When the third ball head 31 is located at the first position, the third elastic member 33 elastically abuts against the second recess 24 and the working member 3 cannot swing relative to the connecting assembly with the third ball head 31 as an axis; when an external force is applied to move the third ball head 31 toward the second position, the third elastic member 33 is disengaged from the second recess 24, the third ball head 31 is elastically pressed by the elastic member 41 to move to the second position, the workpiece 3 swings relative to the connecting member 2 with the third ball head 31 as a shaft, and the second elastic member 41 can prevent the second ball head 21 and the third ball head 31 from moving to the first position at will, so that the multi-angle rotation function cannot be achieved. Therefore, by moving the second ball head 21 and the third ball head 31 to the second position, the multi-joint universal tool can be extended and rotated at multiple angles to lock in a narrow and long working environment. It is noted that in other embodiments of the invention, more than two mating connectors 2 may be included, and the bending length of the invention may be increased to provide for extension into lower working environments of different bending lengths.
Specifically, the first concave portion 13 is a first annular groove 131 annularly disposed on the inner wall of the first accommodating groove 12, the second concave portion 24 is a second annular groove 241 annularly disposed on the inner wall of the second accommodating groove 22, and in other embodiments, the first concave portion 13 and the second concave portion 24 may also be through holes, and may also accommodate the second abutting member 23 and the third abutting member 33.
Further, a plurality of axially extending locking protrusions 51 are respectively disposed on the inner walls of the first accommodating groove 12 and the second accommodating groove 22, a plurality of arc surface sections 52 are respectively disposed on the second ball head 21 and the third ball head 31, the arc surface sections 52 of the second ball head 21 respectively abut against the locking protrusions 51 of the first accommodating groove 12, and the arc surface sections 52 of the third ball head 31 respectively abut against the locking protrusions 51 of the second accommodating groove 22. The working member 3 is further integrally provided with a radial flange 34, the radial flange 34 is located between the working portion 32 and the third ball head 31, when the working member 3 is located at the first position, the radial flange 34 abuts against the inner wall of the second accommodating groove 22 to prevent the working member 3 from swinging relative to the connecting member 2, and when the working member 3 is located at the second position, the radial flange 34 does not abut against the inner wall of the second accommodating groove 22.
