the LED driver 130 according to the feedback signal to change the current output to the LED string in the backlight assembly.
Specifically, when receiving the control signal sent by the adapting device 10, the timing controller 110 simultaneously outputs a pulse width modulation signal to the microcontroller 120 when retrieving and locking the corresponding RGB gain values in the register 111, the microcontroller 120 performs the encoding, and then the microcontroller 120 communicates with the LED driver 130, and changes the current output by the LED driver 130 to the LED string by changing the duty ratio of the pulse width modulation signal output to the LED driver 130, so as to implement the current compensation and further adjust the brightness consistency. Therefore, different RGB gain values exist corresponding to different color temperature blocks, and corresponding current setting exists at the same time, so that the consistency of the display effect of the modules of different color temperature blocks can be met.
In one embodiment, the display device 11 further comprises a connector for connecting the timing controller 110 and the adapting device 10.
Specifically, the adapter 10 feeds back a corresponding digital signal to the timing controller 110 for identification through a pin provided in the connector. For example, when the adapter 10 generates digital signals (T1, T2, T3) and transmits the signals to the timing controller 110 through the connector, after the timing controller 110 receives the signals, if T1, T2 and T3 are respectively 0, 0 and 1, the timing controller 110 calls and locks the first RGB gain value, and synchronously outputs three signals F1, F2 and F3 to control the setting of the LED string current.
In one embodiment, the LED driver is voltage driven.
To sum up, in the display device 11 provided in the embodiment of the present invention, the timing controller 110 calls and locks the corresponding RGB gain values to perform color compensation and correction on the liquid crystal display panel according to the control signal corresponding to the LED color temperature block classification information of the backlight component sent by the adapting device 10, and simultaneously outputs the feedback signal to the microcontroller 120 to set the current output to the LED light string, so as to implement the one-to-one correspondence between the LED color temperature blocks and the RGB gain values, achieve the requirement of color specification consistency, and optimize the brightness specification consistency of the product, and the backlight component and the timing controller 110 (i.e., the timing controller board) can be produced according to the normal mode through the present invention.

step S10: the recognition module 101 acquires LED color temperature block classification information of the backlight assembly.
Step S11: the control module 102 outputs a corresponding control signal to the timing controller 110 according to the LED color temperature block classification information.
Specifically, after the identification module 101 in the adapting device 10 obtains the LED color temperature block classification information of the backlight assembly, the control module 102 in the adapting device 10 outputs a corresponding control signal to the timing controller 110 in the display device 11 according to the LED color temperature block classification information. Then, the timing controller 110 calls and locks the RGB gain values stored in the corresponding registers 111 according to the control signal, wherein adjusting the RGB gain values refers to adjusting the gain values of the RGB components by ACC color adjustment technology to perform chromaticity consistency adjustment, and in addition, while performing the chromaticity consistency adjustment, the timing controller 110 also outputs a feedback signal to the microcontroller 120 connected to the LED driver 130 to adjust the current output to the LED string to perform brightness consistency adjustment.
To sum up, in the adaptation method provided in the embodiment of the present invention, the identification module 101 obtains the LED color temperature block classification information of the backlight assembly and sends the LED color temperature block classification information to the control module 102, and the control module 102 outputs the corresponding control signal to the timing controller 110 according to the LED color temperature block classification information. Then, the timing controller 110 calls and locks the corresponding RGB gain values to the liquid crystal display panel for color compensation and correction according to the control signal corresponding to the LED color temperature block classification information of the backlight assembly sent by the adapting device 10, and simultaneously outputs a feedback signal to the microcontroller 120 to set the current output to the LED light string, so as to realize the one-to-one correspondence between the LED color temperature blocks and the RGB gain values, meet the requirement of color specification consistency, and simultaneously optimize the brightness specification consistency of the product, and the backlight assembly and the timing controller 110 (i.e., the timing controller board) can be produced according to a normal mode through the invention.
