Detailed Description
The embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings attached to the specification. It should be noted that the embodiments mentioned in the present description are not exhaustive and do not represent the only embodiments of the present invention. The following examples are given for the purpose of clearly illustrating the inventive contents of the present patent application and are not intended to limit the embodiments thereof. It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications can be made in the embodiments described above, and it is intended to cover all modifications and variations of the present invention which fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.
Figure 1 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a heating device of the present invention for facilitating the extraction of a heat-not-burn cigarette. The heating device 1 may be an electrically heated smoking system. The heating device 1 is configured to receive a heated non-burning cigarette (not shown) comprising a tobacco portion. Here, "tobacco portion" refers to a substrate that releases volatile compounds that can form an aerosol. These volatile compounds can be released by heating the tobacco section. The tobacco portion may be part of a heat not burn cigarette or smoking article. Preferred smoking articles of the present invention are heated smoking articles comprising a tobacco portion which is heated rather than combusted thereby releasing volatile compounds which can form an aerosol. By heating the tobacco section, less harmful components may be produced than by burning or thermally degrading the tobacco section. The smoking article may here be or may comprise a tobacco rod.
The heating device 1 comprises a heater 2, and the heater 2 is used for heating the cigarette which is not combusted to form aerosol. The heater 2 includes a base 21 and a heating pin 22 extending from the base 21, as shown in fig. 5 (a). Alternatively, the heating pins may be replaced with a form of a heating sheet (heating blade) as shown in fig. 5 (b).
The heating device 1 further comprises a cigarette accommodating part 3, and the cigarette accommodating part 3 is used for accommodating a cigarette which is not combusted by heating and is convenient for taking the cigarette. The structure of the cigarette accommodating part will be described in detail below.
Fig. 2(a) to 2(c) are schematic partial cross-sectional views of the cigarette housing according to the embodiments of the present invention. As shown in fig. 2(a), the cigarette accommodating portion 3 includes a receiver 31 and an outer shell 32. A receiver 31 for receiving the heated non-combusted cigarette 4, the receiver 31 having a holding portion (holding surface) 31a for holding the heated non-combusted cigarette when the heated non-combusted cigarette is in the heating position. The support portion 31a has a hole 31b for the penetration of the heating needle or blade 22 of the heater 2 into the tobacco portion of the heated non-burning cigarette 4 received in the receptacle 31. The shape and size of the aperture 31b matches the shape and size of the heating needle (heating blade) 22 of the heater 2 so that the heating needle passes through the aperture 31b into the interior portion of the tobacco portion in the first receptacle. Preferably, the size of the hole 31b is slightly larger than the size of the heating needle, so that scraps, residues and the like of the tobacco part are not easily accumulated in the heating device 1 through the hole 31b during the process of extracting and heating the non-burning cigarette.
In addition, the side wall of the receptacle 31 has at least one air-permeable groove 31 c. In an embodiment of the invention, preferably 4 ventilation slots are equally distributed on the side wall. The receptacle 31 also has a recess 31d in the support surface 31a, which communicates with the ventilation grooves 31c in the side walls. That is, the seating surface 31a is configured with a stepped surface including a lower surface (the recess 31d) and a surface higher than the recess 31d, as shown in fig. 6. Thus, when the heated non-burning cigarette 4 is supported by the support surface 31a and heated by the heater, a space is left at the bottom of the cigarette so that the air flow enters the bottom of the cigarette through the ventilation grooves, thereby forming an unobstructed air flow path during the smoking of the user.
The receiver 31 is detachably connectable to the heating device 1. Preferably, the supporting surface 31a of the receiver 31 has a protrusion 31e extending toward the heater 2 at its periphery, and the protrusion is snap-fitted or magnetically attached to the heater 2. The snap connection is shown in fig. 1 by mating a stud on the protrusion with a recess on the heater.
The housing tube 32 is adapted to receive the receptacle 31 and to clamp the heated non-combustible cigarette appropriately by the inner wall of the housing tube. The housing cylinder 32 has a housing portion 32a and an inner wall portion 32b, the housing portion 32a and the inner wall portion 32b are fixedly connected at a tip end, and the other end of the inner wall portion 32 is a free end. The outer shell portion 32a and the inner wall portion 32b have a gap therebetween, and can form an air flow passage. The housing cylinder 32 has an airflow inlet 32c at or near the top end thereof. FIG. 7 is a top view of the top end of the cigarette holder of one embodiment of the invention, showing that the top end forms a circle of air flow inlets 32 c. Air can thus enter between the outer shell portion 32a and the inner wall portion 32b and thence from the ventilation slots in the side wall of the receptacle into the bottom of the cigarette and through the interior of the cigarette (tobacco portion) carrying the aerosol in the air stream towards the downstream end into the mouth of the user. In this way, the air flow may be directed to the vicinity of the heater 2 to further facilitate aerosol generation.
In addition, the inner wall portion 32b of the outer housing tube 32 is preferably formed in a sheet shape so that a clamping force is generated to the cigarette by an elastic restoring force of the inner wall portion 32b itself after the cigarette is inserted without being burned, thereby stably receiving the cigarette without being burned. Moreover, when the exhausted cigarette is required to be replaced and extracted without burning, the outer wrapping material of the cigarette can be tightly attached to the inner core, so that the cigarette can be more reliably withdrawn from the heating device 1, the risk of dropping the inner core such as tobacco scraps of a tobacco part is reduced, and the withdrawal efficiency is improved.
FIG. 3(a) is a schematic view of the airflow path of a heating device of one embodiment of the present invention; fig. 3(b) is a schematic view of an air flow path of a heating apparatus according to another embodiment of the present invention. Wherein, fig. 3(a) is that the air enters the air flow channel from the top end of the shell barrel, and fig. 3(b) is that the air enters the air flow channel from a circle of air flow inlets at the side surface near the top end. As shown, during a user's puff, air enters the interior space of the outer shell 32 from the airflow inlet and passes through the ventilation slots in the side wall of the receptacle into the bottom of the heated non-combustible cigarette, into the interior of the cigarette and into the mouth of the smoker. By providing the airflow path as described above, the flow rate of the air can be further managed, an appropriate air flow rate is obtained, and the suction experience of the user is further improved. In addition, the air flow can also generate a certain cooling effect on the cigarette which is not combusted by heating, so that the air flow entering the mouth of the user is reduced in burning heat, and the user can obtain better smoking experience.
Further, a modification of the heating apparatus of the present invention will be described with reference to fig. 2(b) and 2 (c). As shown in fig. 2(b), the inner wall portion 32b further has a first protrusion 32d facing the cigarette which is not burned by heating, as compared with the embodiment of fig. 2 (a). As shown in fig. 2(c), the inner wall portion 32b further has a second protrusion 32e facing away from the cigarette that is not burned by heating, as compared with the embodiment of fig. 2 (a). In the case where the second projection 32e is provided, the inner diameter of the inner wall portion 32b is preferably configured to be large in the upper part and small in the lower part, that is, the inner diameter of the inner wall portion 32b is gradually reduced from the top to the bottom, so that the inner diameter of the inner wall portion near the heater (free end) is slightly smaller than the inner diameter far from the heater. Through the arrangement of the two modifications, the inner wall portion 32b of the outer shell 32 can clamp the cigarette which is not burnt and is heated more appropriately, namely, the transverse pressure of the inner wall portion 32b on the cigarette which is not burnt and is heated is large enough, so that when the cigarette which is not burnt and is heated 4 is rotated to exit the heating device 1, the outer wrapping material of the cigarette can be tightly attached to the inner core, the cigarette can exit the heating device 1 more reliably, the risk of dropping the inner core such as tobacco scraps of the tobacco portion is reduced, and the exiting efficiency is further improved.
In addition, the housing cylinder 32 is detachably connected to the heating device 1, for example, a snap connection, a magnetic connection, a screw connection, or other known detachable connection.
The process of extracting the heated non-burning cigarette by the structure of the present invention will be described in detail.
The cigarette which is not burned is inserted into a heating device for heating so as to generate aerosol for a user to suck. When the tobacco portion of a non-burning cigarette is exhausted by heating, the cigarette needs to be removed from the heater to replace the cigarette. First, the user extracts the cigarette that is not burned by heating from the outer casing of the heating device by manually rotating the cigarette itself, and leaves the cigarette from the heating position until the cigarette is completely separated from the outer casing, as shown in fig. 4, which is a schematic exiting view of the cigarette that is not burned by heating. Then, if a part of the tobacco scraps drops in the receptacle due to the withdrawal of the heating pin of the heater from the tobacco portion of the cigarette during the extraction of the cigarette, or the tobacco scraps accumulate in the receptacle after a plurality of extractions, the housing tube can be detached from the heating device (e.g., rotated out of the housing tube or pulled out of the housing tube), and the receptacle can be detached from the heating device, so that the tobacco scraps dropping in the heating device can be easily cleaned, the receptacle can be conveniently cleaned, and the base and the heating pin of the heater can be conveniently and directly cleaned. It is worth mentioning that if the heater of the present invention employs the heating sheet, the user can directly extract and heat the non-burning cigarette longitudinally instead of rotationally.
In conclusion, by the structure of the invention, the cigarette which is not burnt can be conveniently, stably and reliably extracted from the heating device, so that the exhausted cigarette which is not burnt can be conveniently replaced, and a user can obtain better use experience. In addition, by the structure of the invention, the components in the heating device, including the receiver, the heater and the like, can be conveniently cleaned.
It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that the above embodiments are merely illustrative of the present invention and are not to be construed as limiting the present invention, and that changes and modifications to the above described embodiments may be made within the spirit and scope of the present invention as defined in the appended claims.
