Compared with the prior art, the technical scheme of the embodiment of the invention has the following beneficial effects:
on a network side (also referred to as a base station side), an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for indicating PUCCH resources, including: configuring a starting symbol of the PUCCH resource, wherein the starting symbol is at least one in number; transmitting indication information including each starting symbol of the PUCCH resource. Compared with the prior technical scheme of only indicating the slot position of the PUCCH resource, the scheme of the embodiment of the invention configures the starting symbol of at least one PUCCH for the UE, and the starting symbol can be used as a candidate starting symbol, so that the UE can select a proper starting symbol to start sending information (such as feeding back HARQ-ACK) as soon as possible according to the self condition. Therefore, the feedback PUCCH efficiency can be effectively improved, the time delay is greatly reduced, and the requirements of a 5G scene (such as a URLLC scene) on low time delay and high reliability can be better met.
Further, when the number of the starting symbols is one, the method further includes: and indicating a preset mapping pattern, wherein the preset mapping pattern is used for describing a rule for determining starting symbols of other available PUCCH resources according to the starting symbols. Therefore, although there is only one start symbol included in the indication information, the scheme of this embodiment sets a start symbol pattern through the preset mapping pattern, and indicates the candidate start symbol of the PUCCH resource available to the UE in a manner similar to the implicit indication, which also allows the UE to select a suitable start symbol to start sending information as soon as possible according to its own condition, so as to achieve the effect of reducing the sending delay.
On the user equipment side, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for determining PUCCH resources, including: receiving indication information, wherein the indication information comprises a starting symbol of PUCCH resources, and the number of the starting symbol is at least one; and determining a starting symbol according to the indication information, and determining the earliest available starting symbol according to the determined starting symbol and the PDSCH finishing time. Compared with the existing scheme that the network can only wait for sending the PUCCH through only one slot position configured by high-level signaling, the scheme of the embodiment of the invention allows the UE to select a proper starting symbol from a plurality of candidate starting symbols of the PUCCH resource configured for the UE according to the self condition (such as the completion time of the PDSCH) to start PUCCH transmission. Therefore, the unnecessary waiting time of the UE can be effectively reduced, the PUCCH feedback efficiency is improved, the time delay is greatly reduced, and the requirement of a 5G scene (such as a URLLC scene) on low time delay and high reliability can be better met.

Detailed Description
As understood by those skilled in the art, as background art, a Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) is a Physical Channel of an Uplink in a New Radio (NR) system, and carries Uplink Control Information (UCI). The intention of setting the PUCCH is that when a User Equipment (UE) is not scheduled, that is, when an Uplink Shared Channel (UL-SCH) resource is not allocated, the UE may transmit L1/L2 control information including a Channel state report (such as a Precoding Matrix Indicator (PMI) and a Channel Quality Indicator (CQI), an HARQ acknowledgement (ACK/NACK), and a Scheduling Request (SR)) by using the PUCCH. For convenience of description, the HARQ acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) is hereinafter simply referred to as HARQ-ACK.
Table 1 parameters of PUCCH in PUCCH format
PUCCH format Length of OFDM symbol Bits (bit)
0 1-2 ≤2
1 4-12 ≤2
2 1-2 >2
3 4-12 >2
4 4-12 >2
Specifically, the format of PUCCH may be as shown in table 1, where PUCCH formats (PUCCH formats) 0 and 1 can only carry data less than or equal to 2 bits, and PUCCH format 2/3/4 can carry data greater than 2 bits.
In the NR system, after a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection is established, at most, 4 PUCCH Resource sets may be configured for the UE. The UE determines which PUCCH resource set should be used according to the UCI size that needs to be fed back in the current slot (slot). As shown in fig. 1, the size range of UCI that PUCCH resource set i (i ═ 0, …, K-1) can carry is { N ═ Ni,…,Ni+1-1} bit. When there are multiple PUCCH resource sets, N0=1,N1=3,Ni(i-2, …, K-1) is configured by UE-specific higher layer signaling.
When the UCI is less than or equal to 2 bits, each PUCCH resource set can contain 8-32 resources; when the number of the resources is more than 8, a PUCCH resource indicator (generally 3 bits) in Downlink Control Information (DCI) indicates which PUCCH resources (also referred to as PUCCH resource subset) in the PUCCH resource set the UE can use, and then a CCE-index-based implicit mapping method is used to determine which PUCCH resource the UE can finally use in the PUCCH resource subset.
When the UCI is larger than 2 bits, each PUCCH resource set can contain 8 resources; which PUCCH Resource of the PUCCH Resource set the UE can use is indicated by 3 bits of an Acknowledgement Resource Index (ARI) in the DCI, which approach does not require implicit mapping.
For a time slot where HARQ-ACK feedback of a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) scheduled by DCI is located, if a plurality of values are configured for a higher layer signaling (e.g., dl-DataToUL-ACK field), that is, PUCCH resources are configured in a plurality of time slots by a network, a time interval from receiving the PDSCH to transmitting the PUCCH to feed back HARQ-ACK may be indicated by a timing indication (PDSCH-to-HARQ-timing-indicator) field of the Physical Downlink Shared Channel to HARQ of the DCI; if only one value is configured in the dl-DataToUL-ACK field of the higher layer signaling, the UE can directly use the value as the slot offset of the HARQ-ACK feedback.
For a HARQ-ACK feedback slot without DCI Scheduling PDSCH (e.g., Semi Persistent Scheduling (SPS) PDSCH), it needs to be indicated by high layer signaling.
The inventor of the application discovers through analysis that according to the existing protocol, the network can only indicate the time slot position of the PUCCH resource for feeding back the HARQ-ACK, so that only one PUCCH resource can be used for sending the HARQ-ACK in one time slot.
In a URLLC scenario, such an operation mode may cause a feedback delay of HARQ-ACK to be large, and cannot meet a low delay requirement of URLLC.
In order to solve the above technical problem, an embodiment of the present invention provides, on a network side, a method for indicating a PUCCH resource, including: configuring a starting symbol of the PUCCH resource, wherein the starting symbol is at least one in number; transmitting indication information including each starting symbol of the PUCCH resource.
Those skilled in the art understand that, the scheme of the embodiment of the present invention configures the UE with at least one starting symbol of the PUCCH, and these starting symbols may serve as candidate starting symbols, so that the UE can select a suitable starting symbol to start sending information (such as feedback HARQ-ACK) as soon as possible according to its own condition. Therefore, the feedback PUCCH efficiency can be effectively improved, the time delay is greatly reduced, and the requirements of a 5G scene (such as a URLLC scene) on low time delay and high reliability can be better met.
In order to make the aforementioned objects, features and advantages of the present invention comprehensible, embodiments accompanied with figures are described in detail below.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart of a method for indicating PUCCH resources according to an embodiment of the present invention. The scheme of the embodiment can be applied to the network side, such as performed by a base station on the network side. The scheme of the embodiment can be applied to a 5G scene, for example, a scene that a network side configures and indicates PUCCH resources for HARQ-ACK for a UE in a URLLC scene.
Specifically, in this embodiment, the method for indicating the PUCCH resource may include the following steps:
step S101, configuring starting symbols of the PUCCH resources, wherein the number of the starting symbols is at least one.
Step S102, sending indication information, wherein the indication information comprises each starting symbol of the PUCCH resource.
More specifically, the PUCCH resource configured in step S101 may be a PUCCH resource for HARQ-ACK feedback by the UE.
In one or more embodiments, for different UEs, the base station may pre-configure different PUCCH formats and indicate the PUCCH formats to the corresponding UEs through higher layer signaling, where the PUCCH formats may be selected from table 1 above.
One or more PUCCH formats may be configured for the same UE.
In one or more embodiments, the step S101 may include: determining the number of the starting symbols (starting symbol index) according to a PUCCH format configured to the UE.
Taking the above table 1 as an example, for a UE configured with PUCCH format 0 and/or PUCCH format 2, it may be considered that these PUCCH resources are more likely to be used by the UE for HARQ-ACK feedback. Thus, the UE may be configured with multiple start symbols and determine a specific location of each start symbol (e.g., a specific Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbol in one slot).
Still taking the above table 1 as an example, for a UE configured with PUCCH format 1, PUCCH format 3 and/or PUCCH format 4, it may be considered that these PUCCH resources are less likely to be used by the UE for HARQ-ACK feedback. Thus, the UE may be configured with a start symbol and determine the specific OFDM symbol of the start symbol in the slot.
Of course, in practical application, a plurality of start symbols may be configured for all PUCCH formats as needed; alternatively, one start symbol is configured for a UE configured with PUCCH format 0 and/or PUCCH format 2, and a plurality of start symbols are configured for a UE configured with PUCCH format 1, PUCCH format 3, and/or PUCCH format 4.
In one or more embodiments, for a scenario in which the PDSCH is scheduled through DCI, the base station may configure multiple slots for the UE through a downlink data-to-uplink ACK (dl-DataToUL-ACK) field in higher layer signaling, where the multiple slots are candidate slots configured for the UE to transmit the PUCCH.
Further, when configuring PUCCH resources for feeding back HARQ-ACK through higher layer signaling, the base station may configure multiple starting symbols for one or more PUCCH resources configured to the UE. Therefore, the base station adopting the scheme of the embodiment does not need to configure a physical downlink shared channel to HARQ timing indicator (PDSCH-to-HARQ-timing-indicator) field in DCI to indicate the actually available time slots of the UE in the candidate time slots to the UE, because the candidate time slots are potentially available in the scheme, the option of selecting a specific time slot to send HARQ-ACK feedback is transferred to the UE, so that the UE can send the PUCCH as early as possible according to the self condition, and the delay is effectively reduced.
For example, fig. 3 shows the main content of the indication information obtained by the scheme configuration according to the present embodiment in the form of Abstract Syntax Notation (ASN for short). Wherein, the base station configures a plurality of start symbols for each PUCCH format in table 1.
Specifically, for example, taking PUCCH format 3 as an example, in addition to the start symbol (starting symbol index) configured according to the existing protocol, the base station adopting the scheme of this embodiment further configures one start symbol (starting symbol index1) in the indication information.
Further, the indication information may further include the number of OFDM symbols occupied by PUCCH resources corresponding to at least a portion of the starting symbol.
Taking PUCCH format 1 as an example, for a configured starting symbol (starting symbol index), a time domain Orthogonal cover coding (OCC, which is an abbreviation of Orthogonal cover code) field may indicate a time domain position of a PUCCH resource corresponding to the starting symbol.
As a variation, for the scenario of scheduling PDSCH through DCI, the base station may also configure a slot for the UE through the dl-DataToUL-ACK field in the higher layer signaling. At this time, the PDSCH-to-HARQ-timing-indicator field also does not need to be configured in the DCI.
Similarly, for the scenario where PDSCH is scheduled through DCI1-0, the PDSCH-to-HARQ-timing-indicator field also need not be configured in the DCI.
As another variation, for a scenario in which a PDSCH is scheduled without DCI, such as a scenario in which a PUCCH resource is used for HARQ-ACK feedback on a downlink SPS PDSCH, a PUCCH resource for HARQ-ACK feedback may be indicated in a manner configured by a higher layer signaling, where a starting symbol of the PUCCH resource may be obtained by using the scheme described in this embodiment.
In one or more embodiments, the higher layer signaling can include RRC signaling.
In one or more embodiments, although the base station configures only one start symbol in the indication information, the base station may reserve some OFDM symbols for the UE according to a rule predetermined by the UE for the UE to choose to use when the timing is appropriate, so as to ensure that the UE can use the PUCCH resource for HARQ-ACK feedback as early as possible. The OFDM symbols not indicated by the indication information may be derived and determined according to a preset rule through a starting symbol included in the indication information.
Preferably, the preset rule may be described by a preset mapping pattern.
In a non-limiting embodiment, when the number of the start symbols configured in step S101 is one, the scheme of this embodiment may further include: indicating a preset mapping pattern, which may be used to describe a rule for determining starting symbols of other available PUCCH resources according to the starting symbols.
For example, before or after the indication information is transmitted, the base station may transmit the preset mapping pattern again for the UE to determine all potential starting symbols.
For another example, the base station may also indicate an identifier of the preset mapping pattern, and the preset mapping pattern and the identifier thereof may be previously sent to the UE (e.g., sent to the UE when the UE accesses the base station) or predetermined according to a protocol. Therefore, the corresponding relation between the preset mapping pattern and the identification is prestored in both the UE and the base station, so that the size of the indication information needing to be sent to the UE can be reduced, the signaling power consumption is reduced, and the interaction efficiency between the UE and the base station is improved.
Specifically, the identifier may be included in the indication information, or may be separately indicated to the UE before or after the indication information is sent.
In one or more embodiments, the preset mapping pattern may be represented based on the following formula:
(l-SmodL)modL=0;
wherein S is a starting symbol (e.g. an index of the starting symbol, i.e. a specific OFDM symbol position) included in the indication information; l is the number of OFDM symbols occupied by the PUCCH resources; starting symbols of the other available PUCCH resources are l meeting the formula; the mod operation is a remainder operation.
Therefore, other OFDM symbols in one slot before and after the starting symbol included in the indication information, which satisfy the above formula, may be determined as the starting symbol of the other available PUCCH resources.
In one or more alternatives, an earliest starting symbol of the starting symbols of the other available PUCCH resources may be located after the starting symbol included in the indication information.
Further, the preset mapping pattern may be represented based on the following formula:
(l-S)modL=0;
wherein, S is a starting symbol included in the indication information; l is the number of OFDM symbols (nrofSymbols) occupied by the PUCCH resources; and starting symbols of the other available PUCCH resources are l which meets the formula, and l is more than or equal to S.
Therefore, other OFDM symbols in one slot after the starting symbol included in the indication information, which satisfy the above formula, may be determined as the starting symbol of the other available PUCCH resources.
In one or more embodiments, in the step S102, the indication information may be sent through the higher layer signaling. The indication information is sent, for example, by RRC signaling.
Therefore, with the scheme of this embodiment, at the network side (also referred to as the base station side), by configuring the starting symbol of at least one PUCCH for the UE, these starting symbols can be used as candidate starting symbols, so that the UE can select a suitable starting symbol to start sending information (such as feedback HARQ-ACK) as soon as possible according to its own condition. Therefore, the feedback PUCCH efficiency can be effectively improved, the time delay is greatly reduced, and the requirements of a 5G scene (such as a URLLC scene) on low time delay and high reliability can be better met.

Those skilled in the art understand that the indicating device 4 for PUCCH resources (hereinafter, referred to as indicating device 4) in this embodiment is used to implement the method technical solutions in the embodiments shown in fig. 2 and fig. 3.

In one or more alternatives, the preset mapping pattern may be represented based on the following formula: (l-SmodL) modL ═ 0; wherein, S is a starting symbol included in the indication information; l is the number of OFDM symbols occupied by the PUCCH resources; the starting symbol of the other available PUCCH resources is l satisfying the formula.

Fig. 5 is a flowchart of a PUCCH resource determining method according to an embodiment of the present invention. The scheme of the embodiment can be applied to the user equipment side, such as performed by user equipment (UE for short). The scheme of the embodiment can be applied to a 5G scene, for example, the implementation of HARQ-ACK feedback by using PUCCH resources with low time delay of the UE in a URLLC scene can be supported.
Specifically, in this embodiment, the method for determining the PUCCH resources may include the following steps:
step S501, receiving indication information, where the indication information includes a starting symbol of a PUCCH resource, and the number of the starting symbol is at least one.
Step S502, determining a starting symbol according to the indication information, and determining the earliest available starting symbol according to the determined starting symbol and the PDSCH completion time.
Further, for the explanation of the nouns involved in the present embodiment, reference may be made to the related description in fig. 2 and fig. 3, which is not repeated herein.
Further, the indication information received in step S501 may be that the transmitting end (i.e., the base station) performs the method technical solution configuration of the embodiments shown in fig. 2 and fig. 3 and transmits the configuration to the UE.
In one or more embodiments, in the step S502, an index of a starting symbol of a PUCCH resource configured by the base station and the number of starting symbols configured to the UE may be determined according to the indication information.
In one or more embodiments, the PDSCH completion time may be determined according to the last OFDM symbol of the received PDSCH and the processing time of the PDSCH.
In one or more embodiments, the step S502 may include: when the number of the determined starting symbols is plural, an earliest starting symbol located after the PDSCH completion time among the plural starting symbols may be determined as the earliest available starting symbol.
That is, corresponding to the technical solution of the method in the embodiment shown in fig. 3, when the indication information includes a plurality of starting symbols, the UE may autonomously select a suitable starting symbol for HARQ-ACK feedback according to the PDSCH completion time of the UE. Specifically, the UE may find an earliest starting symbol from a plurality of starting symbols (starting symbol indexes) included in the indication information as the earliest available starting symbol after the PDSCH processing time is added to the last OFDM symbol for receiving the PDSCH, where the earliest available starting symbol is a starting symbol for transmitting the PUCCH.
For example, assuming that the last OFDM symbol of the PDSCH is 7, the processing time of the PDSCH is 3 symbols (symbols), and there is no OFDM symbol overlap between the PDCCH and the PDSCH, the indication information includes starting symbols with indices of 4, 8, and 12. The UE may select the starting symbol 12 to start sending HARQ-ACK feedback.
In one or more alternatives, the step S502 may include: when the number of the determined starting symbols is one, determining starting symbols of other available PUCCH resources except the starting symbols according to a preset mapping pattern, wherein the preset mapping pattern can be used for describing a rule for determining the starting symbols of the other available PUCCH resources according to the starting symbols; determining an earliest starting symbol located after a PDSCH completion time as the earliest available starting symbol for the starting symbol and starting symbols of the other available PUCCH resources.
That is, corresponding to the technical solution of the method in which the indication information includes one start symbol in the embodiment shown in fig. 2 and indicates the start symbols of other available PUCCH resources through the preset mapping pattern, when the indication information includes one start symbol, the UE may determine, according to the preset mapping image, the candidate start symbols remaining in the slot, which are not indicated in the indication information by the base station, and further autonomously select a suitable start symbol for HARQ-ACK feedback according to the PDSCH completion time of the UE. Specifically, the UE may find the earliest starting symbol from the starting symbol included in the indication information according to the mapping pattern as the starting symbol for transmitting the PUCCH after adding the PDSCH processing time to the last OFDM symbol for receiving the PDSCH.
In one or more embodiments, the preset mapping pattern may be received before or after receiving the indication information; alternatively, the preset mapping pattern may also be determined according to an identifier of the received preset mapping pattern, and the preset mapping pattern and the identifier thereof may be received from the network in advance or determined in advance according to a protocol.
For example, in response to receiving the identifier of the preset mapping pattern, the UE may search for the preset mapping pattern that determines that the PUCCH resource configured by the base station is suitable for this time, and then determine the start symbol of the other available PUCCH resource according to the preset mapping pattern based on the start symbol included in the received indication information.
In one or more embodiments, an earliest starting symbol of the starting symbols of the other available PUCCH resources may be located before or after the starting symbol included in the indication information.
Further, the preset mapping pattern may be represented based on the following formula:
(l-SmodL)modL=0;
wherein, S is a starting symbol included in the indication information; l is the number of OFDM symbols occupied by the PUCCH resources; the starting symbol of the other available PUCCH resources is l satisfying the formula.
For example, assuming that the last OFDM symbol of the PDSCH is 7, the processing time of the PDSCH is 3 symbols, and the PDCCH and the PDSCH do not overlap with each other, the index of the start symbol included in the indication information is 4, and the number of symbols (i.e., the number of OFDM symbols occupied by the PUCCH resource) is 2. Then, it can be known from the above formula that l is 0,2,4,6,8,10,12, that is, all the indexed OFDM symbols can be used as candidate starting symbols, and among them, the OFDM symbol which satisfies the PDSCH completion time earliest is 10, then the PUCCH starting symbol which can be used by the UE is the OFDM symbol with the index of 10.
In one or more alternatives, an earliest starting symbol of the starting symbols of the other available PUCCH resources may be located after the starting symbol included in the indication information.
Further, the preset mapping pattern may be represented based on the following formula:
(l-S)modL=0;
wherein, S is a starting symbol included in the indication information; l is the number of OFDM symbols occupied by the PUCCH resources; and starting symbols of the other available PUCCH resources are l which meets the formula, and l is more than or equal to S.
Then, it can be known from the above formula that l is 4,6,8,10,12, that is, all the indexed OFDM symbols can be used as candidate starting symbols, and among them, the OFDM symbol 10 that satisfies the processing time (i.e., the PDSCH completion time) earliest is the PUCCH starting symbol that can be used by the UE is the OFDM symbol with the index of 10.
Further, the indication information may further include the number of OFDM symbols occupied by PUCCH resources corresponding to at least a portion of the starting symbol.
Further, the step S501 may include: and receiving the indication information through high-layer signaling. The indication information is received, for example, through RRC signaling.
Thus, with the scheme of this embodiment, on the user equipment side, the UE is allowed to select an appropriate starting symbol from a plurality of candidate starting symbols of the PUCCH resource configured for the UE according to its own condition (e.g., the completion time of the PDSCH) to start PUCCH transmission. Therefore, the unnecessary waiting time of the UE can be effectively reduced, the PUCCH feedback efficiency is improved, the time delay is greatly reduced, and the requirement of a 5G scene (such as a URLLC scene) on low time delay and high reliability can be better met.
