Detailed Description
The core of the application is to provide a current-mode analog output module and a control method thereof so as to improve the fault tolerance of a product and further effectively improve the safety and the usability of the product.
In order to more clearly and completely describe the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application. It is to be understood that the embodiments described are only a few embodiments of the present application and not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present application.
The current type output module is a module capable of outputting current with corresponding magnitude according to a set value, and has important application in a safety instrument system. Currently, current mode output modules in the prior art are generally not safe enough, and have no corresponding solution or backup solution after the current output channel fails, so that the product cannot be used continuously in the field. In view of this, the present application provides a current-mode analog output module and a control method thereof, which can effectively solve the above-mentioned problems.
Referring to fig. 1, an embodiment of the present application discloses a control method for a current-mode analog output module, where the current-mode analog output module includes a plurality of output channels whose output ends are connected in parallel and a current detection circuit, and the current detection circuit is coupled to a combiner where the plurality of output channels are connected in parallel and is used to detect an output current in the combiner; the output control method comprises the following steps:
s101: and acquiring a current detection value sent by the current detection circuit.
S102: judging whether a fault exists according to the current detection value and the target current output value of the main output channel; if yes, the process proceeds to S103.
The main output channel is the only output channel currently in the working state.
S103: and updating the main output channel to a standby output channel and closing the standby output channel, selecting one of the other output channels to update the standby output channel and starting the operation.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present application, output channel redundancy design is specifically performed on the current mode analog output module, that is, the control method of the current mode analog output module disclosed in the present application is applicable to a current mode analog output module having a plurality of output channels.
Each output channel can output current according to a set value, namely a target current output value, and the current output work of each output channel is independent. The output channels are in substitution relation with each other, the output ends of the output channels are connected in parallel with each other, at most only one output channel is in a working state at the same time, and the output channel in the working state is the main output channel.
After the current type analog quantity output module of the multi-output channel receives the current output instruction, the main output channel starts to work, the other output channels, namely the standby output channels, are continuously in the closed standby state, and the output current of the main output channel is the output current on the combiner. However, the set target current output values of the output channels, including the main output channel and the standby output channel, are the same and all depend on the current output instruction.
In order to realize fault tolerance, the current-mode analog quantity output module of the multiple output channels is also provided with a current detection circuit so as to detect faults by detecting the output current in the combination. It should be noted that, in the present application, the current detection circuit has a function of communicating with each output channel, and the diagnosis unit in the current detection circuit can send the current detection value to the control unit in each output channel, so that the control unit in each output channel can invoke the control method disclosed in the present application, thereby implementing fault tolerance of the current-mode analog output module.
Specifically, after a current detection value sent by the current detection circuit is obtained, the current detection value can be compared with a target current output value of the current main output channel. Ideally, in the case of no fault, the current detection value should coincide with the target current output value, and thus can be used as a basis for fault detection.
Preferably, in order to improve the accuracy of the fault detection processing, except for the current main output channel, each of the other output channels may determine the circuit output state of the main output channel. The current detection circuit can specifically send the current detection value to the control unit of each output channel, and each output channel can judge whether the current detection value is consistent with the target current output value of the main output channel. When the output channels exceeding the preset number or the preset proportion (such as half) all judge that the faults exist, the system can be determined to be in fault. Of course, the control units of the respective output channels may share the judgment results of each other through communication with each other.
When a fault is found, the original main output channel can be replaced by the multi-path output channel with the redundancy design to output current. The process of changing a selected standby output channel into a main output channel can be called a 'main rising' process, and the process of changing the original main output channel into the standby output channel can be called a 'standby falling' process.
It is easy to understand that, after the system is confirmed to have a fault, the fault information can be further reported to the administrator in time, so that the administrator can perform the processing such as fault recovery in time.
The control method of the current-mode analog quantity output module provided by the embodiment of the application is suitable for the current-mode analog quantity output module which comprises a plurality of output channels with output ends connected in parallel and a current detection circuit, wherein the current detection circuit is coupled to a combiner with the output channels connected in parallel and is used for detecting the output current in the combiner; the control method comprises the following steps: acquiring a current detection value sent by a current detection circuit; judging whether a fault exists according to the current detection value and a target current output value of a main output channel, wherein the main output channel is the only output channel in the working state at present; if the fault exists, the main output channel is updated to the standby output channel and is closed, and one of the other output channels is updated to the main output channel and starts working. Therefore, the fault problem of the system can be detected in time, and after the fault occurs, other standby output channels can be selected to replace the currently working main output channel to continue current output, so that fault tolerance is effectively realized, and the safety and the usability of the product are effectively improved.
Based on the above, as a specific embodiment, in the control method of the current-mode analog output module provided in the embodiment of the present application, when one of the other output channels is updated to be the main output channel and starts to operate, the updated main output channel may be determined specifically according to the sequence corresponding to the preset delay time of the remaining output channels.
Specifically, a preset delay time period may be set in advance for each output channel. After the system is found to have faults, each output channel starts to compete for application and upgrade after the preset delay time duration. The preset delay time corresponding to the output channel with the priority ascending (i.e. the ascending main sequence is higher) is shorter, and the preset delay time corresponding to the output channel with the lower ascending main sequence (i.e. the ascending main sequence is lower) is longer. Because there is only one main output channel, the output channel which is obtained first and initiates the request of raising the main competition will become the new main output channel, and the requests of raising the main competition of the other output channels are invalid. It is readily understood that the drop-off output channel will no longer issue a rising master race application.
On the basis of the above, as a specific embodiment, the control method of the current-mode analog output module provided in the embodiment of the present application may further perform a fault diagnosis operation after switching the main output channel. Specifically, after selecting one of the other output channels to be updated to the active output channel and starting the operation, the fault source can be diagnosed through the following steps:
updating and acquiring a current detection value sent by a current detection circuit and judging whether a fault exists again;
if the fault does not exist, judging that the original main output channel has the fault;
if the fault exists again, judging whether the updated current detection value is zero or not; if the current is zero, judging that the disconnection fault exists in the combined circuit; if not, judging that the current detection circuit has a diagnosis fault.
Specifically, after the primary output channel is replaced, if the system fault is removed, it is determined that the fault reason is indeed the original primary output channel; and if the system fault still exists, the fault is not originated from the original output channel but from the public line in the module.
The public line comprises a combination circuit and a current detection circuit. If the combiner has a fault (usually, a disconnection fault), the detected current detection value should be zero; however, if the current detection circuit has a detection fault, a current detection value higher or lower than the true current value is usually obtained.
Of course, the result of the fault diagnosis can be further reported to the administrator, so that the administrator can conveniently process the fault source.
Referring to fig. 2, the embodiment of the present application discloses a current-mode analog output module, which includes a plurality of output channels 101 and a current detection circuit 102, where the output channels are connected in parallel;
the current detection circuit 102 is coupled to a combination of the plurality of output channels 101, and is configured to detect an output current in the combination and send a current detection value to the control unit of each output channel 101;
the control unit is used for judging whether a fault exists according to a current detection value and a target current output value of the main output channel 101, the main output channel 101 is the only output channel 101 which is in a working state at present, wherein the process of judging whether the fault exists is that the current detection circuit 102 sends the current detection value to the control units of the other output channels 101 of the plurality of output channels 101 except the main output channel 101, the other output channels 101 all judge whether the current detection value is consistent with the target current output value of the main output channel 101, and when the output channels 101 exceeding a preset number or a preset proportion judge that the fault exists, the fault is determined to occur; if the fault exists, the main output channel 101 is updated to the standby output channel 101 and is closed, and one of the other output channels 101 is updated to the main output channel 101 and starts working.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a circuit structure diagram of a specific current-mode analog output module according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. On the basis of the above, in the present embodiment, each output channel 101 includes:
the MCU is used for transmitting the target current output value;
the control unit is connected with the output end of the MCU and used for generating and outputting a corresponding digital signal according to the target current output value;
the DAC is connected with the output end of the control unit and used for carrying out DA conversion on the digital signal to generate an analog voltage signal;
and a voltage-to-current circuit (V/I circuit) connected to the output terminal of the DAC, for outputting an output current corresponding to the analog voltage signal.
Among them, the MCU may receive data including a target current output value transmitted via a Local Bus (CPU Bus) and transmit the target current output value to a connected control unit. The control unit has data processing calculation capability and communication capability with the current detection circuit 102, and can generate a digital signal corresponding to the target current output value.
As a specific embodiment, the control unit may be implemented based on an FPGA. The control unit may specifically adopt an SPI communication protocol to send the digital signal to the DAC, and the DAC performs digital-to-analog conversion and outputs an analog voltage signal corresponding to the digital signal. The output of the DAC is connected to the input of the voltage-to-current circuit, which outputs a current of a corresponding magnitude based on the received analog voltage signal. In an ideal no-fault condition, the actually output current value should be the target current output value transmitted by the MCU.
On the other hand, as a specific embodiment, the current detection circuit 102 may specifically include:
the detection resistor is connected in series in the combiner;
the detection chip is connected to two ends of the detection resistor in parallel and is used for detecting the voltage at two ends of the detection resistor;
the ADC is connected with the output end of the detection chip;
and the diagnosis unit is connected with the output end of the ADC and used for controlling the ADC to perform AD conversion on the voltages at the two ends so as to generate a digital voltage signal and sending a current detection value determined based on the digital voltage signal to the control unit of each output channel 101.
Because the resistance value of the detection resistor is fixed, the detection chip can be used for acquiring the voltages at two ends of the detection resistor so as to realize indirect detection of the output current in the combiner. In practical use, the voltage across the output of the detection chip generally needs to be adjusted to meet the input range of the ADC, and therefore, the current detection circuit 102 may further include an operational amplifier disposed between the detection chip and the ADC for signal conditioning.
As a specific example, the diagnostic unit may be implemented based on an FPGA. The diagnosis unit can control the ADC to perform AD conversion on the conditioned voltages at the two ends based on the SPI interface so as to obtain corresponding digital voltage signals. It is easy to understand that the digital voltage signal corresponds to the output current in the combination, and the diagnosis unit can determine the output current detection value according to the digital voltage signal, and then send the output current detection value to the control unit of each output channel 101, and each control unit compares and determines the output current value with the target current output value. Of course, the diagnostic unit may also directly send the digital voltage signal to the control unit of each output channel 101, and the digital voltage signal is compared and determined by each control unit with the digital signal corresponding to the target current output value.
Further, in the current-mode analog output module provided in this embodiment, different preset delay time periods may be stored in the control unit of each output channel 101 in advance, so as to determine the competition ascending main order of each spare output channel 101 in turn. Specifically, after determining that a fault exists according to the current detection value and the target current output value of the main output channel 101, the control unit of each output channel 101 initiates a contention based application after a corresponding preset delay time period elapses. The output channel 101 that first initiated the upgrade master application will become the new master output channel 101.
Further, on the basis of the above contents, the current-mode analog output module provided in this embodiment may also perform fault diagnosis. The control unit in the output channel 101 may specifically update and acquire the current detection value sent by the current detection circuit 102 and determine whether a fault exists again after the updated main output channel 101 is started to operate; if the fault does not exist, judging that the original main output channel 101 has the fault; if the fault exists again, judging whether the updated current detection value is zero or not; if the current is zero, judging that the disconnection fault exists in the combined circuit; if not, it is determined that there is a diagnostic fault in the current detection circuit 102.
Therefore, the current-mode analog output module disclosed by the embodiment of the application can not only detect the fault problem of the system in time, but also select other standby output channels 101 to replace the currently working main output channel 101 to continue current output after the fault occurs, so that fault tolerance is effectively realized, and the safety and the usability of the product are effectively improved.
For the specific content of the current-mode analog output module, reference may be made to the detailed description of the control method of the current-mode analog output module, which is not repeated herein.
