Abstract
The invention relates to improvement of a fire hydrant structure, in particular to a fire hydrant emergency valve and a using method, which are applied to emergency use of fire hydrant in fault and water leakage. The method comprises the following steps: the water supply and drainage port is formed in the bottom of the bolt body, the water outlet is formed in the upper end of the bolt body and located on two sides of the bolt body, a push-pull rod is arranged in the center of an inner cavity of the bolt body, and a rotating hand wheel is arranged at the top end of the push-pull rod; a thread structure is arranged on the inner wall of the water outlet and close to the outer edge of the water outlet, and a safety valve is connected in a matched manner through the thread structure; the safety valve is characterized in that a valve clack is arranged inside the central valve body of the safety valve, water outlets are respectively arranged at two ends of the valve body, and an external thread structure matched with a thread structure on the inner wall of the fire hydrant is arranged on the outer surface of the water outlet at one end of the safety valve; the structure is simple, and the operation is convenient; the fire hydrant leakage point on site is processed timely, the water leakage amount is reduced, the operation of the fire-fighting water pipe network is not influenced, and the stability of the fire-fighting water pipe network is ensured.
