Detailed Description
In the present embodiment, a print quantity control method of a printing apparatus is provided. Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a print quantity control method of a printing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention. The printing quantity control method of the printing apparatus in this embodiment may be executed by the server, may also be executed by the data acquisition device, and may also be executed by a printing apparatus control device provided inside the printing apparatus. In the following embodiments, a server implementation will be described as an example.
As shown in fig. 1, the process includes the following steps:
in step S101, the server acquires print number information of the printing apparatus.
The server can directly acquire the printing quantity information of the printing equipment which is in communication connection with the server, and the printing quantity information can also be transmitted to the server after the printing quantity information of the printing equipment is acquired by the data acquisition device. Collecting the print quantity information of the printing apparatus may be implemented using a Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).
And step S102, the server judges whether the printing quantity of the printing equipment exceeds a preset value according to the printing quantity information.
In this embodiment, a preset value is stored in the server in advance, and after the print quantity information is acquired, the print quantity is monitored by comparing whether the print quantity information exceeds the preset value.
And step S103, sending a locking instruction message to a printing device control device of the printing device to stop the printing device when the printing quantity of the printing device is judged to exceed the preset value.
In this embodiment, when the number of prints of the printing apparatus exceeds a preset value, the printing apparatus is controlled to stop operating. In this way, control of the number of prints of the printing apparatus is achieved. For example, in a situation of fine management of paper of the printing equipment by an enterprise, the enterprise sets a preset value as the total amount of paper added into the paper box, so that the printing equipment is protected by stopping the operation of the printing equipment after the paper in the paper box of the printing equipment is printed, and abnormal reduction of the service life of the printing equipment caused by adding paper which does not meet the quality requirement into the paper box by other users is avoided. For example, in a scenario of rental of a printing apparatus, a renter of the printing apparatus protects the printing apparatus by setting a preset value to the total amount of paper sold to a renter of the printing apparatus, thereby stopping the work of the printing apparatus after the print amount reaches the preset value, preventing the renter from using paper that is not authorized by the renter. Therefore, by adopting the steps, the printing quantity of the printing equipment can be effectively controlled, and the paper quality or source management of the printing equipment can be realized to some extent.
In one embodiment, after sending the locking instruction message to the printing device control device of the printing device, the printing device control device receives the locking instruction message and then triggers the printing device to generate a printing device fault of a preset fault type, so that the printing device stops working.
In one embodiment, the printing device controlling means triggering the printing device to generate the printing device failure of the preset failure type includes: the printing apparatus control device interrupts a preset device from the printing apparatus to stop the printing apparatus, wherein the preset device, when being interrupted, is capable of causing the printing apparatus to generate a printing apparatus failure of a preset failure type.
The preset device of the embodiment includes a sensor or a core device of the printing apparatus, where the sensor includes but is not limited to at least one of the following of the printing apparatus: paper monitors, ink cartridge opening detectors, detectors of core accessories (e.g., heater assemblies, core boards, etc.), etc., including heater assemblies, core boards, etc., of printing devices. The printing apparatus control device is preferably connected to a signal line or a power supply line of the preset device using an electrically controlled switch to achieve connection or disconnection of the preset device to the printing apparatus. The predetermined fault type includes, but is not limited to, at least one of: the failure of insufficient consumable materials of the printing equipment, the failure of consumable material loss, the failure of paper jam of the printing equipment, the failure of insufficient paper of the printing equipment and the like. Taking the fault that the consumable material of the printing equipment is insufficient as an example, the printing equipment detects the residual ink amount through a sensor, sends a corresponding fault signal to a control chip of the printing equipment in order to protect a printing head when the ink amount is low, and after receiving the fault signal, the control chip controls the printing equipment to stop working until the ink box is replaced or the ink is added, the fault is eliminated, and the control chip controls the printing equipment to work again; after the printing equipment control device is disconnected from the sensor and the printing equipment, the sensor cannot send ink quantity signals to the control chip any more, and the control chip controls the printing equipment to stop working in order to protect the printing head, so that the locking control of the printing equipment is realized.
