The invention discloses a device for heating rich oil and removing benzene by using waste heat of a coke oven ascending pipe, which comprises a rich oil processor, a rich oil regenerator, a lean oil processor, a rich oil pipeline and a rich oil pump, wherein the rich oil processor, the rich oil regenerator and the lean oil processor are sequentially connected through oil pipes and are used for carrying out heat exchange distillation on rich oil; the invention also discloses a method for heating the rich oil and removing benzene by using the waste heat of the coke oven ascending pipe, which heats the rich oil by using the coke oven ascending pipe, overcomes the defect that a large amount of steam and coal gas are consumed in the using process of the traditional tubular furnace and medium-pressure steam, and achieves the purposes of saving energy, reducing consumption and reducing the temperature of raw gas; the heating of the rich oil by the coke oven ascending pipe does not use the traditional tubular furnace, thereby avoiding the accident of atmospheric pollution caused by incomplete combustion of coal gas and realizing environment-friendly production.
