The present invention relates to a developing cartridge detachably mountable to an image forming apparatus provided with a detected member, including a housing, a power receiving member for receiving a driving force from an outside and a detecting member for engaging with an external detected member so that the developing cartridge is detectable by the image forming apparatus, the developing cartridge further including a transmission lever rotatably mounted in the housing, the transmission lever being driven by the driving force received by the power receiving member; the detecting member is coaxially arranged with the transmission rod, and when the power receiving member receives external driving force, the detecting member can be driven by the transmission rod, so that the detecting end where the detecting member is located does not need to be provided with a power transmission part, the design reduces the number of gears required by the developing box, simplifies the structure of the developing box, and finally reduces the cost of the developing box.

The present invention relates to the field of electrophotographic image forming, and more particularly, to a developing cartridge detachably mountable in an electrophotographic image forming apparatus.
Background
The developing cartridge is generally detachably mounted to the image forming apparatus, and at present, there are two types of mounting methods, one is to mount the developing cartridge directly to the image forming apparatus main body, and the other is to mount the developing cartridge to a drum unit first and then to the image forming apparatus main body along with the drum unit, and no matter how the developing cartridge is mounted, in order to allow the developing cartridge to be accurately recognized by the image forming apparatus, the existing developing cartridge is provided with a detecting member for coupling with a preset member in the image forming apparatus and a power receiving member for receiving a driving force from a power output member provided in the image forming apparatus.
The detecting piece is driven by the driving force received by the power receiving piece, when the detecting piece and the power receiving piece are arranged on the same side, the driving force can be transmitted between the detecting piece and the power receiving piece through the gear, when the detecting piece and the power receiving piece are arranged on different sides, in the existing developing box, the driving force is transmitted to one side provided with the detecting piece through the stirring shaft arranged in the developing box, and then the driving force is transmitted to the detecting piece through the gear. It is apparent that, in order for the detecting member to be driven, for a structure in which the detecting member and the power receiving member are located on different sides of the developing cartridge, it is necessary to mount a set of gears on both sides of the developing cartridge, respectively, and the mounting of these gears increases not only the material cost of the developing cartridge but also the assembly cost of the developing cartridge.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention provides a developing box, which achieves the purposes of simplifying the structure of the developing box and reducing the cost by redesigning a path of a power receiving part for transmitting a driving force to a detecting part, and particularly adopts the following technical scheme:
a developing cartridge detachably mounted in an image forming apparatus provided with a detected member, including a housing, a power receiving member for receiving a driving force from an outside and a detecting member for being combined with the external detected member so that the developing cartridge can be detected by the image forming apparatus, respectively, and a transmission lever rotatably mounted in the housing, the transmission lever being driven by the driving force received by the power receiving member; the detecting member is disposed coaxially with the transmission lever, and is driven by the transmission lever when the power receiving member receives the external driving force.
The developing cartridge further includes an agitating member rotatably mounted in the casing, and the transmission lever rotation axis is located above the agitating member rotation axis in an up-down direction of the developing cartridge.
The developing cartridge further includes a third gear and a fourth gear disposed on the same side as the power receiving member and engaged with each other, wherein the third gear receives the driving force of the power receiving member, and the fourth gear and the detecting member are respectively located at both longitudinal ends of the transfer lever, and preferably, the fourth gear is a gear with missing teeth.
The casing includes a lower casing and an upper casing combined in an up-down direction, which form a cavity for accommodating toner, and a transfer lever arranged to extend in the upper casing in a left-right direction of the developing cartridge, preferably, to pass through the upper casing in the left-right direction.
The transmission rod is cylindrical as a whole and has a smooth outer surface.
The developing cartridge further includes a developing member and a powder feeding member rotatably mounted in the casing, and a power receiving member disposed on the same side as the detecting member, the power receiving member supplying power received from the image forming apparatus to the developing member and the powder feeding member simultaneously.
As described above, the detecting member is disposed coaxially with the transmission lever, and the detecting member can be driven by the transmission lever when the power receiving member receives the external driving force, so that the detecting end where the detecting member is located does not need to be mounted with a power transmission member, the design reduces the number of gears required for the developing cartridge, simplifies the structure of the developing cartridge, and finally, the cost of the developing cartridge can be reduced.

Detailed Description
An embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings, and for clarity of description, the developing cartridge is first defined as follows: the developing cartridge has a length direction of a left-right direction (longitudinal direction), a width direction of a front-back direction (lateral direction), and a thickness direction of a vertical direction (vertical direction).

The developing cartridge 1 includes a casing 2, a plurality of rotary members rotatably mounted in the casing 2, a power receiving member 11 and a detecting member 6 respectively located at both ends of the casing 2 in a longitudinal direction thereof, and a left end cap 3 and a right end cap 4, wherein the power receiving member 11 and the detecting member 6 are exposed through the left and right covers 3 and 4, respectively, the power receiving member 11 is for receiving a driving force from the outside (image forming apparatus), the detecting member 6 is for being combined with a detected member preset in the outside (image forming apparatus) so that the developing cartridge 1 is detected by the image forming apparatus, thus, the side where the power receiving member 11 is located may be referred to as a driving end, the side where the detecting member 6 is located may be referred to as a detecting end, the housing 2 has a left side wall 2a at the driving end, the power receiving member 11 protrudes leftward with respect to the left side wall 2a and the detecting member 6 protrudes rightward with respect to the right side wall 2b in the left-right direction, at the detecting end, with the right side wall 2 b.
The shell 2 comprises a lower shell 21 and an upper shell 22 which are combined in the up-down direction, the lower shell 21 and the upper shell 22 enclose to form a cavity for containing carbon powder, and the carbon powder is supplied to the outside of the developing box under the combined action of a plurality of rotating pieces; the plurality of rotating members include a developing member 51 for conveying the toner to the outside, a toner feeding member 52 for conveying the toner to the developing member, and an agitating member 53 for agitating the toner, the developing member 51, the toner feeding member 52, and the agitating member 53 all rotating by receiving the driving force of the power receiving member 11; as shown in the drawing, the developing cartridge 1 further includes a transmission lever 54 rotatably mounted in the casing 2 for transmitting the driving force of the power receiving member 11 to the detecting member 6, and in the embodiment of the present invention, the detecting member 6 is coaxial with the transmission lever 54.
Further, the developing cartridge 1 further includes a gear train 7 disposed on the same side as the power receiving member 11, the gear train 7 being for transmitting the driving force to the transmission lever 54, and at the detection end, the detection member 6 is directly mounted on the transmission lever 54, and when the transmission lever 54 is driven, the detection member 6 is also driven to rotate about the rotation axis L2; the gear set 7 includes a first gear 71 coupled to the power receiving part 11, an intermediate gear 72, a third gear 73 coupled to the stirring member 53, and a fourth gear 74 coupled to the transfer lever 54, that is, the fourth gear 74 and the sensing member 6 are respectively located at both longitudinal ends of the transfer lever 54; wherein the intermediate gear 72 is meshed with the first gear 71 and the third gear 73, respectively, and at the same time, the third gear 73 is also meshed with the fourth gear 74, so that the driving force received by the power receiving member 11 is transmitted to the transmission lever 54 via the first gear 71, the intermediate gear 72, the third gear 73 and the fourth gear 74 in order, and the third gear 73 also drives the stirring member 53 to rotate about the rotation axis L1.
Preferably, the transmission rod 54 is disposed to extend in the upper housing 22 in the left-right direction, and more preferably, the transmission rod 54 passes through the upper housing 22 in the left-right direction, so that the mounting and dismounting of the fourth gear 74 and the detection member 6 are facilitated.
The rotation axis L2 is located above the rotation axis L1 in the up-down direction, so that the advantage of the design is that when the carbon powder contained in the housing 2 is large, the transmission rod 54 located above the stirring piece 53 does not cause too much obstruction to the flow of the carbon powder, and when the stirring blade 531 mounted on the stirring piece 53 rotates above the cavity along with the stirring piece 53, the stirring blade 531 interferes with the transmission rod 54, the carbon powder adhered on the stirring blade 531 is shaken off, and the carbon powder can be prevented from agglomerating at the stirring blade 531; the rotation axis L2 is located slightly behind the rotation axis L1 in the front-back direction, so that the influence of the transmission rod 54 on the fluidity of the toner can be further reduced, and the toner supply is smooth; as shown in fig. 3A and 3B, the transfer rod 54 has an overall cylindrical shape and a smooth outer surface, and thus, the influence of the transfer rod 54 on the flowability of the toner can be further reduced.
When the developing cartridge 1 is mounted to the image forming apparatus, the detecting member 6 is driven to rotate, so that the detecting of the developing cartridge 1 by the image forming apparatus is realized, and after the detection of the image forming apparatus is completed, the detecting member 6 does not need to continue to rotate, and for this reason, the fourth gear 74 mounted at the other end of the transmission lever 54 is provided as a tooth-lacking gear, and as shown in the figure, a part of the circumferential surface of the fourth gear 74 (the tooth-lacking portion) is smooth, that is, no tooth is provided at this part, and when the tooth-lacking portion of the fourth gear 74 is opposed to the third gear 73, the fourth gear 74 is not driven by the third gear 73 to stop rotating, and further, the transmission lever 54 and the detecting member 6 also stop rotating.
In fact, the developing cartridge 1 is operated in such a manner that not only the driving force but also the electric power needs to be received from the image forming apparatus, and the present invention relates to the developing cartridge 1 in which the electric power receiving member 8 for receiving the electric power is provided at the detecting end and the electric power receiving member 8 supplies the electric power received from the image forming apparatus to the developing member 51 and the powder feeding member 52 at the same time, which also contributes to the simplification of the structure of the developing cartridge 1, that is, the electric power receiving members do not need to be provided for the developing member 51 and the powder feeding member 52, respectively, and only one electric power receiving member 8 needs to be provided.
In another embodiment of the present invention, in terms of the stability of the force transmitted between the transmission rod 54 and the detection element 6 or the operation of the detection element 6, it is necessary to ensure that the detection element 6 and the transmission rod 54 are coaxial with each other in the embodiments where a member such as a delay device or a buffer device is provided between the detection element 6 and the transmission rod 54.
As described above, the detecting member 6 is provided coaxially with the transmission lever 54, and preferably, the detecting member 6 is directly mounted on one end of the transmission lever 54, and the detecting member 6 can be directly driven by the transmission lever 54 when the power receiving member 11 receives the external driving force, so that the detecting end where the detecting member 6 is located does not need to be mounted with power transmission members such as gears, belts, etc., but only needs to be mounted with the gear group 7 at the driving end, which design reduces the number of gears required for the developing cartridge 1, simplifies the structure of the developing cartridge 1, and finally, the cost of the developing cartridge 1 can be reduced.
