Background
The traditional toothbrush consists of a toothbrush handle and a plurality of bundles of bristles planted at the toothbrush head part of the toothbrush handle, because each bundle of bristles must be planted in a bristle hole of the toothbrush head after being fixed by a metal wire, water can be reserved in the bristle hole after tooth brushing, and the water can directly cause the metal wire to rust, thereby polluting the toothbrush and people.
In order to overcome the defects, people directly make a prefabricated bristle bundle with dense and parallel filaments by adopting materials such as PPT and the like, the prefabricated bristle bundle is formed by a plurality of bristles which are parallel to each other at one time, the root parts of all the bristles are thermally melted in a hot melting mode to be connected integrally on a welding base at the same end, and the welding base forms a hard flat plate which is conveniently matched with a brush handle. There are two types of handles that fit the preformed bristle bundles:
one is that: the brush head part of the brush handle is provided with a through hole corresponding to the size of the external dimension of the prefabricated bristle bundle, and the inner wall of the through hole is provided with a limiting step for preventing the welding base from passing through the through hole. During production, the back of the brush handle faces upwards, the prefabricated bristle bundle is sleeved in the through hole, the welding base of the prefabricated bristle bundle faces upwards, the prefabricated bristle bundle can be supported on the step of the through hole, and then hot-melt material is injected above the welding base, so that the heat of the material enables the part of the brush handle to be heated, the brush handle and the material are welded into a whole, and the purpose of fixing the prefabricated bristle bundle on the brush handle is achieved.
The other is as follows: the groove corresponding to the size of the outline of the prefabricated bristle bundle is manufactured at the position of the brush head on the front side of the brush handle, during production, the front side of the brush handle faces upwards, the sheet material and the prefabricated bristle bundle which are the same as the brush handle are sequentially placed into the groove, the welding base of the prefabricated bristle bundle faces towards the sheet material, then the sheet material is subjected to hot melting in an ultrasonic welding mode, the part of the brush handle and the base of the prefabricated bristle bundle are heated, the three are melted into a whole, and the purpose of fixing the prefabricated bristle bundle on the brush handle is achieved.
However, since the material of the handle is mostly from TPE, TPR or PP, in order to make the material of the shaped handle melt by heating again and form an inter-melt with the material melted by heat in the through hole or the sheet material in the groove, it is necessary to increase the temperature of injecting the melted material into the through hole or increase the ultrasonic strength. However, PPT is usually used as the material for the preformed bristle bundles, and the melting point of the material can be lower than TPE or TPR or PP. Therefore, the above process of fixing the preformed bristle bundle to the handle tends to cause the fused base portion of the preformed bristle bundle to be overheated and the bristles thereon to fall off, with the following consequences: the density of the bristles of the molded toothbrush is not uniform, resulting in defective products.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a connecting production process of a whole bundle of bristles and a brush handle, which can effectively prevent the bristles from falling off.
The invention comprises the following steps:
1) freezing the brush handle and the prefabricated bristle bundle; the prefabricated bristle bundle comprises a plurality of bristles and a welding base for thermally melting the bristles at the same end; the head of the brush handle is provided with a through hole which is matched with the appearance of the prefabricated bristle bundle and penetrates through the front surface and the back surface of the head of the brush handle, and the inner wall of the through hole is provided with a limiting step for preventing the welding base from penetrating through the through hole;
2) and (3) penetrating the frozen prefabricated bristle bundle into the through hole of the frozen toothbrush handle to expose bristles of the prefabricated bristle bundle out of the through hole, limiting the welding base of the prefabricated bristle bundle above the limiting step of the through hole, injecting hot-melt material above the welding base to fixedly connect the hot-melt material with the toothbrush handle, and cooling to obtain the toothbrush.
The invention freezes the brush handle and the preformed bristle bundle to reduce the temperature of the brush handle and the preformed bristle bundle surface, and improves the strength of the brush handle and the preformed bristle bundle, then the preformed bristle bundle, the hot melt material and the brush handle are integrated into a whole through the hot melt of the injected hot melt material. Although part of heat of the injected hot melt material can be also conducted to the welding base of the prefabricated bristle bundle, due to the low temperature of the prefabricated bristle bundle, when the temperature of the hot melt of the root of the bristle of the prefabricated bristle bundle is not reached, the heat of the hot melt material is firstly conducted to the brush handle in contact with the hot melt material, the brush handle and the hot melt material are connected in a hot melt mode, once the part is connected, the cooling stage is carried out, the waste heat can be further prevented from being conducted to the root of the bristle, and therefore the phenomenon that the bristle is separated from the welding base can be effectively avoided.
The process is simple, safe and efficient, can greatly improve the rate of qualified products of the toothbrush, reduce the production cost and simultaneously improve the connection strength between the prefabricated bristle bundles and the brush handle.
Furthermore, the temperature condition of the freezing is-170 to-100 ℃, and the freezing time is 1 to 5. Repeated researches show that if the freezing temperature is lower than-170 ℃, the strength of the brush handle and the prefabricated bristle bundle becomes low and becomes brittle, which is not beneficial to the processing of the subsequent process and causes brittle fracture; and if the freezing temperature is higher than-100 ℃, the freezing time is too long, which is not beneficial to energy conservation and time-saving production.
In order to conveniently realize a freezing environment, the brush handle and the prefabricated bristle bundle are frozen in liquid nitrogen freezing equipment.
Furthermore, the temperature of the injected hot melt material is 180-220 ℃. Repeated researches show that if the temperature of the injected hot-melt material is higher than 220 ℃, the material is overheated and burnt, even the material is burnt; if the temperature of the injected hot melt material is lower than 180 ℃, the material is not hot melted, so that the flowing requirement of the material is not facilitated, and the fixation among the brush handle, the hot melt material and the prefabricated bristle bundle is also not facilitated, so that the prefabricated bristle bundle falls off from the brush handle.
Detailed Description
Firstly, preparing:
1. prefabricating bristle bundles:
the prefabricated bristle bundle with dense and parallel filaments is directly made of materials such as PPT and the like, the prefabricated bristle bundle comprises a plurality of bristles, and a welding base for thermally melting the bristles at the same end.

Covering an upper die above the brush holder, injecting 180-220 ℃ hot-melt material above the welding base through an injection hole of the upper die, after the hot-melt material and the brush holder are mutually hot-melted to achieve fixed connection, performing water cooling shaping, and demolding to obtain the toothbrush.
Claims (4)
1. A processing technology for fixing a whole bundle of bristles with a brush handle is characterized by comprising the following steps:
1) freezing the brush handle and the prefabricated bristle bundle; the prefabricated bristle bundle comprises a plurality of bristles and a welding base for thermally melting the bristles at the same end; the head of the brush handle is provided with a through hole which is matched with the appearance of the prefabricated bristle bundle and penetrates through the front surface and the back surface of the head of the brush handle, and the inner wall of the through hole is provided with a limiting step for preventing the welding base from penetrating through the through hole;
2) and (3) penetrating the frozen prefabricated bristle bundle into the through hole of the frozen toothbrush handle to expose bristles of the prefabricated bristle bundle out of the through hole, limiting the welding base of the prefabricated bristle bundle above the limiting step of the through hole, injecting hot-melt material above the welding base to fixedly connect the hot-melt material with the toothbrush handle, and cooling to obtain the toothbrush.
2. The process for connecting and producing the whole bundle of bristles and the brush handle according to claim 1, wherein the freezing temperature is-170 ℃ to-100 ℃ and the freezing time is 1-5 ℃.

4. The process for producing a connection between a whole bundle of bristles and a handle according to claim 1, 2 or 3, wherein the temperature of the injected hot-melt material is 180 to 220 ℃.
